It will be a blockbuster.
Holla…I think that this movie is gonna rock it hardcore! I know that there is so much hype around the entire series all together, however, I think that is why the box office numbers are gonna score some major hits!

i TOTALLY think the movie is going to be okay. the third movie trailer buried all of my doubts. if the movie is BAD summit entertainment is gonna be on several vendetta lists. if a certain actor acted badly they are in so much trouble with the twilight community.
I think the movie will be a blockbuster. i hav a feeling that certain things in the movie are gonna be better than other parts. if the movie is not a blockbuster summit entertainment is going to get alot of hate. look what happened with breaking dawn. some people didnt like it and then they started bashing stephenie meyer. it really depends on WHAT in the movie made it suck. was it the dialogue? (bash melissa rosenburg who wrote script) was it the actors?
p.s. people who hav read the books are gonna be extremely critical of details

First of all I can’t wait to see this movie! I also can’t wait to see sequels! Those are the main things for me. We all know that the books are terrific and I love them. If the movie is not a blockbuster the books fabulousness will not change. I just think it will be great to see the casts idea of what twilight looks, sounds, and feels like. But I really do think that it will be a blockbuster though. I mean the trailers show promise and the cast is great, I think. Anyway I hope and believe it will be good! I LOVE your podcast and try to answer the question of the week every week!

I think that this movie will be a blockbuster but no one can know for sure. If the movie is NOT a blockbuster then I would be really interested to know what will happen to the movie of new moon? If I was making a movie with a sequel I’m pretty sure that i wouldn’t sign a deal on the second one before the first one even came out! Who does that?! Anyway If it isn’t a blockbuster I’d definatey wan’t to see what changes they make to New Moon so that people will go and see it and not think of it as the sequel to that bad movie with vampires that i saw last year. But i hope they think of it as this cool movie about werewolves and do you think it matters that i havent seen the first one?
All i am hoping for is that this movie will be a STINKIN’ blockbuster because if it’s not then we could have some casting changes on our hands for New Moon.

oookkkkay. i think this movie is going to be sooo freakin awesome!!!!!! so of course this movie will be a blockbuster!!!!!! and trust me, since it is going to be a blockbuster, stephanie will have to finish writing midnight sun because then she will fully realize that the twilight fan base is HUGE and i mean HUGE!!!! and if it is not, knock on wood, then i would be deeply sad because then it would feel like the twilight fans aren’t supporting the movie, which i believe it is not true. so basically what i am trying to say is that based on the fan base and people i know that are going to see it because it looks interesting, this movie will be a blockbuster! and i cant wait!

Omg! It HAS to be a Blockbuster! Twilight is like the best book ever and I think that they couldn’t have picked a better cast for the movie! But even if its not a blockbuster I am still going to buy it!
I desperately hope that twilight is a blockbuster because i think stephenie should get all the credit in the world that one night she dreamed up that meadow! i think that it will be a blockbuster, the movie hasn’t come out yet and already the fan base is harry potter sized (im not comparing the 2 its just to show the number) …. within the 1st 48 hours the final trailer was out it got about 4.3 million hits…. thats insane! i am thinking the way things are going right now that twilight is going to do amazing on the big screen! and thank you to all the people that run this website (you’re my top twilight sight)
Of course Twilight will be a blockbuster! All the fans of the books + the trailers attracting new people= a recipe for success! If Twilight doesn’t become a blockbuster, well then…. thats hard to think about! All the fans will be let down, and i doubt Summit entertainment or the cast would like it very much if that many people had a problem with the movie. But we don’t even have to worry about that because it WILL become a blockbuster!

I really think that this movie will be a blockbuster because, come on, if there were 3.5 million views of the trailor The first few hours it was out, then thats telling you something.
The cast is awesome, and from what people are seeing from the movie stills/trailers/ and interviews, the movie seems to stay pretty true to the book, and thats what we are all excited about!
Kristin and Rob both have amazing chemistry from what i have witnessed (and others as well), and that is something that i was nervous about at first. Their interaction with one another is what will make or break the movie, and i think its golden!!
Not to mention, i already took the day off from work, and some of my friends are skipping class to see the movie.. CAN’T WAIT!!
Twilight already is a ‘STINKIN’ blockbuster! There is no doubt in my mind that thousands will go to see the movie. Anyone who sees the trailer and is not interested needs to have their eyes checked. Whether you are dying to see more of the kiss (like I am) or can’t wait to see James get it in the end, people will flock to the movie. It has something for everyone.

Well the trailer was good. However, there are some things i was unsure about that would want to make those who have not want to read the book go see it. for exsample Edward making Bella say Vampire out loud and when Edward is in the tree telling bella that he family isn’t lik eother vampires, he looks constipated to me. But Twilight has such a huge fan base that there is without a doubt that it was be big and that New Moon with be made. i know that i’m making all my friends and family go see it cause i want it to do well. I’m still uger those who havn’t read the book to read it before seeing the movie. cause for exsample, harry potter movies are good, but the boooks are better. You don’t get the full experience of bella and edward love for each other by looking at a screen but i’m sure that robert and kristen will do well.

To answer the question, I would say definitely. I believe that it will be a blockbuster. There is a HUGH group of fans of the book, in just my circle of friends even those that haven’t read the books are going to see the movie. Not everyone is a reader and there will probably be people that love the movie that haven’t read the book and even though not everything from the book will be the same as it is in the book and thats where I think the saying, “don’t judge a book by its movie,” is so vital.
Whether it follows the book as to have all the i’s dotted and all the t’s crossed it will still be a huge success. If the trailers are already taking places on highest viewed trailers I think the movie will come through. It will be a hit how high that hit will be, no one really knows, but if everything thats already happening has anything to do with it, its going to be huge no matter what! I’m already planning on seeing it multiple times!

The way I see it if you don’t read the book, you will not completely understand it. I have been a twilight fan for a very long time and know that it is going to be a great blockbuster. I really hope it passes up batman. There are so many fans that love the vampire world , we just crave more. We can not get enough of it. I realize that the movie may be a little diffferent than the book, but I am ok with that. I know that I have to go in the theater with an open mind that everything might not be the same. To me, the director has picked the best cast. Kristin and Rob are the perfect Bella and Edward. I am so excited to see Twilight. I have been waiting for over a year to see it.

Speaking about movies I did hear that they will be making New Moon and Eclipse. But what about Breaking Dawn? Will we not have a conclusion? Or will we be left with a cliff hanger?
Breaking dawn is the best book out of the Twilight Series. I will would be crushed if it wasn’t made into a movie.
Just an FYI…since there seems to be a lot of concern whether or not Twilight will do well in theaters come Nov. 21st…not to worry!!! New Moon is already slated for production, announced by Summit earlier this week. I understand that everyone is worried that all expectations won’t be met…well, you are RIGHT! There has been so much heart and sole put into the project, Stephenie herself has had more say than any other author out there who turns over their books to the movie. Stop worrying people and please just try to enjoy the movie as a separate entity. Sorry, had to vent because I’m so tired of the negative people out there. And what is so ironic to me is that the most negative people, are FANS of Twilight. Let’s be supportive 🙂
I agree with the majority of the comments left by your loyal listeners…….the fanbase for Twilight will create a blockbuster by supporting the movie on opening weekend. However, when we leave the theatre will we feel fulfilled?
If not, I plan on going home and picking up my life where I left off…….no gain, no loss. I will continue to support Stephenie Meyers and look forward to her captivating stories……whether on-screen or in books.
I think that Twilight will most certainly be a blockbuster because the cast and crew are not changing the film that far from the book. This is where a lot of movies screw up, they change the film version and you lose that pull that audiences already had with the book. Because the Twilight cast and crew are staying true to the book, the fans will be able to fall in love with the Cullens all over again.
Now if the movie isn’t a blockbuster I think that some of the fans will be disappointed because they wanted a good representation of the books. However l think I will like the movie whether it is a blockbuster or not because I love Twilight and I can’t believe that after all the hard work they put in, the movie won’t rule the box office! Also I don’t want to hear my stupid macho guy friends talking trash on my favorite vampires!

Twilight is an amazing book. I agree with many other fans that the movie will be good, but I’m pretty sure it won’t measure up to th book. I know i am high on twilight 24/7 and so are alot of other people who are as well, but I am not convinced that kristen will be able to portray Bella. I am convinced (based off of trailers, stills, and interviews.) that rob will be amazing. He gives me goose bumps, and i find myself picturing my Edward like Rob when I read it over and over and over again.
I think it will be a blockbuster. And if it’s not, hearts will stop and people will die. I believe in all the twilight fans that they will bring the hipe up on the movie and bring new readers to the series.
One more thing, I’m going off the last question of the week and I can not live without the scene where edward is in his room and he throws the couch and what not. I can live without Charlie and his obsession with sports and Billy coming over and warning Bella all the time. (If I remember correctly, it is in the first book)
also. if you go on youtube.com you can see an interview where it shows the prom scene (well parts) and VICTORIA IS THERE! I was like, “What the holy bible is this about!” (that probally made cassie laugh hehehhehehe love you two) so yeah I think they put here in there to leave a cliff hanger because the next movies are when she has her revenge. So i am pretty sure the rest are coming. Anyway, type in – twilight prom scene in canada. it blew me away.

Hi Guys, I am super sorry to say that I dont think Twilight will be a Blockbuster in the sense that everyone will love it. The Cast just isn’t right and the whole theory of Twilight is not something that can be recreated in a film. Cathrine Hardwick has made some small changes that stand out like a sore thumb to people who know the books well . During the baseball game it looks really bad for them to wear team suits, BAD LOOK!!!!!!! Plus they made Robert look too scary, the human facade has to be SLIGHTLY believalbe, honestly people. I will see the movie at least twice and buy the DVD but I dont think it will be a blockbuster hit. SORRY EVERYONE! My friend and I say “See the movie from the perspective that it is just another movie” if you have doubts because you dont want to get you hopes crushed. It will suck big time if they ruin Twilight.
