Anna Kendrick is no stranger to dramatics. She is the second youngest nominee ever for a Tony Award for the role of Daisy in the Broadway musical adaptation of High Society. The now 23-year-old not only has had numerous roles on Broadway starting at age 10, but some of her first films were Camp and Rocket Science.
Fans will definitely recognize Anna Kendrick in her portrayal of Jessica Stanley in the upcoming Twilight film! In February, MTV announced that she would be a supporting actress in the movie and the Internet was immediately a buzz with people Googling her name. In April she packed up her belongings and left Portland, Maine (her hometown) to get to Portland, Oregon to begin filming. After being cast, she immediately read through all three Twilight books to better understand her character. She admits that she “had no idea what she was getting herself into” and is excited about the film.
