I cannot believe she is so against Bella being a vampire. Then too, it sounds like she is thinking of it like a grandparent or a parent and not as Bella because her reasoning is more that her parents will be sad and so forth. I guess I read it more from Bella’s eyes and what I would want as Bella, not really thinking more about her parents and those around her when it comes to her decision.
