Edward was really depressed obviously. He must’ve been spending a lot of time being depressed. He probably thought about suicide(if you can call it that). He probably didn’t because of his family. I don’t think he thought about his future much. He was probably living in the “now” not caring what happened to him. For a while he must have ignored his family for a long time.
Returning to Bella would have been tempting. When he started tracking Victoria, it was probably one of his brother’s idea. Something to get his mind off of Bella. So he must have started tracking her but he got lazy. Didn’t care what he was doing. He probably slipped a few times when following the rules.

Hey guys love your podcast. I listend to your 52nd podcast and listened to the U.K girl and heard her talk about the book East. I read that book and it is VERY good . The authors name is Edith Pattou. well i have to go hope you make your new podcast soon bye!

Yah. Cant you guys get anymore creative? that is what stephenie told us…kinda. But i bet he did alot of other stuff too. Well actually lack there of, this is more of a guess but, anyway, I think edward locked himself of and moped around. He was probably having self pity parties 24 7. And yes i am a edward fan, well also jak too. But yah im sure he never stopped thinking about Bella.

I hate to tell everybody this but James died in the first Twilight book. Edward was tracking Victoria. He though she went to South America but she really went to Texas. That is were she got the ideal for a Newborn vampire army.

Hello Ladies! Love, Love, Love the podcast- one of my favorite treats during the week! Wanted to say that Edward was in South America per the extra’s from Stephanie’s website. He was allegedly tracking James and though he had followed him to South America. In the exert Edward is in the ventilation of a building when Rosalie calls him repeatedly to try to get him to come home because Bella is now “out of the way” and they can be a family again. I think thats when he takes off for Italy.

I would just like to say, that if you go to stephenie meyer.com than go to the new moon tab, under there it says extras. If you read rosalies phone call, than it tells you a little about what edward was doing. He was graveling just like bella.

In the end of New Moon when he see’s Bella agin didn’t he say that he was trying out tracking like James but it didn’t work out that well. I am very sure Stephainie said what Edward did while he was away. I don’t know the details but thats what happened!!
