to me the first one looks like edward has found a shiny penny on the ground and is about to reach down and pick it up. To me it dosn’t really show anything like “oh i am sad without bella” he jusst kinda looks like he is looking at the ground

I like the one with Jacob & Bella better because Bella looks more vulnerable, they way she is in the book.

I def. like the 2nd one better because she was literally a ghost without Jacob and him holding her shows that very well, though i do agree with Sarah H. cuz it does look \like a cover to a romance novel, but isn’t New Moon a romance novel in its basic?

Okay, I love the first movie poster that was released; I think it is perfect.
I love the other as well, but it made me wonder if that was how the halucinations were going to be like. Like Bella is like, “Oh my Edward, I miss you I am going to the meadow and possibly run into a certain hungry vampire.” And then all of a sudden, the sky turns dark and half of the moon and half of Edward’s face appears in the sky. OMG, I most surely hope not. ANYways, I actually do love both and will get the books on September 15.

Don´t know exactly what is going to happen in the movie but from my point of view in the book Bella and Jacob were not so close like the right photo expresses. Well, at least Team Jacob will feel happy!

I completely agree with neva, we can see a lot of similarities in all the new Moon posters though, which I like ’cause they r beautiful, however i would love to see something different, a new photo shoot!

More Edward is almost always better, but the trade edition with Edward only in the moon shows us more of the separation that is felt for most of the book. Bella had to ‘hold’ herself together until Jacob’s sunshine started to heal her. The cover with her in his arms seems to represent that.
