Hello TST,

I finished reading both books this week, it took be a few hours to read each one, they were great. I cant wait for Gone the last book of the series. I find that the characters are relatable and suck you in. For me Fade was better maybe because the romance with Janie and Cabel was more prominent but also because this time Janie was more involved with the investigations with the police and showed how she is now starting to control her dreams. I felt sorry for Janie’s future now knowing that she will lose her eyesight when she is about 20-something was tough. the book ended great, with the feeling of wanting more for the new book coming out in 2010.

After reading the other posts it looks like I will be in the minority…but I was not impressed with Wake. I thought the concept was interesting but I didn’t really care for the writing style and where the author chose to go with the idea. My favorite charactor was probably Cabe. I will probably read Fade and Gone eventually only because I dont like to leave a story unfinished and I was intrigued enough after the first book to give it another go and see if the second one is better. I have read many of the book suggestions on this site and for the most part have been REALLY happy with them. Mortal Instruments is my new favorite series (well other than Twighlight) , THe Hunger Games was incredible and I am on book 3 of Poisin Study series by Maria Snyder and loving it! Keep up the awesome suggestions!

When I saw that these were the books for July, I thought they looked familiar and when I asked my son, he said they read them in his book club. I snagged them off his shelf, polished them off in a week and am looking forward to more! It was a great beach read.

brilliant books…very easy to read, and read fast, like nothing ive ever read before. Cant wait for Gone.

…Andy im also from the UK, and i just bought them from amazon. Not that expensive either a prices have now come down…get onto amazon! dont wait till november.

I just got Wake toay and i finished it today! It was a great book. Tomorrow I plan on buying Fade! and hopefully finishing it in one day too. =]

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Podcast. I read Wake & Fade in about 8 hours I could not put them down. I am currently rereading them just in case I missed something. I am so excited to find out what happens Janie & Cabel and also if a relationship is formed between Janie and the Captain. I am counting the days 197 days until Feb.

Wake was good & Fade was even better…hope Gone is just as good….i read both of the book in less then 48 hours…up till 3 something i the morning…but till the i m reading Stolen Car by Patrick Jones …he’s really nice to talk to…so we’ll see how this goes…

These books aren’t out in the UK yet!!! (WAKE will be out in November, i think Lisa McMann said on Twitter when Iasked her!) And, I’m sorry, I won’t be able to not listen to this episode till then. Sorry, but I will crack!

But still, from what you guys say on the comments, this book most be an addon to me “Books To Read” List!
