Synopsis:

After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward’s sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.

    Giulie, IMDB.com is reporting (plus I have seen interviews of some cast memebers) that have said it was confirmed that they are filming in Itally no if they actually film in Volterra I don’t know. BUT of course with anything, it could change. It would be awesome of you could get pictures!! :) I love how these books unites tons of people the world over!! this is GREAT! :)

    Linda, the shooting dates we’ve heard so far are March 23-May 21. I believe that they are filming in Vancouver first. Don’t know if that helps any :)

    I just read an today that even though the book has very little Edward in it. The same can not be said forr the movie. Edward will be in more of it and instead of Edward being gone for most of the movie, they will follow what Edward was doing while he was gone from Bella. I was very excited to read this.

    for new moon they have a new director its the dude who directed the golden compass which peeps say was crap so like he screws it up im gonna be so freakin pissed and i also heard (but this was a while ago) that they wanted to put more edward in the movie and i wasjust like freaking out like a little fangirl moment because i think the books get better as the series progresses so if they mess up the cute little new moonwhich is the seecond worse(twilight just doesnt capture me unless im forced to read it all the way thru) i will be mad cuz it is perfectly perfect the way it is.

    Yeah! New Moon rocks. None of the other books really capture the emotional impact of how important Bella and Edward are to each other. It’s implied in the other books, but there relationship wouldn’t be as amazing if New Moon wasn’t there to give contrast. Plus, I kinda like Jacob. He’s an annoying teenage guy but, that’s what he is! A teenage guy. Not everyone can be a century old vampire like Edward. I hope this movie rocks too and that Jacob-haters will learn to appreciate his human-ness. Atleast until he turns into a werewolf, when they can appreciate the fact that he’s still a teenager and, if he were a real guy, would be pretty awesome to have as a friend. Yay Jacob! (Sorry, I that I can’t help being Team Edward. Is there a way to be Team Edward/Jacob? That would be awesome.)

At first, it made sense, saying that Alex Meraz is Paul, Tyson Houseman is Quil, and Bronson Pelletier is Jared.     OMG! You guys should now something.. i’ve done some speculating on the director of this movie and this is what i found out…

    Christ Weitz is the brother of Paul Weitz and he’s also a director and they’ve worked on movies together before. Paul has also just directed the movie Cirque Du Freak, which is a movie coming out in January, 2010 and it’s based on the first three books in the Cirque Du Freak Series by Darren Shan and it’s also about VAMPIRES! Isn’t that awesome? Can’t Wait. :D

    BTW- Cirque Du Freak Series is a really good read! Every one should read it, can’t wait for both of these movies! <3 x.x

    dammit!!!!!!! it didn’t happen like that. bella didn’t know that jake was a werewolf until the middle of the fucking book! there in the meadow with laurent it was supposed to be all four members of the pack already in wolf form. not in the front of jakes house. what the hell!!!!!! I’m so fucking mad!!!! i hate hollywood!!!!! you know what fuck it. i’m not going to watch the damn movie.

    Hey Janessa-
    It appears when you watch the trailer there are several different scenes combined together. When Bella runs towards Jacob, it looks like a different scene than the one when laurent is about to kill her. I bet Jacob and the pack do come out of the woods like in the book. She has a backpack on in one scene and then it is gone. I may be wrong, but. … Let’s hope not. Don’t get so upset. From what I have read Summit Entertainment wants to be as close to the book as possible. It should be an awesome movie!!! I hope you change your mind and go see it.
