I love the story line and I have been recommending it to everyone I know. This series is highly addictive. I enjoy the fact that it takes place in Oregon and India, it introduces Indian culture and beliefs, and it’s unpredictable. I like the infusion of poetry and think that it adds a unique element to the series. I have visited your website and I like the fact that you have posted actors that you believe could be cast as the characters as well as the outfits that you described that Kelsey wears. It helps give us a visual on what you are describing, especially, since there are many of us not familiar with the outfits worn in India. I cannot wait for Tiger’s Destiny and the next which I think the girls mentioned is Tiger’s Dream. Write on!

I think a fansite is an absolutely good idea! I would just like to add my opion to whe you guys asked what caught my eye on this book and what made me read it. Right now i believe that most of the resent popular book series around the world are being based on werewolves or vampires with the vampire academy written by richelle mead and of course the twilight series by stephenie meyer being good examples. but i personally was ready 4 something new and different. i was looking at the book store when of course no other but tigers curse book cover caught my eye. iread the blorb on the back and decieded that is looked good. and well from the first page onwards………i was hooked!

My words to describe kelsey: self-conscious” “un-trusting (of herself)”.

I don’t mind an author sharing their mental image while they’re writing, its more insight than ‘tellingthe someone what to visualize’. I actually shared some of her imagery before she posted the images.

I just hope the movie doesn’t mutilate the books as bad as twilight was done, given that its the same company that did twilight ..

I loved listening to this, and I’m really looking forward to your website! I haven’t been able to get many of my friends to read the books, and the ones who have don’t like them as much as I do so I don’t have anyone in real life to talk about them with. This podcast is like the next best thing!

It’s funny, because being a Bollywood fan is what led me to the Tiger books, but I HATE the actors Colleen picks for the characters and I really have to force myself not to take her suggestions seriously. 😛 I have to make a conscious effort not to see Kishan as John Abraham even though I know he’s who she likes, because I already had a negative impression of him from watching his movies – he’s a terrible actor, and I don’t find him attractive at all (I know I’m in the minority there, but he just looks sleazy and weird to me). But while I was reading I was mentally casting the characters as Bollywood actors myself, with actors I like, so it’s fairly easy for me to see Kishan in my head as Prabhas instead, or Ren as Vivan Bhatena.

On the other hand, I can’t complain too much about her choices, because that’s what drew me to the books in the first place, was this intersection between my love of Bollywood and India in general, and my love of YA romance. And if it introduces more people to Bollywood because they like one of the “Bollywood Boy” posts Colleen does on her site, all the better!

Oh, and just for the record, I’m Team “Ren for Kelsey, Kishan for me!” 😀
