Hi ladies! My question is about Angela and Ben. What do you see in their futures? Do you think they’ll stay together? They’ve always interested me, because it seems that they are the strongest all human relationship in the book.
Also, I wanted to ask if you remember Alice calling Jasper “Jazz?” I only ask this because in the Midnight Sun draft on Stephenie’s website that’s what she calls him. I know I’ve read Fanfictions where this name is used, but I didn’t want to confuse them with the book. Thanks, and I love the podcasts and the new web design!

I had questions about the wolves. It’s been stated that vampire venom would kill a werewolf. But then we discover the Quileutes aren’t really werewolves, just shapeshifters who assume wolf form. What do you speculate (sing it, Kassie! supporter’s speculaaaatioooooooons…) would happen if one of the Quileute Pack got a big nasty vampire bite?
Also, during Edward’s fight with Victoria at the end of Eclipse, she sees Seth and shouts “Not the same! Not the same!” I knew she was referring to wolves–something about a run-in James had with wolves in Siberia–so do you think she immediately recognized Seth wasn’t a genuine werewolf or do you think she was in shock to find one in Washington?
I have lots of things about Twilight I could discuss, but I’ll just wrap up with one more question. Are you guys going to read the released chapters of Midnight Sun and do a podcast or two about it? I would not have read the manuscript if Stephenie hadn’t released it on her site. But I figured since she did I sort of had her blessing to read it, if that makes sense. I think I liked it ever more than Twilight! There were SO MANY things I gained from Edward’s perspective. I’ve read Twilight seven times and there were quite a few things I misunderstood from Bella’s point of view, but reading Midnight Sun completely put me straight. Anyway, I’m just wondering how you all feel about the Midnight Sun situation and if there will be any shows about it.
I LOVE YOUR SHOW!!! It’s seriously one of the highlights of my week. I was sort of one of your ‘first’ listeners…back when I started listening at week 8 there weren’t too many people answering the question of the week and stuff like that. But you have become so successful and I really enjoy seeing how the show and changed and expanded but has remained true to form. I’ll quit yammering now…you’ll have a LOT of questions to read this week!
I was also wondering what you guys thought about the backlash regarding Breaking Dawn. I was spoiled so it took me 2 reads through the book to appreciate it- at first I couldn’t believe the weird spoilers were true!
I also wondered what you thought about the Midnight Sun leak, if you have read the draft and what you think about it. I loved it so much and I am so sad we won’t see the rest. I felt Breaking Dawn didn’t have enough of the old Edward/Bella feeling so I needed some Midnight Sun. Also, who do you think leaked it?

My main question is, do you think that Renesme made Breaking Dawn a better story, or do you think that she was an unecessary character? I felt about equally torn between these to choices. On one hand, she gave the story a juicer and more suspenseful plot. She also gave the story an element of surprise when all the readers thought that vampire children could not exist. However, I also felt that Edward and Bella did not spend as much time together like they used to. The story is no longer a love story between Edward and Bella. In Eclipse, you could still tell that Edward and Bella were head over heels for each other, always touching or kissing or talking. Now that Renesme is around, it is about Bella and her. Where is Edward? I undestand that this story is from Bella’s point of view, but I love the devotion and passion that is shared with Edward and Bella before Renesme is around. I know it is still there, but it is left up tp our imaginations a little too much. I understand that there is the mother-daughter bond. Don’t get me wrong, Renemse holds a special place in my heart like the rest of the characters, and the story would not be the same without her. Tell me what you think!

Can we send flowers or something to Stephanie? I feel so bad for her. Also do you think signing the petitions will help Stephanie change her mind eventually about finishing Midnight Sun. It is so awesome. I actually cried while reading it since I knew I wouldn’t get more………Do you think this will effect her letting Summit do the other movies since they are the only ones who saw the manuscript?
I wanted to know if you guys had trouble picturing Bella right after her transformation. Ever since I saw the movie trailer I keep imagining Kristen Stewart as Bella but there are just so many changes happening at once that I found it hard to picture the “new Bella”. Not only is she changing into a stunning vampire but she’s also becoming a mom and I was wondering if you guys had as hard of a time picturing her as I did.
My second question is do you think that the fact that most of the characters don’t age will be a problem as far as the movies are concerned? If they decide to make all of the movies (fingers crossed!!!) do you think that they will film them closer together because they don’t want that to be an issue? I know that there is such a thing as “movie magic” but it still has me wondering!

my other question is if the actors and images from the movie have affected your mental pictures of the characters or anything like that? Luckily for me, most of them have gone unchanged, but i keep seeing Peter Facinelli when i picture Carlisle. It’s happened with other books too. Does that ever happen to you guys?

I have two questions (if that’s ok?) and two comments.
Q1. If you could choose one word that sums up / describes your feelings about how Breaking Dawn completes the series of books for you, what one word would you say? For me, it’s the word “SATISFYING”.
2. Did we ever get to find out what was going on with Bella hearing Edward’s ‘voice’ every time she put herself in danger in “New Moon”? He wasn’t actually communicating with her was he, so was it some self-protection / survival instinct thing of hers, just couched in Edward’s voice, not her own (to herself, if you know what I mean)?
Comments. I was very upset for Stephanie that the Midnight Sun chapters had got out there before she wanted. I stayed up till late last night reading it, and really enjoyed it. I have two comments about it - 1. I was surprised about how early on Edward knew he was in love with Bella - that certainly didn’t seem to be revealed from Bella’s perspective till the meadow scene in Twilight. So I was VERY happy about that from Midnight Sun’s perspective. 2. I don’t know, now that I’ve ‘heard’ Edward’s perspective in these chapters, I’m happy with that. I would have loved to read the whole of Midnight Sun as a future book, but now we’ve got these chapters, I’d be happy for Stephanie to ‘let it go’, have a rest from the Vampire world for a while - she’s given us so much.

Hi Kallie and Kassie! My question is do you think vampires imprint? I ask this because it seems like the first time a vampire sees it’s future mate the vampire immediately has strong feelings toward it. When Carisle first saw Esme he wanted to save her. When Alice and Jasper saw each other for the first time they immediately had feelings for each other. Another time is when Rosaile first saw Emmet when he was dying she was reminded of little Henry and wanted to save him. The last example is when Edward first saw Bella. In the first chapter of Midnight Sun Edward wants to protect Bella from Jessica and later wants to protect her from basically everything. I know vampires don’t imprint in the way shapeshifters do but it seems like vampires have a thing for love at first sight. Love the podcast! Team Edward all the way!

Hi Kallie and Kassie! First of all I love your show and look forward to it every week ~ it’s so much fun to listen to!!! My question is about the reaction to Breaking Dawn. I’ve read (and I am starting to agree with this) that SM did not focus on BD the same way she did for her previous three books (Twilight, NM, and Eclipse). At the time she was writing the Host and her writing style for BD was very similiar to that of the Host. It lacked the magic between Edward and Bella that the previous books had. So what do you think???
Also, will you read the MS draft? I have and it’s pure genius ~ even if it was a draft! I think I loved it more than Twilight! It would be a shame for SM fans to miss out on such a wonderful piece of work. I found myself grabbing my copy of Twilight so I could read Bella’s reactions to scenes at the same time that I read Edward’s. It was great!
I don’t know how, but I love Edward even more after reading it! I really hope SM gets over her dissappointment and continues the manuscript ~ I really want to know how the Meadow scene turns out!

i will explain:
when Bella was turned into a vamp, she was still Bella, but…not. she had the same personality of course, but i was picturing a completely different person in Bella’s place. it was no longer the Bella i’d known for the past three books, and it felt weird (but i liked it).

Sp here’s my question: are there any characters introduced in Breaking Dawn that you just can’t get enough of? More specifically, if Stephanie wrote a book in the world of Twilight about any of the “houseguests” (and I don’t see this happening for a while, mind you. poor Stephanie is probably too upset), who would you want it to be about?
Also, just out of curiosity, did you read the Midnight Sun manual? If you did, did you read once she had it on her site or before. I was just wondering because I read it on her site, but I was still so guilty. (It was so good, I cried because I knew I might not ever get any more)

Do you think that Renesmee is taking Bella’s love away from Edward?
That is why I didn’t like Breaking Dawn as much as the other books and if you disagree, that is okay, but I think when Renesmee was just being born and she bites Bella it was my least favorite part. Edward just pulled her off Bella and said “No Renesmee.” Bella and Edward aren’t in that much of love anymore with her and it’s hard to imagine Bella as a mother.
Stephenie Meyer mentioned on Mugglecast that one of the reasons she wanted to end the series was because if she continued writing, she knew which character she’d have to kill off. Which character do you think she was talking about?

Second: My question may seem trivial but it has bothered me since I first thought of it. Why do you think Rosalie is interested in cars? In her human life she was admired by everyone, prissy, and posh. When she was transformed, what do you think happened in order for her to want to become a grease monkey?

I hate that this could be a possibility but it has happened before with other writers, movie scripts, and bands! Personally, I REALLY hope NOT!!!)

I am late in responding to the recent podcasts SOOOOOO….
I am listening to the latest one, just after hearing Kallie vs Kassie.
I am on Team Kassie. I have been since I first listened to TST. I am a recovering Jacob-Hater, so I synched with Kassie from Day One. Well, I did not realize that Jacob imprinted until … 10 to 20 pages later when Bella screams “You IMPRINTED on my BABY??!!” this was like the only thing in the book that shocked me.

I very strongly dislike BD. I thought it was impossibly disappointing, but filling, too, b/c I actually read it. And I didn’t put it down for 2 days.
I was like a terrible compilation of a ton of the fanfiction I read in the months before BD. I thought of the fact that Bella could still get pregnant as a human, but I shot it down after the constant remembrance of “vampires don’t have babies!” And I didn’t want Jacob to imprint on anyone, but i wanted Leah to imprint on him so he’d have to deal with her anymore. I wanted Jacob to SUFFER.
Mwuahahahahaaaa
I honestly wanted a HUGE Volturi–Werewolf–Vampire fight. Such a letdown when nothing happened.
I have half a mind to rewrite the book myself. Stephenie just can’t please everyone…

First off I just want to say that I absolutly loved Breaking Dawn as the conclusion to the Twilight Saga I really liked all aspects of it, but at the end was left with a few questions ( which leads me to hope that Stephenie Meyer isn’t quite finished just yet) those questions were:
1.) When Renesmee( not Nessie ) is older how will her relationship with Bella and Edward change? Do you think that they will still live together or will Renesmee and Jacob leave for a while after they possibly get married? I really loved Jacob imprinting on Renesmee and would love to have a continuation on that maybe??
2.) What happened to Renee?? I feel like after Bella became a vampire Renee totally fell out of the picture( even more than she was). Its not that I really mind because in the books you never really see her that much, but in a way I felt bad for her because she went from being Bella’s self confessed “best friend” to only seeing her 2 times in about 2 years. Do you think they will have a relationship in the years to come or is Renee too “fainthearted” to be somewhat let in on the big secret the way that Charlie was?
I’m sorry these are both hypothetical questions but they are the ones that I was the most curious about when I finished Breaking Dawn. I love the podcast keep up the good work ladies!!!

What gift do you think Alice gave Bella for her 18th birthday? I’m not sure if it was included in the books or it really wasn’t there.
We know Rosalie’s the most beautiful being in the world and all, but how and why do you think Emmett can stand her being the way she is (rude, obnoxious, insensitive, self-centered)? How do you think Emmett feels about the given fact that Rosalie can give everything up, including Emmett and the rest of the Cullen family, to be human? We also know Emmett keeps everything light and stuff but don’t you think he’s the Cullen that’s in most agony because his so-called “soulmate” does not feel that strongly about him? (Unlike Eslisle, Edwella, and Jalice)

I was mulling some other questions in my head last night. First, why no mention of their meadow? It’s part of the first three books but not even mentioned in BD. Second, where’s the big wrought-iron bed from Edward’s room in Eclipse? I thought that would’ve been taken to their cottage, but it just disappeared, like the meadow.
I also feel that BD was different than the other 3 books. I just think there was SO MUCH story to it. She really could’ve made it two separate books, but didn’t want to drag the story any longer.

I am completely with you all on that subject. I am Catholic so it is part of my faith but, it is also an amazing promise. I am 17 years old and I made this decision when I was 15 years old so, I was wondering when the idea not having sex before marriage became part of your lives? I adore the fact that Edward was the same way, I really want a guy who will not only respect me but, also make this promise for himself. You all are an inspiration to me. Continue the good work! Ok, so my question is about Alice and Esme. I was wondering what you ladies believe their “record” is like. It is mentioned that Carlisle is completely clean of human kills. Roselie has taken 7 lives out of revenge. Edward took the lives of people he believed to be evil during his time of rebellion. Emmett had a few slips, including once where the person’s scent was almost as intoxicating as Bella’s was to Edward. And of course we know Jasper had numerous kills under his belt during the wars in the South. I don’t believe there was anything mentioned as to if Alice or Esme had ever taken a life or how many they have taken. What is your opinion?
In my opinion, I don’t think Alice has taken a human life, since she woke up from her change and saw her visions which prompted her decisions and choices she took to get where she is today. Esme, I am not sure. She does have a fondness for humans and compassion for them, but I don’t know if those feelings could be set aside when thirst takes over.
I would like to say a big thank you for all the hard work and dedication you have for the Twilight Saga, and I simply love your podcast. Hey guys! Love the podcast; it keeps me entertained and laughing always! I just have a few questions.
1) Do you think Renesmee will mind or does mind the fact that Jacob was once in love with Bella? I mean, it’s kind of weird. “Hey, Nessie, one time I made out with your mom.” I don’t know; THAT creeps me out. If nothing else, that’s the only thing that does. Not the fact that Jacob imprinted on her, not the fact that Bella, Edward, Renesmee, and Jacob are going to be the same age soon, nothing. Only that.
2) As you might know, Stephenie Meyer posted the first twelve chapters of Midnight Sun on her website, a rough draft. I was wondering, did you guys feel bad reading it, or are you going to feel bad reading it? I’m currently reading it, and I just feel a little guilty because Stephenie was so sad that the leak happened and she just gave up and posted the chapters. I felt really sad for her. Yet I’m EXTREMELY happy that she did it because I couldn’t wait another second anyway. How do you guys feel?
3) This is probably the last question. Okay, so in Breaking Dawn it stated that Renesmee was the reason that Jacob and Bella felt drawn to each other when she was pregnant, and she was the reason Bella was so happy to see him all the time. I was just wondering, does that apply to BEFORE Bella was pregnant, too? Was Jacob and Bella’s relationship, dare I say it, fake? Was it simply just the fact that Jacob’s future soulmate was inside of Bella all this time? Was that why they fell in love in the first place? I didn’t think so, but everyone else is convinced this is the solution to why Bella had been crazy enough to fall in love with Jake in the first place. But I say “NOOOOO!” Cuz Jakey-Poo is awesome, and nobody can say otherwise .
4) So I lied. THIS will be my last question. I totally don’t get why Renesmee has brown eyes. I know she’s half human and everything, but she doesn’t eat regular food, does she? She drinks blood, so shouldn’t her eyes be gold? Or is that just a full vampire? I remember Stephenie once saying that the vampire exterior is extremely heavy, but they have the ability to land light on their feet. So, since Renemee’s skin is kind of like that, would she weigh a lot? They took a lot of measurements…I don’t know. The whole half vampire/ half human thing confused me. Like, what features of each does she have? Specifically?

In Breaking Dawn it seems like there were so many funny scenes and lines, Stephanie’s sense of humor really came through. What part of the book made you laugh out loud?
I was rolling on the floor when I read the part where Bella learned that Jacob had imprinted on Renesmee. I could see her chasing Jacob through the yard with him trying to explaine himself to a very angry vampire, and for the first time she really could hurt him. I could also picture Emmit and Jasper standing on the porch taking bets on how much damage Bella would do before Edward stepped in and stopped her.
Hey ladies! I have a question for you regarding some of the nicknames that seemed to show up in Breaking Dawn. Did it seem odd to you that all of a sudden Jasper and Emmett are now referred to almost always as “Jazz and Em?” For me these nicknames came out of no where and it irritated me to see them being used all of the time so suddenly. Having read jacobs book my whole veiw on werewolves changed due to jakes description of imprinting which made it sound like a lovely almost magicla thing! I thought that the last page of Jacob’s book TOTALLY just screamed ” he imprinted on Renesmee “. I just could not see any reason why others did not get it.

My question is about Edward’s fertility. Stephenie Meyer obviously discard much of the pre-existing vampire mythology. As readers and fans, we learned to rely, solely, the contents of the books and her carefully crafted interview responses and other communications to define the nature of Twilightverse vampire. Yes, I recognize the literary necessity of keeping readers in the dark. But was Bella’s pregnancy sufficiently foreshadowed? Could it have been reasonably foreseen, from the information presented in its various forms, as a possible or potential plot point by a reasonably astute reader? Or in not specifically including incubus in canon and emphatically rejecting “vampire” pregnancies by addressing only the female half of the equation and using generic qualifiers “… most fluids …” in carefully tailored and intentionally misleading (but still true) statements, did she deserve some of the ire Breaking Dawn generated? Was Stephenie Meyer clever … or too clever by half?

I was just wondering if, hypothetically, the world ended and Bella ran off with Jacob at the end of Eclipse, (I’m tearing up just thinking about it) and they had “puppies”, Would Jacob have imprinted on his own kid?? Or was it something to do with Renesmee being Edward’s child as well as Bella’s? This has been bugging me for a while, and it is really weird and random, but what do you think?

Instead Nessie(who is a monster!) had to make him imprint on him. As you can tell I Hate Nessie and Jake(Jacob). I started to sob when I found out that Jake(ob) imprinted on the monster!He just left Leah hanging out on a tree limb… and now what’s going to happen to her!!

In the video interview on EW with SM after Breaking Dawn was released, Stephenie said there was no moral or meaning to the stories, that is was just about the story itself or, as she said, “the ride.” What do you feel about this? Does it hurt the fandom? What do we really have to talk about after we have hashed out the “ride” as there isn’t anything else. Do you think there should be a moral to the stories? We learned - when we thought werewolves were werewolves and not shape shifters - that Quil’s mom was thought to not be a Quilleute. Descendants of the first alphas turned into what we thought were werewolves and because Quil’s mother and father were thought to not Quilleutes then how did he become a werewolf? We also learned that when Quil did become a wererwolf that somehow he has to be a descendant and Sam and Jacob wanted to know if they were related to him in some way.

Hey guys! I totally feel like I know you already just from listening to you guys talk every week. I’m totally not a podcast person so its totally awsome…and a little wierd. (Hope you don’t scratch me off as some crazy fan…which i bet you get a lot anyway…lol)
Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. There are so many questions just floating around in my head right now that even my brainiac twi-hard friend cannot answer. It’s driving me insane! (so feel free to pick just one) : )
Personally, I thing Steph totally ended Breaking Dawn on an “open” note, i guess you could say. All of the people I have talked to and I feel like the story did not completely end, as in there is totally no closure (which I’m pretty sure has nothing to do from Twilgiht withdrawel). It just doesn’t feel like we’ve heard the last of the Cullens or Forks for that matter. I also heard, and truly pray, that Steph was considering writing another book but from a different person’s perspective. Which character do you think she would choose and why? I am leaning towards Renesmee because 1) she was practically just born, 2) she is an incredible character and her special abilities and, well, uniqueness opens many possibilities for a intresting future, to say the least, 3) growing up in a vampire family as a half-human, half-vampire is a very intriguiing thought, and 4) she is destined to be with Jacob, a wolf-spirit…thing (I forgot what the Volturi called him, sorry!) the only creature she is not half of. LOL But that’s my personal opinion.
Another reason why I think the book isn’t completely closed is because there was that whole ordeal with the Volturi and how a couple characters at the end saw how threatened they had felt. I can totally see the Volturi coming back for revenge or another group of vampires banding together to rid the world of their injustice now that it has been made clear to all parties. The fact that there were many unsatisfied feelings after the “fight” on both sides really makes me believe that something is going to happen in the future (hopefully the near future). Does this make sense, and is this something you agree with?
When this book is made into a film, what parts do you think will be left out? It was a VERY long book, and even Steph said so herself. It got pretty gruesome too. Do you think they’ll leave in all the blood and guts (the birth scene) just the way it is? That would be interesting to watch, but I don’t think many people will be able to stomach it. But its such an important part though…I’m so torn. What are your thoughts?
Ooh, and what about the were-wolves, the so-called “Children of the Moon” that the Volturi were tlaking about? I mean, I’m probably not the only one saying this but I was completely convinced that that was what the Quileute wolf pack was. Now they mention a WHOLE NEW side of the fantasy world the readers, along with most of the characters, didn’t even know about. Do you think Steph put this in near the end to introduce a whole new set of characters taht could possibly pop up later on? Because I don’t think she would have mentioned a new concept just for the fun of it. I could be wrong thought. What do u think?

I have enjoyed your podcasts, but I really need to ask - Were you not disappointed by Breaking Dawn? I enjoyed reading the first three books and The Host, but Breaking Dawn did not even resemble Meyer’s usual style. The entire novel (not just the section from Jacob’s point of view, because that was kind of interesting) sounded nothing like her other books. The writing seemed like it was rushed. There were way too many “easy” fixes to problems. I got the feeling that she was trying to wrap up every loose end no matter how ridiculous the solution. Did you REALLY enjoy it or were you just being nice?

I was wondering… what do you see happening to the publishing of Midnight’s Sun?
There are a few sides to take. The people I know say that it isn’t fair for Stephenie Meyer to stop writing. She got our hopes up and tore them down. I think that we all love the books and we all owe that to Stephenie. She created another world beyond our, mere mortal, imaginations. Someone shared something, that she obviously took pride in (who wouldn’t though?), without her permission. I think that we should let her write on her own time, so she can broaden our understanding about books that hold a story which is more than just ink and paper to some of us.
PS You don’t have to share my opinion or agree with it, I just thought I get it out there

A lot of people disliked Breaking Dawn because they said Bella was no longer a relatable character when she became a vampire. –we know that werewolves (shape shifters) don’t age as long as they shape shift from time to time…So, my question is that if werewolves can be “immortal”, what will happen to their mates? Does anyone else miss the old Bella? I am happy she got what she always wanted….essentially eternity with Edward, but since the time she becomes a vampire I don’t feel the same connection with her. I miss the dynamics of her and Edward’s relationship when she was imperfect and human. Sometimes I don’t feel like there is enough left of that endearing Bella we all grew to love. Anyone else feel the same?

How would you improve Breaking Dawn?
Here’s what I would do:
1. I would separate the book into 2, stopping where Jacob imprints on Renessme, except, perhaps to include the first chapter of Bella’s second book where we see her as a vampire. Things wouldn’t feel as rushed in certain places and perhaps the things that weirded a few people out would have made more sense.
With the book separated, we could go into more detail about certain topics such as:
2.more of Bella’s sorrow in missing her mother.
3.the pregnancy from Bella’s point of view, as well as more of Edward’s feelings about the baby when he starts hearing her thoughts.
4. More about Edward’s relationship with Renessme.
5. A chance to get to know Renessme more intimately.
6.More about what happens with Leah
7.More details about Bella’s first few weeks/months as a vampire.
8. Hear more from Alice–her feelings while Bella’s pregnant, Bella and Alice together (there is very little conversation between the two even when Alice is still around, and also, perhaps hear more about her adventures in South America.
9. Get Emmett’s story, etc.

Hey Twilight Series Theories! First of all, about the name…if Stephenie can combine names why can’t I?? (Notice I put Edward first Kassie!) Okay moving on to my question! (Actually two)
At the end of Breaking Dawn, Leah’s story was left kind of open ended. She was happy being the Beta in Jacob’s pack, but Stephenie never really said what happened to her. I looked on Steph’s site under FAQ on Breaking Dawn and I saw my question, but she never really answered it. So I guess my question is what do you think happened to Leah? Did she imprint on someone? If so, who? Did she choose to remain a werewolf or did she give it up to live a normal life? Why did she make the choice she did? Okay on to the next question…
Do you think the Cullens remained in Forks? Or if they didn’t, did they come back after the people who had known them had died? If they remained, do you think Renesmee would go to Forks High School when she “grew up”? (I can picture it now…Edward listening to all of the thoughts of the people in the school when Nessie arrived and hearing exactly what he heard on Bella’s first day-if you know what I mean)

Stephenie said she might or might not continue the Twilight world (besides Midnight Sun). Sometimes the situations in Twilight seem so dire that you can’t imagine a fitting way to end the story with the light at the end of the tunnel, but the Dawn Breaks (so to speak) and we get what we want for our beloved characters. I loved the series because of these endings. Which novel ending was your favorite why? Similarly, what was your favorite novel beginning in the series?
I have a few questions I would like to ask-
-I have read a couple articles about fans returning Breaking Dawn because the didn’t like the message it sent.When I read this I really felt like saying the author wrote what she thought would be a good ending to the series and you shouldn’t get all mad over something as silly as I didn’t like it. I will say I would have liked a little more action but I’m not going to return the book over it. Do you think I’m being too harsh and that there must be an explanation? I loved this book and I was wondering what you think about this.

I know I’ve already sent some questions/ponderisms a few days ago that i now have realized that pretty much everyone has already asked about midnight sun so i’m sorry for the repeats! i have thought of another question that i think would be great for a good venture back to the past. Ok, my question is related to TWILIGHT!!! yes, the original first book…. i know my question has come a little late but thats ok :]. so, my question is this:
When James bites Bella at the dance studio at the end of Twilight, she wakes up or is in a kindof daze where she is able to feel an intense burning that we now know thanks to breaking dawn is very similar to the feelings of becoming a vampire. Bella had already been bugging Edward to turn her into a vampire so I want to know why you think she was so persistant about getting the vampire venom out of her system when she could just let it be, become a vampire, and be with the love of her life forever without any disputes about the change? Now, I have taken into consideration the fact that Edward would always be unhappy with himself for letting her go through all of the pain and that it would be good for stephenie meyer to hold her transformation for further books, and it would show how strong edward is around her (wow thats a lot), but Bella doesn’t think about that while the transformation is actually beginning and stephenie meyer wasn’t planning on writing anymore books at this point. What do you guys think about Bella (and even possibly Stephenie’s) actions and why?

Hey Chica’s the question I have for you guys is do think the Twilight series would be as popular today if stephenie would have put out Midnight sun enough it’s Edwards point of view of things ?
I heard there is going to be Edwards version of Twilight but that there will only be one book. I think that is so weird because thier are 4 Twilight books and, if there is 4 Twilight books then there should be 4 of Edwards version. What do you think?

Is Stephenie writing more than one book from Edward’s Perspective?
Stephenie Meyer has said that there will definitely not be another book in Bella’s perspective, but that there might be another book that is in the twilight universe. My question is, whose perspective would you like that book to be in? While I was reading Breaking Dawn it occurred to me how cool it would be to have a whole book in Renesmee’s point of view. What an interesting life she has already had! Do you think that Stephenie Meyer would write from a perspective of a character that we all know and love (Alice) someone we don’t really know that well (Kate) or an unknown character?

We know that at the end of breaking dawn Jacob doesn’t see Nessie in that way, but what do you think would happen when nessie is like 5, so like 17 in physical appearance, with their realtionship and Jacob’s realationship with Edward because of it? Also what do you think the kids would be like if jacsie had them? do you think that Alice will be as forcful on “human” experiences like parties, hair and make-up with Nessie? Do you think that if and when Jacob and Nessie get married Alice will plan the wedding? what do you think Jasper is going to be feeling from Edward ( because fathers are way over-protective of their first daughter ) when Jacob and Nessie start dating?

I have not seen any of your pod casts yet but I am intrested and can’t wait to watch. I have a couple questions.
1) Do you truly believe the transformation of Rosalie? I think given the chance she would snatch that baby and run!
2) I saw some reference to this on another site, they were discussing Bella as a role model for young women. Whether she or Hermione was the better femenist role model. Your thoughts…is Bella that bad as a role model?
3) Ok as many already know Midnight Sun is written from Edwards point of view. I love it because with Edwards special ability he can kind of give you a taste of everyones point of view. My friend would rather see a book from Jasper’s point of view because of his special ability. Ok here’s the question if you could pick one of the 4 books or a future book, whose point of view would you prefer to read it from and which book?

I am a new podcast subscriber and I have to say I love your podcast. Everybody at work is always wondering what I am giggling at. So I have two questions.
First…. this is a Twilight movie question. If they make the sequels to the movie (which we all hope they do) do you think that Taylor Lautner is old enough or will look right to play Jacob after he makes his transformation? I hear a lot of talk about Steve Strait being perfect for this role. I really want to get your take on this.
Second….Have you or will you read the 12 chapters to Midnight Sun that Steph has posted on her website. I know myself and a few people have not read it in support of Steph. I don’t think that if you have read it that you are not supporting her, but I personally just can’t bring myself to do it. What are your feelings towards this controversy?

Try listening to ‘Beauty and the Beast” by Celine Dion when you read Bella and Edward dancing at the wedding, don’t you think it’s the perfect song?
Are there any other songs that aren’t in SM’s playlists that you think go with the book ?or just things that you think the characters would do?
I picture Rose playing “Who let the dogs out” really loud when Jacob is trying to sleep or Emmett and Alice singing along to “Girls just want to have fun” (I know that’s strange but I can see it).
Hey girls!!! I absolutely love your podcast! I don’t have a new fave character, so it is still bella. Bella is still my fave character because I think that I got to know more about her in breaking dawn. I thought she was so positive about her living and that she was strong enough to do it. Then when she changed, she had to go through not being able to see her daughter right away and that must have been hard. And when she finds out that charlie is coming over, she has to face the thirst and she does it and I just thought that it was really amazing. I thought it was really mom-ish for her to freak about kate doing that to renesmee but she still did it and she was able to learn how to let edward into her head! I think that bella is so brave and confident and I love her even more! oh, and, i’m really happy about jacob imprinting, because he can leave bella and edward alone and let them live in peace. I’m not a huge jacob fan (when it comes to him loving bella in that way).
1. I want to know how old will Renesmee actually be? It says in the book she stops aging 7 years after her birth….but if she grows quickly then how old will she look/be?
2. Do you think that Stephanie will write a book about Renesmee and Jacob? I dont think she will but i would love to find out what happened to them in the future. Do you think they end up together?(if renesmee is physically old enough)
3. Do you think that stephanie should write more about the other characters? I really love emmett and his personality he makes me laugh and personally i would love to read more about him and from his perspective. What characters would you like to read about?
4. Another question about Renesmee but do you think that its possible for Renesmee to have her own children? Maybe Stephanie should write something that explains about Renesmee in detail so we all know what shes cabable of etc
