Twilight Lexicon has posted something very interesting! You really must click here its so cool! (Are you still here?!? Click on that that link! LOL)

Edit: I would like to say to everyone that Lexicon has done nothing wrong, they have asked permission to post this and was given just that! The case could have been that Rob was ready to come out of the shadows about this, and if he was not and states that then we will gladly pull the link. Please keep this in mind. Thank you!  We now have found out that ontd_twatlight on Livejournal  was the first to post about the MySpace page.

I think the Lexicon owes Robert an apology for publishing the link to his MySpace Music page.

It was his place to showcase his music anonymously, separate from his celebrity persona. Over the course of 5 days, the page received over 130,000 visits and who knows how many friend requests, comments and messages – overwhelming for anybody to handle.

According to the YouTube videos, his management only gave “reluctant” approval, more on the side of “we really wish you wouldn’t.” This is where a decision regarding discretion had to be made, and they went ahead with it. Yes, the link might have been passed around, but slowly, and he might have been able to handle that. But to slam him with visitors seems to have been too much for him, and now he has to start over.

People say “well, he made it public.” From my understanding, MySpace Music pages can’t be set to private so he didn’t have that choice. He might have had the page up to share the music without revealing who he really was so the opinions weren’t slanted.

Have you any idea how many celebrities use aliases to share their personal stuff? Would they have published Stephenie Meyer’s personal e-mail address? No. Why not give Robert the same respect?.

Oh leave it alone. He pulled it down anyway. At elast, I can’t fid it anymore.

  5. malory says:

um…call me slow, but……i don’t see the link to the actual myspace page anywhere?

  6. P.J. says:

I agree with shobizzy, the link shouldn’t have been posted. If he wanted it to become famous he would have done it himself. True music fans would have found him instead of girls who just love edward cullen. Now the myspace is deleted and no one can listen to it.

  7. Kristyn says:

eh. am I the only one that can’t find it? haha somebody help. It’s probably right in front of my nose.

  8. Kristyn says:

    ok nevermind.

  9. Delaney Jo says:

i’m pretty sure he’s deleted it now. I went to find it again cause my computer went psycho and now i can’t find the songs anywhere.
It’s propably cause people (fan girls) were adding him just cause he’s famous or hot and not because of his actual music.
    ugh.
    and i actually liked it.

  10. Madragal says:

I think I am missing something. I don’t see anywhere where it actually says the link for his MySpace music. Does any one have it? Or has it been taken down? I see everywhere that there was permission, but then I don’t see the link. He’s such a wonderful musician. So much soul to his music…. almost like he’s sad when he sings.
