Although I have only been married 3 years, I can honestly say that I never have never had any regret about a compromise I made for my husband, Brant. I think that is a part of marriage and simply being in a relationship…its giving and taking and making compromises for the good of everyone. Now, that’s not to say that it can be easy, because its not always easy to compromise. However, I know that Brant would never do anything to put me in harm’s way, just like I believe Edward would never put Bella in a situation where he could not fully protect her.

So yes, I believe that the compromise was worth it, for both of them.
