“My Soul To Save” Book Giveaway! — Winners

And the Winners are…

To be perfectly honest if any male gets too close to my face and screams no matter how quiet I scream… only I am not quiet.
There was also a story my father once told me when I was a child because I asked him what it felt like to be scared and he couldn’t think of another way to explain than to show me and let me know what each reaction meant. He had to comfort me after because at age 4 or so I couldn’t think of anything scarier than what he had told me:
“As a child, she would wake up and every morning they would find human hair in her crib. She didn’t seem to care but it shocked her parents to no end. They would secure each of the windows, lock every door and even stay by her side. Every night the hair would still appear. They say that there were three woman. One with long locks of raven block hair, one with swaying ringlets of gold and another with hair so red it burned like fire…” I think that was the point where I screamed. Looking back it isn’t that scary but I thought he meant that red hair burned… and I have red hair… Ya… I was a strange child.
Wonderful contest!

Sincerely,
Emma

We have a great new book giveaway here at Twilight Series Theories, and the contest is open to readers from ALL countries!  Three (3) lucky winners will receive a copy of Rachel Vincent’s new book My Soul To Save, book two in The Soul Screamers series.

Book 1 of The Soul Screamers series — My Soul to Takewas released this past summer, and readers found out why Kaylee Cavanaugh screams bloody murder when someone’s about to die.

In Book 2 – My Soul to Save – when teen pop star Eden croaks on stage and Kaylee doesn’t wail, she knows something is dead wrong. She can’t cry for someone who has no soul.

The last thing Kaylee needs right now is to be skipping school, breaking her dad’s ironclad curfew and putting her too-hot-to-be-real boyfriend’s loyalty to the test. But starry-eyed teens are trading their souls for a flickering lifetime of fame and fortune in exchange for eternity in the Netherworld—a consequence they can’t possibly understand.

Kaylee can’t let that happen, even if trying to save their souls means putting her own at risk.

Soul Screamers: The last thing you hear before you die.

To enter the contest all you have to do is tell us what makes YOU scream.  Is it spiders, homework, or a creepy clown?  Maybe it’s when you run out of hot water in the shower.  Whatever the case may be, just leave your answers in the comments section below. We’ll pick three of the most creative/funny/scary answers to win the prize!

Oh, I probably am the one that screams for everything, at least getting scared of everything.
Espessially clowns. The worst part is that even if I am at home, I can just think about how I would react if a clown entered the room. That freaks me out so much because I can almost see it happen!

  2. Ashley says:

something that usually scares me enough to scream is when in a movie something is about to happen and you know it’s gonna be terrifying, the hair stands up on the back of my neck and then (usually some kind of monster will pop out) and i’ll scream really loud. like it’s almost the entire situation and not just the second of this fiend popping out of nowhere, but the anticipation of knowing something shocking will happen.
Another thing is bugs, or spiders especially. they usually live up in the top of the cage outside our cats sleep in, so i go in one day and there are about 6 of them on the roof and they’re ALL the size of my fist. like the size of a baby trantula, all long legs and furry bodies…anyway, i took one look at them, shrieked as loud as i think i ever have, and bolted from the cage. i was shaking and horrified and wouldn’t go back in the cage for three days, long after my dad had bug sprayed and killed them all. it’s almost a phobia of mine now.

  4. Lynn says:

I can stand when someone creeps up behind me and yells “boo”. It makes me jump out of my skin. I worked with a person who would always do that. One day I dropped on the floor and acted like I was having a heart attack (they knew I had a heart murmur). They never pulled that stunt again :).

  5. switzerland says:

    hmm….
when i slip on ice and wish i didn’t scream beacause the whole street turns and looks at me=D
or when i found out last spring i could go visit volterra and montepulciano!

  6. Catherine says:

I scream when I see exciting Twilight news on Twilight Series Theories! I am known for causing people to think I’m being attacked….. for example my discovery of new Twilight Saga trailers! <3

  7. Nikki says:

I am terrified of clowns! My sister thought that Stephen King’s It was an appropriate childs movie. At Halloween my husband convinced me to go to one of those scary parks and led me into what I thought was a haunted house but quickly discovered it was a not so much funhouse that my husband (funny guy) neglected to tell me. Clowns started popping out of walls and sneaking up behind me. I about jumped on my husbands back, screamed & bolted for the next. I nearly knocked down the little person holding an axe at the exit to get out!
Also, bugs, any kind, make me scream like a little girl!

  8. Merethe says:

So I really start screaming when I see a mouse or a rat! It doesn’t matter if they are dead or alive they are still disgusting. And the long thinny tail! They are just so disgusting, it’s just giving me horror niger all over my body.

  9. Rebecca says:

I scream whenever I see anything related to Alice in Wonderland… especially the disney movie. I will scream, cry, and run away from the tv if a clip comes on or something. My friends like to set me up, put a clip of it on the computer and watch me freak out.

  10. Tara P. says:

I scream for lots of things but I think the most terrifying was when I was a young girl. I had an extremely horrible dream.
I dreamt of madagascar hissing cockroaches were filling my room.

I was in my bed and my room was dark. I heard a clicking noise, like hissing, coming from the floor. They began to crawl from the floor to the ceiling. There were thousands of them on the floor. They began to cover everything in my room. They started to fall on my bed from the ceiling. I was screaming so much and I was completely terrified. I woke up to my mom. She told me I had been screaming my head off for about 15 minutes. She couldn’t get me up. I was so scared I was covered in sweat and I didn’t sleep in my room for the rest of the night. I slept on the couch in the living room next to my parents room wrapped in a blanket like a mummy, head and all. I am so scared of any roach especially those madagascar roaches. I had never seen them before but my mother said I probably saw them on t.v.

They gave me such a creepy crawly feeling that I still can’t shake. Yuck!

  11. Susie says:

I was once cursed to have the basement room in our house…needless to say this will be a spider story, so avert your eyes if it freaks you out…I woke up in the middle of the night with a spider the size of the palm of my hand (legs included) crawling on the side of my face! I screamed, flicked it off and smashed it with my pillow,…and slept on the living couch for the next TWO years, until my brother moved out and I claimed his room. I hate spiders! The tiny ones dont scare me so much, but the big meaty hairy ones freak me out!! Thank heaven for LOOOOONG Vacuum hoses!!

    Susie

  12. Alexis says:

What makes me scream? When my dog takes my dirty underwear out of the hamper and I have to chase her around the house to get them back!

  13. Dawn M. says:

I scream when I get startled – walking out of a room just as someone is passing the door, falling, etc. Other than that, I don’t scream much. Okay, maybe I scream when I see scorpions…or rats. *shudder*

    Thanks! :0)

  14. Becca says:

I scream at spiders, when my friends do a surprie hug attack, when i wake up from a freaky dream and i belive i saw something move… i scream mostly when im fustrated or really surprised, like wheen my friend fell for a silly disgusting guy i totally ss=creamed at her, when she told me she was head over heels for him, the best thing was we were in the middle of the city in melebourne aus, at fed square, i think everyone knew what her love life was about. yea im a bad screamer but i dont scream at scary movies or violence werid huh? a little dandylong legs will send me screamming up the wall. oh and at cute guys (blush)

  16. sarah says:

Pigeons… they scare the living daylights out of me. I know it’s irrational but I have to cross the street if there is one on the path.

  17. Laura says:

    Watching people eat.

It’s not everyone, but the way that some people eat just grosses me out/makes me want to scream. For some it’s the way they look at their food, for others it’s the way they put it in their mouth… But the thing that makes me want to scream the most is the way people CHEW THEIR FOOD!

I’m not neurotic, I’m just super picky about who I eat with. That’s definitely the first test in any relationship, friend or otherwise. 😉

Sometimes I get so annoyed with the way some of my friends eat that I have to take a break from them.

    LOVE TST!!

  18. Vicky says:

    Erm…
    What makes me scream…

When i walk round a corner and someone else screams at me! We’ll just have a big scream fest!!

Love all things Twilight … and Twilight Series Theories

  19. Isabel says:

I can’t stand it when I feel like a bug is crawling on me when I’m in bed. Normally, its just my imagination, but its creepy! Or when you’re just sitting down and a bug flies at your ears. Blah! That’s gross. That happened to me the other day! Haha I guess its just anything with bugs… These contests are fun!

  20. ~Linda~ says:

Hummm a 6 foot black snake stuck in my garage door spring… seriously.
*no blacksnakes were harmed in the event in this post* :0)

  21. Sharli says:

I scream when I’m watching a horror movie and someone else screams, even if it isn’t that scary. I think it’s some kind of reflex or something lol

I want to read soul screamers soooo bad!!
    Thanks!

  22. Carmen says:

What makes me scream.. Well Spiders is something that ALWAYS makes me scream. I can’t stand spiders. Can’t see them on TV, picture or anything. I scream and then start to scratch like crazy. I feel like they are on me. Even typing this is getting me bad. Especially big, hairy spiders I can’t deal with those worse. I went to see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets before I read the book, had no idea it had spiders when I say that I screamed in the theaters and everyone around looked at me and yelled at me for making noises during the movie. Beside Spiders, heights make me scream. I am afraid of falling from high up. I will scream until I touch ground. I can’t ever sit at a window seat in a plane, has to aisle. Other things make me scream but I think Spiders and Heights are the biggest

  23. abigail from nebraksa says:

    FEET!!!

  24. Dominique N. Stroman says:

What makes me scream, which actually sounds like a squeal/squeak combo, is reading something extremely exciting, shocking, and/or “OMG! No that did not just happen”-worthy. This usually occurs when I’m reading novels and series books when I’m well-acquainted with the characters and feel like I’m a part of the world in said book. Thanks!

  25. Rosie says:

I know it’s weird, but I really really hate the sound of balloons popping. That makes me run away and scream. Oh and troll dolls are really creepy and I’d probably scream if I had to see one. In addition, if I saw my dad in his underwear again, I’d probably scream.

  26. To be perfectly honest if any male gets too close to my face and screams no matter how quiet I scream… only I am not quiet.

Bees make me SCREAM with fright.

  29. Marianna G. says:

What makes me scream, no lie, are bats! I do not know how but quite frequently bats find their way into our house. I was watching TV late one night and suddenly a bat comes swooping into the room! I was sacred out of my mind, I ran from the room…screaming/shrieking like a little girl. I had left the lights on and the TV on. I wrote a note for my parents and put it in the bathroom, warning them of the creature downstairs. But they never found it. Creeps me out just thinking about it~
