I love your podcast (of course). I have my theories but I don’t want to say it because I’ll jinx stuff. But I’ll say this, there is like 2 months between the end of the Eclipse and wedding and we know that Jacob ran away…knowing Bella want do you think she will do about Jacob running away. I also have a FEELING about the wedding….a funny feeling that something will happen. Im not sure. That’s ALL I’m saying!
Okay, this might sound dumb but I have this theory that Charlie might already know something about Edward. Maybe Billy got to him. But then again, you’d think that Charlie would have flipped out and forbid Bella from ever seeing Edward if he knew but still….I don’t know, I just think that Charlie knows more than he lets on.
I also think that something will happen to Billy and Jacob will have to come back. Or maybe Sam, then Jacob will become chief.
Wouldn’t it be crazy if the werewolves decided that if any of the Cullens bite Bella and turn her, then the treaty will be off for good, and it’s all out war? …No, no, no I have to stop! I don’t want to loose anyone!

i love Twilight and all of the Cullens but this is my theory and it pains me too say it!
I think Stephenie has been hinting for a while, that one of the Cullens is going to be killed off. I dont know how, but if you look at all the books they’ve come so close to dieing i some big way but then escaped so easily…it’s like Stephenie is traping us in a sense of false securety.
i really hope that she doesn’t kill any of them off but, i think that it’s something that is going to happen.

My theory is about Bella:
I think that she has the potential to be one of the strongest vampires of all time. The Volturi, who have been around for like 3000 years can not penetrate her mind. Kallie/Kassie, I know that you guys have discussed this in one of your podcasts already but I knew from the moment I read the end of New Moon that this particular event was foreshadowing something HUGE.
One can even look into her background and conclude that Bella obviously has a destiny over her life. There have been so many instances in which her life could have and should have been taken but fate did not allow it…or Edward. :o)
Perhaps this is when the Volturi will become threatened by the Cullens Clan; when they see the potential that Bella has and how she refuses to join their coven. In New Moon, when the Volturi requested Edward to join due to his special talents and abilities, Edward displayed a certain type of anxiety as he kindly refused their request.
Although he was able to walk out, Bella might not be so lucky…or will she?!

Lisa, that’s good! I’ve thought about it a little too, and maybe once Bella is a vampire (or maybe I should say, if) maybe she’ll be a huuuuge threat to the Volturi. She’s obviously not planning on joining them any time soon, so something has gotta go down. Possibly at the wedding?? Hmmm, so many things to think about.

I am a HUGE Edward fan, but i also feel a bit sorry for Jacob. So i hope he imprints on someone in the last book. Also had the same thought as other poeple, about something happening at the wedding. Hmm….So excited. Can’t wait,

so i was thinkin last night and it actually like made me not able to sleep. what if…bella falls out of love with edward and goes to jacob? what if she goes to jacob at all? what if jacob stops the wedding? what if there is no wedding?!?!?! sry im just goin crazy….. :/
Now, I’m not sure what could come about with my theory but I had the idea that, for the wedding, Charlie might bring along a date, but the catch could be that his date is a woman from the Quillete tribe, she may or may not be in on the secret of the warewolves and vampires but it could bring an interesting twist to the outcome of the story.
This one’s been making me toss and turn at night.
I believe that Jacob told Bella in Eclipse that if any of the Cullens bite a human, no matter where it is geography-wise, that the treaty will be off.
Now, I think it would be very interesting indeed if something happens to Bella. She’s dying and there is no way to save her except to turn her and Jacob is the one who suggests it, or maybe just approves of it. Maybe the vampires and the werewolves are fighting and she gets hurt or maybe they are fighting the Volturi or whatever, but it seems to me like the ultimate sacrifice for Jacob would be to allow Bella to be turned to save her.
First of all, let me say that I love your website.
That being said, I have several ideas, but I’m not quite sure about all of them.
Firstly, I don’t think Bella will go after Jacob. She knows that she has made her decision, and she can’t just keep chasing Jacob. This just leads him on and hurts both of them. Jacob has accepted this too, although he despises the idea.
I think that the Denali clan will be mentioned in Book 4, considering how many times they are mentioned. I think if there was a werewolf and vampire fight, they would gladly join, since Laurent was Irina’s mate, and was taken out by werewolves.
As for Bella, I think that she will have some sort of mind power, since her mind is so private. It would honestly be awesome if she was more powerful than Edward, just because it is an awesome idea!
I have a feeling the Volturi will come in after Bella is changed, or while she IS changing. This is a crazy theory I developed:
Edward wisks Bella off to Alaska after the wedding, where they try and succeed. Bella is finally changed into a vampire, and the Cullens are on there way to Alaska. The werewolves catch wind of this, and attack the Cullens, on the first day of Bella’s change. Things are going to go downhill without another person, and they need to finish this quickly. Edward leaves Bella in the Denali Clan’s care, and hurries to help his family, promising to come back. He arrives on the second day to join the fight, and the fighting is pretty equal at the moment. On the third day, Bella awakes as a vampire, and struggles against the Denali coven, breaking free of their guiding grasp. The Cullens are continually fighting, and Edward knows he has to return to Alaska soon. Bella returns to Forks, where she watches the fight, before walking onto the battlefield.

Meg…great idea. I have heard Kallie and Kassie theorize that Edward would be the one to change her because he would have no choice but this is the first time I’ve heard of Jacob ASKING Edward to do it. I LOVE IT!
First I would like to say I love your website and pod casts.
That being said, I have few ideas, well more then a few ideas considering I’m writing what I think should happen in “Breaking Dawn” so I should have a little more then a few ideas…Anyhow here are some of my theories.
What will happen with Jacob?
As we know Jacob ran away in the end of the 3rd book. I think after a while he will come back to Lu Push because Sam gave him an order to come back as soon as he could. For this, Jacob will calm down enough to go home.
He will accept Bella’s choice and because of this he will talk to Sam about making an exception to the treaty. But only one exception. After many arguments Jacob will play the “What if this happened between you and Emily? Could you real kill the family she choose? And possibly even Emily? And even if you don’t go could you think of your friends doing that?” card. And it will work eventually.
Jacob will go to the wedding but leaves during the ceremony because he can’t stay for the “I now pronounce you husband and wife” part for its too much for him.
There’s a little more to his story but I must explain my other theories first:
Rosalie:
I had the same thoughts as you guys. I thought that she would leave before the wedding. Why? Because she wants to get her thoughts together. She wants to be able to control the anger she felt for Bella and wants to try to be a little nicer to her.
Jasper:
He will start off as distant like in the other books but when Bella becomes a vampire he will actually become really supportive because he’ll understand how Bella fells more then anyone else and will feel bad and try to help her.
Bella’s Powers:
I think she will have a power but it will have something to do with her mind.
1) Bella will not a power because she already has one. She can refuse vampires powers (like Edward, Aro, Jane, and Demtri)
2) Bella will have a power but its just her old one enhanced. I think she might be able to turn “on” and “off” what vampire power can control her or hear her or hurt her. Like, she would be able to stop Jasper from making her feel one way and could let Edward hear her thoughts if she needed it.
3) Will be mentioned below for it goes better and will make more sense
Bella Becoming a Vampire:
I see her becoming a vampire happening two ways. Each way consist after the wedding and Edward keeping good on his promise in Alaska during their honeymoon:
1) Edward will bite Bella for his control is not good enough.
-or-
2) Bella talks to Edward before they do anything because she wants this to be her last experience to remember. She will want Edward and then not being able to remember any other human experience because everyone says that night is the night they remember the most.
Now, I believe that there will be a war between the Volturi and the Cullen’s. How does this happen. I have a theory I thought up of my own and my mom helped me with the second one.
1) Bella will get a power that the Volturi will really want. She will be a great asset and the Volturi really want her. For this the Cullen’s protect her. The Cullen’s will seem like they are losing and the wolves will help and they will win (there will be more in a second)
2) Now this next theory is a little out there but I think it’s pretty cool and would bring a great story line.
Edward will bite Bella and she will go through the three days of pain. Then, day three comes and this is where is becomes interesting. Her skin will be a littler paler, she’s a little faster, can hear a little better and she doesn’t faint at the site of blood…she actually thinks it’s quite nice…HOWEVER she is still human. Her heart is still beating so she isn’t really dead yet.
This takes the Cullen’s off guard and they can’t figure it out. A while later, Alice has a vision that the Volturi are coming. To save them a trip the Cullen’s go to them telling them the situation. The Volturi go to work and eventually figure out why but doesn’t tell the Cullen’s coming up with a plan to kidnap Bella. However, Alice see’s this and Edward hears there thoughts so the Cullen’s run. Because of this a war brakes out.
The Ending for both of the theories:
The Cullen’s will fight to keep Bella safe and the Volturi will fight to take her. Even though the Cullen’s keep fighting the Volturi’s guard off they are getting tired when the wolves come to help. The Volturi are off guard and will lose. However the 5 main vampires (the actual Volturi) will survive
This makes Carlisle and the rest of the Cullen’s the superpowers of the vampire world because they won over the Volturi. However, this isn’t Carlisle. He will not want this. He will talk to Aro and they will agree for the five Volturi will “rule” the vampire world.
Anything else?
I do have some small details.
1) Someone will save Bella…whoever it will be it will be someone. I’m hoping its Esme, Rosalie or Jasper who end up doing this but it could be anyone.
2) I was wondering if Bella would be klutzy when she’s a vampire. I mean that could be what human quality Bella has intensified…do I think so…probably not but that could be something.
3) I don’t think Bella will have a hard time with the blood because 1) she wants to be a vampire 2) The fact that she doesn’t like blood might come into play.

-Bella and Edward marry, relatively uneventfully.
-Edward changes Bella
-In addition to her human mental talent, she has the ability to share talents…
-There will be a confrontation with the Volturi, and Bella will be the one to resolve it.
-Jacob is gone, and doesn’t return until much later, having imprinted on some yet-to-be-named human girl.

I love the podcast! Me and my brother were talking about twilight in the car one time when i came up with this theory:
Ok so it will be a few days before the wedding. Then, Alice will see(with her mind) the Volturi coming and crashing the wedding because Bella still isn’t a vampire. So the Cullens will have to change Bella before the wedding in order to keep the family safe.
That’s it. It might be kind of stupid, but oh well.

Okay. I have a question that I was wondering if you could address this sometime. I am a huge fan of Jacob and my best friend and I both have a theory about what will happen to him in Breaking Dawn. I was just wondering if it would be possible to imprint on a vampire. Thanks for doing these podcasts. I love them.
I think it was mentioned already, but how do you think Bella’s aversion to blood will effect her as a vampire? The smell will be much more potent. Will she be the first vampire to be repulsed by the smell of human blood?
I am hoping for the Leah imprinting on Jacob theory to come true. I had the same impression when I read EC and it would be an interesting twist. Jacob tells Bella that the person who is imprinted upon, (Jacob) doesn’t have to love the wolf back. Also, Jacob said that Emily was angry about Sam imprinting on her and resisted. They both seem to support the Leah theory.
I don’t see the wolves at war with the Cullen’s. I think they have built trust in EC and they will protect each other. I am hoping that the Denali coven will be a presence in BD, there is a lot to learn about them. The Volturi are sure to be a threat.

My theory is that Edward and Bell will get married have their special night. It will be amazing, as this will make Edward feel the most human so far and obviously for other reasons. J They will have at least a few happy weeks together.
There will be detailed plans made to change Bella and then the Volturi will pay a visit, not all of them but enough to cause problems. I am almost thinking of a kidnap situation with Bella. The Cullens will unite with the wolves to fight to save Bella they know that the Volturi are hiding close because they want to change Bella in the US. Bella will be on deaths door, as she tries to escape and then Edward will save her taking to change her right away. I also think Jacob maybe the one begging Edward to change Bella. The Volturi will escape somehow only to bring in reinforcements… Once Bella has changed there she will possess something extra powerful… not sure what yet.
The Cullens realize that have to end the Volturi because they know it will only be a matter for time before they come back to try and finish the Cullens. We will see what Alec’s power is… They will again fight with the wolves. I also think Jacob might die… protecing Edward and Bella’s escape (sorry).
Charlie will find out what has been going on under his nose before the final battle. Billy will be the one to tell him.
Bella will ultimately save everyone.

I hate Jacob Back! I don’t think he’ll die though…
Sorry. So my theory goes like this: the preface is rigth before the transformation or during it. The book starts wth wedding preperations and then goes into the wedding. Bella realizes that this is perfect and it’s what she wanted the whole time. During the vows, the Volturi show up and sit down on the groom side and Bella and Edward maybe have to escape during the reception (I’m not sure about that). Later, Bella will get her condition and Edward will change her and stay with her. But while she is in the final stages of transformation, a battle will break out and Edward will go and fight. While he is away, he will be cornered but Bella senses that he is in danger and (she’s still transforming right now) she runs (vamp style) to hima and saves him. Then we will find out wha her super awesome vampy power is! Oh, and sometime in the middel, Jaco will imprint on someone and it will be like Sam: he feels really bad about Bella but he can’t help how he feels about this girl.

Ok. I was thrilled when you talked about this because I have been theorizing about things for SO long!
I believe that the Volturi is completely threatened by the Cullens for being a large vamp clan and ALSO having such control over themselves. So my theory is that they will have a war. Volturi against Cullens…I think that this will be near the end of the book or something…but I think that the Cullens will end up overthrowing the Volturi and becoming the new Volturi sort of! I would like to see that. But I am not sure how the battle would go that the Cullens could win. I think Bella will be a vampire by then and will be their secret weapon…with whatever her cool new indestructable power might be!
I also agree with a ton of other people when they say someone is going to die. They got off pretty easy in the newborn war, but I don’t think that that wil happen again. Either a vampire or a very important werewolf will die.
Another thing I would like to see and that is probably overdue to happen is an apperance of Tanya’s family (the vamp clan in Alaska). They keep talking about them they haven’t actually showed up. I think it is improtant that they do though.
I have a theory about when Bella is changed.
I think that when she is changed…because of her repulsion to blood in real life…she will also be immune to it’s effects as vampire…BUT she did say that she could smell blood in Twilight when she got sick in Biology so it could be the opposite she could be twice as crazy. But she was repulsed by it badly…she said it smelled like rust and salt. So I am leaning towards the fact that she will be able to resist whenever she wants and have more flexible feeding times than the rest of the vampires.
I thought of another….what if Bella gets changed into a vampire and later decides that Jacob is who she wants…I doubt this will happen and I would make me angry but he did say he would always be waiting in the wings and he said he might even still take her if she was a vampire…if she didn’t smell too bad. I won’t balme you if you hate this theory (bcause you hate Jacob) because I do too. It was just kind of floating around in my head.
Ok my theories so far….
- I do think EDWARD will turn Bella… and I think it will be in a life or death situation. Probably caused by the Volturie, who.. after Bella and Edward have their honeymoon… storm in and decide to anniliate the Cullin’s cause they’re wayy too powerful for their liking.
- After Bella becomes a vampire, I think she will have a handful of “powers.” Including a resistance to blood. Since her hate for blood is so powerful as a human.. she can even smell it when it doesn’t have a sent to humans.. she won’t crave human blood as badly, or maybe not even at all.
- I also think (Cassie don’t kill me) that Jacob will imprint on Bella once she becomes a vampire. She will be a totally different person in his eyes, and I think it’s possible. Then in the volturie/cullen war I think Jacob will die saving Bella. I’ll probably write more about this theory in the podcast Q&A thing.
I think as far as powers Bella will have i think it would be so cool if Bellas power would be that when she comes in contact with a vampire she will have that power for a little while or until she comes in contact with another vampire. I also think that it is possible that she might have that power but with humans too.so she would for a short time have the power of a human if they were turned into a vampire . I hope that makes sense if not oops. Luv the podcast.

My theory about the new book is that the Volturri will come a crash the wedding. I’m pretty sure there will be a wedding and that Bella will change, but the first wedding will be crashed as I said.. lol
I think when Bella changes she will have these AMAZING powers. And be the most powerful vampire since the BREAKING DAWN of time. haha. So Breaking Dawn= Bella.
Because people have been saying its Jacob or Edward…but has anyone ever considered it to be Bella?

Okay, I don’t know if anyone has considered or posted anything like this, but has anyone thought what Bella’s abilities will be? She is immune to anything involving the mind. Personally I think she will have some mind control thing or have the same but stronger abilities as Edward. Maybe something to get your readers to discuss? Coz I’d like to know what everyone else thinks…

And I agree that she will have a power that has something to do with her mind… I’m not sure what, but she seems to have some sort of precognition (seeing the future) in her dreams so it will be really interesting to see if she will get turned and have powers.

I was thinking that since Bella is very intuitive (sorry ’bout my spelling!) as shown in all the books when she guesses that Edward is a vamp, and Jacob is a dog, and when Edward says it himself (EC), Bella will have a power that has somthing to do with being able to guess things or piece together clues. I also agree with the aversion to blood and mind tricks theories. they are pure genius!!!!
I also think the volturi will have a very strong role in BD. Last thing (for now), the catchphrase thing (BD will take your breath away) is soooooo good for the pro-Bella-Vamp cause since the vamps dont need to breath and the story is from bella’s point of view. also i think that promises an amazing book. at the moment i have the same feeling i have pre Harry Potter 7. that no matter how it turns out, i can’t wait.

Well i was just scrolling through this random article on stephanie meyer, and I saw she stated that Midsummer Night’s Dream had a large influence on Breaking Dawn.
So I have an alarming theory that, maybe, Bella will get cold feet from the wedding and run away to Jacob (for only a short while, hopefully). So paralleling the theme of M.S.N.D. she will love Jacob for a little bit, but then return to Edward.
I hope I’m wrong about this, because I do not want Jacob and Bella to be together. But I felt the need to express this theory.
hey I LOVE the Twilight series, I was really reluctant to start reading them, because I thought it was a really a dumb teenage girl fad, but I’m a 17 year old and I love them I just finished Eclipse around 9 p.m. tonight, and I was wondering if there were alot of male readers especially my age
p.s. I really want Edward to turn Bella, alot, but I’m afraid that since Stephenie Meyer is such a romantic that she’s going to throw a curve and show that their love could stand the test of time, unfortunately
Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t the Cullens offer to take Bree in at the end of Eclipse? Of course, that didn’t happen…but it makes me think that, if they were so ready to take her, they might allow a new vampire (other than Bella, hopefully) to join their family.
I also feel that one of the Cullens will play a much larger part - maybe Esme, Rosalie or Emmett, since they don’t have any supernatural powers…personally, I’d love to see Esme step up into the forefront, since we know so little about her.
And as much as I’d love Edward to change Bella, I also really want it to be someone else…Rosalie would be interesting, considering her relationship with Bella, but I’d really like to see Jasper change her, if it can’t be Edward. I know, he’d probably kill her, but if it’s a life and death situation…I think he could manage it. That would be interesting, too…
Maybe Bella, once changed, will become a bridge between the vampires and werewolves. I’m not sure how it would work, exactly, but…she’s always been the go-between for them (sort of), and as a vampire, that might be…intensified…

But if Edward turns human, I am going to throw people off cliffs, and no werewolves will be around to save them…(okay, that’s an exaggeration…)
i totally agree with the edward/human thing, althought i don’t think it can happen, if it could rosalie would definately try it because she wants to be human. also, i don’t hate jacob, i pity him…”Jella” on the other hand is infuriating…. but this is not the place to discuss that. maybe another time…..
Okay, so here is what I think:
(FYI: Before you read this, know that I’m on team Edward, but I feel so horrible for poor Jacob. He deserves someone)
-Jacob should imprint on Angela. That would be really cool and interesting
-Even though Bella will be a vampire, she will still find some way to pull Jake back into this mess
-As much as this sounds weird, I kind of don’t want Bella to change. I’m afraid that she is going to lose the “imperfections” that Edward fell in love with in the first place. I will agree, it will be easer on him, and her, but I’m afraid she’ll lose so much more than what she has.
-New characters will be introduced. I have a feeling…
-I just hope to god that James doesn’t like arise from ashes or something, because I’m afriad of him more than death. seriously.
-Bella’s new power? I have no idea. Maybe she’ll be invisible. Maybe Angela is a witch. I don’t know.
My theory is that Bella will have the power to turn vampires to humans.
If it happens, then the werewolves will disappear and
everything will be ‘Human’
Idk this would be interesting and difficult to interpert.
I do think Angela will have a larger role in the fourth book.
I also believe Alice Cullen knows what’s going to happen.
But it’s hard to say.
Okay something has been bugging me. I like to reread and try to look at things from a phyiological perspetive, I note changes among the characters as time progresses through the three books. But something has been bugging me about the bracelet in the 3rd book. I know that authors use alot of foreshadowing and considering at the end of Eclipse Jasper turned into a werewolf to possiably remain that way that the wolf on the bracelet was a foreshadowing that Jacob was going to leave her and that was something for her to have…well the fact that Edward has something on that bracelet has an egging feeling. Someone please like disagree with this because even i disargee with it, do you think something might happen to Edward? I don’t like that, I’m a use Edwella/Bedward (whatever you want to call them) fan but just that bracelet is nagging me.

Well, I am a HUGE Edward fan, but i really am hoping that in breaking dawn Jacob does NOT imprint. I think that Stephenie likes Jacob waaay to much to just parcel him off to some random girl (or not so random girl like Leah). I agree with your theory that one of the Cullen’s will die and i think that possibly one of the pack, or even her parents. Stephenie will need to give Bella reasons to back out of her marriage( i don’t want her to, but it adds tension) and a death of someone else she loves will put her decision in jeopardy. Also, i heard about the whole Midsummer’s thing and it also mentioned something about another book, no clue what that could be. And i can’t help but wonder what if the new person Stephenie says will narrate the book is (yuck i rly dont want to say this) Jacob and Bella’s daughter. As much as i HATE it, if J&B had a girl who fell in love with Edward it would sell more books and stuff, but i dont rly see it happening simply because something really bad would have to happen to Bella if she left Edward at all. point blank, i think that Bella will have to end up with Edward, only because their love is so powerful that if either of them lost each other it would kill them both so i really dont see Jacob getting Bella at the end of Breaking Dawn. When i read the titles of the book I think of Edward as the moon and Jacob as the sun. An Eclipse is when then moon and the sun are right in front of each other just like Edward and Jacob were mad at each other almost the whole book. Now Dawn is when the sun comes out and as much as I hate to say it I think she is going to go running off after Jacob. I really hate Jacob, but this is still my theory. I hope I’m not correct!!

4. Edward has major angst and is convinced Bella is choosing Jake over him even though she isnt.
5. Bella gets kidnapped by the Volturi or some other evil person
6. Alice has a vision about Bella being kidnapped and Edward runs to save her
7. He finds Jake and they go together to Italy to save Bella
8. FIGHT TO THE DEATH WITH VOLTURI
9. Bella is dying and about to be killed by an evil vampire, so Jake sacrifices himself to give her more time and as he dies begs Edward to change her into a vampire to save her life
10. Edward carries out Jacob’s wish and bites Bella
11. Wedding happens in epilogue.

Okay, so we all have heard that A Midsummer Night’s Dream was an inspiration to Stephenie Meyer, which helped her in writing Breaking Dawn.
I know this isn’t much of a theory, but have you ever thought that you could compare the characters in the play to the Twilight characters? It actually helped me with my up-coming theory.
This is how I compared the both groups:
- Lysander, beloved of Hermia [Edward Cullen]
- Hermia, beloved of Lysander [Bella Swan]
- Helena, in love with Demetrius [Leah Clearwater?]
- Demetrius, in love with Hermia but then falls in love with Helena later on. [Jacob Black]
- Egeus, father of Hermia, wants to force Hermia to wed Demetrius [Charlie Swan]
- Theseus, Duke of Athens, good friend of Egeus [Billy Black?]
- Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons and betrothed of Theseus […dunno]
I was just listening to the Jella podcast and I realised something. The story is a bit like the Quillette legends. The cheif, kind of like Jacob, had an someone else take the one he loves (Edward/Bella). Then both Jacob and the cheif ran away, hiding in the primitiveness of a wolf. If the story follows the legend then Jacob may not come back for years, or atleast months.
My friends and I were discussing what could possibly happen in BD and here’s some of the stuff we came up with… we figured that the Volturi were going to play the bad guys in this book and they would kidnap either Bella(to change her) or Jacob(as a bargaining chip so that Bella will let them change her in order to get Jake back alive). In the latter situation, Jacob would not want Bella to change because of him so he would sacrifice himself for her or try and stop the Volturi in some way. We even thought he might sacrifice himself for the sake of Edward. We figured that they can’t just end up hating each other forever so thought they would somehow make up and either one would do something noble for the other one.
There is a part in Eclipse where Edward is explaining how complex the wolves are like a soap opera. I don’t have book in front of me, but doesn’t he say its like a Mid Summers Night Dream.
The story line could be like a sub plot with wolves and imprinting (Jacob)…

i DON’T think that the main plot of ‘Breaking Dawn’ will involve the Volturi, or at least there won’t be a big war sort of thing. the thing is, the Volturi (Aro in particular) like Carlisle. They’re sort of friends. the only reason i could think of for a confrontation between the two groups would be if the Volturi feel threatened by the Cullens. As some others have theorized, this may have to do with Bella’s vampire power.
I just think its more likely that we’ll get some new villan (maybe a threat to all of the vampires, volturi included??) and they’ll band together to destroy them… or not, i really have no idea
annother ‘anti-theory’ i just thought of involves Jacob:
I’m pretty sure that Leah hasn’t imprinted on Jake, because its mentioned in Eclipse (i think) that Leah is still in love with Sam. Jacob tells Leah that Emily has enough on her hands without Leah thinking about Sam nonstop and making things ‘awkward’ in the pack. Jacob won’t imprint on Leah because he would have imprinted on her the first time he saw her after his transformation (or hers, if they’re considered a different person after transforming…). I actually love Jake (sorry, Kassie) and i know Stephenie Meyer does too, so i’m sure he’ll end up with someone who’s perfect for him, but he’s still really young and he doesn’t know what he wants…
It frustrates me that some people think that in order to like Edward you have to dislike Jacob! Well no. If you look at it objectively, both of them are annoying in their own way: Jacob and his impulsiveness, Edward and his overprotection … I could keep going on!
I think that Jacob is mostly misunderstood. Yes, he was pushy, some say immature, but frankly, Bella wasn’t going to accept her feelings for him unless he did it like that. And at the end, he was right. She loved him. So, now chill, Bella choose Edward and Jacob knows that she choose him even though she had feelings for Jacob. Let Jacob alone. He was Bella’s support when Edward was MIA. I think he deserves more consideration than what he is given. He technically didn’t do anything wrong.
And yes, I’ll try to remember myself that Jacob is a fictional character. LOL.
I’m biased about Bella becoming a vampire. Maybe I’m not as excited for it because she was so insistent from the beginning. It was a bit exasperating. But I really don’t see any way out of the Volturi Deal. Unless Edward and Alice go to work for them and ask in return that Bella stays human! Yikes! That won’t happen though. That’s crazy.
I don’t like the idea of Leah having imprinted on Jacob, mostly because she annoys me. Maybe if she changes her attitudes … hmm, we’ll see.
Assuming Bella does get changed into a vampire… what if her special power is that she can change vampires back to humans? Even herself, as in she could go back and forth between worlds? I know, I know, it sounds pretty crazy, but isn’t Edward always saying how she brings out the humanity in him? Eh??

REVELATION! Okay, so, just gonna jump right in here:it has been discussed in the book of who is going to change Bella, and Edward has been settled on. However, there is always this feeling that Edward doenst want to change Bella and no one wants her to be changed out of guilt. It hasalso been foating around that Bell;a will get injured and need to be changed to save her life. It is also a curiosity what her powers will be and it is known that the Volturi are very interested in her. So, what if, at or before the wedding, the Volturi show up and snatch Bella and change her and then the Cullen’s get her back. Also an i dea for her power, what if all the powers that dont’ work on her she can borrow. So if she is around Edward, she can read minds, or she could protect people around her from the powers that dont’ work one her, like projecting her mind power to protect others, especialyl since she is such a caring person. I know this is full of the most run-on sentences ever, but i need to get it all out beofre i forget (sorry for all the spelling and grammer errors too). Also, we all dont’ want to loose our Bella to vampire drive and thirst, so, because she is so locked in her head and protected there, she might have more control once she is turned than anyone is really expecting.
I know that A Midsummer Night’s Dream is only a loose inspiration for Breaking Dawn, but after reading Isabelle’s theory, I thought I might add something.
The main conflict in A Midsummer Night’s Dream is caused by the fairies. Since there are no fairies in the Twilight Series…that we know of , J/K!, the only power or magic that I think can substitute is imprinting. Lysander(Edward) is put under a spell to fall in love with Helena(Leah). Well Edward can’t imprint because he is a vampire, but Leah can because she is a werewolf. Leah could imprint on Edward..causing quite a lot of drama. It is an open possibility since Stephenie Meyer neither accepted nor denied that it could happen. For the Edward lovers, this plot line would work out because Lysander(Edward) and Hermia(Bella) end up together as well as Demetrius(Jacob) and Helena(Leah). Regardless to the A Midsummer Night’s dream storyline, it would be understandable if Jacob ends up with Leah because they can relate to one another, for they both have suffered from a heartbreak.

Okay I have had so many theories that I keep locked away so my husband won’t think I’ve completely lost it but after listen to the Bedward/Edwella podcast I thought of another one so I’m posting it! *shhh…don’t tell my husband* lol Ok anyways.
My theory has to do with Jacob and the werewolves and the treaty. When Bella and Jacob are talking at the end of Eclispe Jacob says that he would take out any of his wolf brothers that would try to take her out if she turned into a crazed blood maniac (in so many words) Well I think that Jacob will not crash the wedding but I do believe he will be there with Billy sitting next to Charlie. This will surprise Bella because Edward “broke the rules” by sending him an invitation without her knowing. Other than that I do not believe that Jacob will have much to do with the wedding. Like I stated a couple weeks ago I believe Bella and Jacob will say good bye before she leaves to wherever they go to change Bella. At this moment i do believe is when Jacob will “lose it” and begin to change it a werewolf and she will try to hug him or something to calm him down and instead it ends up doing the reverse and pushes him over the edge and she ends up getting mortally hurt. Of course Jacob rushes her to Edward and Jacob begs for him to change her right then and there. Oh I didn’t mention that when Jacob had come back from running away I believe he will take his position as “Chief of the Pack”. Anyways because of this in a Bella brings unites werewolves and vampires and they become allies with just a little bit of tension. lol When it comes down to the Volturi I believe the cullens will visit the Volturi after Bella is changed because in Eclispe Alice says that they may just come give them a little visit after Bella is changed but I really do believe the entire conflict will come from Bella’s power not that they haven’t changed her yet. i don’t know though it sounds kinda corny though. I’m really tired and I have thought about this way tomuch ok well i hope it made at least a little bit of sense. bye
Hey first off i would like to say that your podcast has changed my life just like the books have! Now i am starting a club at my school haha. I may only be in 8th grade but i understand the twilight series very well. Heres my theory. . .
I believe breaking dawn will start off with Bella breaking the news to the rents. Charlie will be calm but annoyed at her choice and her mom will be like OME(oh my edward) but will support Bella. Next it will go to the wedding rehersal, and Bella will totally flip out, get cold feet, and leave Edward. As much as i hate to say this, she will go back to Jacob for a couple of days. Surprisingly Jacob will tell Bella to marry Edward and say that he is the right choice. Turns out he will have imprinted on Leah and he knows he has no choice. Since this is what Jacob wants her to do, she will run into Edwards arms, and of course Edward will be all selfless and forgive her. Now heres the tricky part. On the day before the wedding, Bella will confront Jacob again and say goodbye. Jacob wont be able to control himself because he is upset with himself and will end up freaking out on Bella. Edward will be near by though, and rush to her aid. Jacob will realize what he has done and will beg Edward to change her. Edward will and Bella will become a vampire. But of course the Volturi will hear about this and that will set them off. Since they are very curious what Bella’s power will be. I have no clue what her power will be, but it has to do something with the mind and funky powers. Since Edward bit her of course the treaty will be off. Now the Volturi will come and they will be like OMCB(oh my cullen boys) and Jane will have a fit and try to attack bella. Bells will defend herself and Jane will get hurt. Now that will set Aro and Alec off and then they will all get in a fight. Jasper will probably calm them down. But Aro will beg and plead for the Cullens to join them but they will refuse. So now they relie on force. They will all get in a super awesome fight, and the Cullens will win by default. Carlisle will be all super kool kind doctor dad and will say that they can still rule the vampire world but they have to swear to back off of the Cullens. They agree, and Edward and Bella go off to live in Alaska for a while.

Wow, ok, Why don’t I start off with the obviose(other than the fact I can’t spell) I love your podcast. Duh(;D).
Well ok, theories:
1) I don’t think that we’re going to see it when Romeo and Juleit, ah…. I mean *Edward and Bella*(inside joke) go to tell Charlie about their wedding. Here’s my reason: At the end of Ec Jacob had received a wedding invitation, that means that Charlie has already acsepted, although most likely grudgingly, that his baby girl has grown up and is getting married. As for Renee, well I think that she will be the difacult one, although she will attend the weding, she will leave early.
2) I don’t think that Jake or Leah imprinted on each other. First of all, Mrs. Meyers has basicly said so. Second of all, you can tell from the last sence in the book that Leah’s point in life is to annoy Jacob. I MAY BE WRONG now that I truly think about it, but I still say nay.
Ok, that’s what I think WON’T happen, here’s what I think will aka, my version of the book:
I think that it will open with the night before the weding, Alice will be annoying Bella to death so she’ll go to say goodbye to Jake. When she discovers that he is not there(Ec said he left, it didn’t say he came back). Then she will drive home and cry herself to sleep. The next day Edward and her will get married, but during the service Alice will have a vision of the Volturri coming to put a new deffintion on the phrase “wedding crashers”. So, as soon as the service is over They will leave immedietly, but it will not be long before the Volturi catch up to them and there is a fight and Rosalie will get serriously hurt, but will not die. This will prove to everyone just how much she loves having Bella in the famliy. After this the eight Cullens will go all around the country thying to escape the Volturri, due to some minnor complications Bella won’t be changed during this time. Also, during this time Bella will get her wish and Edward and Her will get down to their birthday suits together. Eventully, after this they will defeat the Volturri with the help of the pack. Once this has ocured the pack will turn on the Cullens because they know that Bella will soon be a Vampire. Then, TADA, Jacob appears and breaks up the fight saying that he has imprinted on a beautiful young lady(I call her Sarah in honner of my Jacob loving best friend), and he just wants Bella to be happy. The book will end with Bella and Edward together in Alaska ready to spend eternity together.
Wow. Didn’t expect it to be that long, and I’ll love Breaking Dawn no matter what.
On second thought, maybe Bella will be changed and that’s why The Cullens defeat the Volturi and the pack turns on them. Just a thought.
i have been thinking that is there was away for edward to be mortal again..roaslie would have figured it out all ready and went back to being mortal before she meet emment?
i wish somehow that when bella becomes a vampire her gift is that she can turn eveyone esle back to a human. then once she is done transformering everone back to a human she can look into a mirror and do it to her self and she can age happly with edward. this also gives rosalie a chance to have the beautiful baby boy she never got the chance to have. (Jacob gets imprinted).
i have a theory that Bella won’t be a Vampire. there are so many reasons that convince me.
1. if Bella lives forever, don’t you think the book will ever stop? and if it does and she’s still alive, that’ll just leave us hanging. even if it was ended nicely, people will keep wondering about what’s happening to Bedward.
2. it’ll be corny if Bella’s wish was granted. don’t get me wrong, i would love the fact that Bella turns into a Vampire. but its just that, a factor keeping the story running was, like, the thing about Edward keeping her human. and if she does turn into a Vamp, no one can look forward to anything. the book was so very popular and long awaited coz people wanna know whether Bella would be a Vamp. if they transform her, …well,… what’s to look forward to? just the romance?
3. what’ll happen to Jacob?
really, i HATE Jacob Black. but seriously, the poor guy would di if Bella turns into a Vamp. poor kid.
4. what’ll happen to CHARLIE?! (and Renee…)
Charlie already hates Edward as it is, and Bella can’t just keep quiet ’bout the Vamp thing.
5. sooner or later, Bella would want a child, right? sure she says its okay, but thats what everyone says when their still young. she might regret this coz she’ll see people having kids, her friends having kids. she will get jealous.

I think that somehow Jacob is going to injure Bella by changing to close to her probally when he gets mad about the wedding or about her wanting to be a vampire. Jacob is then going to beg Edward to save her he would rather see her become a vampire than die. Sam will cause trouble about the treatie being broke and threaten war with the Cullen family if Edward changes her. Then Jacob will be forced to claim his right as Alpha or cheif so the treatie can be broke in order to save Bella. Then hopfully poor Jacob will imprint on someone so he can be happy too.
Ok here is my theory, although I can’t seem to decided on one, I keep changing them too often. please bear with English is not my native language:
I truly think that the voulturri (however you spell that) wont go to war against the cullens I mean think about it if the cullens kill the voullturri then the whole vampire world would be in anarchy and that is just scary, I don’t think that the cullens wan that kind of responsibility on their heads, however I do think that the voultuarri threat would come from Jane and Alec. i believe Jane has enough influence to gather a small army and go against the cullens just to get rid of Bella.
and that’s when the wolves would join the cullens to fight said army. I’m still undecided as to when this theory would take place whether before or after Bella’s transformation. However I love the idea of a marriage of equals I mean Bella has a lot of insecurities about herself with respect to Edward and I would love to see Bella grow into her on and realize how truly magnificent she is before she weds.
As far as Jake goes, i love this boy but I don’t want him for Bella. I want to see him truly happy and even get passed the whole vampire prejudice. It’ll be cool if the wolves and the cullens united and become true friends and true allies, and do away with the stupid treaty.

Ok I posted this in the question of the week for “Jella” but I thought I would post more thoughts about it:
Ok so I have this feeling Jacob will be present for the “biting” of Bella. I don’t know exactly what events will lead up to this but I think Bella will be on the brink of death(from what I don’t know). I see her laying on the ground dying as Edward holds her almost lifeless body. Jacob sees her dying and yells at Edward to bite her, to save her. Then Edward(after an inward struggle) will bite her and Jacob makes sure he stops before he kills her. Then Jacob says goodbye to Bella for the last time. I just think it would be bittersweet having the 2 loves of her life present for the end of her life with the one exception that Edward will be present for the rest of her existence. I think thats the only way the whole Jacob, Bella, and Edward situation could be resolved. Jacob could then move on and find what he needs knowing Bella was destined for that life. LOL OK woaa I just got way to deep…I just want the book to come out so I don’t have to think so hard anymore!
I have a theory! It’s actually for Bella’s “power”. So, I know this is copying Heroes a bit (with Peter), but I actually think it’s a good theory. I think Bella will be able to “absorb” other people powers, then use them. And not just when she’s around them, but any time. So, she’s not really blocking them- she’s absorbing them! Oooh, I have a feeling Edward will turn mortal too.. although, I have no idea if that’s even possible.
I can imagine the book saying something like
“I looked at Edward’s eyes, and instead of looking golden or black, they were green”
(remember how it was ‘randomly’ mentioned that Edward once had green eyes?)
I always come up with a theory that have to do the podcast after they post, but I really like this one and feel Jacob needs to be cast in a better light. Sorry I like the big guy.
One thing I’ve noticed about Stephine’s writing is that she uses music as inspiration or platform to describe a character and/or their emotion. One of the bands that is used a lot is Blue October. I’m a huge Blue October fan. They have a song that I would not be surprised if it is a premise of Jacob at the wedding. The song is call “congratulations”. This is just a bit of the song.

I expect Jacob to be at the wedding not to cause drama but for solace. He loves Bella and would want nothing more than to see her happy, even if it leaves him incomplete.
As for a “fight”. I think Sam (I maybe wrong here) was the one who reminded them of the original agreement the Cullens made with the pack. That if they bit ANYONE the agreement was over. I imagine that the pack will hold off til after the wedding but there will be a fight Pack vs. Cullens.
Since Jacob doesn’t want to be alpha I wouldn’t be surprised if the pack fights on Sam word instead of Jacobs wishes. During this fight Bella who is still mortal gets near fatally injured by Sam. Then I think Jacob will swoop in and ask Edward to go and save Bella by turning her. While I’m sure most of the Cullens will be tending to this task since Edward really doesn’t know exactly how to safely go about it. Then I can see Jacob and Sam fighting to the death.
Thus bring a nice closer for Bella and Edward saga and leaving a nice opening for a possible Jacob book. I can see it now Jacob the lone wolf with a broken heart fighting the good fight against the evil vamps everywhere.
Okay i just want to say right off the bat that i am a huge edward fan but i also do have a soft spot for jacob, even though he can be very annoying. my theory also comes from listening to music (i have a huge twilight playlist on my ipod) especially lullaby by billy joel. I keep imagining an epilogue where bella and jacob have been married with lots of little kids and her putting them to bed with her lullaby, waiting for her werewolf to come home. this is for several reasons, first, i don’t really think that Bella will become a vampire because as a human, the readers can relate to her more. Second, jacob is right when he says that Edward is like a drug to her and if Edward were to (god forbid) die in breaking dawn i really think that she could recover and be with jacob (she was close to doing so before she jumped off the cliff). Finally, here are the lyrics to the final stanza of lullaby:
Goodnight my angel , now it’s time to dream,
And dream how wonderful your life will be.
Someday your child may cry, and if you sing this lullaby,
Then in your heart there will always be a part of me.
Someday we’ll all be gone

it would be heartbreaking, but also hauntingly beautiful, if bella always remembered edward like that when she played her lullaby.
Okay guys i have another theory, but i will warn you, its out there… Just thinking outside the box.
Okay so Charlie hears about the wedding, but at the same time the Voultri do, and they see that Bella is still human.
When they see shes still human they cook up an evil little plot to bite Charlie, so that Bella would have to turn to help Charlie.
So Bella askes Edward to bite her, but he won’t, because hes too stubborn, and he knows something she doesn’t…
So Bella gets on a plane and flys to Italy, and she is on a crowded town square, its a rainy day, and she see charlie, and he sees her, and she runs too him, and hes different, and then he walks with her into an alley, and he attacks, because hes a new vampire.
Suddenly, before Charlie can start to feed, Edward and the Warewolves come to see him and they come to beat him out.
Rosalie, is helping Bella while the others fight to keep her safe, suddenly Bella starts to change, and Rosalie notices a little bite around her elbow, and she takes Bella into a sewer, where she stays with her for the next three days.
Bella wakes up, but she isn’t any different, she went through all this pain, but is still the same old bella… Rosalie is shocked and doesn’t dare go find Edward, because he will think she stopped her in mid transformation, little does she know edward has a theory that proved to be true.
Bella is scared and confused, and she goes out to look for Edward, leaving Rosalie in the sewer. And when Bella finds Edward, he isn’t shocked to see her, her normal self, and he explians that, she is already is ammune to the venom, because she was bitten by James. And he thought it would disapoint her, and he didn’t think she would believe him anyways.
So though, Edward always longs for her blood he can’t kill her, but he can still hurt her, and so he has to be a careful vampire the rest of their eterinity together, but they do have eterinity, so in a way is happy.
My mom came up with likely theories for book four:
1) Jacob will probably imprint on someone Bella already knows-my mom suggested one of her friends, but wouldn’t he have already done so by now, at the graduation party?-and bella could be a) jealous or b) worried about her friend/acquaintace/whatever being hurt by a werewolf, or c) both.
2) the wedding night will probably be a disaster-Edward probably couldn’t control himself that much.
3) Bella may choose to wait a little bit, or choose to not be changed at all. if so, eventually something will happen-another “near-death experience”-in which Edward will be FORCED to change her to keep her alive.
4) the volturi-everyone in it-will show up during or after Bella’s transformation, and likely pick a fight w/ the cullens over her-thus we’d learn what alec’s, felix’s, etc. powers are.
5) Since Jacob ran away, if he doesn’t come back, the rest of the pack may think the cullens had something to do with the disappearance. if Cullens and werewolves fight, the cullens may feel they need help and might call up the Denali clan, thus we’d find out what kate,eleazar, etc. powers are.
some of these are a little out there, but we (my mom and I) are trying to keep it realistic….I do like McKell’s idea-Bella being immune to venom, because of James? that was a weird idea, but interesting.

my mom actually wrote a little segment for the end of eclipse wher Edward becomes human. supposedly it’s after the fight with victoria, during which bella got knocked out-a concussion, the usual. now bella is waking up in her room-alice is there, telling her to relax, but bella’s nearly hysterical because alice wont tell her where edward is. they eventually go to the cullen’s, where Edward is ASLEEP-for once-and Carlisle is taking car of him. my mom claimed that edward became human again because he was bitten by a vampire and werewolf (victoria and seth) at the same time during the battle. (i know there are so many things wrong with this, this is just the first thing my mom could think of-also, in this story, seth killed victoria single-handedly, jacob’s still okay, volturi never came, etc.)
any way, at the cullen’s house, this is kind of a little excerpt from my mom’s section:
“Is he going to be okay?”
“I don’t know, I’ve never heard of this happening before.”
“what happening?’
“touch him”
Baffled by the command, i stepped forward to Edward’s large gold bed, and reached out to his sleeping form and touched his arm-and recoiled in shock.
“He’s warm!”
Carlisle nodded. “Yes. I don’t know how it hapened bella, but…I think….Edward is human again.”
I crawled onto the bed next to him and touched his warm chest. It was so strange, feeling a heartbeat-in Edward’s chest… he groaned quietly, and I looked up. Edward’s eyes were open.
Edward’s GREEN eyes.
“how do you feel?”
he was confused by the question. ” i feel…sore. and…hungry?” he paused. “I’m what, Carlisle?”
“so you can still hear me. hmm. yes, you’re human, Edward. I’m not sure how…”
Edward turned to me, then struggled out of bed. he swayed for a minute, as though unsure of his balance, but he was graceful as ever. it was so foreign-him so casually dressed (for he only wore black sweatpants, much like Jacob’s)-but then so was the sight of him getting out of bed.
He turned with a grin. “can I have a moment to be human?’
“Bella?”
“mmm?”
“are you awake now?”
I opened my eyes. Edward was there. I studied his face intently, his pale skin, his cold breath on my face, his tawny eyes, alarmed now.
“what, was i talking again?”
“no, but you had the silliest smile on your face. what were you dreaming about?”
i sighed, disappointed and relieved at the same time.
“nothing. it was just… very vivid.”
i know there are many things wrong with that, but remember, my mom wrote it, not me. i just thought i’d post it cuz someone’s comment reminded me of it. i know it would probably never happen, but it’s fun to think what if?
i know i’ve left tons of comments, and this theory is totally out there-way, way, way out there-but what if jacob imprints on one of Alice’s relatives? in New moon, alice said she still had a niece alive in biloxi-that niece would be about 80 yrs old, so if she had a daughter, and her daughter had a daughter-who’d be somewhere between 15 and 25 yrs. old. maybe somehow-i have NO idea how-this girl and jacob meet…and eventually the cullens realize she’s alices…relative, distant relative (i’m too lazy to count all the greats). not that they’d do anything, but whatever… told ya it was out there.

ahem. when someone is changed into a vampire, their senses are intensified, correct? including sense of smell? (can you see wher I’m going with this?)
what if-since, if bella is changed-she gets sick at the smell of blood-wouldn’t that be intensified? so wouldn’t she be appalled by the scent of blood, and not wish to drink it? which would make her…an anorexic vampire? something like that. at least she wouldn’t have to worry about being a murderer, but, how would she eat?
Revamped Theory
I have now read each book about 5 times…
I think the first chapter will have Edward and Bella going to tell Charlie and his reaction. I think SM will give Edward and Bella a perfect wedding and honeymoon. Then they will start to prepare for her change. After that it will be all downhill.
Jacob will return in one last ditch effort to get Bella not be turned. Jacob will start a fight with Edward, verbal at first, then Jacob will lose control and then as he lunges at Edward, Bella will step in a get hurt. She will be hurt to the point he fears she will die, then begs Edward to change her. Edward will take her away to bit her right away. Jacob will be so distraught for what he caused he will run off.
I also think that Volturi will come back, but I think it will also involve the Denali. I think maybe the Volturi pay a visit to find out what has been going on with the Cullens to Denali. The Denali know about the wolves which would make the Volturi mad. I think there will be battle. The wolves will settle the treaty because they will have to fight alongside the Cullens. I think Jacob will give his life for Bella in the end. I hate to say that, but I have feeling.
I don’t see SM killing off Edward or Bella because if one were to die the other would kill themself.
i know i told my theory already but i just thought i would clarify. lets say alice is having a vison and(like with the ballet studio) she dosent know what it is. Bella can touch her hand and have that vision with Alice and help her figure out what it is. hope that makes sense.
i got another one. I think that the Volturi wont come in on the wedding. I can see bella standing on a low platform infront of a mirror in her wedding dress with Alice Rosile and Esme standing around her and Jane walks in. (Dramatic music) she will warn bella that she has only a little while to become a vampire. I think the problem with charlie knowing bout vampires is then the volturi will come after him and that would not be good.;)
Now up until recently, the thought of any charactert in the next book dying had naver been an option to me,but with all the theories going around about “someone” dying, it made me start thinkig, “who would die in Breaking Dawn???”so i thought about it, and I think that if anyone were to die it would be Sam Uley. What I see happening is before the weding, or maybe after the wedding, but before Bella’s a vampire,Sam protects Emily from “something”, I’m not sure what, but its something bad,possibly the Volturri,and Bella was able to witness Sam’s sacrife.If it was the Volturri and Bella was in their presence when this occured, they might give Bella a warning and give her a set amount of time (maybe something like a week) to be changed into a vampire. So with this in mind, she would probably be more focussed on the thought of how Emily’s love was killed,and start to think about how could she live without Edward, and she, despite the devastation of Sam’s death, is able to make up her mind on how devouted she is to Edward and does entirely want to be a vampire, and then she and Edward are able to “try” ( they succeed) and then she is turned,maybe, the following day.
And I had another theory on that a confrontation will occur between the Volturri and the Cullens(possiblly over the death of Sam) but mainly due to the underlying tone that the Volturri are envious of the Cullens and are also worried that they may over power them.(Bella could already be turned and help fight against the Volturri, maybe not) but either way the Cullens win and in turn are the next “royal family”.
And I have one more theory( more of an assumption), that Edward’s gonna ask Bella on what she thinks about going to Hawaii for their honeymoon, Bella throws a fit over it and tells Edward that they will NOT go anywhere extravagant for their honeymoon, and so after the wedding, when Edward is driving Bella off, he tells her that they are going to go on their honeymoon right that minute she throws another fit, pouts, traitor tears start to fall,but she soon realizes that Edward id only driving back to the Cullen’s house.Bella is utterly confused. The rest of the Cullen’s are not home, and Edward tells Bella that they won’t be back until the following night. Edward escorts Bella up to his room and opens the door to reveal a room that only Alice could decorate so ornately to take on the ambianceof a “honeymoon”. Bella begins to cry tears of relief and joy, and(as if we didn’t see this comming) they finally are able to “try” YAY!!!!! and SM would be able to write this in such a way that you’ll get diabetes its so sweet!
I think there is going to be a war between Cullens/wolves/Volturi (whos side people will be on i dont know) Bella after becoming a vamp will be able to stop the war with her cool power she is going to get
Me personally, I think that in Breaking Dawn, Jacob will come back to try one last time to stop Bella from changing, but I think he will have imprinted on someone while he was gone. I also think that a major character will die, as much as I hate it.
okay so , i just started listening to your podcast and i just wanted to tell you that i LOVE IT!..you guys keep my interested the entire time and at times i start to talk back to what you are saying and my family is like, ‘what are you doing?!’ haha…
as for my theories…
i REALLY hope that edward and bella end up together, if they dont i will be dissapointed, as i have been my entire life with love stories..cant there be ONE STORY ( paticularly this one since i love it so much ) where the two FATED LOVERS actually END UP TOGETHER?! if they dont end up together i really dont know how i would feel about the books anymore…i would obviously still love them, but i may just completely disregard the final book and just pretend that it ends with eclipse! haha..
also, after reading some of of these theories i have become SO NERVOUS..i really hope that no main character dies..even thought that does happen in most books/movies..i would be so upset!…ahh im such a hopeless romantic, and that is why i hope that stephenie stays true to herself, a fellow hopeless romanitc, and gives the books a TRUE happy ending…
one thing that i would REALLY love to happen in this book ( this is such a controversial topic hahah ) , if bella doenst become a vampire ( which she better ) ..i would LOVE if edward found a way to be human..yes him being a vampire is AMAZING and gives him most of his appeal..i would rather him be human and the two of them be together, than them not be together at all…

I was listening to your podcast on Bella and Edward, and the questions were about if the wedding was going to interrupted by the wolves. I believe that they will come and interrupt the wedding. I don’t remember where this happened (most likely new moon) but I remember Jacob mentioning that the treaty would be broken if a vampire BITES (not necessarily kills) A HUMAN, therefore a war would be waged between the wolves and the cullens. I believe jacob will come to the wedding to remind edward of this condition. And I think that to make matters even worse, Alice will have a vision that the volturri are coming to check if Bella is changed. Bella’s change is inevitable, and thus it is either life or death for her. Obviously Edward will change her, but then the war between the werewolves and the cullens would occur!!! And of course, I love edward and dislike jacob! I would think that if jacob loved her as much as he claims he does, he would let her be happy with Edward. By Jacob fighting with edward, this only hurts bella. I love your podcast by the way!!
i’ve seen several people leave the idead that, since it is supposedly loosley based on a midsummer night’s dream, maybe the whole series is a dream to bella or something. i can imagine it ending with her saying something about falling asleep in edward’s arms or whatever, and in the epilogue her aking up to a pilot announcing that the plane is about to land in port angeles and she;d been asleep for the bast four hours (an hour per book-that’s funny) and then she stumbles off the plane to charlie. not that the whole series would eb rewritten or anything, but charlie might be like, “how was the flight?” and she goes “fine. i fell asleep, though. i had a really weird dream…” and charlie says something like, “well you know, dreams can be very prophetic.” or something like that…
So, I’m not really sure where this would fit in, but has anybody thought about the Denali clan’s issues with the werewolfs? To put it simply, they’re out for revenge, and we’ve heard too much about them in other books not to have them pop up in the last one. So, maybe they have to fight the volturi and have to deal with that situation.
Also, with the midsummer’s night dream thing, SM has already said that none of her other books will be as based on another story as NM was on Romeo and Juliet, so i think that if MND comes into play, it will be because the werewolves are imprinting, which goes along with the theme of falling in love w/o meaning to and w/ no control over the situation.
i agree with the kelly below me…jacob sucks. i have no idea how anyone can possibly feel sorry for him…no one can compete with edward <3

my theory:
the denali clan will come to the wedding. jacob will show up late to the wedding and the denali clan will flip out on jacob cause hes one of the werewolves that killed laurent.
i do not think the volturi will start a war with the cullens. and i do not think that bella will be some super-vampire. i hope shes still a klutz
i really Hope Toni’s idea about jacob and the Denali’s is wrong, though it seems about ten million times more likely than mine.
i know mines WAY out there, but im a Jacob Fan, and i can’t help but try and find SOME way for him.
it’s really simple, Jacob may not beable to imprint on Bella now, but what if he’s able to imprint on her when she turns into a vampire, cause she’s KINDA a new person…..

this isn’t really a theory but i was thinking about something that i think you should talk about in a future show. i think you should compare and contrast EVERYTHING about vampires and werewolves. i know you’ve talked about it a little before in week 7 but i think it would be really interesting to go more into depth with it. think about it!

Even the volturi can’t affect her mind, so maybe the whole vampire thing wouldn’t work either

MY PREDICTION:
I think Bella and Edward’s wedding will happen in the beginnin of Breakign Dawn. Everything will go as planned, and Alice will probably do the whole thing. However, Bella’s turnign into a vampire will be postponed because of the treaty or that Bella is not ready yet. She will realize being a human is better than she thought it would be and will miss her present life greatly if she turned. Then, another crisis will occur. Finally, at the very end of the book, she be turned by Edward.

So, this is supporter speculation, right? Well, here’s my theory.
About the wedding…
I really don’t think the Volturi will crash the wedding. They visited with the Cullens very recently- right after the battle with Victoria’s army at the end of Eclipse- and Alice confirmed with Jane a date was set for Bella’s change. I doubt that the Volturi are so concerned that they’d interfere with what was going to seal the deal on Bella’s transformation- the wedding.
The werewolves are definitely going to be a big part of the book. I see at least Jacob attending the wedding, probably with friends to back him up, emotionally and protectively. However, although we all know he’s going to be extremely upset, I doubt that he would make a huge scene.
Even though Jake might not make a fuss, I think there will be a lot of drama… but instead of the werewolves or the Volturi, it will be caused by the Denali clan. They have been talked about throughout the series, but without an appearance. I think the Denalis would consider Edward and Bella’s wedding a great occasion to get together with the Cullens. If the werewolves are also in attendance, there would be a massive amount of friction between the two parties, due to Laurent’s death.
About the plot…
My theory is that the book will mostly focused on a war between the werewolves and the Denalis, with the Cullens stuck in the middle, wondering who to side with. On one hand, the werewolves saved Bella from Laurent AND helped them against Victoria. However, the Denalis have always been tight with the Cullens, and to side with the pack would be to side against an equally large coven, possibly creating tension that would last for eternity. Knowing the Cullens, they won’t favor neutrality.. even with Carlisle’s guidance and negotiative talents, both sides are going to bring on the ultimatums. So who would they choose? Hmm
