I hope she takes her time to heal from this betrayal and then continue with the story of Edwards Poin of View……I can understand how this betrayal of trust would upset her………….I have read the draft she posted on her site and I still want to read the rest and I will still buy the book and read it side by side with Twilight………….there is so much more to Edward and so many of the other characters that one can not see thru Bella…………………Please Stephenie Take your time but please finish the book…………………

Well i think everyone is right!!! But the smartes one is not reading the book until she publishes it… i mean after all she would have never put it up in her webpage unless someone ILEGALLY spoiled the book for everyone… Also I have read stephenie’s post on her page and i dont think its fair that because some stupid loser stole the story out of her hands which is pretty rude… i hope he got fired for messing everything for everyone including stephenie…!! if anyone can get to her please tell her to not give up her dream of edwards POV…!! i mean after all i was tought to never ever give up your dream or your goals because of anything or someone!!! So im beggingg for her not to stop writing… although she’s really mad and doesnt know when shes restarting i dont think everyone has to pay becuase of someones stupid idea of spoiling our waiting for the awesome book..!! im sure everyone including stephenie want to see how edward comes through the novel! i mean its soo much diff from his point of view, as i read the first chapter only!! hope we got supportt!!! if anyone supports me and wants to add me its http://www.myspace.com/gabibeachbabe =)

She may not complete Midnight Sun, but Stephenie Meyers has posted what she has on her own site under the Midnight Sun Page.

Since she posted it, I read it and I would still pay for the book.

I can understand her pain, and I hope she heals from what probably feels like a betrayal.

Well not really at all.
But Bella began to hope that edward would stay.
when there was no chance that he would leave,

Dishearted_twilighter – you are definitely not the minority for feeling the way you do!!!

Whilst I feel similarly, I do feel for Stephanie and think perhaps she should have waited a little longer to address this violation. She was the one who handed out the draft (I don’t really care if it was a trusted person or who that person was!!!). I am not placing blame here, things happen that are sometimes out of people’s control but it seems to me that SM is placing blame by punishing her loyal, dedicated and and loving fan base by placing this project on hold.

I too, will not be participating in the over the top extravaganza that this has become!!

I will still remain totally addicted to my favourite saga and will remain in total awe and admiration of Mrs Meyer but as mentioned in a previous post I believe SM will forgive eventually, she will move on and she will deliver MS to her fans and complete this project not only for us but for herself!!

Have a little faith people!!!

Ok so I think I might be the only weirdo out here that absolutely loves the twilight saga but has been completely dishearten by SM’s reactions to the leak.
I understand she probably was very emotional when she wrote her post, My heart goes out to her.
and
I do not think it fair for SM to punish her loyal fans by withholding MS “indefinitely”
We deserved a better treatment after all is because of die-hard fans, myself included that she is where she is today.
Since this is a free country (last time I checked) and I have a right to my first amendment.
I won’t be participating in the support SM movement although I already sign several petitions for SM to finish MS.
at least not until SM owns to her share of the responsibility for the leak and quits blaming innocent adoring fans like myself or at least retracts her statements.
Until then there won’t be any SM loving from this dishearten fan, I know I’m the minority but that is the beauty in a democracy even the minority deserve a VOICE.

STEPHENIE MEYER IS A GENIUS!!!! I love every one of her books she had published and i feel for her since someone leaked her story. i would feel betrayed if that had ever happened to me. And i want to let her know it’s okay that she stopped writing Midnight Sun for a while but i do really want to finish reading it. I hope she can come back from this and write better than ever before. Really i will die if i don’t read Edward’s point of view. I am Team Swizterland just so you know. PLEASE CONTINUE BEING MY IDOL STEPHENIE!!

I feel really sorry for Stephenie. She said on her website that she gave the manuscript to a “trusted friend”. I can’t imagine how that would make me feel if someone leaked my work online and I completely understand her desicion to put a hold on MS. I do hope she finishes soon because I can’t go without Edward or Bella for more than a few months. I’m definently signing all the petitions and writing a letter. I <3 Twilight!!!
