LOUISIANA is a Diamond in the rough per say. Have you ever been down there?? It is truely amazing and breath taking. Southern people have a charm about them. Did you not notice that Jasper was a Southern?? He was from Texas. People from the south truely do not get credit, they get labeled as hicks, rednecks, and inbreed. I’m for one say Bravo to the Southern born people without your hospitality this world would be a rude place.

Can’t believe it, that’s awesome. I live in southern LA, about and hour away from Baton Rouge. Guess I’ll be going to BR a few times in the upcoming months hoping like everyone else to catch a glimpse. Maybe we’ll catch someone at an LSU game!!!
The only thing is, I just can’t think of what scenes they’d shoot down here. hmmm…. curious to find out about that.
They do say Louisiana is becoming the Hollywood of the south.
OOOhhh and Emmy, thanks for the nice words.

Maybe I’ll run into you..Any good places to check out down there while we are down?? It would be awesome to run into some of the people….I’m wondering though if this will be where Jacob is on the lamb running in wolf form all the time?? Maybe he comes to the South to get away..Wouldn’t that be awesome. But I’d like to see all the cast not just a few . Maybe they all will be coming down!! So excited though!!!

That’s a thought, maybe it is Jacob’s wolf time. Now as far as things to do down here… guess it depends what you’re into. BR is a pretty big college town, LSU games are always crazy fun. You also have the standard college bars and that sort of things if you’re into that. Of course there’s Bourbon St. and the French Quarter in New Orleans which is only about an hour and half away. The plantations around here seem to be a big hit, they are gorgeous. If you’re into scenary, especially in the fall with all the cane fields.. there’s most definitely a cool old world feel in the south with the giant moss covered oak trees. Then there’s always the “Haunted Louisiana” stuff to do which in every big and little town around here, tons of legends and stories. I normally tell anyone visiting LA to try some real crawfish while they’re down here, but that depends when they will be filming down here. The crawfish season starts around feb.

I lived in S. LA for several years and wonder what scenes will be shot near BR. I was thinking of the Amazon scenes.

those that live near the area, please, keep us informed. i would love to drive down there th check it out. BR is a beautiful city

  9. YAYAYAYYAYA Texas!!!!!! 😀

  10. Amy Kathryn says:

Well guys and gals… did a little research because it was bugging me that I had no clue what scenes they’d film down here. The LSU paper put out an article saying they seem to think they’ll be filming in BR from fall till spring of 2011. The general consensus is the honeymoon scenes and the amazon scenes will be filmed here, but that’s all just speculation. Makes you wonder though for them to stay that long it’s got to be some major scenes!
