Do you think Edward and Bella will go together to talk to Bella’s parents about the wedding? (We think it would be fun if you also told us what reactions might follow!)

Wow so many people are replying now, I feel somewhat cool that I found you guys early on.
Alright so I think that Edward and Bella would definitely tell Charlie and Renee together. Edward would never make her do that on her own, plus he’d be helpful with the whole mind reading thing he’s got going on. I think Bella would like that emotional support.. I know I would.
Bella: So.. umm.. Ch- Dad… I kind of.. well… Edward and I…
Charlie/Renee: Bella… (probably thinking Bella’s pregnant)
Edward: I have asked your daughter to marry me and she has accepted.
***Chaos ensues.
I honestly think Renee will react moreso on the fact that her daughter is getting married at such a young age. Understandable, looking at her and Charlie’s relationship. She’ll be more internally hurt I think, thinking she raised her better than that. Eventually she’ll accept it, she hasn’t been around her for a year, and she’ll survived with the distraction of Phil.. I’m sure Phil can distract her from this. It would be interesting if she became supermom and helped Alice plan the wedding.. Maybe a little out of character, but interesting nevertheless.
Charlie I think will be more physically angry.. not in a going to rip Edward to shreds anger, but the whole shaking, yelling manner. After I think he’d be a bit depressed seeing as she wouldn’t be there at home anymore to take care of him. I don’t know if he could get over it. He was peeved for months on that fact that Bella even took Edward back after he left her. This is big. I know he’d still love her.. but I think he’ll be left heartbroken.
Alright as for an interruption at the wedding.. I think that’s what everyone is expecting. I don’t think Stephenie Meyer will write that though. It’s too open. Too many vampires around. I think it’ll be after the wedding during the honeymoon. Everyone will be secluded and split up, being easier targets. That is, if there was a plan to attack, and that’s exactly what I think the Volturi would do if they wanted to “check up” on the Cullen family. It makes a lot more sense. Bella won’t be a vampire yet, because she wants to experience them being together as a human before she’s turned. Chaos makes a great plot!

Ok now with question one:
I think that Bella and Edward are going to tell Charlie together. It just seems the right thing to do it. Edward is old fashioned and probably will ask Charlie for Bella hand in marriage. He most likely them try to convince them that they are two young (unknowing of the fact that Edward is 180 years old).To wait till there older and out of college. Also another reason is because his fear of Bella getting hurt again and if something may wrong in the future. After seeing the state that Bella was when Edward left her he would not want that to happen again. He does not want her to go through the same disappointment that he went through with Renee when she left him. They were both young at the time and did not really know what they were getting into. Also if it happened again (which mostly never will for the fact that he does not know the whole truth) to see Bella life less once more would break his heart. He will never truly forget and forgive Edward for the pain he caused her. Also will he blow a gasket, but would get over it to respect Bella wishes. As for Renee, Bella would end up calling her and telling her the news on what will go down soon. She will also take bad. She does not want her daughter to go through what she did. Her mind I believe she would think that the whole life story was repeating again that’s one thing she does not what to happen.
Second question:
I had a bit of an idea this kind goes with Charlie reaction as well. One thing he may do talk to Jacob and try to convince Bella out of it. Thus turning to the day of the wedding when Jake comes to steal Bella or stop the wedding from happing. Thus causing tears from Bella and making her think twice on if this is what she really wants. Even tho being an Edward lover I think Bella may get cold feet. And go with him (I really don’t want that to happen) later on returning to Edward. Jacob will hopefully not turn up at all but you never know. I doubt the Volturi will come they won’t do anything that could accidently lead to people finding out the truth.
1. In my opinion I think that Edward will go with Bella to tell the parents because it is one of the times that they need to be together or else Charlie and Renee might not believe that their daughter really is getting married. I think just the typical reaction from Charlie is going to be he doesn’t talk to Bella for a while (which might be good considering the whole becoming a vampire thing that will be happening soon). But it might be blown up way more from Charlie because he hates Edward for leaving her the first time. He probably thinks that if Edward left her once, what’s going to stop him from leaving her again. I know my dad would probably kill me if I got married at Bella’s age, and would hate any guy I date really.
I don’t really know what Renee’s reaction will be like, shock maybe from the way Bella seems to be following her example of marrying young, like she did with Charlie. I agree with Kallie that Renee will probably think that something else happened rather than a marriage proposal, aka Charlie I’m pregnant although that could never happen, which I think is sad.
2. Oh the interruption, well I believe that two people will invade the wedding. Of course Jacob being one, because he always ends up showing up at the wrong time in the wrong place. He will probably be all like ” Bella I don’t want you to marry him. Don’t become a Bloodsucker like the rest of them.” Though he would probably never say that out loud. Bella would probably see him and tell Edward she would be right back or have seconds thoughts about the marriage with Edward.
I also believe that the Volturi will definitely be showing up for the wedding. Maybe not during the service, but they will be watching it from afar, like planning how they were going to make themselves known. And if Jacob is there, Alice won’t be able to see when they decide to actually check up on Edward and Bella. I really can’t say what I think Jacob will do if that happens and he is there, the whole idea I have for the wedding crashers are Volturi show up after Jacob is there, the Cullen’s are taken off guard, someone sacrifices themselves for Bella.

ok, i really hope that this dosn’t happen, but i have a horrible feeling that bella will need to play the move out card on charlie when they (as in they will both go to tell him) tell him they are engaged and that she will actually move in with the cullens before the wedding and bella will feel horrible about it but there will be nothing she can do because i think that the volturi will crash the wedding and then edward will have to turn bella and she won’t get a chance to make things up with charlie. i know it sounds horrible but i think it might happen since she has tried to play the move out card on several occasions and it worked but this isn’t as simple as the other times and it means a lot more to her than going to jacksonville.
Edward and Bella are going to tell Charlie and Renee about the wedding together since Edward LOVES her so much, he wounld’t leave her alone on something that is very important to her and specially him. He is the type of guy that if he falls in love with someone he would be with her in everything she needs. Charlie of course will be mad because she is getting married with Edward but at the end he will be there for her and respecting the desicions tha she makes. Renee will be sooo surprise since, Bella has always had the consept that getting married at a so young age is kind of stupind and that intelligent people don’t do that, but Renee is always going to support her and she knows that Bella will be happy with Edward, as we have seen in Eclipse were her mom tells her that Edward is madly in LOVE with here and tha he looks like he would die for her. As for the interruptin of the wedding, I really don’t think there will be one, there may be problems at the very beganing with Jacob and the Volturies but I really don’t think they will do that. I really don’t imagine that, NOW I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE BOOK I AM DYING TO READ IT!!!!!

So here is what I’m thinking…
In reguards to question 1, Bella and Edward are definately going to tell Charlie together. At least that’s the direction she was headed in at the end of Eclipse. Besides I don’t see Edward letting Bella face this alone, they’re in this together. Also, Edward could come in handy with his mind reading abilities, he can pretty much control the direction of conversation by knowing what Charlie is thinking. Now I really think Charlie’s reaction would be like most fathers who have an 18 year old daughter who wants to get married straight out of high school. I think if anything that would keep him from coming around it would be knowing how badly Edward had hurt his daughter. All may be be forgiven by Bella and as a father he may forgive Edward for Bella’s sake but he will never forget the way she was effected and how crushed she was. But like many of the others have said Charlie’s reaction probably won’t matter because she’s gonna do what she wants anyway. I couldn’t really theorize about Renee’s reaction I’m guessing she won’t be happy mostly because of the issues she had with her first marriage.
Ok on to question 2! Ah yeah the wheels are spinning now!! Hopefully this makes some sense. I’m not so sure about the wedding being interrupted. I’m more for the idea of it being postponed because of the (dum dum dum)…Volturi. I know I know hear me out first. I think the Volturi might decide to make a trip back to Forks and Alice will see it which in turn will postpone the wedding taking care of the whole fear of vampire exposure thing. My reason for The Volturi coming back is because they feel The Cullen family is more powerful than they realize maybe they feel threatened and they want to find a way to fix this problem before it actually turns into one. I get this idea because in Eclipse, Jane is impressed by the way The Cullens took care of the newborns and Victoria (even though they had help from Jacob and his crew but shhh she doesnt need to know that) but she also says “We’re not used to being rendered unnecessary” So I think maybe they’ll come up with a plan to get some of the Cullens to be a part of their little group as well as Bella so that they can keep their power status among the vampire community. Then hopefully good will conqure evil and everyone will live happily ever after…Tada!

I will have to say of course he will. If you remember at the end of Eclipse Bella stated that it what time to go tell Charlie about the wedding. My bet is that Edward feels that he needs to be there when she tells Charlie because I am guessing Charlie will not be pleased with this news. Edward will be there to help Bella through what I am guessing will be a very difficult conversation. He will be there to protect and defend their decision. I am don’t know if he will be there when Bella tells Renee because that relationship is very different. I think that conversation will be left between Bella and Renee.
I am pretty positive that the wedding will be interrupted. By who now that is the question. I think they are so many possibilities of who could be the one who would object. The most obvious one is Jacob, but I have more of a feeling that it would be someone who no one suspects maybe Renee or Charlie. Those two will want to keep Bella from making a mistake that they once did. Even though Charlie may not view his marriage to Renee as a mistake, but he doesn’t want her to go through that pain of divorce. The same goes for Renee, she wants to protect Bella. I even suspect that Rosalie might be the one to interrupt, just because she thinks that Bella is making a mistake becoming a Vampire, and the marriage will be sealing the deal in that aspect. Rosalie doesn’t want to see Edward unhappy but she doesn’t want Bella to make this commitment and not be able to take it back.

even though i want to speculate about charlie/renee’s reaction to the engagement and what the wedding will play out, I want to wait and read those scenes like stephenie meyer intends for them to happen. Also, can’t help but laugh at the couple’s name, as it is obvious that they are moving forward in their relationship to use their bed for… other purposes. haha, can’t wait to listen to this podcast, which will prolly the best on ein your couple series IMO.
Alrighty, #1 Yes, you pretty much know that they are together to tell Charlie because thats what they’re getting ready to do at the end of Eclipse and I can’t see why he wouldn’t be with her for someting so important.
I am thinking that Charlie will react more calmly than most think.considering Charlie asks her to give him a heads up because he feels like he’s going to lose her soon and he knows it will be to Edward (Charlie isn’t as oblivious as some might think.). Also the way Charlie refers to Edward caring about Jacob like he was a brother after jacob gets hurt makes one think that Charlie is begining to accept Edward again.
I also think Renee will flip out after she finds out(Im thinking Bella will call her after they tell Charlie)but after a long talk Renee will accept it.
#2 Ah, yes the wedding.
I hope Stephanie will let the wedding happen uninterrupted(except for maybe a Bella stumble) and it will be one of the most beautiful parts of the book that will make us tear up everytime we read it. We have to let Edward and Bella have this moment.
I’m sure there will be a little more juicy drama when it comes to Edward and Bells “Trying”. Maybe it goes wrong and Edward mortally wounds her and he has to change her at that moment.
I think that Bella is going to become very powerful after she is changed because she is the only person that Edward, Aro and jane cannot use their mind powers on which makes me think shes very special and changing her is going to bring out something maybe good or bad. The voultri might swoop in and maybe kidnap her and then thats when Jacob returns and then who knows.
Just throwing that out there. Hope it makes sense.

I think Bella is going to make him go with to talk to her parents about the wedding. I don’t think her parents are going to take it well though. Charlie’s reaction may be less volatile than Renee’s, however I don’t think he’s going to take it very well. He doesn’t like Edward and doesn’t make it secret. Especially since Edward can hear what Charlie is really thinking. Renee would probably be very angry with Bella, because she’s given the impression that marriage before thirty is bad. She’ll probably try to change Bella’s mind.
I’m still debating on whether the wedding will be interrupted and by who. I think everyone thinks Jake will because of his love for Bella, but I think, or rather hoping, that he has more love/respect for her than to interrupt her on her wedding day.
Of course I hope that they are going to tell them about the engagement together, that was the end of Eclipse and I really hope that Stephenie Meyer let’s us see what happens instead of just starting the book a few weeks later like I think could be a possibility.
IF we get to see what happens then Edward and Bella are going to go to Charlie and tell him and he will probably be too stunned to say anything at first, I can just see a vein popping out of his head haha, then he will start yelling. Edward, being able to know Charlie’s concerns and all, will be able to answer all of his concerns before Charlie even opens his mouth to state them and then he’ll run out of things to shout except how she just shouldn’t do that! But I’m sure that after a bit he will give his blessing.
The thing is…how are they going to tell Renee? Renee will attomatically flip out because she is the one who left Forks so many years ago with Bella in tow to escape the small town and her ill fated marriage. I think that the news will have to come over the phone because they already visited Renee in Eclipse.
And I think it would be incredibly predictable (if we don’t see him anywhere else in the book before the wedding) for Jacob to be the one to interrupt. If it gets really close to the wedding than it is pretty sure that this is going to happen haha

Okay so i have a feeling that i am the ONLY guy that has even read the series but oh well it had great characterization. First off I dont even think i need to answer the fact that Edward and Bella will talk to Charlie together, BUT I think that Charlie will suprise us all by accepting Bella and Edward getting married without putting up any bit of a fight. He said himself that Edward is really good at looking out for her safety.
About something to crash the wedding or cause drama with it i dont think that is going to happen. Stephenie Meyer would want the begining of the book to be light hearted and happy. If the Wolves or the Volturi attacked it wouldnt flow with the story line anyways… We have had those problems somewhat resolved.
I think what we all forgot about was what is going on up in Alaska thanks to Laurent.. The real question is will That family come and attack the werewolf pack before during or after the wedding and how will the Cullens react to this and will Jacob be anywhere near La Push to make this a problem?
I just wanted to mention quick that i think the wedding will probubally be a small part of the books storyline and that it wont truly lead to any plot twists or drama or anything like that. I am a tragedian myself and i enjoy the thought of this series being a tragedy and if it is then there has to be a point where you think it is all going to work out aka the wedding..
just wanted to fill that in with what i said earlier.. I was typing faster than i was thinking and forgot that part.
i think we may well pick up the action AFTER they’ve already told Charlie and Renee only because in Jacob’s chapter at the end of Eclipse he’d already received the wedding invite and i think it would be a little strange to then go back in time to Bella and Edward telling her parents…..
but i believe we will definitely hear about their reactions!!! =D
as for the second question,
i think given Bella’s luck, the wedding will most likely be interrupted, possibly by the Volturi, but i would love it if all went smoothly! =D
I think that Bella and Edward will go together to talk to Charlie about the wedding. The last chapter featuring Edward and Bella (before Jacob’s epilogue) in Eclipse alludes to that… Bella says it’s time to tell Charlie. I think they might have headed straight to Charlie that afternoon and broke the news together. As for Renee, I think Bella (or maybe an irate Charlie?) will call her and tell her that way. I can’t imagine them flying back to FL to break the news… it would sort of interrupt the flow of the story.
As for whether someone will interrupt the wedding… I don’t think the Volturi will, and I hope Jacob has realized by now that it’s not worth causing Bella any more grief. But, perhaps Tanya will show up. Do we really know the extent of her relationship with Edward, when he was in Denali? Edward was pretty evasive about that when Bella asked. Though he claimed that he didn’t have feelings for HER, perhaps she is in love with him. It felt like Edward was keeping something from Bella. What if Tanya showed up…hmm.
Another thought….can’t you see Edward being an old fashioned gentleman and “asking” Charlie for permission to marry Bella before they make it official to the public? I know that Edward has already asked Bella to marry him, but I can see Edward trying to be respectful towards Charlie and/or Renee, since that’s just how he rolls. 🙂 That would take a brave person, but he IS brave.
I think Edward will go with Bella to support her. Plus, he can read Charlie’s mind and be able to control the situation before it gets out of hand. It would be nice if Jasper could hide somewhere and manipulate Charlie’s emotions after hearing that his only daughter is going to be married at 18.
I do believe someone or something is going to interrupt the wedding. Even though Stephenie likes happy endings, she is going to complicate things a little. I have a feeling that Jacob is going to see Bella before the wedding somehow. I think he is going to try and convince her not to marry Edward and ask her to run away with him even though she will say no. Of course he couldn’t get past Alice or Edward so his plan would be foiled but I’m sure he’s persistent enough to find a way.
I also think that the Volturi might interfere somehow and try to maybe change Bella by kidnapping her and taking her back to Volterra. Then maybe Jake will try to stop them and get killed in the process. So at least he dies nobly…
I agree with the idea that Edward will ask Charlie for his permission. It’s so something Edward would do. So maybe Edward would be the one to tell Charlie even though it would mean more coming from Bella.
I just wanted to say that this is the first podcast I’ve ever listened to, and I have to say it is fabulos! I agree with Kassie most of the time. Now here’s my answers to the questions. I think that both Edward and Bella will tell Charlie, but I don’t think that Bella or Edward will tell Renee. I think Charlie will tell her about the wedding. I don’t think that Charlie will be suprised about her marrying Edward, but I don’t think he will be happy at all because he is still sort of upset with Edward for hurting Bella. Now here’s my answer to the second question. I think that either Jacob or the Volturi will interupt their wedding. When you guys talked about “A Midsummer Nights Dream”, it made me upset because I absolutely hate Jella with a passion, but I can also see that happenning even thought I don’t want that to happen. I’m sure that a lot of things will happen that I don’t want to happen. As long as Bella is with Edward and Alice survives, I will be okay. 🙂
Well, at the end of Eclipse Bella told Edward to get out the ring so they could tell Charlie, so I’m pretty sure that’s gonna happen and along with that a phone call will be made to Renee to tell her the good news, but for Charlie’s reaction I’m know most of us can see him throwing a huge fit over over it and blowing everything out of proportion. But I think he would be more sad at the fact and not really put his whole opinion out because I would think he would revert back to how he and Renee got married so young and split up. He might not want to bring up his personal experience to his memory and so he might just stay quite on the subject, but Bella (and ofcourse Edward) could probably sense the reason why Charlie wouldn’t speak up. And i could see Renee being the one blowing the whole thing out of proportion but somehow she would be happy about the wedding at the same time(because I think she’s the type of person who would see everything in a good way no matter what).
And I know it kind of seems obvious that someone might crash the wedding, but I honestly don’t see it happening. Jacob was invited by Edward to come after all, and the Volturi wouldn’t make a big scene at the wedding when humans are present. I do, however see the Volturi, possibly, showing up once the wedding is finally over, or at least after Bella and Edward finally “unite” in bed, (because Stephanie is awsome with plot line and is a very kind person) or they may even show up after Bella is a vampire and try to start a fight somehow.

Q1: Omg haha this is funny. Okay, yes I think Bella and Edward will tell Bella’s parents about the wedding and of course I believe Charlie will flip way out of proportions. He will probably rant on and on about how that is a mistake and blah blah blah. Bella and Edward will probably try to convince him that this is what they want and how it will make them happy, but he probably won’t listen. He will cool off for a couple of days and then come around. Renee on the other hand will not be surprised since she see’s things more than Charlie does. She was probably expecting this since they came down to visit her. But all will work out fine!
Q2: Of course someone is gonna crash the wedding! But probably won’t make a big seen. I am expecting the Volturi to show up but they won’t be all crazy since humans are around. After the wedding though, all hell will break loose. I am expecting them to say “OOOh you have had enough time” and yadaya. They will all get into a huge fight and it will come down to Bella dying and Edward saving her. It will have a happy ending though!
Bella will probably try to hold off telling ehr parents as long as possible. She was reluctant in the first place. The reason for that probably being her parents, having married young and it not working out at all. Plus she knows that Charlie is still mad and Edward for leaving and putting ehr though an experience similar to torture. Edward has always wanted to do the right and proper thing, which will proabbly be the case here.
One of my friends thinks that Bella will mess everyhting up again becuase she over thinks everyhting and will want Jacob to be at the wedding because he is her sunshine and best friend. But she also thinks that Jacob will imprint while he is away and his affections towards Bella will be dilluted. The most likely to interrupt would be the Volturi, but why would they when they want Bella to turn and know that they are getting married first. they would most likey show up after to check in, especially since they know something that Alice saw in the future concerning Bella, more likely the poiwer she will obtain once becoming a vampire.
Right now there are too many possibilities and variable to make an accurate prediction and no one knows which path will be taken or which twist Stephenie Meyer will throw at us.
Bella will most likely tell her parents about her and Edward’s wedding. He still has to ask her parents if they will let him marry her.
My ideas for weddinng crashers are:
1.the Volturi
2.jacob
3.jacob gets invited but to get bella in trouble he gives his invitation to a family member with a drinking problem so bella’s parents will not think she is responsible enough to be married.
I think that getting married is a choice that is made by wife and husbon. Not just wife, therefore i do think they will go talk together about them getting married.
At this point i don’t think anyone will crash the wedding, just because this is supossed to be a really important time for both of them and edward has been waiting for this for one-hundred and ninety years so i don’t think Stephenie will want any interuptions.
Although if the Volturi does come alice will see that and change the date to the wedding. And i don’t think jacob can crash cause technically he got invited.
I also think that charlie saw this coming. Or think that reason they are getting married is because he thinks bella is preganant.
Somehow I just can’t see this conversation between Bella Edward and her parents playing out in the novel. I don’t think it’s going to be included in the book. I have a feeling the 4th book is just going to jump right in with this conversation having already passed in the alternate twilight universe. so there might be mention of charlie being angry and renee being a bit upset. but i don’t think there will be a huge blow out scene.
I also have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that the wedding isn’t going to happen… like at all. (but i sooooo want it to) so no wedding crashers. it would just make the ending too perfect, too anti-climatic (i don’t want a harry potter let down again). i’m kind of thinking a tuck everlasting scenerio might play out. but who knows….
I think that Edward will push Bella into telling Charlie they are getting married, i think Bella would not want Edward to be there incase Charlie freaks out and tries to kill Edward although we all know thats impossible;), but being the kind gentleman Edward is he will want to tell Charlie with Bella there, BUT i also just cant see the conversation being in the 4th Book, maybe they will mention how upset Charlie and Renee were but thats it…….And about someone Crashing the Wedding well Jacob was invited to the wedding so i wouldnt call it “Crashing” but i definitely think he will show up and possible be unnoticed by Bella till the End and i dont know about the Volturi “Crashing” the Wedding the more i think that they (Volturi) will not show up
Q1: Yes i do believe that they will go together. I really do not believe Edward would leave Bella alone in that kinda situation. Plus it will be way to interesting for Edward to pass up because he can hear everything they are thinking. LOL anyways I think Charlie will be a little sad about it because he’ll be losing his girl but I don’t think he’ll react to badly because at the end of eclispe he tells Bella to warn him before she runs off and that he thinks Edward is a good guy and that he cares about Bella’s safety and Charlie likes that about him. (What dad wouldn’t!)
Renee on the other hand ~ I think maybe she will freak out just a little bit worried that Bella is going to make the same mistakes she did. But she has seen the way that Bella and Edward are together and she knows that Edward loves Bella…..so I’m really torn on how she is going to react. Who knows she may just smile and say great and then later ask Bella when she’s alone or over email if she is sure she is making the right decision. I haven’t really seen enough of Renee to decide how she would act.
Q2: About the wedding I really do not think anyone will be crashing the wedding (not to mention I would love that to be at least one thing that did not go completely haywire!) The only two ppl I would think would crash the wedding is the volturi and jacob. The Volturi’s mission is to keep humans from knowing vampires exist so I do not believe they would show up at the small town of forks and start tearing apart a wedding where a bunch of humans are. Now they could show up before wedding but definitely not during. When it comes to Jacob I would really hope that he would be more of a friend to her than that. If I remember correctly everything “dramatic” thing Jacob has tried has always been in private between the two of them (except for Edward listening in on occasion) . I believe he will try before the wedding if he tries at all and I for one believe that he will not try anything until Bella’s about to become a vampire. But I wrote that last week so I won’t go into it again. But yeah I am just really hoping that Edward and Bella have a really good wedding and all the drama will come after that or before. Oh and one more thing i’m going to add. I think the title for Breaking Dawn means Bella. I believe that when she changed she will be “Breaking Dawn” meaning she is starting a new life. Des that make sense? Ok i’m done BTW i love the name Bedward!
I think Bella and Edward will try really hard to include Bella’s parents in the wedding. There will of coarse be some things that they are kept in te dark about but once Renee and Charley know about the wedding, it will be hard to keep them out.
Wedding “Guests”: I really think that the Volturi will come to the wedding. They won’t crash it because, I don’t know about you, but that kinda seems like exposing the vampires to me. Insteed, I think that they will quietly sit down on the groom side and say that they are old friends of Carisle’s and that he invited them. This might cause a reception getaway for the newlyweds…

Okay, to answer the first question, yes, I think they will both tell Bella’s parents at the same time. It just seems like the gentlemany way to do things, kinda like the way it was when Edward was human. I think they are trying to incopreate his needs and Bella’s for the weddding. I think Reene will flip out at first, but get used to the idea. Charlie won’t exactly be surprised, but he also won’t be all “okey-dokey” about it either. Maybe they’ll also bring Jasper along to control the emotions. LOL!
To answer the second question, I honestly don’t think anyone will crash the wedding. What would be their purpose? The Volturi don’t care about them as long as Bella is turned into a vampire and the Cullens don’t expose their secrets. I also don’t think Jake would crash the wedding. Either he would go as a guest or not go at all. He wouldn’t ruin Bella’a wedding-he cares too much about her, even if it sometimes doesn’t seem like that.

1. I think Edward and Bella will tell Charlie together. I think he will be upset, but resigned – he is already expecting her to leave with Edward. I think Bella will tell Renee on the phone, and Renee will freak out.
2. I don’t think Jacob will interrupt the wedding. I really feel like Jacob has got it through his thick head that Bella has chosen Edward. I do think it is possible that something will cause conflict with the wedding – upcoming danger from the volturi? *but* I am wondering if Bella and Edward will have an alternate spur of the moment very intimate wedding (maybe Emmitt got his minister license online – that would be so funny) instead of (or before) the ceremony that Alice has planned.
I think that we will find out Charlie and Renee’s reaction.
There could be some funny moments, like what Charlie might like to do Edward…
I am hoping the wedding will have no interuption. I think the conflict will happen.

For the first question, I think that Edward, since he is such a old-fashioned gentleman, will go to Charlie to ask for Bella’s hand in marriage. Charlie will probably be pretty angry and he will probably try to talk Bella out of doing it. But I think that he will come around to it. I also think that Renee will NOT like the idea of getting married so young but will definately be happy for Bella and Edward.
So for the second question, I think that Jacob won’t crash the wedding just because I’m hoping that he will mature (fingers crossed). But I think that the Volturi will crash it and there will be a full on war between the Volturi vampires vs. the Cullens and werewolves. I really hope that the werewolves and the Cullens do come together in the end and they accept that Bella will become a vampire. Then they won’t be enemies anymore. That would be my favorite ending, just so everyone gets a good, happy ending.

I think that both Edward and Bella will go talk to her parents. Edward seems very tradition so, I can see him talking to Charlie. Bella’s mom will be happy considering she hasn’t really see what is happening in Forks. So, she just wants Bella happy. Charlie will be more unwilling to accept the marriage however, he also wants Bella to be happy.
For the second question, I don’t think there will be a wedding to interrupt! I think the volturi will come to Forks before the wedding takes place. If they do try to attack or take Bella then Edward and Jacob will be forced to work together to save or protect her. I hope and think the wedding will happen towards the end. But, Bella will be a vampire because somehow Edward was forced to change her. I think this will happen in a life threatening circumstance but, Jacob will agree because her doesn’t wan t Bella died. So, the weddin will happen and not interrupted but, be very delayed.

Edward is extremely old fashioned. I think he will insist on asking for Bella’s hand himself. I think Bella will want to do it alone but Edward will most likely win the argument and they both will confront Charlie with the big news.
Honestly I think everyone is expecting someone to crash the wedding and there for Stephenie might do the opposite and just let them get married in peace. After the wedding is when I think the mayhem will start with the volturi, werewolves, and the return of Jacob.
Question #1:
I do believe that Edward will accompany Bella when she breaks the news to Charlie. I don’t think Edward will make her face him on her own and I agree with others in that he will want Charlie’s permission to marry Bella.
As for Charlie’s reaction, though he is obviously not going to be happy about the engagement, I believe he has come to realize that Bella and Edward are a “package deal” (as she refers to them). Charlie will not want to lose Bella and eventually he will accept her decision. I think many people may be surprised by Charlie’s reaction, I do not think he is as clueless as some people believe him to be. Though he is no fan of Edward’s he does realize that the relationship between Bella and Edward is heading towards marriage (as evidenced by the fact that he asks Bella to tell him if she decides to leaves or makes any big decisions).
As for Renee, I think she will have a harder time accepting the news. This is partly due to her strong feelings about marriage, but also due to the fact that Bella has repeatedly down played her relationship with Edward. Though Renee has probably suspected the relationship is more serious than Bella is admitting, I do not think that she realizes that marriage is on the horizon. I would guess that Bella getting married at this age is something that has not even entered Renee’s mind – she is much more accustomed to the responsible, sensible, mature Bella who has always looked after her. In Renee’s eyes, marriage at this age is neither responsible, mature nor sensible.
Question #2:
As for the actual ceremony, I think it is entirely within the realm of possibility that it will be interrupted by “wedding crasher,” but I am not convinced that this will actually happen. First, if the Volturi were to show up at the ceremony, I do not know how their presence would be explained to Charlie, Renee, and Phil. Though I guess it is possible for the Volturi to be distant relations or friends of the Cullens, I like to think that their red eyes and unusual appearance (at least in regards to Aro, Caius, and Marcus) would be enough to arouse suspicion in anyone. Since it is one of the Volturi’s “unbreakable rules” that humans cannot be made aware of their existence, (hence the ultimatum that Bella either be changed or killed), where exactly would this leave Renee, Phil and Charlie?
As for Jacob crashing the wedding, I think I should preface my next response with stating that I am wholeheartedly a Bedward fan and do not want Bella with anyone else, but I do feel for Jacob.
I do not believe that Jacob will interrupt the ceremony. Though many people believe him to be immature (and at times he can be), I would like to give him more credit than that. Many of his actions that “annoyed” Bella or appeared to be immature to others were his only means of getting Bella to realize that she loved him as well. I can only imagine how hard it would be to love someone that strongly and watch her choose someone whom you believe is not only wrong for her, but someone who will eventually end her human life. Jacob’s actions were done out of love for Bella, he did everything in his power to “save” her from the non-human (and quite possibly damned) existence that she would have with Edward. If she realized that she loved him, then there was a slim chance that she would choose him and remain human as a result.
I know that some people believe that Jacob is simply infatuated, but I think he honestly loves Bella. Some may argue that Jacob is too young to know true love, but I would like to remind those people that Bella was not much older than he is now when she fell for Edward. Even if we could know for certain that his love for Bella is not as strong as Edward’s love, for him it is stronger than anything he has ever known. I think that it is Jacob’s love for Bella that will keep him from interrupting the wedding. Even though she has recognized how deep her feelings are for Jacob, he knows that she has made her choice. In the end of Eclipse, Jacob tells Bella that he loves her enough to give her up (His reference to King Solomon) so that she will not continue to feel torn between two people she cares for. In addition, Jacob has consistently shown he intends to keep the promise that he made to Bella to always be there for her. In this instance, the only way to support her will be to give her up.
By the way – I love the idea that Jacob asks Edward to change Bella because she is somehow mortally wounded and it would be the only way to save her. Great theory!
Since Jacob and his father received their wedding invite at the end of Eclipse, I’m assuming that Bella’s parents already know about she and Edward’s summer plans. I absolutely think Edward and Bella spoke to Charlie (and maybe even Renee) together. Edward is very supportive of Bella and he knew how much she was dreading making the announcement so I’m sure he joined her when it was time to make that revelation.
Unfortunately I do think that, at least the first time around, Bella and Edward will not seal the deal (wedding or “Bedward” wise). Whether it be Jacob, the Volturi or Jacob and the Volturi that wedding is definitely going to be crashed. Edward’s belief that the Volturi will forget about Bella for some time doesn’t seem rational to me. Aro seemed genuinely delighted that Bella was not affected by Jane’s, nor his, gifts and if she will make a powerful asset to them, he will be trying to make that happen as soon as possible…
However I do think, in the end, Edward and Bella will get married! It might be in a chapel in Vegas or in the Cullen living room with Emmett officiating but it’s definitely going to happen!
I think Edward will be there to support Bella. He’ll accompany her to talk to Charlie, and then Charlie will proceed to have a heart attack when he finds out. I think Charlie is going to be very mad, at least at the start, because Edward hurt his little girl and I don’t think he can ever fully forgive Edward for abandoning Bella. But then Edward will work his magic and ask for Charlie’s blessing and because Charlie wants Bella to be happy, he will accept, thought reluctantly.
As for Renee, she’ll probably find out by phone and through Bella, but I don’t think she’ll be quite as forgiving. I expect her to get upset and perhaps hang-up on Bella as she processes what she’s just been told. It’s harder for her to accept, because she doesn’t want Bella to end up as she did; married to young, with a daughter and divorced. So Renee feels like she should protect Bella from that and doesn’t want her to get married, she considers it a “mistake”.
As for “wedding crashers”, i’m defenetly expecting that. On one hand it could be the Volturi, back to give Edward and ultimatum as to when he’ll turn Bella and they’ll probably opress him to it that night. On the other hand it could be Jacob, he has enough guts in him to “crash” and he might believe this is his last opportunity to win over Bella. Though techincally he wouldn’t be crashing since he’s been invited, but I don’t think he’ll interrupt in a calm manner. I can see him jumping up at the “I object” part of the ceremony.
Or maybe both of them will interrupt, wouldn’t that be a party?!
I believe that both of them will go together to talk to Charlie but when Charlie figures out he will probably want to talk to Bella on her own and at first he will be very upset and saying he won’t allow for her to get hurt again. Then maybe Bella will reason with her dad. And he will kind of give in to her.
The wedding, If they actually have the wedding..
I think that it will be crashed either by Jacob and his friends or the volturri, or hey It can be both, Now that will be an interesting scene in the book.
I’m going to be a bit mad if it’s Jacob, Even though I love his character–I also believe that Bella would be happier with Edward on her side.
Now I won’t be suprised if Bella starts changing her mind about if she wants to be with Edward or Jacob, seeing that in “eclipse” she’s already confused about it.
I think that Stephenie Meyer is going to make us “Edward fans” suffer a bit through the whole Edward and Jacob thing.

I think Bella will go alone to talketo Carlie, because itis highlylikely thatCharlie would lose controlof his anger andthrow something at Edward, and when that object ricochets off Edward and right back at Charlie, Charlie’s bound to be suspicious. As to whom will interrupt the wedding, I think Jacob will behave for the sake of making Bella happy, even if it tortures him to do it. I also don’t think the Volturi themselves will interrupt,because,as mentioned in Eclipse, it might take them a decade to remember the Cullens again, and I don’t think anyone else will interrupt the wedding. After all, there will be a lot of vampires there, and they will all be most likely be within a few feet of Bella at the altar. Edward and Bella’s honeymoon night, however, is much more susceptible, because only one vampire will be there and no one will try to check on them at least until the morning (provided Bella doesn’t start screaming or something). So, what I wonder is this–could the Volturi have palced a bounty on Bella’s being turned into a vampire and being recruited into their network?
I think that they both will tell Charlie that they are getting married. Since Edward is pretty conservative and old fashioned I think he would ask Charlie for Bella’s hand in marriage but with her there and i think it would be hilarious if Charlie tries to chase Edward out of the house with like a shot gun, i can really picture him doing that, but i think Bella would talk some sense into Charlie before he actually tries to shoot Edward lol! And as for Renee, i think they would tell her over the phone (since she is in Florida) or they might go down there to talk with her, and i think that in the beginning she will be opposed to it, but i really think she likes Edward and eventually will be ok with it, because she has seen how much he loves her daughter.
I’m not sure if someone will interrupt the actual wedding but i have a feeling something might happen at say the rehearsal dinner or after the wedding at the reception. If anyone interrupts i think it would be the Volturi but i dont think Jacob would ruin the wedding because he wouldn’t want to hurt Bella.

And now! To answer this week’s question!
I do believe that Edward and Bella will both go to talk to Charlie, and then they will call Renee. Or she’ll be at Charlie’s house as a surprise or something to that effect. I have no doubt that they will tell Charlie and Renee together though. That is the responsible thing to do, and Edward would want to go that route anyways. I think that Charlie will turn a dark shade of purple, and that Renee will totally freak.
I also think that the wedding will be somehow be interrupted, either by Jacob, the Volturi, or possibly some new vampire who we do not know of yet. I think that it is possible that the wedding may be postponed if all chaos ensues at the wedding, maybe even until the next book, if there is one.
If Jacob interrupted, which I don’t really think he will, I think Bella would get pretty mad.
If the Volturi interrupted, I think they would kill a few humans, either by accident or on purpose, and possibly even change a few (I really want Angela to be changed somehow). I hope that if they arrive, no vampires would be killed, but if one was, I think it would be Edward, Alice, Emmett, or Rosalie, and they would somehow change Bella in the spur of the moment.
And most exciting of all, if a new vampire came, I think they would end up killing someone, possibly Bella, or crashing the wedding.
I’m not really firm in any of my theories… I haven’t read the books in quite a bit, and if you don’t understand any of them, I’m really sorry! Feel free to ask me, if need be.

So..My theories..lets see..hmmm.
Honestly, its hard to come up with a guess as to anything that might happen in Breaking Dawn.
But if I were to make a guess as to what I think would happen. I don’t think things with Charlie will go over very well. Charlie has no family besides Bella. I think the fact that he’s losing her will really affect him. Nevermind the fact that he will be losing more that is actually being seen infront of him. It will be very hard for Charlie. I do, however, feel he has some acceptence towards Edward. This may really show him who Edward is and what Edward means to Bella and vice versa.
As for Renee. She saw how Edward and Bella were together. Renee may see the difference in the relationship between Bella and Edward vs Renee and Charlie. Edward’s feelings for Bella and his responsible attitude may show Renee otherwise of what Bella feels will be her reaction.
I don’t know how much longer, though, that Bella will be able to lie to her once-so-close mother.
We shall see.
As for the “wedding crashers” I couldn’t even begin to think of it.
All I know is I don’t think Jacob will be the one to do it if it happens. Victoria, Laurent, and James are all gone. All we have is the Volturi, but I’m too confused as to what they might actually be able to do to the wedding.
I would be crushed if Edward and Bella weren’t to end up together. Its like their love is truely real. Every time I’ve read them, the pressure of their love has crushed me. I could only wish to find the same thing some day. To lose that for anything wouldn’t ever be worth it. Edward and Bella deserve eachother. He deserves her. He’s tried so hard to be better. He can’t help the hand he was dealt. Can’t he stop being put through pain. Edward needs to realize he deserves her. She needs to realize how much he needs her. She’s more to him then anything has ever been. Its not so impossible to actually believe they’re both amazing, and are for eachother.

Yes they will because that is what Eclipse had concluded with. I think that Charlie will be stunned (i dont think that he will go crazy with the shot gun and all) but he will be fascinated with the strength of their relationship, and how serious it has gotten. He may have a one on one talk with Bella, to make sure she knows what she is doing. Renee will take some convincing, but she will crack in the weight of a “motherly syndrome” where the emotions of her little girl growing up, will trump her objections to a young marriage.
I think that some one unexpected will interrupt the marriage. Some one besides the suspected Jacob or Volturi. But i cant think of a plausible theory of who would be the interruption.
i think that bella will want to tell charlie about the wedding by herself because she doesnt want him to be mad at edward…again! but i think that edward will come anyways just because he knows its right if they both tell him.
as for the 2nd question:
well off course someone is going to interupt the wedding!! i acually think both jacob AND the Vulturi will interupt it right when bella is about to say ‘i do’ and everything will be a FIASCO!!!!! she will be heart broken that she didnt get the wedding she has always dreamed about and will be torn between jacob & edward once again (i personally think she should end up with edward & have cute little vampire babies…even though that probably wont happen…)
