Mattel has released an official statement regarding the mistake made during production of the Jacob Barbie doll:

Twilight fans! As you may have heard, Mattel’s heartthrob Jacob doll’s iconic tribal tattoo is upside down on a portion of the total dolls produced. Mattel apologizes for the mistake in production and is working to rectify the situation. Reelz Channel has a new interview with Rob about his new film, “Remember Me,” which you can see below!

MTV has broken down the Eclipse trailer frame-by-frame, discussing all of the highs and lows of the trailer here!

One of the biggest and most dramatic moments of the trailer comes with the reveal of Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria, and while before we had hoped the makeup team would do a good job transitioning her from her predecessor, Rachelle Lefevre, we’re not very impressed. Bryce’s facial expression looks a bit intimidating, but that awful wig leaves much to be desired. I thought the point of hiring a red head was so they wouldn’t have to do that?

This next week, we are planning to do a commentary with the Eclipse trailer, and then debate which directors we would like to see direct Breaking Dawn!  So for our Question of the Week we want to know…

When fans buy any version of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” DVD, they can also purchase any New Moon T-shirt for just $5 through March 22.  (The promotion begins March 16.) There are lots of different editions of the New Moon DVD. Which bonus features are you particularly excited about?
I’m excited that my voice will finally be heard! For me, the fun thing was doing the commentary with Peter Lambert, my editor, because it kind of re-created the atmosphere in the cutting room. Peter’s a really funny guy, and we were able to delve into not only the behind-the-scenes moments, but to explain why certain things were shot or cut together in certain ways. So that, for me, was the most fun.

When you go back and watch it again, are there things you’d like to change if you could?
I would like to never have shot Rob and Kristen running through the forest and Kristen’s just turned into a vampire. Because everybody always laughs and it makes me feel terrible. [Laughs] I would have shot it a different way so it wouldn’t get that response. But otherwise, I’m very happy with things.

New Moon director Chris Weitz talked to People magazine about his thoughts on Eclipse, which he has read the script for!  Click here to read the full article.

Chris Weitz, who directed New Moon, the second installment in the Twilight series, says he has read the script for this summer’s third installment, Eclipse – and that one scene in particular is a scorcher.

“I’m looking forward to the sleeping bag scene, I gotta say,” Weitz tells PEOPLE. “That’s going to be very steamy.”

“I have a special interest in seeing Peter and Elizabeth tear people’s heads off,” he says with a laugh. “Knowing them, and how kind of kooky and delightful they are, I’m going to find seeing them being ultra-violent very interesting indeed.”

I have to say, I can’t wait for that scene either!

EW is reporting that Summit has replaced Eclipse editor Art Jones with Nancy Richardson, the editor of the first film.  Hmm…

“Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the uber-successful Twilight series, confirmed this morning that it has replaced Eclipse editor Art Jones with Nancy Richardson, the editor of Catherine Hardwicke’s original Twilight film. The studio is not placing blame on Jones, who previously worked with Eclipse director David Slade on his horror film 30 Days of Night as well as Slade’s Ellen Page-starrer Hard Candy. They do believe, however, that Slade’s material – which they call “very good” – needed a stronger edit. The studio has more confidence in Richardson, who they say understands the emotion of the characters and is an ace at balancing action with the other elements of the film.”

Variety.com is reporting that Fox has won the bidding wars for ‘Incarceron’… One of my (Kallie) new FAVORITE books! 

“Fox 2000 has won a bidding war for the film rights to Brit author Catherine Fisher’s young-adult tome “Incarceron,” with an eye to spinning the dystopian fantasy into a franchise…

“Incarceron” is a priority for Fox 2000 and Seed, with the project going out to directors and writers to adapt. At least two other studios were vying for the film rights.”

Incarceron is a prison so vast that it contains not only cells, but also metal forests, dilapidated cities, and vast wilderness. Did she ignore you the first three weeks of filming, as some tabloids have reported?
E: No, she’s wonderful… I was by myself in New Orleans and Kristen was there with her family. They properly took me under their wing. I was even made a quasi member of the family for Mother’s Day. They were incredibly lovely to me. We hit it off pretty much from the word go.

So this call is to announce your engagement, right?
E: Hell yeah.

So we’ll see the wedding on the cover of People next week?
E: Guaranteed.
K: Just as soon as I have Rob’s baby.

Eddie has a very posh accent. Were you intimidated by it, Kristen?
E: That’s my favorite question I’ve heard all year!
K: Yeah, you know he was the first Brit I was ever sort of friends with and then I realized in meeting a couple more of them that they’ve all got the same scary vocabulary that he does.

And he went to Eton.
K: He’s a smart guy, you know.

Eddie, did you go to school with Prince William?
E: I did actually… He was in my year. I haven’t seen him since school, but he’s a lovely boy and a good man.
K: S**t, I didn’t know you went to school with Prince William.

MCDONNELL: How was it working with Kristen Stewart, who plays you in the film? What did you tell her? How did she study you?

JETT: Well, I found Kristen to be through and through totally professional and just great to be around. I found us to be really, scarily similar, just in our physicality, the way we move through space. The first time we met was a little over a year ago, New Year’s Eve. She came to see us do a concert. We hung out for the whole day, and I just dumped on her about everything I could think about The Runaways-I mean, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I told her all that stuff and how much it meant to me. Then she went off to do New Moon, and I didn’t see her again until about two weeks before The Runaways thing started. But she is so authentic. The thing that came through to me was that it was important to her to capture it. She really wanted to nail it. So I gave her all The Runaways music that I could find; I gave her tapes of me talking. . . . When we were together prior to the start of filming, she was staring at me the whole time. And I was fine with it because I knew she was watching my posture, my mannerisms, everything I did, the way I hold my hands, just everything. And she really soaked it in. When we were hanging out together on set, it was like I had a mirror image. Even just sitting around, we’d do the same thing at the same time. It was just great-and it wasn’t creepy. It was wonderfully special.
