I prefer the ring from Eclipse. The ring from Breaking Dawn looks too modern. The ring from Eclipse has a more Victorian look which would have been more accurate if it really belonged to Edward’s mother.

The new ring is raised with diamonds around this new raised edge. The Eclipse ring is flat. It is very obvious.

Why does Summit have to keep changing the ring? Why couldn’t they just use the one from the book that Stephenie authorized Infinite Jewelry Co. to make? That’s the best one! I have one of the Signature Editions, and I love it.

Totally agree! Even though I was totally happy with the Eclipse ring, I like the more sparkly one better. Yeah, definitely less costume-y and all. Glad they changed it So thrilled for BD!!!

Yes, it looks like it’s possibly made from real diamonds, like a true pave diamond setting. Still not convinced it’s time period authentic but it’s much prettier.
