I also agree with the previous comments – – a good score adds immensely to the emotion generated by the movie. I hope when the movies comes to DVD it will include Rob’s version of Bella’s Lullabye as an added scene.

I sometimes listen to my Harry Potter soundtracks and I can feel the excitement without even seeing the movie.

Like they got to hear the advanced copy, and omgosh, Bella’s Lullaby has strings in it. Sorry, but I don’t quite remember Edward hooking up a whole orchestra for his little song for Bella. lol

Don’t get me wrong, I like the hip-funk they’ve placed on the soundtrack…. but a movie is never complete without a beautiful, orchestral score. Think how scores have MADE movies in the past:
Gladiator (Hans Zimmer)
Lord of the Rings (Howard Shore)
HARRY POTTER (how can we forget John Williams?)
Batmen Begins (Hans Zimmer)
Beetlejuice (Danny Elfman)
Amelie (Yann Tiersen)
A Series of Unfortunate Events (Thomas Newman)
Etc, etc…

Come on people, a rock song cannot substitute a film score!

Welll i think that “red mist” IS bella’s lullaby BUT only part of it. According to that EW article about someone hearing the soundtrack/commenting on it, they said that Bella’s lullaby is 2:20 min long and that it has a piano play simple notes but it relies heavily with a lot of strings. IT FITS THE DESCRYPTION COMPLETELY!! But to remind you again, “red mist” is only 2:02 min long but i think its just part of bella’s lullaby (if you listen to it, it just stops. doesnt stop at an end). and plus that song was played on the trailer and (usually) everysong played on trailers of the movie/ the movie itself HAS to be on the soundtrack. So what do you think? im very sure it is Bella’s lullaby. Plus the song called Red Misr, is that its actual name? cuz they dont have it on the soundtrack and they would DEFINATELY have that song on the soundtrack! So listen to red mist, red my ideas, and tell me what you think!! Thank you so much!! Great job Guys!!!
