Midnight Sun first 12 chapters were brilliant, better than Twilight. I love Edward personality and would like to read more from from him. Also, I wanted to know more about the Cullent. I want to see more of Jasper, Esme, Alice and Calisle in the rest of the book. It would be more interesting and give the book a unique feature that Twilight hasnt.

It was boring. All he ever did was follow Bella around. We don’t get any new insight, other than what happened to the jerks in the city. When he wasn’t following Bella, he was reading the minds of the people around Bella. Guess what? I already KNEW what happened with Bella because I read it in Twilight. Give me something different. The time that he wasn’t actually near Bella was when he was in Alaska…and out of over 200 pages of the story, we only got about a page of what happened there before he rushes back home to Bella! I really don’t understand either how it gives us a glimpse into how much he loved Bella, either. He thought she was boring until he smelled her. Then suddenly he was consumed by her. I didn’t see how lusting over the scent of her blood turned into loving her…unless you count the fact that he was completely mistaken about her personality. He thought she was brave and selfless, since he couldn’t read her mind he had no idea how irritatingly whiny she is. Stephenie will finish the books, though, because it’s way to profitable NOT to rehash the same garbage and sell it in a new wrapper.

How can you people read this….its not right….just give stephanie her space and if she chooses to finish it then good…and if not that’s too bad…but if you read the manuscript that’s cheating (and not to mention really screwed up) just be patient….please…and stephanie you are an amazing auther with great talent….i support your decision either way…

Stephenie, please get it together. I have read your first 12 chapters from your site because of the event of its leak online, which I had no idea in the first place and I am sorry to hear that it has happened. But are you going to let this defeat you? By all mean, take a break because you deserved it. Hopefully, in time, you will have the chance to take back the ball in your hands and prove to us that you’re bigger than this. I, for one, don’t believe in throwing the towel because it’s easier to give up than trying. I am sure you wouldn’t want your kids to give up on something they are great at. You have a gift and an once-in-a-life-time opportunity that not many of us have the privilege to earn…yet. Please don’t go down the road where your name will become “pulling a Stephenie Meyer” on all future authors’ readers.

hi Stephenie, the four books so far in the series are amazing and so is the host!
i love your work and i would really be grateful if you finished midnight sun, it was like killing me wanting to know what happened so when it was finally put on your website legally i allowed my self to read it and it is amazing! it is so amazing, words cant describe how much i found out from Edwards point of view as a reader.
i do not agree with whoever let the first 12 chapters on the internet but you shouldnt let that stop you, you are amazing and all of your fans will be behind you 100%, twilight has become our life!!
thank you for the books so far, hopefully you will decide to write some more on the cullen family, i would love to see what happens to renesmee and jacob also with charlie and renee :S

ok, so i know u probly don’t care what some random 11 year old thinks, but it’s not just me.i really want u to finish midnight sun becase i read all 4 & i LOVED THEM ALL!!!i even loved the darft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!every1 who has read twilight (that i know) really want u to finish it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i know your really pissed right now,& u have a good reason,& i know i’m being really selfish right now & it’s like asking a cat 2 do backflips,but plz, finish the story. just like, write a different story or something 2 help u cool down, & put all ur feelings in there or somwthing, but plz, even tho ur really pissed right now, finish the story!!! ugh! i h8 the person who leaked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stephenie, I can’t believe you stopped the manuscript just before the meadow scene with Edward and Bella. I read for 6 hours straight just so that I could hear Edward’s thoughts when he was in the meadow, glittering in the sun. YOU’RE KILLING ME GIRL!

its really good!

How can you guys read this? It’s not even published! Every one that reads midnight sun before it is published is just contributing to the copyright infringement! An author’s story is very special to them, and to have it stolen is just horrible. I love the twilight series, I always have. But why is everyone soooooo interested in reading it right now? If you ask me, It’s a shame. You can’t wait a mere year or so to get the book in your hands and read it then. And then insist that she keeps writing? You know how hard that must be? So I support Stephenie, whether she decides to keep writing midnight sun or not. Thank you for all the great books you have given us already, and here’s to hope that maybe, just maybe, we get what all you people were so anxious to read.

i have stayed awake virtually 24 hours each day of the last 3 days to read the twilight series…and do i regret any minute of it?? no way…these books are so, enthralling is the best word i can think of, and to have this completely different POV…it’s like a whole new story…now that i have read the bit of midnight sun that’s out i have to go re-read twilight…again…and just hope and pray that the author, who is to my opinion extremely talented, will re-think her very justified decision to hold off on finishing midnight sun. I too will be checking this and many other websites as frequently as possible with fingers crossed (it might be hard to type that way but i can do it) that there will be good news on the horizon. Being an avid reader, i can’t imagine reading another book with edward and bella racing thru my mind to distract me. So here’s to hoping that we have a finished product to relish in soon..

Stephanie, I hope you will complete the book. I’m not ashamed to say that I read the draft, and so did my 20 year old daughter. We have discussed the draft and love the way Edward describes his feelings for Bella. I have been a vampire story fan since I was a young girl. This is the reason, the perfect , never dying love story that will go on for ages. Thank-you for your ability to tell wonderful stories.

the draft really put it into my perspective how much edward loves bella.
i never imagined it was this much, i didnt think he had fallen in love with her until after port angeles.
he is dazzling me all over again.
