They don’t look anything alike, they both are adults. arent they supposed to be teenagers. he looks nothing like edward just a frat guy in college and she looks nothing like innocent Bella. This is a BAD photo for whoever thought of this.

guys guys! calm down, they’re not supposed to be ‘Bella and Edward’ they’re just using the cool way the EW cover had of setting up the shot. It is flatter, i agree, but they’re not portraying soulmates or possibly even lovers. Its just a picuture that was inspired by the EW cover. I personally like the cover better, because that model is certainly no Rob, and that shot had alot more meaning and whatnot

in my opinion the problem is they look a little to old. That bella looks like she is in her 30′s while edward looks like maybe um 20-25. bella would NEVER wear a dress like that anyways so really it has no resemblance to twililight what so ever.

What’s with ugly Edwards and Bellas in horrible low-cut dresses these days? And the apple? Seriously people? The meaning of the cover is totally misused. The spirit of the book (not to mention Edward’s and Bella’s relationship) is totally smothered. Ugh.

I could go on and on, but I’ll stop my criticising comments there. I have to say at least is was better than that awful EW cover, not that that is saying much.

To put it bluntly, I think this picture is just sad. It just is. These people look like they have been photo-shopped into the picture to be together. They don’t even look like they acknowledge each other. I don’t know why the people involved with this photo shoot thought that they could recreate the Robert/Edward and Kristen/Bella chemistry. Because they can’t.
Plus, I think the apple is just tacky.

I dont think they convy the emotion, that Rob and Kristin does. Simply put, Its flat. Plus is it just me or do they look way too old to be Bella and Edward?

it is better than he EW cover i guess…
but they look bored and like they’ve been standing there for a long time- which they prob were but still, it is emotionless.
and if ur gonna be edward you have to have gold eyes or at least brown- not blue.
plus- if you want it to be “twilight inspired” but edward in a tan sweater and jeans and bella in a t-shirt and jeans or somehing. or at least have bella wearing her prom dress, that would be a cool pic
