    The hair looks good, I think. But who can even pay attention to the hair with those teeth! I’ve never noticed it before, but that boy has some WHITE TEETH. Blindingly white! Like, Ross on Friends kind of white! Oh well…I guess I’ll have to remember to bring sunglasses to the theater in December :)
    I’m so mean. I think he’ll do well, though.

    I think that Taylor Lautner will do great as Jake, HE’s PERFECT!! The wigs a little weird though, I wish it wasn’t so… I guess “poofy” is the word I’m looking for, maybe it would be better on screen, I’ll wait till then to make my final dicision. :P :)

    I love Taylor as “Jacob!” In the La Push scene where Bella “flirts” with Jacob, I pictured this young, “cutie pie” Jacob who has that great smile. The only thing I don’t like is the wig… She always talked about how “silky” it looked, but that wig…… looked a little “frizzy.”

    im gonna be honest when i first saw this kid was playing jacob i was NOT happy…but i think now after seeing him in the wig and getting an idea of what he’ll look like AS jacob i think hes alright now ^.^.

    I love him as Jake!! He really is a talented actor and will do the job well. The wig is prefect really. I know Bella describes Jake’s hair as silky, but whos to say that it won’t look nice on screen. Not being a Jake fan or anything, but he will look awesome white teeth and all. (Bella talks about his big whit smile in contrast to his skin in the book, so I think they look good)

    I have to agree with Ashley. I was not impressed with Taylor. I couldn’t see a 12 year old holding Bella’s attention at all, but I have began to warm up to him. I hope he can become Jacob. (Although I like Jacob, I think he should leave Bella alone forever!!)

    I thought I used to be in love with the character of Edward, but after reading New Moon and Eclipse…I kept having like, dreams of my own about Jacob. I think Taylor is the best person they could ever find for the character.

    It also doesn’t help that I don’t find the guy who is playing Edward attractive…

    All of you Jake-haters are crazy! He’s perfect for Jacob Black. He’s better than I even imagined. Soooooooooo fine! His hottness totally makes up for Pattinson’s lack of it. Not that I blame Robert, i mean its kinda impossible to find someone like Edward that actually exists. Still, Lautner rules in this film!

    im gunna have to say that taylor for jacob is there best pick out of all the charaters. I don’t like who they picked for Edward, and i don’t like who they picked for Bella either… i know the characters aren’t going to be as great as you pictured then in your mind, but still they could of picked someone better for edward and bella.

    He is SOOOO not to young! he is 16. And in the book thats how old Jacob was!!! And I mean if you look up pictures of this boy you will agree He has the Perfect body for the part of a *Werewolf* He is SOOOO strong for someone of his age. I do have to say though that personally I LOVE this guy. To bad that he has to wear a wig. If only jacob had short hair! -sighs- Sorry Im all for Jacob and not so much for Edward. Even though I am obsessed with Vampires.

    but i imagined a really hot half african/american and half english guy.?? - like the guy who plays dean thomas in Harry Potter (Alfred Enoch)
    He needs to be taller, older, blacker and more of a bush man. (he’s too neat and too much of a surf dude)

    I love Taylor as Jacob!! (cause Jacob is my favorite character!!), but I’m so sad because he has to wear an ugly wig so he has long hair and the aren’t even putting it in a ponytail… AND that doesn’t even matter cause he plays young Jacob.. so hes only going to be in Twilight… WAAAH! :( the other guy is ugly…..

    I love that he is playing jacob! he’s more prefect than I thought he would be! he’s just really really good looking!.. and I love his teeth hahaha they’re PERFECT!!
    I’ve watched some of his interviews and he’s like the sweetest boy alive and also his laugh is so ADORABLE!! and really down-to-earth!! I REALLY LIKE HIM!.. can’t wait to see him on twilight.. I’m pretty sure he’s gonna do such a good job!!

    I do like him as Jacob now that I’ve seen him, but I really pictured Jacob with shaggy, long, straight hair past his shoulders. With him being a werewolf, I guess I pictured him as a lot more rough looking, but innocent at the same time. I thought he would loiok a lot more juvenile and rag-tag, and the kind of person you’d love for the inside of them, like their thoughts and attitude and stuff. I kinda do like him better in my head, but I think it definitely works for the big screen! <3

    I loved Jacob in the books but didn’t know how this guy would work out. Now, in spite of his height, he is the perfect Jacob. There’s a sweet and genuine delivery to his performance that really fit the Jacob I remember from the books.
