Only 3 Days Left!

Mar 17th, 2009 | By | Category: Featured Articles, Site News

There are only 3 days left until the release of Twilight on DVD! Today’s question is: Which scene missing from the movie would you most want to see? Kallie: I really felt the Meadow scene was not done justice, so I am going to say that one! Kassie: More in the bio class. Lexine: Like I said, i haven’t been watching any of the new footage coming out during the promotion of the dvd… so it may be in there, but i want to see the blood typing and the subsequent nurse’s visit. Alex: ummmmm……am i imaging this but I remember Bella getting off the airplane, and they did not film that where she is on the plane and she sees her dad! Nicole: I would have liked to have scene Carlisle’s background story. McKell: Getting ready for prom would have been fun Michelle: Edward and Bella falling in love in more than two minutes. Erin Marisa: I would like a better meadow scene. Krystal: I agree with the whole falling in love part. I wish there would have been a more thorough courtship I guess. It just seemed like, boom, they’re in love. I also felt that the meadow scene was cut way too short.

    yay! 1st comment…….again lol
i would like to see the scene Edward and Bella in the forest. this is so cute cause Edward makes Bella fall and then he takes a bit of her finger!! ome!! when i saw this i could not breath and was in shock! lol

  2. Heather D says:

I would have liked a much better/longer meadow scene and then right after that i liked the part in the book where Bella wakes up and jumps on Edward, who’s in the rocking chair. There’s just so many little tiny bits that could so easily been slid into the film.

  3. Samantha LeAnne says:

I would have liked a longer meadow scene. That was such a crucial part of the story, I mean HELLO that’s how this all began! And I just don’t think it was given the justice it deserves, it should have been longer than like 2 minutes and it should have been more like the scene in the book.
I also would have liked more of the stuff in the Biology class. That is where the relationship started and I don’t think they spent enough time on that stuff, like the blood typing and the little glances, the scene in the book where they are watching the movie and all the tension and stuff. More of that would have been great.

    Cafeteria Conversations:
Now, I’m not sure how they could do it, and maybe it’s more interesting reading it, but I really miss the long question and answer sessions Bella and Edward have. I know they tried to threw two in, in the woods, but it just didn’t catch the “electricity” between them.

  5. Dawn says:

WHEN EDWARD ASKED ALICE IF SHE AND JASPER COULD HANDLE THE SITUATION WITH JAMES TRACKING BELLA, BELLA SAW ‘GRACEFUL LITTLE ALICE PULL BACK HER LIPS IN A HORRIFIC GRIMACE AND LET LOOSE WITH A GUTTURAL SNARL THAT HAD BELLA COWERING AGAINST THE BACK SEAT IN TERROR”…THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO SCARY YET SO FUNNY TO SEE.

  6. ashley says:

When Edward bites Bellas finger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So HAWT10x!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Dawn says:

OH… AND THE SCENE WHEN EDWARD IS IN HER ROCKING CHAIR IN HER ROOM WATCHING BELLA SLEEP AND SHE SAYS HIS NAME IN HER SLEEP…THAT CONVINCES HIM SHE LIKES HIM.

  8. Lola says:

I agree with Dawn. You never get to hear Bella talk in her sleep and tell Edward that she loves him. Also the romance aspect of the movie was way too rushed. I would like to see more scenes with just Edward and Bella talking or something like that.

  9. Amanda G says:

I wanted to see the blood typing scene, I loved that part in the book

  10. Smitten says:

The blood typing, and I think I would have liked to see the first kiss take place after the meadow like it was originally in the book, I like how he ran and she was so dizzy and when she looked up he was just there, then their conversation on the way home…gosh there is just so much I LOVE in the book that didn’t make it to the screen the same way. But I just got my directors notebook, and loved seeing all the photos and how so much was left out not because of the director but because of money!! ughhh…like how much did Summit make off this film?

  11. laura h says:

i agree with the need for the romance to have a longer lead up. it was very quick from being seventeen for ‘a while’ and then being all over each other. it was very well done in the book with their question and answer days at lunch etc.

i really wished there was the blood typing scene maybe just to see edward sweep bella off her feet and mike being all annoyed but rob might have hurt himself again, lol. either that or bella sneaking away from alice and jasper AT THE AIRPORT. she got out of the hotel waaaaayy too easy.

  12. Carrie says:

I want more of their acual falling in love cuz it’s just like they talk twice she finds out he is a vampire they talk two more times then they’re all like trying to get busy all over her bed. I’m still mad at that cuz
Innocent kissing + falling in love = twilight.
Intense kissing + bed – pants = Breaking Dawn.

  13. Rachel says:

I agree with Lexine I love the blood typing scene I think its so funny and i wish that they had put it in the movie

also one part that bothered me about the movie other than the medow scene and the falling in love in two sceconds was that after Jacob tells her the stories he dosn’t acually tell her the secret she looks it up in a book later

  14. theresa says:

Doesn’t anyone remember the adorable scene when Edward signals Bella to come sit with him at lunch, making the “grand gesture”, and showing her how he feels?!? I love that part in the book…and I definitely agree with all of you about the romance, or lack there of. I am one of the few who saw the movie before I began reading the series- and became obsessed- so, when I saw the movie I thought they were friends still even 1 hour into the movie. Then when I read the actual book, I was shocked by how beautifully the love between Bella and Edward grows. But I am still so excited for the release of the DVD!

  15. Jasmine says:

The blood typing scene would have been amazing if it was in the movie cuz it really showed how ironic everything was. Like that Edward had to ditch because of the blood typing yet Bella gets nauseated! I hope that scene ends up being of the deleted scenes on the DVD.

  16. Carly (Lautner) says:

    bloodtyping

    cArLy***

  17. Ash Pash says:

The scene when they were doing blood typing in Bio becasue that was like the first time Edward and Bella touched

  18. Samie says:

The blood typeing. and more of the reasons WHY bella and edward fell in love.. in th book there was tons of things… but in the movie it seemed like imprinting to me! lol if u get my drift..

  19. Alecia says:

The blood typing scene!!!!!!! That was a big part of the book, and they totally left it out!

  20. Jamie says:

I agree with everyone who said blood typing scene!! Totally!! That would’ve been amazing. And a better version of the lunchroom scene.

  21. Monica H. says:

Sleeptalking and more chemistry between Bella and Edward. I agree unless you’ve read the book it’s hard to get the connection they have from the movie.

  22. At first I thought the meadow redone but the bloodtyping would be so funny and touching.
