I love Twilight, both the book and the film, but even I, a humongous fan, don’t want to see it as a TV series. How can they tell Bella and Edward’s story week after week? They’d change the entire storyline, and let’s face it, there is no other Edward than Rob Pattinson. What are they thinking?

I’m curious about this TV series, however, I have been watching Filipino shows since I was born and I am certain that it will not be good. I’m proud to be a Filipino but we do need help in the movie industry. Main problems: a) CGI. How will they make Edward run and sparkle? It will be more terrible than the movie is. If you’ve ever seen a Filipino show like Dyosa or one of the numerous superhero shows we have, the CGI is just so fake. b) We use Tanglish which tends to butcher lines at times. c) Another thing that we get from the U.S. Oh when will it ever end???

I do want to see Rayver and Shaina though. I absolutely love Rayver and Shaina is an amazing actress. If they still plan on making this TV series I will definitely watch it. I will wince every single time they do something awkward (which will be 98 percent of the time) but I will watch it because I’m a Twilighter. I am not, however, expecting too much for it. As of now, my expectations are extremely low.

the whole idea is one big JOKE!
first of all,
the cullens and the hales are from alaska so they are definitely not filipinos!
and this concept of having a local version of the Twilight ruins the culture of the Philippines,
as well as the western cultures.
we all know where vampires are said to be from,
and ancient filipinos never did believe in vampires, we have the “aswang” and “multo”
and the takipsilim definitely contradict the rule of nationalism.

another point is that the actors are not even the top actors of the country.
rayver cruz and shaina magdayao are not even good looking for crying out loud!

this is way beyond anything.
ABS_CBN Should know their limits!
if they want to have a show with good quality, they should try creating more original storylines!
imitating foreign hits such as twilight is the cheapest, most embarrassing thing to do for the filipinos!

once they launch TAKIPSILIM on air,
it would be ABSCBN’s downfall
and everyone would be going for GMA.
i suggest you back down now or forever be miserable and hated not only by filipinos,
but also, twilight fans all over the globe!
