Why Kristen Declined Presenting At Oscars

Access Hollywood asked Kristen’s dad about why she didn’t present at the Oscars Sunday night and this is what he had to say:
“John responded that Kristen would present at the Oscars, “When it’s a great movie, not just one that makes a lot of money.”
She is one of the rudest actresses I’ve ever watched take over Hollywood. I respect her for doing Twilight but other then that, I find her utterly repulsive. Sorry, dudes. It must be a hard life to live, but I still think being snobby and “mature” doesn’t mean she should be rude about it. I dunno…
wow thats pretty sad if shes talking about twilight i mean y would she have said yes to it or continue to make the movies if she doesnt event think there that great. its dissapointing to hear her say that
what the heck does that mean, is it just me and it doesnt make any sense or not cause im confused,. And to tell you how confused i am its more confusing then algebra 1, lol
What the hell?!!!!! Kristen Stewart is a BITCH!!! Now that i got that out of my system, i have a something 2 say; ” Maybe we will actually want her to present at the Oscars when she is a good actress, not just one that makes alot of money” WHich will never happen! Take that KStew and ur dad! Honestly, I thought she SUCKED as Bella!!!! She was a horrible Bella( maybe cuz she’s a horrible actress, Panic Room was terrible.) With all her dramatic pauses and all that shit!!! In the meadow scene, when Edward says “Are you afraid?” she takes 17 seconds(over half a minute) to respond a simple “No” and when she finally spit it out she ACTED AFRAID!!! And, when Edward is suckin her bllod in the end her grunts sound like she is constapated, not becoming a vampire Plus, she look soooooo ugly in the movie, her eyes looked like bruises!!! And she always acts so stuck up, and embarrassed by Twilight! She should be embarrassed of HERSELF in that performance! She ruined the movie! So here is some advice 4 u Kristen, take some acting lessons, get a new ake-up artsit, and STOP talking like a MAN(cuz hewr voice was deeper than Rob’s)!!!!!!
I completely agree where Kristen is coming from because she has her values in order, the Oscars are a really big thing and she only wants to be a part of it when she’s being acknowledged for a remarkable role. Probably, to her, she didnt think that she should be there for Twilight because she doesn’t think that “her” acting was good enough to be acknowldged. Still, she was only asked to present and I think she turned a great opportunity down.
Kristen has always said good things about Twilight. After she read the script, and realized that the story was more than just what’s on the surface she begged to be in it. I don’t think she was dissing Twilight at all. This is being taken to literal. We didn’t even hear her say this, so I wouldn’t judge her to harshly.
I think it’s time think about replacing her. She is not a good Bella. She was less than great in her Bella. She looked so stupid on Letterman and it’s as if she doesn’t care about ANYTHING!!!
Kristen has done an amazing job of insulting the Twilight fans. Her interview in Nylon was rude, and now she has insulted the movie that made her truly famous. As a movie fanatic, I was always aware of her, but she was never in the spotlight until now. Maybe she needs to go back to the shadows. Insulting your fans is no way to get ahead. I’m not saying that I believe Twilight is and Oscar-worthy film by any means. However, it was a huge movie in 2008, and by inviting her to present, the academy was recognizing that. I’m glad the Rob stepped up and represented the movie, but I agree that it would have been better if Kristen had been his co-presenter, especially with filming beginning on New Moon in the near future. I’m just disappointed that she is the only member of the case that doesn’t understand how wonderful this opportunity truly is. Other cast members have fought tooth and nail in order to keep their roles and she’s going around insulting the movie and its fans. The only thing I can think to do is just sit and shake my head and hope that she grows up and realizes that she’s making a huge mistake by having this attitude.

and i also think that she DOES appreciate and understand her role in twilight,
and she’s as into it as anyone else.

Why is her dad answering questions for her? If this is honestly what he said then I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I honestly think she didn’t get invited and thats why her dad lashed out. I think Robert has a much bigger fan base then Kristin. You tend to get more rattings if the hot guy goes to the event not the girlfriend. I think thats why her dad is so pissed because if you look at her track record for movies her last good one was Panic Room!!! After that she just started playing the same dumb character in every single movie. I think that saying this statement was a really dumb career move considering she is suppose to make 3 more movies and who wants to hire someone with an ego that big? She can’t play different characters, she admitted to never reading the book which is why I think she portrayed Bella so badly. I think the movie itself was bad but before I get off the subject I will end with this. Yes the movie was bad, and Kristen you sucked in almost all your movies anyways, and some career advice. Don’t let your dad answer anymore questions. Its just going to show how big of an ego your family has and if you ever want to go far in this business your going to need to start acting like an adult and if you need to hire a publicists!!! Don’t let your ego tripping Dad answer them for you. Because now you look like a bitch. Just saying…
Natalie, no offense, but she was talking about representing TWILIGHT. Rob introduced a romance montage, NOT an award. Therefore, you saying her dad’s remarks were because she didn’t approve of handing out an award to some other money making movie makes no sense. EVEN if by some weird thing it was what you say, that would have even been ruder. Who is she say what defines great out of 5 movies up for an award while her’s wasn’t?
Think about it. She was talking about being a representation of the movie twilight with Rob. She did not want to be visually or formally identified with that in front of the world. She thinks she is better than that. SA-LAP!
GET IT? You guys have got to take the blinders off! You are contantly making excuses for her bad behavior! YES, she was psyched when she got the role, but when it turned into a huge ‘money making’ movie with a responsibilty to a huge group of fans, she got regretful.
She needs to go back underground with the Indies. She is going to be more MISERABLE in the coming two years if she stays with Twilight. This OBVIOUSLY is not what she bargained for! OR, she IS a great actress and is being a drama queen with a huge ego looking for some of the huge attention sent Rob’s way???
