Question of the Week ~ Bella’s Super ‘Powah’!

Let’s get down to business! We want to know what you think Bella’s Super Power will be! But, we don’t want to get too ahead of ourselves, so here is the FULL Question of the Week…
Who will bite Bella? Where do you think Bella will be bitten (on her body)? And, what will be Bella’s Super ‘Powah’ when she is changed?

She will get bitten by Edward (duhhh), on the neck of course since that is where he likes to kiss her and it is a main artery.
Now her powah. . .. ummmmm. . . thats difficult!
Well i do think that since she doesnt like human blood in her human state that she will absolutely HATE it when she is a vampire. So when she is a newborn she wont be like on crack. Now her power has to do with something like she can take away ppls powers if she wants, or like she can use someone elses powers. But i really have no idea so i guess we will just have to wait and see!!!

I believe that Edward will bite her. I also believe tha the will bite her on her neck, seeing as that is where he always kisses her. My freind and I were having a dicussion about what Bella will be like once she is turned into a vampire. My freind said that she didn’t think that Bella will have “powahs”, but will still have certain human traits. My freind believes that since Bella is different than other humans, in the way that Edward cannot read her thoughts, she might keep some of her human characteristics. One trait that I think Bella might keep, and it would be incredibly sweet if she did, is her beating pulse. Not necessarliy a full-functioning heart, but the continuous beating. Plus, the rapidity of her pulse whenever Edward kisses her. I think Edward would like that. I think it would also be cool if Bell akept the blush that Edward adores.
I think that it will be one of the Cullens that bites Bella, but I think it might be under some serious circumstances. Like…the wedding is going on and the Volturi come in to pay a visit, they see the werewolves and are not so happy.In the end theres a fight and Bella is severely hurt and has to be bitten or she will die. I’m hoping that her power is to turn vampires mortal so that she and edward can be human together!(but thats just a dream). I have absolutely no idea where she will be bitten.
I think that it will be Edward who bites Bella. I think this because this is the plan, and I’m pretty sure it is set in stone right after the wedding, and the “laundry” etc. Though we all know that Edward does not want to, I think that he loves Bella too much to not grant her wishes, and not let his “selfish lion” — as he puts it — get in the way of his own wishes to stay with her, and her to stay with him forever.
As for Bella’s super “powah’s”, I believe that her descriptive dreaming will stay with her, however, since she would be a vampire, vampires cannot sleep, therefore cannot dream. Although, beings that in her more vibrant dreams — Jacob being a werewolf, and Edward’s vamp-ness etc. — I believe that her “powah” will be similar to Alice’s in the fact of seeing the future. However, also, like Alice, I don’t think it will be very clear. I think that she would see things that are clues to what could possibly happen in her future as her dreams state clearly. Perhaps she could go into those phases as Alice does when she is “daydreaming”, but really see clues to what the future holds.
1) I think that Edward will be the one to bite Bella (though that could just be my desperate wishful thinking/hopeless romanticism) and it could possibly be in a life or death situation (which is also a bit of wishful thinking on my part because it would alleviate some of the guilt that Edward may have about changing her).
2) I think he will bite on her the neck because that’s where the jugular vein runs which sends blood to the heart and is in fairly close proximity to it. Also, in Twilight it’s mentioned that the transformation is easier when the blood is weak, and the jugular vein carries deoxygenated blood to the heart which could be considered “weak”. I think that Edward will have consulted Carlisle on the matter of Bella’s transformation in advance to try to form a plan to make it as easy as possible for her, especially since he mentions pumping her full of morphine to ease the pain. I have no clue…I’m rambling now. I was just trying to think this through in a logical way.
3) Hmmm…Bella’s super “powah”? I think she will definitely maintain her mind’s resistance to other powers like Jane’s but I also think that maybe she will be able to turn the powers of others’ against them- but only those vampires whose powers affect the mind.
ok well i think that edward will bite bella. Personally i think that she will get bitten on the arm or the leg because if the venom is injected too close to the heart she could die. But then again i believe that that is what Stephanie Meyer is talking about in the preface. as to what her super powah will be i have a couple of theories. first i think that because of her closed off mind that she will be able to not only protect her mind from other powers but to be able to take their power and use it against them like peter from heroes. my other theory is that (even though it probably wont happen but is still pretty cool) she would be able to manipulate other vamipers powers by turning them off or just put them out of wack.
I personally think that she will be bitten by Alice. Say that Edward does not stay true to his word, I would think she would go to Alice instead of Carlisle because she likes her second best from Edward. As for where she will be bitten i think it would make sense to bite her where James had previosly bitten her so that way she would only have one scar. Now onto her power. I either think she will be able to sense danger or the enemies, I think this because she so easily attracted a vampire and a werewolf who (to normal people) would think as dangerous. The other power could be that she would be so powerful with her mind that she could remember everthing and anything. For instense, her birth. I think that her mind would be so improved that she will be able to use all of her memory and unlock other things that we mortals cant. Also remember that we as humans only use a specific percent of our brain in our lifetime. I think she will unlock the full capability. Well thanks for listening! Love the show! Well, I am FINALLY able to listen to your podcasts and just wanted to let you know that I LOVE THEM!!!
Okay, I think Edward will bite her of course, and it will be painful (remember James’ bite). I think of course it’ll be a generic bite on her neck; although, I think a bite on her wrist would be so much more romantic.
Her superpower: hmm, as a human, she’s VERY perceptive. She observes the minute details of eyes, inflections, movements, etc… She has a very good problem solving mind, which usually comes through in her dreams. According to Alice, Bella’s safe in her own mind. No one can hurt her there. She’s clumsy, has an aversion to blood, is loyal, dedicated, and unwavering once her mind is made up.
I think she’ll be very powerful, more powerful than any of the others. Maybe her mind will be able to overpower any other. Jedi-mind-trick? haha. Or she could have the ability to protect. Not for sure on that one. She will not subsist on human blood. She will be the “Queen”. I also don’t think Jacob will have that natural aversion to her as a vampire.
Digression: I just listened to your Breaking Dawn cover theories, and I wanted to add to your thoughts on Millay’s quote at the beginning. Kassie as soon as you read that quote, I realized that childhood is the time when no one dies has two meanings: 1) she’ll be a vamp and won’t die, ever and 2) she’ll have to grow up (internally) because someone human is going to die. Unfortunately, I’m thinking it’ll be her mom or Charlie :(. I’m hoping to goodness it’s not Jacob ’cause if it is, I’d never forgive Stephenie.

It’s got to be Edward doing the biting. It seems as if he might lose control which could cause Carlise to step in and take over. I would say he bites her where he sucked out the venom the first time. Two reasons: one it would give the wound a whole new meaning, and two it would be a place he could control himself better.
Her powah will infact be… (pause for dramatic affect) being a bad ass. No sorry just kidding. I think it would be interesting if Bella’s power is she can’t really be a vampire. If the only thing that happens is she becomes immortal. No other worldly beauty or speed or uncontrollable thirst. What if she gets to be just Bella with Edward forever. Then in a way they both get what they want. I’ve been toying around with that idea for awhile, but I’m not sure how plausible it is.

I Think that Edward will be the one to bite Bella. Keeping with the romantic theme of the saga where the half , it should be him. It will be the final act that will bind them together for the rest of their existence, and what is more poetic than that? I also believe she will be bitten Where James had previously bitten her where the half moon scar is on her hand. Edward wouldn’t want to scar Bella any further since the only scars vampires have are those of the bite mark. Bella was shocked when Jasper revealed the scars he had so I am sure that Edward would not want to leave any more “damage” to her. Opening the scar that had almost lead to her immortality previously would bring the idea of her changing full circle.
If the one who does bite Bella is not Edward, I believe that it could be Rosalie. She is the most vocal of the Cullens to be against Bella being changed. If there was a moment in Breaking Dawn where it was a dire for Bella to be bitten or die, it would show a transformation in Rosalie to be more accepting of the idea. It will soften Bella’s view of Rosalie, and will finally bring them together to complete their family with no worries of further tension.
I have many theories (especially because I like to keep dreaming about what Breaking Dawn may have in store), but I’ll only share a couple of them.
The first theory is my most depressing theory. I think Bella may not become a vampire. Because she has been bitten before and has had venom in her body before, it acts like an immunity shot that, when she is bitten, will prevent the venom from affecting her blood stream. Just an idea. Don’t think it will happen… mostly because I don’t want it to.
My other theory is that Bella will turn into a vampire, of course. (What other option is there, right?) I think she 1) may not have an powers except those that are already present (which I hope isn’t the case) or 2) her ability to keep the vampires from connecting with her mind will be dramatized. Unlike others, I don’t think she will become more clutzy (because vampires just aren’t) nor do I think she will lose her ability to block out other vampires. However, it is possible that her power will be to prevent other vampires from using their powers on others.

maybe carslie if Edward is REALLY afraid of hurting Bella or being upset about being the reason she is in that pain for 3 day. Edward or carsile it would be to the neck. and i think her ‘Powah’ will be like Alice only backwards if that makes sense i think she will be able to see pasts of those close to her, Bella will go and see Edward as he is raised and see him in the stages of the influenza. This will bring E+B even closer(somehow).
I think Bella will be turned by Rosealie (sp) since she is the only one who doesn’t really want her to become a vampire. I also think it will be under very dramatic circumstance. As far as where she’ll be bitten, lets face it the neck is too cliche’ and Stephine’s vampires are anything but cliche’. If it’s Rose who bites her I feel it will be discreet and tasteful. No pun intended. I don’t even want to hazard a guess as to what her Supper powah might be, I kind of want to be surprised when I read it.
Ok- I have put lots of thought into this.
**I think Edward will bite Bella (too much has led up to this for it to be someone else).
**I think he will bite her on a place where the venom will reach her heart quickly, like a major artery. Her neck would work for this. He has mentioned this before along with possibly using morphine for the pain.
**I think that she will have an aversion to human blood. This is a super power because this has been one of her biggest fears- being a crazy, blood thristy newborn. She will be stronger than all the others because she can resist the blood. Stephenie wouldn’t have written about Bella’s aversion to blood if it didn’t have a signifigance.

I think Edward or maybe Esme will bite her (i want it to be Edward though) I am going to be tradtional and say her neck. Also I think maybe her power will some how parrell with Edwards….but I’m not exaclty sure how!
Ok, So I have a little different thought pattern than most of you, I believe. I have to say, I think there are two possibilities with Bella being changed. I think it will either be another vampire, meaning not of the cullens, who bites her, i think it will be another attack from an enemy ‘non vegetarian’ vampire. I think once it happens, Edward will just let it takes its course, or he’ll be too late to stop it. I think he’ll probably fight off whoever is attacking her, saving her from certain death. (once again saving her, but not her life)
This would be my ideal situation, so they could stay in forks, and not be ran off by the dogs.
OR
I think she won’t change. I think she’ll choose Jacob when he comes back, and choose to be a mortal, have children, have a family. Have a real life. Edward already said he would be ok with her choosing someone else. The only bad thing about that to me is, Edward said his life would end when hers did. That would mean that he would once again find away to ‘dispose’ of himself. I hate that Idea.
Ideally, I would love for Edward to become human again, and let them live out a normal life, but I know that isn’t possible. (Stephenie changed so many things about vampires, why oh why couldn’t that have been one of them?) I want Bella to stay with Edward, but only if Jacob is totally out of the picture. I have to say I am a Jacob hater, to the core. He has never been good in my eyes. I am the kind of woman who likes a protective man (far be it from my dear husband to be that way) and someone to look over her. She needs that, obviously. Jacob was reckless with her, where Edward did everything in his power to protect her.
As for Bella’s powers, I think it will have something to do with being able to resist anything, or being totally impenetrable. I think she’ll be invincible, I would love to see her as a queen. As the book cover shows, she was a small pawn (red for the blood that could still be spilled) changed into a marble white queen who was the opposing force to all. I think she’ll be all powerful. My only concern is ‘will she still want Edward?’ I know she has asked the question and he is confident she will, but I am not……..
i think that edward will bit bella on the hollow above her neck. this will most likely be at the end of the book, perhaps in the epilogue, so that the book still hasa big climax.
My theory to your question of the week is kinda out there, but I’d be so excited if it actually happened, haha.
I think after Bella’s and Edward’s honeymoon, the Volturi will show up in Forks to see if Bella has become a vampire yet. Despite the Cullens telling the Volturi that they are going to change Bella soon (like, the next day or something), the Volturi kidnap Bella and, sadly, one of the Volturi will bight her (most likely on the neck). When Bella wakes up after her three day transformation period, the Volturi explain to her that they kidnapped her so she could join them instead of the Cullens.
And as for her power…I just think that Bella will be able to control how others’ powers affect her (except for Edward’s, i’ll explain later). So if she wants to she can block Jasper’s ability to manipulate her emotions on her, even though she couldn’t do that as a human; but , if she wanted to, she can still allow Jasper to be able to manipulate her emotions. Also, I think that by marrying Edward Bella is letting herself become more open with him. Therefore, her mind is no longer immune from Edward’s power, and he can now read her mind and vice versa. In this way, Bella has an easier time escaping from the Volturi because their powers don’t affect her and Bella can easily communicate with the Cullens through Edward.

Personally, I hope that Edward is the one to bite Bella. That’s the whole reason for their marriage, and her waiting.
As far as her power, I came to the realization the other day….I believe she will be repulsed by human blood, that she will some how be immune to the smell, so the monster instincts that Edward is so opposed to Bella being exposed to will not even be a problem. Just a thought!

but something tells me (my gut instinct) says that it could be Rosalie, i think you might have already disscussed this but that sure would make it interesting! Becuase Rosalie would have to make this choice, maybe becuase Bella is hurt or is going to get killed, so Rosalie has to decide.
Does she change Bella and go against all that she has ever said to her
or does she not change her because that would be compleatly against what she believes in and risk loosing her brother as well if Bella dies?

i think that the chances are it is going to be somewere on the top of her body, i dout it would be like on her leg or somthing.
I think to go with tradition i think that bella should be bitten on her neck, but if there is some kind of emergency then it could be on her hand or arm.
But if you remember..in twilight at the end were edward pretends to get ready to bite her, he leans into her neck. I dont know weather that was just becuase he was acting but to me it makes sense to be bitten there.
but yet again my gut tells me that she could be bitten like on her chest just under her collar bone because i dont know why but i think it would be nice for Edward becuase he will beable to hear and feel her heart beat for the last time.

well i dont really have an idea that is different to everyone elses so i dont think i will comment on that one.
But i do believe her fear of blood will have no effect on her when she is changed
becuase there must have been lots of humans who were changed who didnt like blood and yet they dont have freakish powers that relate to that
but it might have sme effect on her wanting for blood as a newborn
maybe it wil not stop her craving compleatly but maybe it will not be as strong.

DUH! Of course EDWARD’s gonna bite her!!!!!!!!!!! They will be on the huge colossal bed, except Edward shipped it to Alaska. Edward wants her to have as much comfort as possible. But of course Edward and Carlisle would team up and get her royally high on pain meds first. Edward doesn’t know this, but Jacob followed them to Alaska and he’s a few miles off, where Edward can’t hear him. He runs to the house right after Edward bites her and a huge fight scene happens right before Bella’s pained, tear-full eyes. (Sorry for the detail. I’m a writer. =)) Her power will be acting like a human, being not so graceful or beautiful, because she described herself as average in Twilight.

I think Bella’s “powah” will be that she can turn off other vampires’ powers and their connections to her mind!!! I think the one exception will be Edward!! I think that is because Bella and Edward are so connected. They can give each other a simple look and know that is something wrong or right.

i think bella will be bitten on the place james bit her (her hand, don’t know which one) because i think edward will want to cover up anything that would remind him of james, victoria or even laurent.
i think bella’s SUPER POWAH will be the ability to protect anybody from the mind POWAHS including herself or the ability to resist human blood because of how it makes her feel now when she’s human. (it never says anything about how she feels about animal blood so who knows)
I think Bella will be bitten by Edward because of a life or death situation (almost dead, like the James situation) or by Jasper because of a life or death situation but Edward is too busy fighting another evil vampire to do it himself so he tells Jasper to. I think she’ll be bitten on the place that’s easiest to get to at that moment like maybe her wrist or arm or even the neck. Her “super powah” might be the ability to heal, since she wanted to heal herself when Edward left, or like to mediate (or heal conflicts) so she can bring the warewolves and vampires together at last.
Well I happen to agree with others that it will be edward who bites her. I don’t think stephenie would have it any other way. and I don’t think the circumstances in which he bites her will involve any danger. Since (in my opinion) this will be one (if not the) most important events in the book, I think stephenie will have it all go in the most perfect way. as for where he will bite her, I think it will be in several locations so the venom will work quickly and she won’t be in pain for so long. ie her neck & wrists. & I think her power will be possibly some kind of mental connection w/ edward, and since when your turned it enhances your abilities. I think it will enhance her clumsyness for her benefit. As in she might be faster, stronger & more agile than other vampires.
I hate to sound like im copying everyone, but I think it will be Edward that bits her, also. Although i do still think that the Volturi will interrupt the wedding, i dont think that they will force someone else to change her, and i dont think that they will make her change on her wedding day. I think that Edward will bite her on their honeymoon, so Charlie and Renee dont notice that she’s completely different looking. Either that, or he will change her right after they move away. I think Edward will bite Bella’s neck, or maybe right next to James’ bite mark, to show that Bella is his, and that he won, and James clearly lost. Bella’s super powah :] will have something to do with the strength of her mind. Like being able to block out all Vampire powahs, or being able to influence the decisions that other vampires are making. I also think she will be able to resist human blood more easily, being afraid of it as a human, and that she may not be as graceful as other vampires, since she’s so clumsy. But who knows, that could also go the other way, and when she changes, her body could be making up for what it lacked as a human.
Edward will bite her on the neck…I don’t have much creativity for that part, but…
For Bella’s power:
Bella has VERY intense dreams. Some say that she can even somewhat see the future in her dreams–but not like Alice. In her dreams she often makes sense of things that she doesn’t understand when she concious (in some cases it’s becuase she doesn’t WANT to understand).
As a highschool student I must now establish evidence to support my claim:
1. After Bella jumps off of the cliff in New Moon, she sees a flash of red/orange on the water, but she’s too tired and weak to think about it. Later, through seeing the “flame” in her dreams, she connects the color to Victoria, realizing that Victoria was dangerously close to both Jacob and Bella. Later, when Victoria raises the army of newborns and no one undestands whats going on, it’s Bella that links the newborns to Victoria to the mystery person that was in Bella’s room.
2. After hearing Jacob’s “legends” Bella has a dream about Edward being a “cold one”. This dream helps her cope, i guess, with the situation.
3. Lastly, when Jacob can’t tell her his secret, Bella is very frustrated and can’t remember any part of the legends except the parts about cold ones. in her sleep, however, everything comes together and she remembers all of the information about werewolves.
So finally, my point is that Bella’s super powah will be an uncanny ability to understand things. She’ll be like a super-genius! I know some of you are sarcastically thinking “Wow, isn’t that the coolest powah ever!” But really, it could come in handy. If the Cullen’s have a problem, BAM! Bella has a solution!
I think that Bella will be bitten by Edward and he will bite her where Edward got bitten by Carlisle. I don’t think Bella will have a super power because other wise the Cullens are going to be stronger than the Volturi, and that can’t happen. But Bella’s human strengths will be enhanced, like her clumsiness, dislike for blood and a head that can block out mind powers. I don’t reckon Bella will have a super power, just stronger powers then when she was human.
i think it will be edward or this might sound funny but rosalie because i waz thinkin the other day what would happen if there was a life or death situatuion with either the werewolves or the volturi and edward was occupied and bella and rosalie were being attacked and rosalie had to bite her or bella would die and rosalie feels she owes this to bella because bella and the cullens wouldn’t be in this situation because she told edward that alice had seen bella die/commiting suicide and so she will bight bella… and she will either be bite on the neck or on her wrist were james had bitten her….. i think her power will be either she will get all the powers that don;t work on her or she will have all the powers that every vampire posseses or maybe she will be able to turn people into vampires and vampires into people

I don’t think Edward will bite her immediately, I can see him stalling until it becomes a necesity, either Bella will be seriously hurt and being bitten will be the only way to save her, or the Volturi will come, and well, that kind of leads to the same thing as the first option.
If it is Edward who changes her, it’ll defintly be on the neck, where he always kisses her, it’s just… the best option, and pretty stereotypical vampire bite style.
When she’s a vampire, maybe her aversion to blood will let her be a thirst-less vampire, I know it’s totally out there, and farfetched to the extreme, but that would help make the change easier, and I can’t see Meyer writing about Bella dying to drink her father or friends’ blood, it would be rather morbid. If that isn’t the case, perhaps her blockage of others’ mind powers will transfer into a special form of mental power of her own.
I’m thinking that it would be really awesome if Edward bit Bella, but at the same time, I think that’s almost TOO predictable… My second choice would be Rosalie, only because it would symbolize so much if she were the one to change Bella. Plus, I think it’s more possible because if the attack/battle comes before Bella is changed, there might not be time to have Edward change her. It would have to be whoever is closest. I have to say, I’m almost hoping it is Rosalie, just for an exciting twist.
I don’t have any idea where she will be bitten. If it’s Edward, then I want to assume it will be on her neck. If Rosalie, then maybe the hand or somewhere not as… bloody, for lack of a better word…
As for her power, I really hope that her ‘powah’ isn’t just her aversion to blood. I mean, that would be really awesome if that was her power, but at the same time, it’s not very exciting. I’m thinking that perhaps Bella will have a combination of the aversion to blood, and also the power to protect others from other vampire’s powers.
I really enjoyed reading all the theories on this one. I think this question is one that really sums up all my questions about the book.
I think Edward will bite Bella. Bella wants this more than anything and I know that Stephenie cares about Bella and wouldn’t set her up for disappointment. However I do believe that there will be a struggle with this. I think Edward will be stubborn but in the end I think Bella’s stubborness will be stronger.
I think Bella will be bitten on the neck if Edward does change her. He is constantly kissing her neck and I believe that Stephanie makes that stand out for a reason.
I don’t know what Bella’s power will be but I think it will have to do with the fact that Edward and Jane’s powers don’t phase her in any way . This is also put out there in such a way that it has to be used. Stephanie wouldn’t just leave it hanging out there. She will definitly use that in some way.
I think that Bella will have a power. Edward has always reminded Bella that she notices and recognizes even the slightest changes in an atmosphere or a person and everything in between. I think that her “super power” might be something along the lines of what she can see and feel around her. Almost like super-sensitivity, but not like seing the future like Alice does.
There is a good chance that Bella won’t have a power as well though. Since she is immune to Jane, Edward, and Aro’s powers, maybe she won’t have a power at all. That would only happen if there was something to do with the mind like someone had mentioned in Eclipse. If it were another type of power, like Alice’s or Jasper’s than that brings us back to the senses (which I do strongly believe in at this point).
I continue to debate with myself her immunity. If you notice, Alice and jasper have powers to do with decision and emotion which are extremly closley related. Esme and Carlisle both have that loving compassion “super-power.” Rosalie and Emmett both have physical powers. Rosalie’s beauty and Emmett’s strength. So maybe couples have same types of powers. Bella might get a mind power like Edward. If that happens, I wonder if she will no longer be immune to those types of powers when she is turned into a vampire.

First of all if bella is bitten I am hoping it will be edward. but who says she gets bitten? maybe it turns out Jacob and her get together. ( i hope not though0. knowing Stephenie meyer she is not very predicatable. most authors arn’t. Knowing her there will be a twist.
If bella is betten I belive it will be on her wrist because Edward will want to get rid of the evidence of james biting her ( who wouldn’t)
With regards to her changing I don’t thing she will be in as much pain or even change fully. When james bit her she felt the pain. maybe even though edward sucked it out some was left. would explain why it is still cold and doesn’t heal. matbe she either ahs an immunity to the venom or is changing slowly. yes i am one of these beleivers of the theory lolz.
When it comes to her superpower that is a hard one. bella is completely different. But if so like many others i belevie it wil be an immunity to the powers of the vamps mind reading, shocking (janes power) etc. it will be most interesting but it probably wont be as this is a little too obviouse and I don’t beleive that is how Stephanie meyer writes. I cant wait to see what happens. please next week can the question be the cercumstances that bella is bitten in etc she is dying or it is planned that would rock.

ok first off Edward definitely Edward would be the one to bite her and probably on the neck, I know it sounds cliche, but that’s all I can come out with. as far as her power I have about a million ideas as to what it could possibly be so here they go:
1) a power similar to rogue’s from x-men, where she can steal other’s powers and used them as her own
2)a blocking ability where she could literally block all other powers as well as physical attacks kind of like an invisible force shield
3) No thirst for human blood
4) she can increase someone’s ability to ten fold
5) something to do with dreams, where she can astral project and be the only vamp that “took naps” and instead astral project
6) a power similar to Jean’s from x-men once again,
some thing to do with mental powers, maybe telekinesis or the ability to control someone’s mind like xavier sorry I’m huge x-men fan.
I love this question! I really think that Edward will be the one to bite Bella because even though he doesn’t want her to become a vampire, he loves her and wants her forever. (And he wants her to be happy).
I also think that Edward will probably bite her on the neck because in “Twilight” he is particularly fond of Bella’s neck and collarbone.
As for Bella’s superpowah, I am leaning more towards the ability to block more than just herself from the mind powers. Like if she is fighting alongside the Cullens, she would be able to protect them as well as herself.

I really want Edward to be the one to change Bella, and i’ll stick with that theory even though there’s a rather large chance that it won’t work out that way.
I think that edward would try to bite her at a body part where there’s not a lot of blood(idk where that is) so that he maybe has a little more control.or maybe she’ll be bitten on the hand again since it’s already punctured.
I don’t think this would be bella’s power but i’ll state it anyway~maybe since she’s so perceptive as a human, she’s be able to visibly see how a person thinks or feels. Also, not as a supa-powa, but i think an ability of hers will be to resist blood very well.

So, as for who will bite her im not sure who it will be but i think it will be someone who doesnt have a choise. something has happened to bella that is so tragic that she will just have to be saved with the venom.
Or i think that edward and bella get married go on their honeymoon and something terrible happens and edward will have to decide to bite her right then before its to late. and he will be torn and in pain.
Her power will be above all others. i think she will be able to control people or want something and it happens. where people will be forced to do her will or she thinks something and so there it shall be. idk i think that she will have the most power of any vampire and she will become the power source. then the voluri will come and try to kill her but the of course she is to good for them and you have alice knowing whats happening and edward and then you have the like 50 million werewolves and they come to help the cullens.

Bellas powers (yes i think she’ll have more than one) will probably be:
1. Immunity to most or all other vampire super power
2. she will either have a much easier time resisting the smell of human blood or will be completly immune to human blood
and she’ll probably have some sort of “aktive power” meaning some sort of weappon maybe she’ll be able to use the power of another vampire against him or her (sorta like Peter Petrelli in “heroes”)
so those are my boring answers to the question of the week! and if you wonder why they are boring… those are answers the most people would give if they were asked!

I definitely think it will be Edward who bites her. Since he has been so against her changing to begin with and he has finally agreed to, it has to be him!
I’m not exactly sure about the where part. I think it may be multiple places. One of the characters, probably Carlisle, mentioned the transformation is quicker if the bite is closer to the heart. SO, I think it might be her neck. However, I also think she might be bitten in multiple places. When Rosalie discusses her transformation, she mentions feeling pain in her wrists, and I think ankles (maybe other places too). I think this was done so there would be venom throughout her body and she would therefore transform faster. If this is accurate, maybe Edward would bite Bella multiple places too. [Hee hee, the neck and wrists can be done in a sexy way….idk about the ankles though!]
As for Bella’s super power, I agree with a lot of the theories that Bella’s mind will be closed and a private place. However, this is a power she already has. The other part of her that has really intrigued me concerning a super power is her reaction to blood. I think her private mind combined with her aversion to blood may mean that when she turns into a vampire, her mind will stay the same. She will still have the burn in her throat (her thirst), but she will be so disgusted by human blood that she will have no problem abstaining from it. Bella was worried that she might be different after the change (at least for the first few years), but I think part of her power will be that she’s not. She will take on all the physical changes of a vampire, but not the mental. Also, it would be interesting if her mind power was enhanced in some way, but I think it will be very difficult to guess how. I’m sure Stephenie Meyer has some tricks up her sleeve!
Ok, so, I have a theory about Bella as a vampire…
I think Bella will be bitten by Edward. I don’t think that Meyer will mess with that. I don’t think that the circumstance will be happy, but rather that the circumstance will be stressful and dangerous.
Bella as a vampire will be extremely powerful. I have noticed that she always seems to know more about people than even they do. She never knows that she knows all these things, but she definitely listens to her instincts. She had the dream where Jacob turned into a werewolf before we know that werewolves even enter into the story.
She seems to always notice things about people that have no seeming importance. Like the tear on Leah’s face at the bonfire…
Going off those observations… I think that Bella will have some kind of premonition power or a power of manipulation in the mind. She will definitely be able to probe into people’s minds because they would not be able to get back into her mind. I can’t pinpoint exactly why I am so sure that I believe that she will have that power.
That being said… I think that Bella’s existing power of protection in her mind will allow her to keep “human” mind when she turns. All the vampire powers that effect her body work on her, as I think the venom will work on her. BUT, the powers that effect her mind don’t work. So, I think she will retain her aversion to blood and her longing to be a “good” vampire, because her mind remains unaffected by anything that attacks it.
I don’t know if any of that made sense, but to sum it up. Her powah will have everything to do with powers of her mind. She will have some control or probing power or something awesome like that!!

Okay , so what if I don’t think Bella will be bitten. Just kidding, kind of. I love the whole soul thing (I believe the vampires have a soul) and I want Edward to believe it to so, he might become human. Not really possible but still.
So back to the question!
If Bella does get bitten I think it will be Edward but, it will be when somehow she is fatally injured. But, I like the theory that she is slowly turning into a vampire because of the bite by James and Stephenie said that Edward has venom in his “salvia” (check the Lexicon personal correspondance section).
I think she will be bitten on the neck because that is where Edward is always kissing her and a lot of blood flow is there.
Ummm… The power or “Powah” (LOL) will be either she doesn’t really have the desire for human blood or she will have the power to stop other vampire powers. The second one is kind of a building up of the fact that some powers don’t work with her. But, now she will extend that to a more general sense. Like if Edward is in the room with the Cullens she could stop him from reading any of their minds

I think that Bella could either be bitten by Edward or Carlisle. I think if she is going to be bitten by Edward, then it would be in a situation where there isn’t any danger. If she gets bitten by Carlisle, I think it would be in a situation where it was life-threatening for her. If she desperately needed to be bitten, and Edward wasn’t around for some reason, Carlisle (or possibly another Cullen, depending upon who was present at the time) would be forced to bite her to save her life.
I think that Bella would either be bitten at the neck, or on her arm that wasn’t already scarred. If I were her, I would ask to be bitten on that other arm and have matching scars. 😛
I think that Bella’s power will have to do something with the fact that she can’t stand the sight of blood. I think that her power will be that she is able to resist human blood.
I also think that she will be able to keep other vampires from having the temptation to drink human blood. I think that power will work along the lines of how Jasper’s power works, like when a vampire feels they need to drink human blood, Bella will be able to somehow curb that temptation.
If she had another power, it would have to do with her secluded mind. Maybe she would have all of the Cullen’s powers combined, because they don’t seem to work on her already. So whenever she gets turned into a vampire, Bella would receive Edward’s ability to read minds, Alice’s ability to see the future, and Jasper’s ability to affect emotions, as well as her own unique power. If this does happen, that could explain why she is such a threat to the Volturi.

First of all i definately want Bella to be changed by Edward, i don’t care whether its in a life or death situation or at the Cullen’s home. He just needs to change her – i’m a romantic, what can i say?
The first supa powah i think she will get is a mind connection with Edward. They won’t be able to read each others minds. But they will be able to talk to each other in the mind.
I think that Bella’s super powah will be conected with her mind/knowledge. Every year after she is reborn as a vampire she will gain a new powah. Her mind at the moment protects her from many super powahs, why not when she is turned into a vampire she can absorb certain powahs gradually.
I don’t think she should automatically gain the super powahs of those around her immediatley because she shouldn’t be the powerful. I’m not saying that she doesn’t deserve an awesome powah but it won’t seem realistic if she’s this super powahful creature straight away.
Also her powah will enhance her strengths and weaknesses aswell.
Her clumsiness will perhaps get even worse – that would be hilarious!!!
Her intuition would be strengthened, perhaps she will be able to detect when anybody lies???
Maybe her dislike of blood will become stronger, so she might not have to feed on the living animal or human but perhaps just a very rare steak???
