I’m scared too that they will ruin it, but I think it would be hard to ruin it though. Suzanne Collins is adapting the screenplay. So I think that helps because she will be able to add the important stuff and do it correctly.

This is so AWESOME to hear! Thanks for posting. I just read the book this past week, and I just kept thinking WOW! This sure would make a great movie. I pictured Adam Lambert from American Idol as my PEETA. I thought his character was adorable. I love the line from Peeta where he says, “So have u come to finish me off, sweetheart?” I love that he calls Katniss sweetheart. Very cute. I think movie would be great and I hope u all decide to do a Hunger Games podcast and website! I would be a fan, u have done a great job with the Twilight series.

i just read this on a movie blog and rushed over here to see if you guys had heard. SOOO excited for this and also excited that i finally get to follow it from start to finish in the conception to production and release progress. woop.

All I can say is YES YES YES!!!! That makes me so happy! But I am concerned about one thing, if they stay true to the book, with all the violence I think it would be extremely hard to get a rating that would allow teens to see it. I LOVE the book, but it is really graphic in terms of violence and I just don’t know how they can stay true to the book and keep a PG-13 rating.
