Okay, now that that’s cleared, let me say that Kristin Chenoweth would be a terrible Jane. Jane has brown hair, she’s blonde, she doesn’t look child-like, and anybody who’s done a photoshoot for FHM in a tiny bikini is not right to play a twelve-year-old vamp. As for Dakota Fanning, and other girls aged 14-16, they are too old. Someone 13, or 15 at the oldest (as long as they are childlike and are a great actor), would be my ideal age for Jane. Someone over sixteen would be terrible. Anyways, it is not confirmed that Jane is Italian, however, if she is, most Italians aren’t naturally blonde. Jane just ISN’T blonde — she’s not stupid or ditzy, no offence to blondes, but that’s what the blonde sterotype is, not my opinion. In other words, people who haven’t read the book would look at her and be thinking, “Okay, she’s a blonde, she must be an idiot, and not have the ability to be sadistic or evil.” That’s what I’d think, anyway. Besides, Jane has lank, pale brown hair. So, on to who I, probably the only logical person here, think should be cast as Jane. My favourite would probably be Jodelle Ferland, but Ariel Winter would be fabulous as well. I also like Lucy Hale, as long as they make her look like a child, which wouldn’t be too difficult.
However, Jane has already be cast by Summit as Dakota Fanning. I am on the verge of murdering whoever made this decision. She didn’t even AUDITION, they just rang her up and asked her if she wanted to play Jane. I am going to throw myself off of a high building after I see New Moon.
