well….i think they might cuz edward might wanna be there because i mean he knows what they’re gonna think about it and he might be quite entertained by it. charlie and renee will definitely freak out. period. no questions about that we all know that. all i can think of charlie saying is “no” haha. like no questions asked the debate is over just no.
it wouldnt be drama if someone didnt interupt you know someone is. its either gonna be renee or jacob. im thinking it might be jacob more so.
i will jump off a bridge if she goes to jacob….lol
Umm I really think you need to change the name. Twilight is supposed to be not wrong!
I think Edward will go with Bella to tell Charlie about the engagement. Charlie will be really mad (at least i think so..) and he’ll try to talk Bella out of it. Bella will probably call Rene to tell her about the engagement, and Rene will not approve of her getting married so young, but i think she’ll still be happy for Bella and Edward.
I think Jacob might interrupt the wedding (if he isn’t there already)
i can totally picture Bella and Edward at the altar getting ready to say ‘i do’ and suddenly BAM! jake come storming in saying ‘I OBJECT!’ nice try, jacob… but Bella and Edward will be together forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Before I start, to the lovely Kassie, sick or not, last week you said my name right (it is pronounced NOLL-ee) and also sorry about the page number stuff, as a college student I have to label where I found it…you know, pledgerizing stuff—anyways my answers for this week—)
Edward and Bella will of course go and talk to Bella’s parents together. No child would go inform their parents that they are getting married without their sufficient other being there as support. Bella is worried that Charlie will react the worse out of her parents which might explain why Bella says to Edward, “It’s a good thing you’re bulletproof…I’m going to need that ring. It’s time to tell Charlie (Eclipse, page 620).” Charlie has witnessed Bella’s pain first hand when Edward left at the beginning of New Moon and he still believes that deep down and shall never forget the fact that Edward is still responsible for the pain and depression that was inflicted upon Bella. We know that Charlie won’t kill Edward considering Edward can not be killed but also Charlie semi-understands, though he refuses to at times, that Edward does love Bella and wants the best for her. Charlie will be worried of course because he doesn’t want Bella to go through the same pain back in September and also go through the same situation when Renée left him. And speaking of Renée, she too will be worried about Bella for she states that in Eclipse: “I’m worried about you…and Edward (page 67).” Knowing Renée (and Charlie’s past), Renée will be worried that Bella might be rushing things, by getting married so early and she doesn’t want Bella to go through what she did. It’s one of those “I want my kids to have what I never did” type of deals. However, all in all, Bella’s parents will be understanding and supportive though they will probably wish that Bella would think about it and/or put it off the wedding for some time (which Edward would love) but in the end they will let Bella do what she feels like she needs to do. Parents learn that sooner-or-later they have to let their babies fly the nest and that they will make their own mistakes. And like real parents, Renée and Charlie will love Bella no matter what she does or doesn’t do. After all, they are parents; they are suppose to be understanding and loving.
As for the second question, I am still inconclusive again though I have some ideas. I have a funny tummy feeling that something will happen but I’m not completely sure. There are only two possible reasons why the wedding would be interrupted and that would be either the Volturi and/or werewolves. So, could it be the Volturi? The Volturi seemed very set in their ways, not interacting with humans unless it was “supper” time and since there will be humans at the wedding, I don’t think that they will risk exposing the immortal world that they will stay away from the wedding. So…that means that the werewolves will make amuck of the wedding, right? It seems like that. They know that shortly after the wedding that Bella will be changed into a vampire and by interrupting the wedding that Bella will not say “I Do” and there for not become a vampire. PLUS, Alice can’t see werewolves so if they do decide to interrupt the wedding, the wedding will vanish and therefore Alice will think that the wedding will be called off. So it does seem highly likey the werewolves would be the most possible answer for the wedding to be interrupted. I, however, wish that I am wrong, that the funny tummy feeling is just stress from school and that the wedding will be fine and Bella will be Bella Cullen because by interrupting the wedding could mean so many things like possible harm that could happen to Bella since we know that she’s the danger magnet.

In the answer to the first question:
I do believe that Edward and Bella will go to tell Bella’s parents they are getting married together. I think it is a question of supporting one another. We all know that Carlisle and Esme are ecstatic for Bella to join their family but it’s also well-known that this marriage may not be received well by Charlie and Renee. I think that Renee will have some heartache with it since she wants Bella to really to have a life she never did and not have to worry about leaving someone. Renee hated living in Forks and thinks that Bella should too so that she won’t get stuck there like Renee worried would happen to herself. In the end I’m sure Renee will be a mother and suck it up.
Charlie, on the other hand, is a little harder to figure out since he strongly dislikes Edward. We all know that Charlie blames Edward for Bella’s accidents and catatonic states etc, BUT we also know that Charlie is sort of expecting this as he makes reference to something big happening with Bella and all he needs is a little heads up. Like I said, they are parents at heart and just want their kid happy. (You’d think I was a parent as well the way I write this but I’m only 19!!)
As far as what will happen with the wedding and all that…I think we are all making a big deal out of something that is so little in comparison to the other things that will happen. I think that Stephenie Meyer might be playing tricks on us all making us think that something big will happen when really, it’ll just be Bella figuring out that maybe this marriage thing isn’t so bad. However, I DO see something happening shortly thereafter the wedding. Perhaps during Bella’s change or just before it to really make her rethink her status on being a vampire. In reference to Jake, I would TOTALLY hate to see him try and ruin the wedding (I’m SO with Kassie on this one! Boo Jake :P)
On a side note:
I don’t think that Jacob will imprint on Leah because Stephenie Meyer says in an interview that someone thought that Jacob had imprinted on Bella and that wasn’t the truth because Jacob would have been able to tell her everything, and he would’ve imprinted the first time he saw her after his change. That being said, he’s seen Leah dozens of times after he changed and he hasn’t imprinted on her yet….soooo that’s just something to consider!!

Okay I think it would be terribly funny if Edward went and talked to Charlie with out telling Bella, you know, like asking the father before he proposes, even though they are already engaged, however, I do not think that Charlie will approve right away, be in the end I do think he will get over it. I think Renee will have her own opinion but be mostly supporting, because Bella let her get married despite it all, so Renee might think about that, despite, her actions.
I am an “Edwardite” how ever, i do see Jacobs side of the story, but all this Werewolf stuff is good action, but i would rather see the Voultri action, so though it is less likely i would think the Voutri would crash the wedding because that left you hanging and it has to play out somewhere, and while i am on the subject, i do not think that Edward, Alice, or Carlisle will be the one to bite her, and it will be in an emergency situation, like a Werewolf attack
and i think it would be Rosalie or Jasper or MAYBE Esme, sorry for getting off subject, and i think Bella will be bitten BEFORE the wedding or Edward will SOMEHOW be mortal 
i think they need to be equal before they get married, and if shes human and hes a careful vampire, they won’t have a very good wedding kiss 
and we wouldn’t want that now would we?
I don’t mean to sound all depressing and I’m not going to check back here if people reply so don’t waste your time telling me off.
Anyway…..
From a literary stand point, I’m theorizing that they either.
a. Will not get married because they’re dead or
b. Will get married, and then die.
Since Meyer compares their relationship to that of both “Romeo and Juliet” and Catherine and Heathcliffe (”Wuthering Heights”) - neither of which have happy endings - both of which the two main characters end up dead and not happily ever after.
I think maybe the Volturi might come after the wedding, see Bella still alive (hopefully after Bella and Edwards “try”) and attack. Either, Edward will die and Bella might end up with Jacob anyway (I know I’m not a Jacob fan either) OR Bella will die and Edward will off himself, though since the story is from Bella’s point of view that might be rather difficult (though she did have the confusing Jacob chapter in the end of “Eclipse”)
However, in opposition to my own theory, since Meyer is such a hopeless romantic, she might “cop out” and give them the happily ever after anyway, despite the fact that she has literarily set it up to be a tragedy.
Sorry, if that depressed anyone, it’s just, as an English Major, that is how she has used parallelism to foreshadowed the book thus far.

I don’t think the wedding will be interrupted. I do think it could be postponed for some reason so that it comes towards the end of the book as opposed to the beginning. I wish I had cool theories like others but I don’t.
I think that Edward will go with Bella to tell her parents about the wedding because, not only is it the gentlemanly thing to do (and that is SO definitely Edward), but he would want to be there to support Bella, because I’m pretty sure that her parents aren’t going to love the idea of them getting married so young. Obviously Charlie is going to be furious and hate Edward even more (a very sad though, but I can’t help but be eager to read his crazy outburst! Lol. It should be hilarious). I have a feeling that Renee will be more disappointed by Bella’s decision than angry, because Bella’s following in her footsteps and she wants so much more for her. But I don’t see Renee judging Bella, because she did it herself when she was that age…”he who casts the first stone” and all of that. Or at least I hope that she wouldn’t judge Bella, because she knows just how much Bella and Edward love each other: she got to witness it firsthand while they were visiting her. I truly believe that deep down, Charlie and Renee know that Edward is right for Bella and that he is practically her life. Once the anger and the disappointment settle, they will be satisfied with the knowledge that Edward will take the best care of Bella and that she will be the happiest she could ever be.
I like Bedward, but if given an opportunity to voice alternative options, (ahem) I’d vote for Belward. Don’t ask me why. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and running purely on hormones right now.
#1 - the parents and the reaction: I think this is all in the past. Afterall, Jacob has already received a wedding invitation. So, if this is covered in Breaking Dawn it will have to happen in retrospect. We already have seen Charlie’s awareness of Bella and Edward, when he asked her to just let him know before she runs away with Edward. So, Charlie might not be Edward’s number one fan, but he already knows something’s brewing. He won’t be ecstatic, but I think he’ll be as supportive as Charlie can be. Renee on the otherhand–crap will probably hit the fan. But I do think Renee is also aware that Bella has kind of been the grown up all the years Renee ‘raised’ her. She won’t like it, will probably kick up more of a fuss than Charlie, but will concede that Bella’s always had her head on straight. So, all in all, yes, Bella and Edward have talked to her parents and I believe they did it together.
#2 - the wedding crashers: Maybe I’m unimaginative, but I don’t see this happening. I can see a postponed wedding, but not a disasterously ruined one. I absolutely do NOT understand the idea of the Volturi coming around and crashing the wedding just as the “I do’s” are about to be spoken. The whole reason the Volturi have it in for Bella is because she’s a human who knows the truth about the vampire world–big no no. What sense would it make for them to come interrupt the wedding where a whole town of unknowing humans are going to be in attendance?? And I believe it’s safe to assume much of Forks is being invited because Edward extended an invite to Jacob, he wouldn’t do that if it were a “vampire only” occassion. Jacob might show up and make an idiot of himself at the wedding, but I think deep down, unless it’s postponed, the wedding will go off without a hitch. After all, Alice is planning it. She’s got her ‘eye’ on the Volturi anyway–she’d know if they were on their way.

Oh My God I wish that was me Rob was putting his arm around. I don’t know why but ever since April , 6 i’ve been thinking these dirty thoughts with me and him.
First of all, I want to say how much I LOVE listening to your podcasts every week! I find myself laughing so hard sometimes. Kassie, I feel your pain with the allergies. I’m having trouble with mine too and it’s horrible! But you sounded great and definitely entertained us in the last podcast.

Q1: Apparently Edward and Bella already told her parents about them getting married because Jacob received the wedding invitation in the epilogue. But I do wonder what their reaction was. I’m absolutely positive that Edward and Bella did it together. I’m sure Charlie was very stubborn about it and told Bella she was too young to do this. He’s also not Edward’s biggest fan anymore. But Bella probably mentions the fact that Charlie told her to warn him if her and Edward were about to do something crazy like run off together. She’s doing just that so Charlie can’t be too mad about it. He was expecting it. And I’m sure Renee will be very concerned about it because Bella is following in her footsteps and marrying at a young age. Since her own marriage with Charlie didn’t last, she’s afraid Bella and Edward will have the same fate. Little do they know just how strong Edward and Bella’s love really is.
Q2: Unfortunately, I really don’t think the wedding will happen the first time around. I’m sure something or someone will interrupt the wedding. I do see Jacob being a part of the interruption. He’s too stubborn and obnoxious to let Bella move on with her life. Of course he will most likely declare his love once more, hoping Bella will finally return it and be with him. Then the Volturi will come in. They will see Bella is still not a vampire and cause trouble. Bella will be injured very badly during this..almost to the brink of death. Thus causing Edward to choose life or death for Bella. Of course I think he’ll choose life and bite her! Finally! And Jacob and Bella will *have* to stay apart then. Edward and Bella will finally have their wedding…and their happy beginning of eternity!
I think taht it will take awhile for bella to get around and tell her mother, but i think she will b able to explain to her father a bit more easier. The plans for the wedding will not involve the parents, i think that Alice will plan the whole thing.

Well I haven’t thought about it too much but I think that Edward will insist that he goes along, since he will ‘know’ what he needs to say as ye ol’ parental units change their mode to what Bella asks. Well I guess I souldn’t really say ask since it will happen anyway. Plus Edward, being the old fashion gentleman he is, will more than likely thinkg that he NEEDS to ask for her hand. Personally I think it is uber sweet and lovely gesture of respect. But knowing Bella she’d think otherwise. One, because she knows how much her mom hates early marriage (though I’m sure Edward would know what to say). And two, because Charlie is on the verge of ripping Edwards head off with loathing, (and I’m sure Edward would know exactly what to say, again, to keep Charlie’s bias at bay)
The thing that I wonder is how they are going to ask. How are both her mother and father going to here it…seperately? Who first? I’m sure Charlie would be the hardest to talk to. But possibly the more exciting scene so possibly him first…I’m not sure.

LOL, yeah I think Stephenie is going to get clever with that scene; something like this:

Jacob shows up but is can’t decide when to intervine. Edward is too focused on Jacob to realize that Alice has just had a vision of the Volturi will be there the next day. And all this happends right before Mike or someone stands up and states their love for Bella. And then gosh darn I don’t know what they’d need to do. They’d have to change Bella soon, or Edward could ask Jacob to take her off somewhere(for her safety…) Bella would have to say goodbye sooner than later. She could freak out and leave Edward (the Midsummer night theory proposed last week) and be with Jacob in that way for a little while. But then still the whole Volturi thing…Darn. I just don’t know, I’m just rambling thoughts out as they come, really.
Ok, first off I LOVE you guys and your pod casts, they are something I look forward to each week and being able to speculate about what is to come from my favorite fictional characters is always a good distraction from homework! So thanks! And keep up the great work!!!
So, here is my answer….
1. Of course Edward will go with Bella to talk to Charlie, it just wouldn’t be Edward-like if he didn’t. However…. I do feel that there may be a part of Bella that wants to face Charlie alone so she can talk to him and calm him down if he does explode, because the sight of Edward might not help. But I feel that there will be a bigger side in Bella that will want Edward there to make her feel more at ease and give her confidence when she tells Charlie the big news. And I’m not sure how they will tell Renee, maybe over the phone? Pretty lame… but how will they react? I think Charlie will go into shock and give Bella silent treatment till he figures out how he feels about it. Idk, me personally, I don’t see Charlie as a ‘yelling’ type, but in eclipse there were some of those scenes, so you never know how he will react because he is caring at times but then completely over protective others. So I believe it is a toss up, and could go either way. And I think that Renee will just plain flip out, much like how my mom would if I told her, not a great picture.
And number two….
As much as I want the wedding to be absolutely 100% perfect, I think that with so much build up over the past two books, sadly how could it not go wrong?! I believe that Jake will cause some sort of commotion at the weeding, maybe objecting when the priest asks for any objections…? I can just picture everyone’s faces… pretty funny, but then I believe the Cullen’s and Bella would be just a tad bit upset. Or the Volturi, perhaps, and of course Bella will not be a vampire, so that would cause a major interruption, that would probably cause the wedding to maybe not even happen.
There is no way Edward would allow Bella to have that important talk without him. The scene at the end of Eclipse (before the Jacob scene, which btw Kassie, I don’t like him either!) where Bella grabs Edward’s hand and says something along the lines of “Time to tell Charlie” after she finally agrees to marry him, suggests that they plan to go together. From a couple point of view, going away from the whole immortal-marrying-mortal thing, it’s normal for a couple to go together to tell their parents. It just seems that since Edward is old-fashioned, he would want to keep up those pretenses.
As for wedding crashers? I love the idea of the Volturi crashing, basically for no other reason than my strong desire for Bella to be changed! Edward’s aversion to it (that reminds me STRONGLY of a certain boy wizard who breaks up with his girlfriend to keep her safe!) changing Bella would not last long if they interfere. But I want it to be Edward who changes her.
I don’t want Jacob to crash it, however. I’m on Kassie’s side on this one. He annoys me, but not because of his love for Bella. Just in the way he acts. Maybe I’ve met too many people like him, but I just can’t stand him! But crashing the wedding would just complicate matters more for Bella, and would make her begin to doubt (however small) about her choice. Maybe not, but I don’t want there to be even a chance of that happening to Edward. Think what it would do to him!
But to be fair, I don’t want Jacob to be alone. He just needs to imprint. FAST.

Of course I think they’ll go and talk to Bella’s parents. If they wouldn’t the whole thing’d be stupid. I can’t wait for them to get married and to get Bella changed.
I hope the wedding will not be interrupted by Jacob though he has a reason to do it. But I don’t like him since the beginning and if he destroys their wedding I’d be disappointed.

I think Edward might be all old-fashioned and insist on asking for Charlie’s permission to marry Bella all by himself. Knowing Charlie and how prone he is to freak out I think Bella may counter that and insist on being present to keep the situation under control. I think they will tell Renee together, maybe another trip to Florida is in the works? If anything Bella is going to need some support when telling her mom who is not going to be at all thrilled. Bella probably hopes that Edward’s presence will limit the severity of her mom’s reaction.
If the wedding is interrupted my best guesses are the werewolves (i.e. Jacob) or the Volturi or both (?). Part of me hopes that it goes off without a hitch but another part of me thinks that the opportunity for wedding crashers is too tempting to pass up. We’ll just have to wait and see I guess.
I believe that Bella and Edward will have gone to tell Charlie about the wedding. (Remember Jacob & Billy have an ivitation all ready at the end of Eclipse) I think that Renee will get a phone call, and may not even make it to the wedding. She seems to cancel on big events a lot! Charlie will not be happy, but resigned and accept it.
I do not believe that the wedding is going to be crashed. However, I do think that it will not be at the beginning of the book. My order of events is somewhat different than everybody else’s. I think that they will have a werewolf issue with Jacob at the beginning, because he has run away for good, and that will upset Bella and she will need to find him before the wedding. Then, I think that the Volturi are going to send Demetri to find Edward and check on Bella, so I think they “try”, then Bella is a vampire and then the wedding happens. Although I think that Jacob and Rosalie are not in attendance at the wedding due to the first 2 events on my list.

Honestly i do not think the volturi will interupt anything. this is because they already know that a date is set for her to become a vampire so why would they come back so soon? they wouldnt…it would be a waste of time. in eclipse they didnt even come to check up they came for the fact that there were things running amuck. so if it wasnt for that they maynot have come to check on her for a long time anyways.
I do think that Bella and Edward will talk to her parents together, but I think Charlie will have a fit, I mean, he hasn’t liked Edward since she started dating Bella really and now they’re getting married so, he will definitally freek out!
Of course something like that will happen at the wedding, what would be fun about a normal wedding that goes perfect, HELLO, we need action and adventure!
I think it will be hard to include the parents in the wedding. Renee doesn’t think its right for anyone to get married so young. Charlie is just so overprotective. He doesn’t like Edward much but is backing off a little bit. I think it will take some time.
I think there will be someone who will ruin the wedding. I think it will be Jake. He wants to fight for her. He knows he is in love with her but haven’t imprinted on her. I would like to see Alice get all vampire on Jake. That would be funny.
In my good honest opinion, I definitely think that
Edward will come with Bella to tell her father. Edward cares so much for Bella, and as stated in the story, is elated beyond words that Bella has agreed to marry him, that he cannot and will not leave Belaa to fend for herself while telling Charlie that at almost ninteen she is getting married.(I can only imagine what she went through- I know what my parents would to in that situtation). Anyway… as for the reactions of Charlie and Renee, Charlie will be beside himself, maybe yelling loud enough for the neighbors to hear! She has described his reactions in other situations(something close to an aneurism) so he is not going to be happy. Renee will be hysterical because she has drilled into Bella’s brain that you dont marry young, that you should wait, and now, Bella is going to marry a guy a year younger than Renee did. She will be sad and disappointed that Bella did not listen to her but, I think because of Renees simpler look at life she sees how much Bella and Edward care for each other, and how protected and safe Bella will be with him. In the end they will both agree, unwillingly most likely, because doesn’t Jacob and Billy get a wedding invitation and the end of Eclipse. Alice would hardly send those out for fear if they did not agree someone calls for congratulations
i think Edward will go with Bella to tell Charlie the news. Charlie would, of course, be disappointed in Bella and angrier with Edward than he already is. Charlie will definitely have the urge to kick Bella out. but he loves her daughter and somewhere, someday, i think Charlie will approve of Edward for Bella’s sake.
First of all, I think that we are incorrectly assuming that Bella really cares that much about her parent’s approval. I mean sure, she’ll tell them that she’s getting married (with Edward by her side) but if Charlie and Rene don’t approve – big deal. Stephanie Meyer has done a good job at helping us readers not get too attached to her parents. Bella is not close to them – she barely speaks (usually she sends emails) to her mom who is too busy with her new husband, and Charlie recently became involved in her life when she decided to move to Forks. Their reactions are going to be - Charlie: “Bella! Are you *beep*ing kidding me?! You just graduated *beep*ing high school?!” Rene: “Bella, honey you’re making a mistake, you’re too young…(blah, blah, blah). IT’S NOT GOING TO MATTER PEOPLE, she’s gonna do what she wants anyway – THIS IS BELLA WE’RE TALKING ABOUT.
I don’t see Jacob crashing the wedding that would be way too corny. I mean when would he show up? When the priest says “…if anyone objects please speak now or forever hold your peace”?! No way, Stephanie’s too cool for that. If anyone comes it will be the Volturi. BTW, they intrigue me soooo much! Am I the only one?
I JUST THOUGHT ABOUT SOMETHING! Bella should totally take Jasper with her so that he can manipulate her parent’s emotions! Wouldn’t that be awesome!?

Okay down to business. I do believe that Edward and Bella will talk to Charlie together. Bella will need his support b/c I’m afraid Charlie isn’t going to be very happy. Though, I feel like he might’ve seen it coming, he’s not as stupid as he might look
I also would love to see Bella fly down and tell her mother in person. Edward can totally afford it. Her mom is going to freak I’m sure. Her being all against youngsters getting married and living in small towns forever. Renee will also not be too surprised b/c she has seen the way they look and act around each other. All in all I believe the parents will accept it after much persuasion and after they try to convince their daughter to run!
I am fairly sure that the Wedding will be interupted, but I really hope it doesn’t. Bella is already strung out over this whole wedding fiasco and to have it ruined would put her over the edge. But if I had to guess, I would say that the Volturi will crash the party. But I imagine that Alic will forsee it ofcourse and they will make minor adjustments accordingly…like biting Bella!!! I would love that!!!

I think because of Edwards ability to read minds he will know exactly what to say to gently break the news to Charlie. But I feel that Charlie and Rene have been silently preparing themselves for this. I think that Charlie will be disappointed that Bella isn’t taking more time for herself. But Charlie knows what a bright woman Bella is and will understand that she is totally different from her mom and being married so young. I feel both parents will be worried that history might repeat itself with Bella. However Rene and Charlie are two fairly intuitive people and they see that Edward and Bella and a deeper love then they ever did. I think it will all go over ok. I am more worried about when Bella becomes a Vampire and isn’t around as much.
As far as the wedding goes. I think the Denali clan will be invited as guest on the Cullen side. Then a few members of the wolf pack may show up as well. Because the Denali clan is against what the wolf’s did to Laurent that a fight may be on the verge of breaking out. Jasper will have to play a key role in keeping everyone calm and relaxed so the wedding isn’t ruined and the human guests aren’t tipped off of monsters living in their home town.
Perhaps Jacob may imprint on a guest at the wedding…..I don’t know…I am jumping hoping that Jacob ends up happy in the end.
Edward, being the romantic, charming person that he is, will want to get Charlie’s blessing to marry Bella. He will do this not because he has to but because he will truly want Charlie to accept him and to convince Charlie of how much he loves Bella.
I don’t think that Jacob would do anything to hurt Bella by disrupting her wedding. I do think he will attend the wedding though. I have always imagined them getting married outside but given Edward’s “sun” issues I think maybe they will still get married outside…maybe at twilight:) I hope there is a big romantic wedding and that it doesn’t get ruined….maybe the Volturi could wait until after the honeymoon to cause problems.

I think Bella will find out Jake has run away and freak out(as we all know bella is good at)and tell them( them being the werewolfs and Edward maybe…I haven’t made up my mind that detail just yet) but they tell her jake can take care of himself and will return when he’s ready. So onthe day of the wedding Jake will show up at the ceromony(and tecnically he was invited,he got an invite,so he’s not crashing it)Bella will be really glad and relevied that he is back but I think he only came back to tell her he was leaving because he didn’t want her to worry.So I think she’ll try to convince him to stay and that her and the cullens will leave because this was his home and billy needs him.I think Jacob will tell her he’s mind and he’ll be just about to leave and she’ll run out of the reception to stop him and thats when the Voltri show up and….*evil laugh* what happens next is a different theory LOL

I think they will go together to tell Charlie. Especially because Edward is so “old fashioned” he probably wants to ask permission and reassure the man. I don’t think Charlie will yell and scream. I think he will probably get sad and feel defeated and maybe express disappointment in her choice of groom. For Charlie the bottom line will be Bella’s happiness and he will quietly concede.
They won’t be able to find Renee to tell her. Renee will be shocked when she opens her invitation three weeks after the wedding (because she was too busy with her boy toy husband) and send Bella a lame e-mail with a lame excuse as to why she missed the big event in her only daughters life.
I don’t think anyone is going to interrupt the wedding (wishful thinking?) but….if it were to occur my bet is on Billy Black looming quietly in his wheel chair in the back of the room.

First Question:
I think Edward and Bella will go together because Edward already knows there will be a blow up because that would be Charlie’s personality. I think if Edward didn’t go with Bella he would feel horrible.
I think Charlie will blow up completely. But after a day or so he’ll say he was sorry because he would like to have her happy and will try to be happy for them.
Renee will either be worst then Charlie or estatic. I think Renee’s personality could go any way. For 1.) when Bella got hurt in Twilight, Renee kept looking over at Edward in a “I don’t like you” type of way. However, in “Esclipse” she was able to see how deep their relationship was…already having a clue that this might happen…so she would have more time to pre-pair for that news if it lead to that.
Angela will be very supportive…Jessica will just talk to everyone in town…Mike, Eric and Tyler will be a little mad…and we already know how Jacob reacts.
Second Question:
I don’t think someone will interrupt the wedding. I mean I believe Jacob will be there. And when the priest gets to the “If anyone objects, please speak now or forever hold your piece” part Jacob will be fighting with himself but comes to the conclusion to not say anything because he wants Bella to be happy.
I also think the Volturi will come at somepoint into the book but not during the wedding. I think they will show up later in the book causeing havick.
I think because i don’t think Bella could go throught that alone becasue Charlie sort of has a temper about things like that and that he doesn’t like Edward that much for what he did to Bella. And if anybody owuld ruin there wedding it would be Jacob because he would come to the wedding and then Bella would go crazy because she didn’t want him to come; but Edward invited him anyways.
YES!!!! i think Edward will go with Bella (which could be VERY dangerous!) i think that since Bella is so young and it will cause a problem between her and Charlie to the point where it is questionable weather or not he will be in the wedding but in the end he will show open and tell Bella hes happy for her.

No, no one will interrupt the wedding. I expect that the first chapter will leave you with a cliffhanger at the end (maybe the wedding night!?) just to keep the suspense continued for the book release. And then there will be something. Jacob could come to the wedding but I don’t think it will be to ruin it, maybe he will dance with her at the reception. Volturi will be the climax 2/3’s in!!
Okay Second question. I think that someone will crash the wedding. I have 2 theories, 1. Jacob wil come with the wolf pack. I think his jealousy and his love for Bella will eat at him on the inside and end up making him do something to that extent. Charlie already thinks there is something suspicious going on between the wolves and Billy becoause of what happens in Eclipse. I think that it might be interesting if Charlie puts 2 and 2 together and figures out what is going on. 2. I don’t like this but the Volturi coming and crashing the wedding. Everyone has this idea that they will - or they wont because of there rules. I think that there is something dark there. Something Stephenie is saving for New Moon. Edward saw Aro’s ideas, the past and present, and he knows that Bella will be special also. Another person to watch out for is Jane. I think jealousy and hatred are eating her alive. She was Aros angel and he gave her all the praise and now Bella has come in the picture and Aro says he hasnt seen that much potential since jane. It says she looks furious about that and i wonder with Janes influence that she will come and try to destroy Bella. I also think that when they come. Someone will die. They will be thirsty and lose control. I hate to say it but maybe Charlie or Angela. I REALLY hate to say that but it could definitely be possible.

Okay sorry when i said New Moon on my last post I meant Breaking Dawn. I was still thinking of that last theory. Sorry if I confused anyone!!!
Okay, so for the first question I think that Bella and Edward will defiantly go together because in the end of Eclipse Bella says let’s go tell Charlie or something along those lines. I also don’t believe that that is something that Edward would make Bella do on her own. I believe that Charlie will probably be hysterical but when it comes down to it i believe he will still come to the wedding and support Bella. And when I think of Charlie walking her down the ile at the wedding I see two really uncomfortable people (considering they both don’t like large crowds). Haha. And I think like Charlie, Renee will not approve but will be happy for Bella all the same.
I believe that the wedding will probably be interrupted because it would cause lots of drama and just make the book luscious.
I also have a theory that me and a couple of my friends were talking about. Since Jacob leaves in the end of Eclipse I believe he will come back and I also theorize that the pain Bella put him trough will mature him and when he comes back he will accept his position as alpha wolf in the pack (Considering not being with Bella was the only reason he didn’t like being a wolf). This theory would also cause a lot of drama if there turns out to be a fight against the werewolves and vampires.
I also am hoping that something happens to Bella such as the Volturi put more pressure on Bella to change into a vampire (and they say if she doesn’t change then they will kill her) so that there is not as much pressure put on Edward and rather then him feeling as if he is taking her life he will feel more like he is saving her from death.
I don’t mean to end on an alarming note but i have to ask this question. What if through all these problems put forth throughout the last 3 books Edward finally changes Bella and then during the fight against the werewolves (which i don’t know will happen it’s just a theory) Edward dies!? Wouldn’t that just be awful?! But then they would really fit the title of ’star crossed lovers’ because Bella would probably kill herself. But then i think that maybe Bella wouldn’t commit suicide. Because I don’t think the Cullens would let her, i mean if you think about it their son pretty much sacrificed his life for her, not that the Cullens could really stop her from committing suicide if she really wanted to especially since she’d be so strong since she’d be a newborn.

Yea there going to go together edward is very old fashion(1918) and he thinks that it is the right thing to do. Bella however (knowing charlie) will be more hesitant and will really need some convincing from Edward. Rene will be happy for Bella but im sure that she is hesitant just because she dosent know about Edwards secret and her judgment is clouded by her past with charlie. I think Charlie would have an aneurysm. Maybe he’d try to ground her (let’s see how well that goes), and I bet he’d try to get her to wait and try to make a deal with her to wait til after college. Edward would love that, I bet. I think Charlie would just be in pure shock, but I bet when they actually start planning things he’d probably pull himself together. But not willingly. I don’t think the Volturi would crash it, since they like to remain inconspicuous. They only show themselves to people they’re about to eat, and I don’t think they’re that interested in massacring the unsuspecting townsfolk. I doubt they’d know about the wedding, unless they sent in a ninja vampire to do some sleuthing, but the Cullens would know if they tried that. They’d probably just pop in at random.

I think that Bella will go into the house with Edward, and Charlie will immediately sense the ‘awkward moment’. I think he will have an idea about what is about to happen. When Bella tells him the news, he will try to talk her out of it, but will only hint it because Edward is there. Once Edward leaves, Charlie will freak out and keep telling Bella he thinks she’s going too fast, and that she needs to reconsider. Of course he will mention how he was hurt by making that decision, and wants to save her from that pain. Naturally, Rene will tell Bella the same thing (about reconsidering). Since she said she was worried about her and Edward (Edward was shifting when she was). Bella will continue to tell Rene that this is what she wants, and she is sure of it.
As for the Second question, I think that if anyone were to intrude on the wedding it would be the Volturi, Jacob as a werewolf (possibly with the ‘gang’) or Rosalie. The reason I say Rosalie is because she really wants Bella to keep what she has, and not have to go through what she went through. I do really like Rosalie, but there is something I’m not so sure about. She desperately wanted to have a nice family and have children, but that was taken away from her. She knows that if Bella marries Edward, no doubt she will be turned into a vampire, and have all the chances of having children taken away from her. Now, the reasons for the Volturi interrupting would be to find out if Bella is a vampire yet. Jacob is such a sweetie (yes, Kassie, I said it) but he doesn’t think before his actions. He loves Bella so much that he might just burst in, ruining it for her. But Jacob is so unpredictable, that you can just never tell.

Yes. I also think that Jasper needs to be in the same room as Charlie… because he will probably be a major spazz when he finds out. Then Jasper could ‘calm’ him and everything could be fine. As for someone crashing the wedding, I think that it will be fine… but then someone could drop a bomb and Edward would have to hold it up with his super-coolness. I honestly think Renee will react moreso on the fact that her daughter is getting married at such a young age. Understandable, looking at her and Charlie’s relationship. She’ll be more internally hurt I think, thinking she raised her better than that. Eventually she’ll accept it, she hasn’t been around her for a year, and she’ll survived with the distraction of Phil.. I’m sure Phil can distract her from this. It would be interesting if she became supermom and helped Alice plan the wedding.. Maybe a little out of character, but interesting nevertheless.
Charlie I think will be more physically angry.. not in a going to rip Edward to shreds anger, but the whole shaking, yelling manner. After I think he’d be a bit depressed seeing as she wouldn’t be there at home anymore to take care of him. I don’t know if he could get over it. He was peeved for months on that fact that Bella even took Edward back after he left her. This is big. I know he’d still love her.. but I think he’ll be left heartbroken.
Alright as for an interruption at the wedding.. I think that’s what everyone is expecting. I don’t think Stephenie Meyer will write that though. It’s too open. Too many vampires around. I think it’ll be after the wedding during the honeymoon. Everyone will be secluded and split up, being easier targets. That is, if there was a plan to attack, and that’s exactly what I think the Volturi would do if they wanted to “check up” on the Cullen family. It makes a lot more sense. Bella won’t be a vampire yet, because she wants to experience them being together as a human before she’s turned. Chaos makes a great plot!

Ok now with question one:
I think that Bella and Edward are going to tell Charlie together. It just seems the right thing to do it. Edward is old fashioned and probably will ask Charlie for Bella hand in marriage. He most likely them try to convince them that they are two young (unknowing of the fact that Edward is 180 years old).To wait till there older and out of college. Also another reason is because his fear of Bella getting hurt again and if something may wrong in the future. After seeing the state that Bella was when Edward left her he would not want that to happen again. He does not want her to go through the same disappointment that he went through with Renee when she left him. They were both young at the time and did not really know what they were getting into. Also if it happened again (which mostly never will for the fact that he does not know the whole truth) to see Bella life less once more would break his heart. He will never truly forget and forgive Edward for the pain he caused her. Also will he blow a gasket, but would get over it to respect Bella wishes. As for Renee, Bella would end up calling her and telling her the news on what will go down soon. She will also take bad. She does not want her daughter to go through what she did. Her mind I believe she would think that the whole life story was repeating again that’s one thing she does not what to happen.
Second question:
I had a bit of an idea this kind goes with Charlie reaction as well. One thing he may do talk to Jacob and try to convince Bella out of it. Thus turning to the day of the wedding when Jake comes to steal Bella or stop the wedding from happing. Thus causing tears from Bella and making her think twice on if this is what she really wants. Even tho being an Edward lover I think Bella may get cold feet. And go with him (I really don’t want that to happen) later on returning to Edward. Jacob will hopefully not turn up at all but you never know. I doubt the Volturi will come they won’t do anything that could accidently lead to people finding out the truth.
1. In my opinion I think that Edward will go with Bella to tell the parents because it is one of the times that they need to be together or else Charlie and Renee might not believe that their daughter really is getting married. I think just the typical reaction from Charlie is going to be he doesn’t talk to Bella for a while (which might be good considering the whole becoming a vampire thing that will be happening soon). But it might be blown up way more from Charlie because he hates Edward for leaving her the first time. He probably thinks that if Edward left her once, what’s going to stop him from leaving her again. I know my dad would probably kill me if I got married at Bella’s age, and would hate any guy I date really.
I don’t really know what Renee’s reaction will be like, shock maybe from the way Bella seems to be following her example of marrying young, like she did with Charlie. I agree with Kallie that Renee will probably think that something else happened rather than a marriage proposal, aka Charlie I’m pregnant although that could never happen, which I think is sad.
2. Oh the interruption, well I believe that two people will invade the wedding. Of course Jacob being one, because he always ends up showing up at the wrong time in the wrong place. He will probably be all like ” Bella I don’t want you to marry him. Don’t become a Bloodsucker like the rest of them.” Though he would probably never say that out loud. Bella would probably see him and tell Edward she would be right back or have seconds thoughts about the marriage with Edward.
I also believe that the Volturi will definitely be showing up for the wedding. Maybe not during the service, but they will be watching it from afar, like planning how they were going to make themselves known. And if Jacob is there, Alice won’t be able to see when they decide to actually check up on Edward and Bella. I really can’t say what I think Jacob will do if that happens and he is there, the whole idea I have for the wedding crashers are Volturi show up after Jacob is there, the Cullen’s are taken off guard, someone sacrifices themselves for Bella.

ok, i really hope that this dosn’t happen, but i have a horrible feeling that bella will need to play the move out card on charlie when they (as in they will both go to tell him) tell him they are engaged and that she will actually move in with the cullens before the wedding and bella will feel horrible about it but there will be nothing she can do because i think that the volturi will crash the wedding and then edward will have to turn bella and she won’t get a chance to make things up with charlie. i know it sounds horrible but i think it might happen since she has tried to play the move out card on several occasions and it worked but this isn’t as simple as the other times and it means a lot more to her than going to jacksonville.

Renee will be sooo surprise since, Bella has always had the consept that getting married at a so young age is kind of stupind and that intelligent people don’t do that, but Renee is always going to support her and she knows that Bella will be happy with Edward, as we have seen in Eclipse were her mom tells her that Edward is madly in LOVE with here and tha he looks like he would die for her. As for the interruptin of the wedding, I really don’t think there will be one, there may be problems at the very beganing with Jacob and the Volturies but I really don’t think they will do that. I really don’t imagine that, NOW I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE BOOK I AM DYING TO READ IT!!!!!

So here is what I’m thinking…
In reguards to question 1, Bella and Edward are definately going to tell Charlie together. At least that’s the direction she was headed in at the end of Eclipse. Besides I don’t see Edward letting Bella face this alone, they’re in this together. Also, Edward could come in handy with his mind reading abilities, he can pretty much control the direction of conversation by knowing what Charlie is thinking. Now I really think Charlie’s reaction would be like most fathers who have an 18 year old daughter who wants to get married straight out of high school. I think if anything that would keep him from coming around it would be knowing how badly Edward had hurt his daughter. All may be be forgiven by Bella and as a father he may forgive Edward for Bella’s sake but he will never forget the way she was effected and how crushed she was. But like many of the others have said Charlie’s reaction probably won’t matter because she’s gonna do what she wants anyway. I couldn’t really theorize about Renee’s reaction I’m guessing she won’t be happy mostly because of the issues she had with her first marriage.
Ok on to question 2! Ah yeah the wheels are spinning now!! Hopefully this makes some sense. I’m not so sure about the wedding being interrupted. I’m more for the idea of it being postponed because of the (dum dum dum)…Volturi. I know I know hear me out first. I think the Volturi might decide to make a trip back to Forks and Alice will see it which in turn will postpone the wedding taking care of the whole fear of vampire exposure thing. My reason for The Volturi coming back is because they feel The Cullen family is more powerful than they realize maybe they feel threatened and they want to find a way to fix this problem before it actually turns into one. I get this idea because in Eclipse, Jane is impressed by the way The Cullens took care of the newborns and Victoria (even though they had help from Jacob and his crew but shhh she doesnt need to know that) but she also says “We’re not used to being rendered unnecessary” So I think maybe they’ll come up with a plan to get some of the Cullens to be a part of their little group as well as Bella so that they can keep their power status among the vampire community. Then hopefully good will conqure evil and everyone will live happily ever after…Tada!

I will have to say of course he will. If you remember at the end of Eclipse Bella stated that it what time to go tell Charlie about the wedding. My bet is that Edward feels that he needs to be there when she tells Charlie because I am guessing Charlie will not be pleased with this news. Edward will be there to help Bella through what I am guessing will be a very difficult conversation. He will be there to protect and defend their decision. I am don’t know if he will be there when Bella tells Renee because that relationship is very different. I think that conversation will be left between Bella and Renee.
I am pretty positive that the wedding will be interrupted. By who now that is the question. I think they are so many possibilities of who could be the one who would object. The most obvious one is Jacob, but I have more of a feeling that it would be someone who no one suspects maybe Renee or Charlie. Those two will want to keep Bella from making a mistake that they once did. Even though Charlie may not view his marriage to Renee as a mistake, but he doesn’t want her to go through that pain of divorce. The same goes for Renee, she wants to protect Bella. I even suspect that Rosalie might be the one to interrupt, just because she thinks that Bella is making a mistake becoming a Vampire, and the marriage will be sealing the deal in that aspect. Rosalie doesn’t want to see Edward unhappy but she doesn’t want Bella to make this commitment and not be able to take it back.

even though i want to speculate about charlie/renee’s reaction to the engagement and what the wedding will play out, I want to wait and read those scenes like stephenie meyer intends for them to happen. Also, can’t help but laugh at the couple’s name, as it is obvious that they are moving forward in their relationship to use their bed for… other purposes. haha, can’t wait to listen to this podcast, which will prolly the best on ein your couple series IMO.
Alrighty, #1 Yes, you pretty much know that they are together to tell Charlie because thats what they’re getting ready to do at the end of Eclipse and I can’t see why he wouldn’t be with her for someting so important.
I am thinking that Charlie will react more calmly than most think.considering Charlie asks her to give him a heads up because he feels like he’s going to lose her soon and he knows it will be to Edward (Charlie isn’t as oblivious as some might think.). Also the way Charlie refers to Edward caring about Jacob like he was a brother after jacob gets hurt makes one think that Charlie is begining to accept Edward again.
I also think Renee will flip out after she finds out(Im thinking Bella will call her after they tell Charlie)but after a long talk Renee will accept it.
#2 Ah, yes the wedding.
I hope Stephanie will let the wedding happen uninterrupted(except for maybe a Bella stumble) and it will be one of the most beautiful parts of the book that will make us tear up everytime we read it. We have to let Edward and Bella have this moment.
I’m sure there will be a little more juicy drama when it comes to Edward and Bells “Trying”. Maybe it goes wrong and Edward mortally wounds her and he has to change her at that moment.
I think that Bella is going to become very powerful after she is changed because she is the only person that Edward, Aro and jane cannot use their mind powers on which makes me think shes very special and changing her is going to bring out something maybe good or bad. The voultri might swoop in and maybe kidnap her and then thats when Jacob returns and then who knows.
Just throwing that out there. Hope it makes sense.

I think Bella is going to make him go with to talk to her parents about the wedding. I don’t think her parents are going to take it well though. Charlie’s reaction may be less volatile than Renee’s, however I don’t think he’s going to take it very well. He doesn’t like Edward and doesn’t make it secret. Especially since Edward can hear what Charlie is really thinking. Renee would probably be very angry with Bella, because she’s given the impression that marriage before thirty is bad. She’ll probably try to change Bella’s mind.
I’m still debating on whether the wedding will be interrupted and by who. I think everyone thinks Jake will because of his love for Bella, but I think, or rather hoping, that he has more love/respect for her than to interrupt her on her wedding day.
Of course I hope that they are going to tell them about the engagement together, that was the end of Eclipse and I really hope that Stephenie Meyer let’s us see what happens instead of just starting the book a few weeks later like I think could be a possibility.
IF we get to see what happens then Edward and Bella are going to go to Charlie and tell him and he will probably be too stunned to say anything at first, I can just see a vein popping out of his head haha, then he will start yelling. Edward, being able to know Charlie’s concerns and all, will be able to answer all of his concerns before Charlie even opens his mouth to state them and then he’ll run out of things to shout except how she just shouldn’t do that! But I’m sure that after a bit he will give his blessing.
The thing is…how are they going to tell Renee? Renee will attomatically flip out because she is the one who left Forks so many years ago with Bella in tow to escape the small town and her ill fated marriage. I think that the news will have to come over the phone because they already visited Renee in Eclipse.
And I think it would be incredibly predictable (if we don’t see him anywhere else in the book before the wedding) for Jacob to be the one to interrupt. If it gets really close to the wedding than it is pretty sure that this is going to happen haha

Okay so i have a feeling that i am the ONLY guy that has even read the series but oh well it had great characterization. First off I dont even think i need to answer the fact that Edward and Bella will talk to Charlie together, BUT I think that Charlie will suprise us all by accepting Bella and Edward getting married without putting up any bit of a fight. He said himself that Edward is really good at looking out for her safety.
About something to crash the wedding or cause drama with it i dont think that is going to happen. Stephenie Meyer would want the begining of the book to be light hearted and happy. If the Wolves or the Volturi attacked it wouldnt flow with the story line anyways… We have had those problems somewhat resolved.
I think what we all forgot about was what is going on up in Alaska thanks to Laurent.. The real question is will That family come and attack the werewolf pack before during or after the wedding and how will the Cullens react to this and will Jacob be anywhere near La Push to make this a problem?
I just wanted to mention quick that i think the wedding will probubally be a small part of the books storyline and that it wont truly lead to any plot twists or drama or anything like that. I am a tragedian myself and i enjoy the thought of this series being a tragedy and if it is then there has to be a point where you think it is all going to work out aka the wedding..

I think that Bella and Edward will go together to talk to Charlie about the wedding. The last chapter featuring Edward and Bella (before Jacob’s epilogue) in Eclipse alludes to that… Bella says it’s time to tell Charlie. I think they might have headed straight to Charlie that afternoon and broke the news together. As for Renee, I think Bella (or maybe an irate Charlie?) will call her and tell her that way. I can’t imagine them flying back to FL to break the news… it would sort of interrupt the flow of the story.
As for whether someone will interrupt the wedding… I don’t think the Volturi will, and I hope Jacob has realized by now that it’s not worth causing Bella any more grief. But, perhaps Tanya will show up. Do we really know the extent of her relationship with Edward, when he was in Denali? Edward was pretty evasive about that when Bella asked. Though he claimed that he didn’t have feelings for HER, perhaps she is in love with him. It felt like Edward was keeping something from Bella. What if Tanya showed up…hmm.
Another thought….can’t you see Edward being an old fashioned gentleman and “asking” Charlie for permission to marry Bella before they make it official to the public? I know that Edward has already asked Bella to marry him, but I can see Edward trying to be respectful towards Charlie and/or Renee, since that’s just how he rolls.
That would take a brave person, but he IS brave.
I think Edward will go with Bella to support her. Plus, he can read Charlie’s mind and be able to control the situation before it gets out of hand. It would be nice if Jasper could hide somewhere and manipulate Charlie’s emotions after hearing that his only daughter is going to be married at 18.
I do believe someone or something is going to interrupt the wedding. Even though Stephenie likes happy endings, she is going to complicate things a little. I have a feeling that Jacob is going to see Bella before the wedding somehow. I think he is going to try and convince her not to marry Edward and ask her to run away with him even though she will say no. Of course he couldn’t get past Alice or Edward so his plan would be foiled but I’m sure he’s persistent enough to find a way.
I also think that the Volturi might interfere somehow and try to maybe change Bella by kidnapping her and taking her back to Volterra. Then maybe Jake will try to stop them and get killed in the process. So at least he dies nobly…
I agree with the idea that Edward will ask Charlie for his permission. It’s so something Edward would do. So maybe Edward would be the one to tell Charlie even though it would mean more coming from Bella.
I just wanted to say that this is the first podcast I’ve ever listened to, and I have to say it is fabulos! I agree with Kassie most of the time. Now here’s my answers to the questions. I think that both Edward and Bella will tell Charlie, but I don’t think that Bella or Edward will tell Renee. I think Charlie will tell her about the wedding. I don’t think that Charlie will be suprised about her marrying Edward, but I don’t think he will be happy at all because he is still sort of upset with Edward for hurting Bella. Now here’s my answer to the second question. I think that either Jacob or the Volturi will interupt their wedding. When you guys talked about “A Midsummer Nights Dream”, it made me upset because I absolutely hate Jella with a passion, but I can also see that happenning even thought I don’t want that to happen. I’m sure that a lot of things will happen that I don’t want to happen. As long as Bella is with Edward and Alice survives, I will be okay.
Well, at the end of Eclipse Bella told Edward to get out the ring so they could tell Charlie, so I’m pretty sure that’s gonna happen and along with that a phone call will be made to Renee to tell her the good news, but for Charlie’s reaction I’m know most of us can see him throwing a huge fit over over it and blowing everything out of proportion. But I think he would be more sad at the fact and not really put his whole opinion out because I would think he would revert back to how he and Renee got married so young and split up. He might not want to bring up his personal experience to his memory and so he might just stay quite on the subject, but Bella (and ofcourse Edward) could probably sense the reason why Charlie wouldn’t speak up. And i could see Renee being the one blowing the whole thing out of proportion but somehow she would be happy about the wedding at the same time(because I think she’s the type of person who would see everything in a good way no matter what).
And I know it kind of seems obvious that someone might crash the wedding, but I honestly don’t see it happening. Jacob was invited by Edward to come after all, and the Volturi wouldn’t make a big scene at the wedding when humans are present. I do, however see the Volturi, possibly, showing up once the wedding is finally over, or at least after Bella and Edward finally “unite” in bed, (because Stephanie is awsome with plot line and is a very kind person) or they may even show up after Bella is a vampire and try to start a fight somehow.

Q1: Omg haha this is funny. Okay, yes I think Bella and Edward will tell Bella’s parents about the wedding and of course I believe Charlie will flip way out of proportions. They will all get into a huge fight and it will come down to Bella dying and Edward saving her. It will have a happy ending though!
Bella will probably try to hold off telling ehr parents as long as possible. She was reluctant in the first place. The reason for that probably being her parents, having married young and it not working out at all. Plus she knows that Charlie is still mad and Edward for leaving and putting ehr though an experience similar to torture. Edward has always wanted to do the right and proper thing, which will proabbly be the case here.
One of my friends thinks that Bella will mess everyhting up again becuase she over thinks everyhting and will want Jacob to be at the wedding because he is her sunshine and best friend. But she also thinks that Jacob will imprint while he is away and his affections towards Bella will be dilluted. The most likely to interrupt would be the Volturi, but why would they when they want Bella to turn and know that they are getting married first. they would most likey show up after to check in, especially since they know something that Alice saw in the future concerning Bella, more likely the poiwer she will obtain once becoming a vampire.
Right now there are too many possibilities and variable to make an accurate prediction and no one knows which path will be taken or which twist Stephenie Meyer will throw at us.

I think that getting married is a choice that is made by wife and husbon. Not just wife, therefore i do think they will go talk together about them getting married.
At this point i don’t think anyone will crash the wedding, just because this is supossed to be a really important time for both of them and edward has been waiting for this for one-hundred and ninety years so i don’t think Stephenie will want any interuptions.
Although if the Volturi does come alice will see that and change the date to the wedding. And i don’t think jacob can crash cause technically he got invited.
I also think that charlie saw this coming. Or think that reason they are getting married is because he thinks bella is preganant.
Somehow I just can’t see this conversation between Bella Edward and her parents playing out in the novel. I don’t think it’s going to be included in the book. I have a feeling the 4th book is just going to jump right in with this conversation having already passed in the alternate twilight universe. so there might be mention of charlie being angry and renee being a bit upset. but i don’t think there will be a huge blow out scene.
I also have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that the wedding isn’t going to happen… like at all. (but i sooooo want it to) so no wedding crashers. it would just make the ending too perfect, too anti-climatic (i don’t want a harry potter let down again). i’m kind of thinking a tuck everlasting scenerio might play out. but who knows….

But she has seen the way that Bella and Edward are together and she knows that Edward loves Bella…..so I’m really torn on how she is going to react. Who knows she may just smile and say great and then later ask Bella when she’s alone or over email if she is sure she is making the right decision. I haven’t really seen enough of Renee to decide how she would act.

I think Bella and Edward will try really hard to include Bella’s parents in the wedding. There will of coarse be some things that they are kept in te dark about but once Renee and Charley know about the wedding, it will be hard to keep them out.
Wedding “Guests”: I really think that the Volturi will come to the wedding. They won’t crash it because, I don’t know about you, but that kinda seems like exposing the vampires to me. Insteed, I think that they will quietly sit down on the groom side and say that they are old friends of Carisle’s and that he invited them. This might cause a reception getaway for the newlyweds…

1. I think Edward and Bella will tell Charlie together. I think he will be upset, but resigned - he is already expecting her to leave with Edward. I think Bella will tell Renee on the phone, and Renee will freak out.
2. I don’t think Jacob will interrupt the wedding. I really feel like Jacob has got it through his thick head that Bella has chosen Edward. I do think it is possible that something will cause conflict with the wedding - upcoming danger from the volturi? *but* I am wondering if Bella and Edward will have an alternate spur of the moment very intimate wedding (maybe Emmitt got his minister license online - that would be so funny) instead of (or before) the ceremony that Alice has planned.
I think that we will find out Charlie and Renee’s reaction.

I think that both Edward and Bella will go talk to her parents. Edward seems very tradition so, I can see him talking to Charlie. Bella’s mom will be happy considering she hasn’t really see what is happening in Forks. So, she just wants Bella happy. Charlie will be more unwilling to accept the marriage however, he also wants Bella to be happy.

As for Charlie’s reaction, though he is obviously not going to be happy about the engagement, I believe he has come to realize that Bella and Edward are a “package deal” (as she refers to them). Charlie will not want to lose Bella and eventually he will accept her decision. I would guess that Bella getting married at this age is something that has not even entered Renee’s mind - she is much more accustomed to the responsible, sensible, mature Bella who has always looked after her. In Renee’s eyes, marriage at this age is neither responsible, mature nor sensible.

As for the actual ceremony, I think it is entirely within the realm of possibility that it will be interrupted by “wedding crasher,” but I am not convinced that this will actually happen. First, if the Volturi were to show up at the ceremony, I do not know how their presence would be explained to Charlie, Renee, and Phil. Though I guess it is possible for the Volturi to be distant relations or friends of the Cullens, I like to think that their red eyes and unusual appearance (at least in regards to Aro, Caius, and Marcus) would be enough to arouse suspicion in anyone.
