  1. Jamie says:

Correct me if I’m wrong, but on the last page do they mean to say that Bella is 14 years old? Lol, maybe a typo……

  2. C. Cullen says:

    yes it does. weird!

  3. Cynthia A. says:

Yes, they made a mistake. And apparently Edward is 15…haha

  4. C. Cullen says:

that always bugs me when magazines mess up twilight. cuz we real fans always notice. 😉

  5. jelena says:

    omg.
    i saw that too!
i was like ‘wtf? fourteen? noo, she’s seventeen !!’
    it kinda frustrates me!

  6. Emily says:

Wow, they need to check their facts… I feel bad for the person getting all the emails about that!

  7. kayla says:

well that wasnt to accurate now was it?, i think the only number they can type is 14, because thats how old all the fans are to now i guess, oh and why does it say it comes out on january 9th??, gezz im really annoyed now

  8. kayla says:

the email it gives doesnt work, good 4 them it saves them the thousands of emails 🙂

  9. Reni says:

Hmm i don’t know but whoever wrote this was wrong .. they said tha bella was 14-year-old and Edward hasnt changed since 1916 isnt it 1918????
    and the release date?
wow they should do better research!

  10. Sarah says:

Reading that was entirely embarassing. They should do better research!

  11. Elliot says:

Someone didn’t do his homework it seems…. *laughs and shakes her head* men…. Release Date: January 9th, 2009?? And 14-year old Bella isn’t a typo, he said it 2 times, actually… I’m not sorry for him, he’s brought it on himself by not researching properly. That’s a C for you, Mister!

  12. Teri says:

Ok…I hope whoever wrote that gets bombarded with emails saying that Bella is not darn 14-years old. When will these journalists realize that when doing stories on Twilight, they better have all the facts straight? lol

  13. Lorelei says:

I believe this is a British magazine. My friend lives in England and LOVES Twilight. They won’t get Breaking Dawn until October. I’m pretty that Jan 9 is when the movie is released in England. But they did get the ages wrong. That’s really annoying.

  14. Dani says:

Wow. Since when are the fans 14 years olds who have the wrong idea of love? I’m kinda offended by that article.

  15. Kimberly says:

this was all around irritating. but whatever. soon they will learn. and january ninth is the release date for the twilight movie in the uk…so they got that right.

  16. Camille says:

I can’t stand when fairly respectable magazines (or any magazine, for that matter), do little of no research and completly ruin an article because of incorrect facts. It is just sloppy and an embarassment for the magazine. They got several facts wrong in this article, and after they said Bella was 14 and Edward was 15, I just about stopped reading the story altogether.

    PROBLEMS IN THE ARTICLE

a.) Wrong Facts: They said Bella is 14, Edward was changed into a vampire in 1916, therefore also they got his age wrong, because that would mean he is 15.

b.) This is another wrong fact, however, somehow worse than the miscitation of the characters ages. The article says multiple times that Twilight (the movie) will come out on January 9th, 2009. First of all, they are nearly two months off, and second, that was never the release date. It used to be December 12th, 2008, but recently it was moved up to November 21st, 2008, so that mistake is more than inexcusable.

c.) They potrayed to the reader that the fanbase of Stephenie Meyer’s books was limited to 14-year-old, ditzy girls, which is most certainly NOT the case, thank you very much. The Twilight Saga appeals to a broad spectum of readers and ages, that do not just include teenage girls.

d.) This problem is minor compared with the other huge errors of this article, but they made it sound like vampires COULD NOT go out in the sun at all.

e.) Overall, I believe the author of this poor article belittled the series and made it sound like any other stupid teenage romance novel, that was meant for obsessed teenage girls, although that clearly isn’t the case. Plus, they made Edward and Bella’s relationship sound like nothing more than a high school fling, and that, right there, is reason enough to loathe Empire magazines, downright terrible article.

  17. Olivia says:

I AGREE CAMILLE! I almost stopped reading this article, it was so bad. I get irritated when they compare us (I’m 18) to the little 14-year-old teeny-bopper Hannah Montana Fans. UGH! It irks me… I just want to hit him.

  18. sou says:

I haven’t even read it and it’s making mad!! Really??? Gay!! I hate when they get the main character’s bios wrong. Tt’s like they were even too lazy to look on Wikipedia.

  19. RyRy (Ryan) says:

Come on! Would have killed them to do a little research? They say that Bella is 14 and Edward is 15, and it wasn’t a typo, they said it more than once! WTH? They even got the release date wrong! They said in the last line that it comes out on January 9, 2009! Where did they get that from! And I agree completely with Camille! The author makes it sound like Edward and Bella are just an item of gossip that lasts two weeks, and then they’re over! But most of all, they describe it as being a tiny romance you pick up in a thrift store, that only 14 years olds that have never been in love would enjoy. This is clearly not the case. Simply walk into a store, and yell Twilight and you will get about 50 people of all ages, including guys, who love the book. The article was pathetic, and the author should be fired and never allowed to write again. I promise, this article will cause more trouble then the EW cover a few weeks ago.

  20. RyRy (Ryan) says:

OK, i did some research, and the reason that it said January 9th was because this is a British magazine, and Twilight comes out Jaunuary 9th in the UK. However, they did still get quite a few things wrong.

  21. Wray says:

    I know, I know

The assumptions being made in this article have been often repeated in the press – never mind the blatant errors in facts (Bella 14?).

However, Robert Pattinson cracks me up!

  22. Camille says:

Sorry-guess I was partially wrong about the mistakes in the article. Apparantly, Twilight really IS coming out on January 9th, 2009 in Britain, but I still think that all the other major errors overshadow this one correct piece of information.
