I think two movie’s is the only option, there is just too much that happens in Breaking Dawn;

– telling Charlie and Renee
– some pr-wedding scenes like in Bella’s bedroom when Edward leaves for his bachelor party
– the wedding with the whole Jacob scene
– the honeymoon which pretty much has to be done by the book…
– the pregnancy starting on Isle Esme
– everything that happens with the pack
– Jake at the Cullens
– the birth and Bella’s change
– Jacob imprinting
– Jacob fixing things with the pack
– Renesmee’s ‘life’ has to be explained
– Bella’s waking up as a vampire
– Bella’s first hunt
– Bella/Renesmee’s ‘first meeting’
– Bella attacking Jake
– Edward/Bella cottage
– arm wrestling (I really hope they put that in!)
– the whole getting spotted by Irena scene
– planning the trip to Brazil to try to figure out what the hell is wrong with Nessie
– Alice vision of doom of seeing the Volturi on the war pad
– Alice/Jasper leaving
– Alice planting clue’s for ‘Bella saves Nessie-mission)
– a whole bunch of new vampires
– Bella meet’s J Jenkins
– Christmas
– training Bella for fight
– the actual confrontation with Volturi
– happy ending

And I’m sure you guy’s can think of even more…
One movie is just impossible!!!

By: TrendHater73 Tue, 01 Dec 2009 19:27:04 +0000 Spoilers… I guess. I don’t agree that it should be two movies. This is not Harry Potter and there is not a key mystery they are trying to crack that involves keeping so much of the content. Unfortunately, I’m a Harry Potter fan way before I am a Twilight fan. “Breaking Dawn” is my least favorite of the books, there is too much fluff and a whole lotta let down. Trust me, I know that many people love this series because it is a romance. I get that, but I like the series because it is about vampires and werewolves. The end of that book was such a disappointment. In “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, there is a huge battle at the end and many causalties, which made for an emotional and exciting read. “Breaking Dawn” works towards what? Nothing. A peaceful truce? I thought the Volturi were supposed to be evil and all they do is let the Cullens walk away AGAIN? It sucks to lose characters in bloody battles, but that is what makes books interesting. If everything was sunshine and daisies at all times, it would be boring. Don’t get me wrong though, there were aspects I enjoyed in the book. The wedding was lovely, the honeymoon was lovely, Jacob’s POV was awesome, training for the “fight” was awesome. Not awesome were: the baby, the lack of a fight we had been building up to, Jacob imprinting because that was just creepy and weird despite any “rules” that are supposed to make it ok. Oh, and if they are worried about the baby issue, if anyone has seen the making of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” then they can totally pull that off without a hitch. If you haven’t seen it, search for the DVD on amazon and check out the video they have on there. I’m done ranting and apologize if I offended anyone, as that was not my intention.

By: michelle Tue, 01 Dec 2009 15:43:03 +0000 I totally agree- I LOATHED Kristen’s performance in Twilight- but she nailed it in New Moon. I finally felt like she was Bella, and no huffing and puffing. I was so happy! .

By: Gina Tue, 01 Dec 2009 14:47:11 +0000 Oh WOW! It would be great to see Breaking Dawn in two films! I was just thinking this morning that I can’t wait to see Bella go crazy on Jacob when she finds out he imprints on u know who (just in case there are movie watchers only on this site)! I have to admit I have been a “Kristen – hater” since Twilight BUT, she sooooo redeemed herself in New Moon! She was so much more like the Bella I pictured when I read the book. She didnt “huff and puff” and seem like she didnt know her lines. Kristen did awesome, it made me so excited for the other movies, if she improved this much over one movie , she will be AWESOME in Breaking Dawn , part two when she attacks Jacob. lol
Thanks for the podcast and website, love ur girls! -Gina
