I think Renesmie looks way too old…this is the beginning of her short life, eventhough she is growing at a rapid pace, I dont believe she ever looked older than a toddler in the book. Maybe using two different renesmees would work…a baby and than an older child.

I am VERY pleased iwht thi cast!
I always get nervous when I read a book and then they make a movie because I hate it when the picture in my head is so different from the characters they pick, but I am not disapointed.
Obviously, I didnt picture these EXACT people, and in some cases I picked no on e who looks even close to the actor chosen, but now that I see them I am like “Oh my gosh! Perfect!”

I think the casting of Lee Pace is the most exciting for me! He is perfect as Garrett and even my husband teased me that I will have to strugle with who will I stare at more, him or Rob! I am so excited that he will have an opportunity to be in a big movie and propel his career further. Pushing Daisies was genius and it could have made him a star, hopefully this will!

Reneesmee in my mind from the book is way younger. She pends the whole last part of the book when the Vultori come riding on Bellas back and the cullens say she sleeps in their arms every day. The little girl is cute but I was seeing a 4 or 5 year old. Very disappointed. Sorry

I think Mackenzie Foy is a very good choice for Renesmee. She has the perfect sweet face to show her mother, how much she adores her. And I’m very curious how they’ll put the fast growing of her in pictures.

I think they look really interesting. I don’t think I can form a true opinion until I see them in vampire make-up and costumes. I think that it will make a big difference. I also think that as long as the portray the characters correctly, it will be great. I can’t wait to see what they do to Mackenzie to make her appear younger.

i was sitting with my teen a few months ago and we were discussing some other famous people we’d like to see as vampires in the Twilight movies and Annie Lennox came to mind… maybe Sting! i’d like for some of the vampires to have British accents!

I think the cast is great! The only person i would like to see change is Tanya, we have to think … more beautiful then bella! or Kristin in this case. and while she is pretty she I can see Kristin out do her, but … is are we supposed to be looking though Edwards eyes on this one … bella/kristin is more beautiful. or Bella’s Tanya is more beautiful … and she still cant see her ow beauty that we all see! …????

I think the Denali clan is kinda spot on with the book characters Though I pictured Tanya a little different, she’ll do. Now, i adore Mckenzie Foy! She’s so cute, and she’s totally Renesmee in my head. ^_^

The moment I heard Maggie Grace was playing Irina I was completly elated and even more eager to see the movie. I love Maggie in everything she has done so I’m positive that her take on Irina will be amazing. I can’t wait to see her share the screen with our beloved Rob and Kristen.
I don’t know any of the other cast memebers but I like MyAnna Buring for Tanya and I love Mackenzie Foy for the role of Renesmee, she’s just like I pictured her only a little older.
I’m sure the rest of the new cast will do great as well.
