Why should Kassie read Twilight AGAIN?

Feb 17th, 2009 | By | Category: Featured Articles, Question of the Week, Site News

This week we are going to discuss the idea of Kassie REreading Twilight.  I (Kallie) have read the book three times, and do make it a habit to read my favorite books more than once.  Kassie has NEVER read a book more than once, and I want YOU to tell her why she should!  So here is your Question of the Week…

Ok, well let me say first off I love your podcast. I first read the Twilight Series about a year and a half ago, because my best friend since kindergarten told me I was exactly like Bella. (Hate blood, clumsy as heck, save the world deal, etc…)
Anyways, my other best friend, Sarah, got me into your podcast because I love Twilight and we talk about it for hours. We’re actually in the process of trying to start our own podcast. The main reason she got me hooked onto yours, however, is because I absolutely DESPISE Jacob Black. Seriously, I can talk about it for hours without stop.
So to actually answer your question, I’ve always been an avid reader. But to be quite honest, though I’ve read all the Harry Potter books at least a thousand times, I never really picked up the Twilight books again. I recently finished rereading the entire series for the second time, about a year and half after I first started reading them. Honestly, rereading them gives you a greater perspective on it. The first time I read it is for the story, the love and romance and all that. But the second time lets you really delve into the characters. For example, I now really understand Rosalie, and even, though it pains me to say it, Jacob. Especially because I read it so long after I had first started it, it made me see why I had fallen in love with Bella and Edward’s love in the first place. You’d think it would be boring, but to be honest it was fascinating to read it when you already know what’s going to happen. The suspense may be gone, and you’ll always remember that excitement when you first pick up a book, but rereading it lets you appreciate it more greatly. My BFF Sarah had honestly never finished a book in her life when she got hooked on this series, and she know LOVES reading. and my little sister never reads anything else! She even bought her own set because she destroyed my Twilight and New Moon!
So, please, at least try to reread them. And if you can’t bring yourself to reread New Moon, (I don’t blame you- it’s so dull without Edward!!!!) then at least pick up Eclipse or Breaking Dawn and flip through them.
Lots of love, and keep up the great work!

  2. Carrie says:

    Cassie,
You should read the whole series again because now that you know that bella ends up with edward in the end, the parts with jacob won’t make you so frustrated because now you know that he’s just a horny teenager waiting for rennesmee.

Also because when you first read a book it’s so good that you just wizz through it which means Dun dun duhhhh. You probably missed something. EXAMPLE : before I discovered twilight i was a big harry potter fan, I read the books like 5 times and everytime i read it i picked up something new from the story, Which reminds me since i found twilight i haven’t touched a harry potter book. . LOL. .. . . . . . I should probably read them again before the movie comes out this summer.

ummm. . . ran out of reasons. Love the podcast! I just wanted to mention that i was at school yesterday talking to my friends and i caught myself saying “heavens to betsy” then they all gave me weird looks. Like this —–> 0.o

    hey guys! love your podcast!
ok, ive only read twilight 2 times. it is one of my favorite books, but i found that when i read it the second time it wasnt as good. i found i got more from it the first time, and it didnt seem as special/magical the second time. instead you should think about reading the books that edward’s character was named off of. jane autsen’s “sense and sensibility” and charlotte bronte’s “jane eyre” contained loving guys also named EDWARD, and thats where stephenie found the name.
    i still am twilight-obsessed.
    love you guys.

  4. Andrea Cagiuoa (Ka-gee-wa) says:

Dear Ms. Kallie, I love this question of the week! My sister is not much of a reader as well and I’m the fanatic who would read Twilight more than twice. Kassie should read Twilight again for the following reasons:

    1. Understanding some hidden clues…for some humor
example: when i reread the book, there was an excerpt of Bella in her car and right before she gets out she states (something like) “I don’t know why I was scared to go in [school], it wasn’t like anyone was going to bite me.”
    2. If you read midnight sun, you could pick up on some inside jokes like why he keeps laughing every other word Bella spits out
    3. Some eye candy for the imagination won’t hurt. It was like I fell in love with a fictional character all over again, even though I was still crazy for him.
    4. Did you finish reading THE HOST? Well, if you want to scurry away from that book, Twilight would be your second choice. So we (or I at least) expect some Twilight rereadin or the host finished… pleeeeeeeeeeeease! LOL
    5. We can do some more (I am singing…by the way) SUPPORTER SPECULATIOOOOOOONS! We can get more in depth with the book and see how your point of view changed from the first time you read it.

I love your show and I hope I my message is read on the show because I would find that so awesome. And if I am read, I just want to let you know during that week about the Twilight character names, you helped me decide I will name my first son Anthony (Edward’s middle name) and my first daughter Alice. Even though I’m only seventeen, I have great ambitions to do so and to marry a man with the last name Cullen (fingers crossed!) so when I graduate from med school everyone will call me DR.CULLEN! Thanks for reading!

    Love and Fangs!!!
    Andrea

kassie you should re read twilight again because thats just how amazing it is. and you get to read alot of thing you might not of understood before and catch alot of things you might not of before. i’ve fully read it 3 times myself but love to go back and re read my favorite parts. each time i read it i’ve found something new that i didnt see before.
i know your a slower reader but thats ok you should still re read twilight again, trust me you’ll wonder why you didnt do it sooner!

  7. 20twilight09 says:

oh and page 114 is my absolute favorite i always keep my bookmark there thewhole chapter is great too

  8. Mellie says:

I have read the whole twilight series more times that i can count (At least 20 times). And even though i have read it so many times i always find something new each time i read it, whether it is a spelling mistake or little fact i may have missed before. Each time i read it i like it a little bit better than i did before.

  9. RDL says:

Cuz!! That’s why!! lol jk Well, Kassie the best reason is that you get to relive all the greatness that is the beginning of Bella’s and Edward’s love. Plus you get to catch somethings you mave have missed the first time around. I for instance, didnt notice the little joke Bella makes to herself on her first day of school: “I dont know what I was afraid of, it’s not like someone was gonna bite me.” I that was hilarious the second time around because obviously, someone did. I rarely read books more than once (unless for class) but these I’ve read the whole serious at least 2-3 times. I’ve read my favorite book, A density of Souls, 2 but thats about it.

-Note: I dont recommend that book to evryone, it has an aquired taste due to its ‘raciness’ .

  10. Fleur says:

    Hey!
    I love your podcasts!
I think Kassie should read twilight again, because when you re-read it you capture moments you didn’t see when you first read it as some people tend to rush it the first time just to get to the end. You can experience the love between Edward and Bella again before Jacob comes along and ruins it. lol and you find humour and jokes in it which are very subtle.
GO ON KASSIE, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO.
    xxxx

  11. Bea says:

    Heya Kassie and Kallie!!
I think that you should read Twilight again. This is because you have obviously had a break from reading them so you will enjoy reading them again!!
I read all of them for the first time in december and i read them all in a week and a half!! So i had a break from twilight otherwise i would have got more obsessed that i am now. I am reading another series of books then i plan to go back to twilight!!!
I always re-read book because i read books v quickly!! I hav read the entire HP series 7 times in 3yrs!!!!!!!! and thats 7 books!!!

Kassie, read it!! You know u want 2!!! Just imagine the happyness of bella and edward hehe!!!!!! And if Jacob annoys u then imagine the movie being played :D!!! btw i’m british but i live abroad in africa currently and my friend Dani got hold of a twilight dvd, pirated and i watched it again!!!!! but its not as good as the book 🙁

    Go On Kassie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Brandi says:

Ok I have read Twilight (just the first one not the whole series) 8 times and there is really only one reason, and its only 3 words!

    Because it’s Twilight!

I have never read another book more then once (not even Pride & Prejudice, which before Twilight I would have said was my fave.) but, I am seeing a pattern with myself and anything Stephenie Meyer writes. I read and re-read and re-re-read everything of hers!!!. So if you need more than the reason I gave I am pretty sure you can find it in the comments above, because they are pretty good (Oh and this might have been mentioned) Stephenie herself has asked that everyone read New Moon twice. Because the first time around you are to overwelmed by Edward that you miss one Jacob. I KNOW I KNOW, I hated Jacob too, then a read New Moon again, and he really is a great guy. So if you read New Moon again you might as well start from the beginning and go to the end!!! 🙂

  13. Joannamp says:

Kassie… i really, TRULLY, reccomend for you to Reread Twilight. The reason? you get new information that you didn’t get the first time you read it.
When i read the series, i skipped around new moon because there was a LOOOONG hold list in my local library and i received Eclipse first, then i read New Moon… it was a bad experience because i understood nothing, nada, zero from eclipse… therefore making me read it yet again and turned out…i had missed many things from both books… okay, okay…maybe thats not a good enough reason… i’ll tell you a good reason… EDWARD!
    another one…
    SEXY VAMPIRES!
    another one?
    IT’S TWILIGHT FOR GOODNESS SAKE!
now… get yourself Twilight out of your book shelf and dust it off… because you’re reading it AGAIN… you are going to be really greatful at the end.

Now… sit back…relax… and let TWILIGHT guide your senses…lol
    not literally but…oh well..
    ENJOY!!
    ^^!!
    You may thank me later..

  14. Stephanie says:

Hey Kassie, I want to make this short and sweet. I am actually in the same boat as you, I’ve never reread a book before Twilight. But something about Twilight compelled me to read it again. You take so much more out of it if you read it again, especially after reading the whole series and knowing your thoughts of certain characters by the end. I didn’t like Jacob at first either, but I reread Twilight after reading all the books and started to like him a bit more, and because of that I was able to see him in a new light in my 2nd read 🙂 You should try, believe me it’s worth it. And hey, I’m a slow reader too, so that’s no excuse.

  15. Team Edcob says:

Oki doki Kassie.. I can see you have got a loads of others advice here.. And they are all good, but mine’s the best of course..x) (I really liked number three ;D )

    anyways.

Here comes some few, well, uhm, reasons for rereading twilight. Which you have to do since Kallie have made it as a question of the week..!!! 😀 PRESSURE!!

one) You said that you thought Bella was annoying in the last podcast. (WHAT THE HEK?!?!?!?!) that is a HUGE reason to reread twilight. Not that it’s allowed to have opinions, but when you are so complitely wrong about something it has to be a reason for it, so fresh up your memory..(IT’S NO TIME TO WASTE!!) And I know you are a Jacob-hater, another reason. I’m on my second round as well, and before I was a team edward fan. Now I’m a team Edcob fan, because I don’t think I can choose between them.. Even though it’s Bella and Edward who belongs togehter of course.

Two) I know you are a buzzy woman with husband and kids (with wonderful names, I just can’t remember the names, but I can recall they were really cute). But in the last podcasts you seems to be a little in the background. I started to listen to you in November, and I’ve downloaded every single podcast on my iPod, and I can hear a small, uhm, well. okay, This is hard to say.. I just feel that you are a little bit more in the background now, compared to 2 months ago.. I love you whining and singing and want to hear it more..! It would be funny if you could bring up some cool twilight details, sometimes.. I don’t want to make you feel bad or anything, you are two wonderful sisters with so much good to say..!! So that was maybe not a reason for you to read twilight just an advice.

Three) Ask yourself: do you remember what you pictured in your head when you read it?If you don’t you know what you have to do. Since you have seen the movie, maybe you have started to see the twilightuniverse as it’s pictured in the movie. I starts to do that very easily. So I use to draw it down so I don’t forget it. Since it’s over six months since you read it last time maybe it’s time to fresh up your memory. The real universe isn’t always the one who is on the screen. 😀

That’s my three reasons AT THE MOMENT (!!) I’m sure I’ll figure out some later..
    Love your podcast.

  16. Sami.Salvo says:

Kassie reading Twilight again is one of the most fabulous ideas ever. So here are my Top 10 Reasons Kassie Should ReRead Twilight:

Top Ten Reasons Kassie Should ReRead TWILIGHT! :

    1. Refresh you rmemory on all things Twilight
    2. It’s Twilight (Whether or not that makes sense is irrelevant, just because it’s Twilight is a reason upon itself)
    3. Sets you up to reread New Moon and the rest of the series.
    4. If you read MS in conjunction with Twilight it gives everything more meaning and some stuff makes more sense than before
    5. Twilight Never Get Boring, you catch something new everytime you read it
    6. Gives you a chance to fall in love with it again
    7. Can compare it to the movie with renewed vigor
    8. Meet the characters again and see how the story began
    9. (Because I know you are really busy) You can skip over some of the less interesting/exciting parts and save time
    10. You love Twilight so there is no valid reason not to

I myself have read Twilight a lot. The exact count may scare you…..it scares my friends and family.

So Kassie you should DEFINETLY reread Twilight.

    Sam

P.S. I don’t like rereading books either so I see your point. But still….think of all the reason to reread it. They overpower the one tiny reason not to.

  17. AddieBells says:

Okay, so first off i would just like to say that i think Kassie should REread Twilight because when you re-read a story you sometimes pick up on small details that you may have missed the first time you read it.
Also, you might be able to understand the book better than the first time and you will be able to relax more and just enjoy the story.

Well thats all i have for now, but ill post another comment if i come up with anything else.

Keep up the great work!!!!! Love the podcast!

  18. ashley says:

just let me start out by saying i love you podcast Kassie should reread it to pick up on stuff you might have missed the fris time i all most done w breaking dawn and will be rereading all the books once i get them back

  19. Michelle NYC says:

Kallie, if you don’t want to read the book again, may I suggest you get the audio book or audio books. I have read the books 5X, but now I’m addicted to the audio books. I’m on my 4th time through the audio version. My sister got the complete set for me for Christmas. Totally enjoying them!!! Plus you get a different view when you hear some reading the book to you. So many different afflictions that I never even read. Especially with Jacobs character. You also get to hear the correct way to pronounce character names. Plus, for me anyway the end of Twilight in the audio book always gets me with that musical ending!!

  20. Sally says:

Hey Kassie! You should absolutely re-read Twilight because you pick up on all the little details that you missed the first time. I myself have read Twilight so many times that I have multiple copies because my first are so mangled and used. It’s probably been a while since you have read Twilight, and now with the movie I would definitely recommend re-reading the book because you really have a better appreciation for the story and the characters. It’s also fun reading the book before Bella knows about the vampires and watching her figure it out, when you are full aware of the outcome. You will probably even like the book better than before, because when I re-read Breaking Dawn I liked it much more the second time. The big picture is already in place, so the awesome description and fun details are really emphasized. Love your show so much!

    -Sally

  21. Caitlin says:

Kassie should totally re read Twilight because sometimes you miss stuff that you’ve read before or you forgot something that happened in the book. Like when I re read Breaking Dawn I totally forgot that Bella showed Edward some memories she has saved for him. Also, it is just an awesome book! It’s not hard to read it and it won’t take her very long.

  22. bCullen says:

OMG!!! Kassie u have to read it again if u read it again u pick up on all the little nuances that u missed the first time plus who doesn’t want to fall in love with Edward all over again plus u start to appreciate the characters so much more the first time i read through the books i hated Jacob (i hate how they call him jake srry off topic) but by the third time i had sympathy for his point of view and actually liked him i know amazing right? plus the second time i read twilight on her first day of school Bella said something like what am i so worried about no ones going to bite me i literally died laughing in the middle of my health class lolz but anyways back to the point its so much better the second time around Kassie not to mention the third and im about to start my 4th time right now lolz its a hard addiction to quit

  23. ReeRee says:

omg! how could you NOT read it again? it is awesome! it will totally help you understand the characters more, and i for one, always skip something when i read a book the first time, so it is a necessity to read things twice for me, and you know what is going on so if you didn’t get something the first time around, it would make more sense now.
    LUV the podcast!!
    Ree

  24. Michelle Patrick says:

Oh my heavens—123 people gave you reasons as to why you should read this book twice…oh the pressure to answer uniquely is overwhelming!
My answer is plain and simple. The first time you read a book you are pretty much racing through it in excitement to get through it and see what happens. I feel that it really makes the experience lose the depth of the story some. When you re-read it you are more patient and willing to see more of the story. You’re never going to know how you feel about reading a book twice until you actually try!
Laughing outloud today while I listened to the podcast while I was all by my lonesome…wondering what someone would think as they saw me giggling off and on while I listen to you two!

  25. Caitlin says:

I came up with another reason! Kassie should read Twilight again because you started the podcast for a reason, that reason is all of our love for Twilight. You wouldn’t have a podcast if it wasn’t for Twilight. So Kallie should definitely read Twilight again!!!

  26. Caitlin says:

Hahahaha I meant Kassie not Kallie.

  27. Stephanie says:

Kassie you should really read the whole series over again because the fisr time it`s all new to you and when you read it again you get the full affect and you can just enjoy it over and over again

  28. kaitlynne says:

hey kassie you should read twilight again because really come on why not. but i dont read books more than once too but i have read twilight 3 times now and i love it so much. it is so much better the second and the thrid time around and why not read the medow sence again? lol read twilight again you will not regreat it!

keep going with the podcast i love it!

  29. Jamie says:

Hi! I think that you would notice and know a lot more about the series then you sub-consciously realize, but don’t remember. You’ll get new ideas and that “oh, Edward!” feeling when Edward and Bella first meet again. And his sultry responses. It could be somewhat time-consuming, but its worth it if you want to know all the Twilight details. Maybe reading it again will be like the first time you cracked the book open and found your obsession! Keep up the podcasting. 🙂

  30. Hoppie says:

Well, now, I’m not so sure Kassie SHOULD re-read the books. There are advantages to re-reading books, but if Kassie is happy with reliving the stories through the podcast discussion and the movies and isn’t particularly desiring to re-read them, perhaps she should save her reading time for Stephenie’s upcoming release of “The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide” and whatever else she wants to read. An advantage to re-reading the books is that you can pick up some details that you glossed over the first time. However, when re-reading a book, sometimes it loses the specialness and excitement of discovering the plot and the characters for the first time.

When and if Kassie is ready, I think she’ll re-read the books. Of course, Kallie may make her do it before she’s ready!

Love your podcast! You two are so much fun!

    – Hoppie

  31. Stacy says:

Kassie you should re-read twilight (the entire series) again one because you can compare and contrast between the things they added and took out from the movie. New Moon especialy when I was listening to the podcast titled ” the longest podcast ever” you said you like Jacob better so you can see if that changes your oppion on Bella and Jacob. I myself ( is that one word I think it’s one word) 😉 have read the books so many times my mom bought them for me in spanish so I would learn something 🙂
Come on Kassie you know you want to all the other kids are doing in
    Love you guys
    Stacy
Ps . I live in Texas also! 🙂

  32. Ashlie says:

Reading it a second time, after finishing the saga, you’ll see so many things in a different light because now you know how everything plays out. For example, my theory about Jacob being drawn to Bella because she carries the “Renesme egg” is hinted at throughout all of the books. Thanks & I love the podcast and website although this is my first time writing in. You both rock!

P.S. After careful consideration I have decided that I am Team Cullen;-)

  33. Megan says:

OMG! Kassie needs to read Twilight again because there are some little things she could’ve missed with reading it only once! Although Kallie probably told her all the things she missed by now. She needs to read it again because everyone needs their daily dose of twilight and she’s probably deprived by now! Go read it woman!

  34. Jayne says:

It isreally interesting to read Twilight again, especailly if you have read the Midnight Sun pages. I enjoyed going through and reading what Bella was experiencing, but knowing what was going on in Edwards head at the same time.

  35. Des says:

Kassie, just looking at the book makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, I want to read it again!!! Come on…you can do it!!!

  36. Karo says:

    hello there,

I have read it 5 times and i could do it again without getting bored one single time
and personally, I love to memorize the twilight quotes and comparing and discussing them with my friends

Besides, twilight is an addiction and absolutely no one can survive without it.

so I would recommend reading twilight 10000000 times just to discuss the quotes and get to know the book by heart (unrealistic but cool) so yeah. sorry if my English is bad i’m from Austria.

    love the podcast
    karo

  37. Team Edcob says:

    hey again..!

To get the audio books is a really really really great idea…!!! I don’t have them myself.. (I kinda feel that stories loose something when I hear it, not reading it. But the is not a problem here.. ( ; ) but maybe I’ll buy them..
Here’s some reasons to buy the audio books.:
    1) You can listen to it while you are sitting in your car on your way to work.. Or if you’re walking or cycling you can download them on your mp3 (if you have one, if not I recommend you to buy one..! ).

    2) If you run or do some training of any kind, it gets a lot more fun when you’re listening to something.

    3) You can switch over places, and listen to something over and over again.

    4) You can work while you’re listening or if you’re making dinner for your family it’s a perfect time to make more interesting, if you don’t like to cook.

    5) You’re not loosing valuable energy, sometimes I gets tired of reading for several hours but not by listening to the same story.

So… this is some few tips. Audio books are a little but more expensive then books, but maybe you have some family members who want to give them to you in a birthday present or something.. *Kallie ; D*
    And I have a small question here;
My 12 years old brother borrowed my twilight book one week ago, and he really enjoyed it. And wants to borrow new moon as well. I’m kind of selfish when it comes to books and don’t want a lot of people to read the books I lovbe. It’s okay, I’ve (finally) understood that I can’t do anything about twilight when it comes to people all around the earth.. BUT my I don’t know about my brother.. It’s not just that, I don’t think he is ready for that kind of book…. I mean, he’s is very old for he’s age, and reads faster than anyone I know, but…
In one of your podcasts you are talking about that you don’t want your daughters to read it when they becomes 11, or around that.. I don’t know about him either..

So if some of you who reads this could write me an answer here along with your answers to Kassie, and tell me what you think, I would be so happy.. Thank you.

    Thale..

  38. Team Edcob says:

sorry, if my grammar is bad, I’m from Norway.. ;D

  39. Ella says:

First off, just wanted to say that I LOVE the podcast; Kassie and Kallie you are hilarious and have got me through many hours of boring homework and studying!

So, why should Kassie re-read Twilight?

Well, part of Twilight’s success is that it is a real page-turner. I know the first time that I read it I was urgently rushing through to find out what happened – would Edward kill Bella, or would they get together? However, the second time you can go slower, and truly appreciate the wonderful atmosphere that Stephenie creates, as well as re-living Edward and Bella’s budding relationship, which after all is where it all began.

I also found that the second time I read it, because I then knew Edward and his motivations really well, I was able to see exactly where he was coming from with everything he said. Whilst on the first time reading I thought he was moody and stand-offish at first, the second time his brooding silences and sometimes sharp remarks take on a completely different meaning, as you see that he is just trying to protect Bella (this makes me love him even more!) There really is a double-meaning in everything he says, and I think you can only appreciate this once you have read the book once and know what he is thinking.

Another reason to re-read Twilight is, of course, the amazing descriptions of Edward. Seriously, picturing Edward in your head NEVER gets old!

Thanks again for the awesome podcast, lots of love from England!

  40. Lisa-Sophie says:

    Kassie,
You definitely re-read Twilight. I’m really suprised,(which is an understatement) that you haven’t read a second time.
The first Book is a gem.
I can never get enough of it.

Some reasons why you should re-read it:

    1. Because you know what’s going to happen, you’re not going to rush and may discover new details.

    2. If you have read Midnight Sun you can compare the first few chapters. How was it for Edward getting to know and love Bella? And vice verca.

    3. Trust me, you will absolutely and totaly fall in love again with the characters. Not that you’re not adore them now but it’s going to remind you what made you love them in the first place.

    4. Since you know a lot more about vampires and even Bella, tons of things are going be in a new light for you.

    5. Who does not want to fall in love over an over again? Not rereading Twilight is a bit masochistic if you ask me.

    6. I bet there’re a few things that happend in the first book and you have forgotten, of just haven’t thought about. Refresh your memory, you’ll love it.

    7. So the movie’s almost out on DVD? But you still got time to read Twilight again to compare those two. Book? Film? Book? Film? ( of course the answer is both!!!)

    8. Remember that it was the first book that got you into the Twilight Saga and Fandom. It’s like an old trusty friend. Go on pay him a visit.

    9. You think you know everything there is to know and you’re going to put the book aside soon after you started it? I don’t think so. It’s more likely that it’s going to grip you and won’t let you go.

    10. Come on. There’re so many people giving you advices and thousands of reason why you shoul re-read it.
(that should be reason enough to do it)
That means that sooo many of us love, yes adore the book.
I don’t think that there are tons of books that are really and truly worth it that you re-read them.
But Twilight is one of them.

    Anyway.
    Love your Podcast.
Even Austria is listening to you.
(Please say that you don’t need to look that country up)

    Holaaa
uhh yehh ive actuaaly never re-read twilight but if kassie does i will (:

  42. Kelsey says:

Kassie, you should reread Twilight again because you can fully appriciate it more. You can also read in more in detail and point out things that you missed the first time you read it. You can expierence all of the first time things between Edward and Bella from the first time that Bella sees Edward,to the meadow scene,to Edward saving Bella from James. You can also compare and contrast the book and the movie. The characters change so much throughout the series, that you can compare how they were from the first book to the end of the series. Kassie, you really need to reread Twilight. You will get so much more out of it the second time you read it than you did the first time you read it. Kassie, please reread Twilight.

    Love your podcast!!!

  43. Kassie you should really re-read twilight becase well first why wouldn’t you want to read it again and because you catch a lot more things the second time you read it. The first time you read it i mean you get the storyline, but the secind time you read it you get the facts that you didn’t get the first time no matter how well you can comprehend. For example I read it once and I got it then I went back and read it again and it was like it was a completely different story. One thing is that when I was picturing the story in my head as I was reading chapter 13 (confessions) and the setting completely changed I pictured a completely different meadow and it was really cool. So I know you’re probably goona read and say this a lot tonight but Kassie you just have to re-read Twilight. You’ll be glad that you did

P.S. Love your show keep it up

  44. Sarah L. says:

    you should reread twilight because……
everytime you pick up something new
sometimes you just see something edward says differently because you have read the rest of the books
    plus it just plain fun
    =]

  45. AbbyCullen says:

I think Kassie should read Twilight again so she can pick up on any details she missed. I flew threw the book so fast, when I reread it I learned new details that I had missed the first time around. I’ve read it about 6 times already, and each time I learn something new I hadn’t noticed before. Kassie, just read it ONE more time. You’ll be glad that you did when you learn new stuff!

  46. Rhianna J. says:

I really think Kassie should read twilight more that once i have just recently got addicted to the twilight series i have just stared to read new moon for my second time and Im planning to read the whole series more that twice. Also when you read for the second time you understand it more and might get some details that you never got the first time. Like the first time i read twilight i thought that charlie was her brother because she said she was scared of the 1 hour ride with charlie and if i were her i would hate to have to drive with my brother for an hour and most kids all there dads DAD not by there first name. and it will be funnier the second time around because you understand the jokes and the stuff he is keeping away from her and it is so fun to read twilight more than once.

  47. Jasper says:

Read twilight one more time cause you guys do a podcast on it gosh Kassie.

  48. jessica m. says:

    LOVE LOVE LOVE THE PODCAST!
well my english teacher has this saying “kissing a book more than once”. like when you are dating a guy the first kiss is not always so good, but once you kiss him again you notice something new and you enjoy it just a bit more. So by kissing Twilight more than once you will pick up on so many more things that you never noticed the first time you read it. kind of a weird analogy but, it works.

  49. Lizzy says:

    OH Yes Kassie
You should absolutely read it again and again you pick up on so much more than you did the first time especially if you take your time because if you love a book you often read it quite fast in order to find out what happens next. In my opinion re-read it numerous times im on my 6th! Also try reading the Saga backwards its really helps you realize many things.

AND I love you guys sooo much!!
    Best. Podcast. Ever.

    Hey Kassie,

How about listening to it… I have heard all the books from the series twice and I love the experience and the rythm that audiobook leaves you, I’ve also read it multiple times and each time it leaves me with something new and I get some bits and pieces that I missed before.

Think about it, its always good to reread books, besides Twilight I have read Pride and Prejudice dozens of times because of my crush on Mr. Darcy and now I find myself reading more and more of Twilight because of Edward. lol

I love the podcast and keep it going, you guys are funny and Im recruting all my friends to subscribe to the podcast!
