You do see the retarded logic in this? Twilight had a much smaller budget than The Dark Knight. It’s not exactley hard for Twilight to make over four times it’s own budget.

i’m ashamed i watched it. i hate hsm but i still think hsm3 was better than horton hears a who. it should have made the list as #10 or something.

The change of director, not sure about. I think Hardiwck did a great job with what she had to work with (money wise), has an established relationship with the cast, crew, writer and a vision of it. Then the talk about replacing Lautner. Why fix what isn’t broken? Anyway, when the profit is figured, is that just from theater release or do the DVD sales figure into the over all total when that’s released?

#4 is really good, for the year. But oh well. top 10 is good enough.

though New Moon — even though i’m dying to see it — i think its being a bit rushed…but that’s just me.

Considering that Twilight grossed 4 times more than it made Summit should give New Moon a bigger budget, for special effects like the pack phasing.

Isn’t it interesting that it made 4x more than the cost to create it!?! Where is that money going?? Seems that Summit could kick in a few extra million to the New Moon budget…………..Hummmmmm. I am immensely more disappointed in the fact they are RUSHING New Moon on such a SMALL budget than the change in director or the possible recast of Taylor for Jacob. That is a lot of profit that will not be put back in to the franchise. This post make me more nervous and anxious about New Moon.
