I, too, have a dream cast for The Mortal Instruments!

Clary- Emma Roberts
She looks pretty as a redhead/semi-redhead and has the innocent, youthful look.

Jace- Alex Pettyfer
Pretty much self-explanatory. Amazing face, bod, and hair. Perfect!

Simon- Kristopher Turner
He looks cute and friendly. He can rock the square-framed glasses, as well!

Isabelle- Lucy Hale
She’s has extremely stricking eyes and dark hair. She has the “exotic” look!

Alec- Adam Greggory
He has dark hair, pretty eyes, and a really attractive face. Lucy and Adam can pull off the brother/sister thing.

Magnus Bane- Mario Maurer
He IS half asian and looks good with V-necked shirts. I totally pictured Magnus wearing V-necks and velvet.

Jocelyn- Molly Ringwald
She has the similar innocent face that Emma has and the big, round innocent eyes. Which is good because they’re supposes to be mother and daughter.

Valentine- Gerard Butler
He looked awesome in Dracula and The Phantom of the Opera. He has that fierce facial thing going on!
***I couldn’t find/think of anyone that looks like the mental imagery I have of Luke and Hodge. I imagine Luke to be slender, blonde, and sort of awkward. I imagine Hodge to be short and sort of act like the red panda from KungFu Panda. Lol.

I recommend see the movies, then read the books. Because we all know the movies sucks compared to the books. That’s how i ruined Twilight.

I’ve only finished the first one, so i don’t know about everyone else, Hodge was too hard and Alaric wasn’t in there enough.(:

Carly Lautner-Lambert-Lightwood cast is one of the best i’ve seen,
but idk about Mathew perry for luke.
Magnus bane should totally be some one like miyavi, or idk anyone of that sort.
in jessica w.’s cast i don’t think Michael Cera would be a good simon.

There has to be a movie i only hope the budget is big enough to make come to life.. Megan fox would be a great izzy she`s sexy enough and shes supposed to be a little upity lol like alex just give me the movie that does the book justice for once and im sorry i cant see j.roberts as clarys mom shes to sleek not the busy haired artist slash hunter i think it would be great if clary was cast as a unknown actress instead of the faces we have already seen..in long not short make the movie and cast it well and may the budget be grand.

OK guys listen up whoever said Alex Pettyfer as Jace was right. I think ’cause I’m a sneak around the internet and seen a little trailer. I think Emma Roberts. this is soooo cool. if anyone finds out the date it comes out type it up quick.
I’ve read all three books like months back. I ordered City og Glass from the USA and paid £21 freaking pounds but was like so worth it. ok I’m out.

OMG who agrees with this? (Prolly no one since I’m commenting a little late but whatever) In COA when Clary gives Alec the fearless rune and events that follow… (Trying not togive too much away) Best scene in the whole series. Just hilarIious, I was rofl. I can just picture the look on everyone’s faces. “You know how we were wondering if that thing Clary did would work or not?It works.” Felt so bad 4 Alec but it was funny and I figured he’s gotta say something eventually. Finished COG this morning LOVED the ending.

hahaha. i like how adam’s listed as magnus, and while reading, i totally always visualized him as magnus. (and listened to his music a bit… ahem)
for maia, i think that vanessa hudgens would be very interesting. maia is supposed to be a mixed chick, and exotic looking, and totally BA. hudgens wants to go in that direction, and i actually like her for that.
