Do you think Edward and Bella will go together to talk to Bella’s parents about the wedding? (We think it would be fun if you also told us what reactions might follow!)
Do you think someone will interrupt the wedding? If so, by who?

Oh I only have one guess who might crash the wedding and jump at the chance to yell, “I object!” when the moment calls for it – – – Jacob.
I can only imagine myself screaming at the pages of “Breaking Dawn” if that happens because I would want to kill him. I mean, he tried imprinting on Bella, it didn’t work, he’s not for her. Yeah they love each other but it’s not “true love” or whatever.
And as for talking to Bella’s parents, obviously at the end of “Eclipse” with the wedding invitation being sent out there was the conversation about it, i really was that it was in the book bc i would have loved loved loved loved to see Charlies and especially Renee’s answers to it. hopefully that will be explored some in “Breaking Dawn”

Here are my ideas on the Bedward questions:
Q1: I think Edward will certainly go with Bella to tell Charlie. They were on their way there when we left them in Eclipse. Renee will get a phone call later – which Charlie will probably enjoy listening to!
I think Bella has finally clicked several big issues into place in her mind, and she is finally committed to the idea of marriage but mainly to benefit other people. However, Edward has hinted a number of times that she doesn’t yet have an understanding of marriage and why that will make a change to their relationship. I think Bella finally understanding the importance of marriage and wanting it for herself (instead of just for him) will be one of the big themes of BD.
What will be Charlie and Renee’s reactions? Well, I don’t think it will be a surprise for either of them so I don’t think either will freak out… which will probably freak out Bella! Charlie is beginning to have a greater appreciation for Edward. I would love to see a “fire & ice” type conversation between Edward and Charlie – where Edward really explains himself. I can see this happening as Edward would be prepared to ask Charlie for his blessing. Edward could explain that he left Bella because he thought he wasn’t good enough for her – that’s the sort of thing Charlie would swallow! It occured to me that Edward can use the fact that he can’t father children (side effect of the illness which killed his parents) as one example. This could also nip those inevitable “knocked up” rumors in the bud.
I think by the end of BD, Charlie at least will have an understanding of the Bedward realationship which will allow Bella to snip those last threads holding her to that life.
Q2: No, I don’t see the wedding being interrupted by the Volturi. This seems counterproductive for them. I don’t think the path to the wedding will be smooth, but I think the day itself will be OK. A bit like graduation.
I can imagine Tanya and Co. showing up before. That might be a catalyst for Bella to examine some of her self esteem issues. Both Edward and Bella seem to think they are unworthy of the other, but Bella often says she cannot stand next to him as a partner as she is not beautiful, strong, special enough. I would like to see these attitudes overcome BEFORE Bella is changed.
Volturi…. hmmmm… I can imagine them coming in as the threat ala James, Victoria at the end. Maybe as a way to resolve things with the werewolves. I really, really think that the Jella relationship has run it’s course and served it’s purpose. But maybe a fight against the Volturi (maybe the Cullens need to come to the help of the werewolves this time?) will make them “allies” instead of just “enemy allies”. Of course. I’d love Jacob to imprint because it ties things up nicely and who likes to see the boy suffer?

FIRST OF ALL OF COURSE BELLA AND EDWARD WILL GO TOGETHER TO TALK TO CHARLIE ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT. I MEAN CHARLIE WILL PROBABLY HAVE A HEART ATTACK AND SCREAM AND THEN MOST LIKELY PASS OUT. BUT U WILL NEED EDWARDS CONVINCING MANNER.
THE SECOND QUESTION I THINK THAT THERE WILL BE 3 DIFFERENT WEDDING CRASHERS THE VOLTURI FOR ONE THEN JACOB AND THEN THIS MAY SUPRISE YOU LAURENT KNOW WAIT IF YOU RECALL THE ONLY WAY THO PERMENATLY DESTROY A VAAMPIRE IS TO RIP HIM APART AAND THEN BURN THE PIECES. BUT IF YOU RECALL IN THE SECOND BOOK THE WOLVES ONLY TORE HIM APART THEY DID NOT BURN THE REMAINS AND UNLESS THE WOLVES HAVE SOME SPEACIAL POWER LAURENT WANTS REVENGE AND I DONT KNOW HOW HE WILL FIND OUT BUT HE IS GOING TI BE A VERY UNWELCOME WEDDING CRASHER

i think that edward and bella will talk to bellas parents together about the wedding. i think that charlie and renee wont really like the fact that they are getting married at such a young age, and seeing how charlie and renee turned out they might be worried that they might have the same problems that they did. i believe that they will try to talk them out of it to at least wait till after collage, but with no sucsess of talking them out of it the’ll accept it. they will be upset but also be happy because it makes bella happy.
for the second question i dont think that anyone will crash the wedding, i think that bella might get cold feet about haveing such a big wedding but go through with it in the end. if someone was to crash the wedding i think that i might be jacob. because jacob knows that shortly after the wedding that bella will be changed and end her life.i think that he might try to get bella away from edward and the rest of the family to try to protect her even though he knows that he cant keep her away from them.

to the first question you asked about wether edward and bella are going to tell her parents together, i would have to assumed they would only because it would pose A TON of conflict between charlie and edward about the wedding and if charlie will even aprove… at the end of eclipse, the last chapter, in the medow it leaves the readers on a cliffy with bella saying lets go tell charlie… i personaly think charlie will FLIP so much and at first be aposed to bella and edward getting married so early and right out of highschool well he might not like it but who is going to stop a vampire like alice on a mission to have the best wedding ever or like edward who wants bella to himself… eventually charlie might get over it but who knows what is in stephenie meyers head…
to the second question about if some one will interupt the wedding… i would have to say FOR SURE… otherwise it would be almost be pointless… *think about it* and at the end of eclipse it leaves us in jacob’s mind saying i am and official warewolf for good and never turning back… (thats how i saw it though… hopefully it is true cause i hate jacob edward is better but now that i am done with my rant…) maybe he might go to the wedding as a warewolf therefore alice will never know… but also think about the volturi… they could come to the wedding looking for the vampire bella and when or if she is not turned they have like an epic battle between the culllens and volturi ending in bella not being able to say goodbye to anybody and she would have to be turned ASAP…
or not at all cause she might go with jacob….

i really don’t think Renee or Charlie are going to be cool with the idea of Bella getting married at 18… in Charlies case especially since she’s getting married to Edward (though he would probably handle the news better if jacob was her fiance)
i can see Charlie trying to forbid her from getting married, whilst Renee might become supportive after a while… once she has become accustomed to the idea and realises that there is no way to talk Bella out of it.
as for interruptions, i don’t think Jacob will show up at the wedding at all. he ran away when he recieved the invitation after all. if he does i don’t think he’ll cause a fuss, perhaps he’ll just sit up the back looking solemn and mourning what could have been?
if anyone were to interrupt i think it would be Billy, simply because he knows what getting married will mean and he knows the treaty will be broken if Bella is bitten.
I also have another answer. This might be a bit morbid but, what if Jasper had another relapse at the wedding like he did at Bella’s 18th Birthday party. It might be interesting for Breaking Dawn. And I also wonder because of Edwards abilities if he will try to stop him and they both expose each other. Would Charlie and Renee try to take Bella away? I mean obviously Edward would find her because he is so attuned to her heart beat and he knows her scent so well but, would Bella elope? She cares for Charlie and Renee so much I think it would break their hearts if she left like that. She also wouldn’t be able to come back because of her being turned into a vampire. I wouldn’t wants to leave my parents on those terms. So, if that does happen I think that Bella makes pretty good choices. Her bad choices though will most likley haunt her for the rest of her life(Eternity, Im hoping this one) but will she make the good choice here. Elope, or try to convince her parents that Edward is good, even if they know what he and his family are. Just a thought.

no, i don’t think that edward would come, because charlie would probably take poor edward out. even though i do think that the vulturi will take out the wedding, cuz they just like crashing people’s fun, also cuz when the vulturi came to check out the feeding problem, they didn’t lik it that bella wuz still human
I think that Edward will definitely go to talk to Charlie about the wedding. I can totally picture him being such a gentleman and asking Charlie for his daughter’s hand in marriage. He’s just old-fashioned that way, you know? I think Charlie would be upset for a little while, but will eventually come to his senses and see that Bella needs Edward. Renee, on the other hand…I would not want to be Bella, that’s for sure.
As for the second question, I really hope nobody interrupts the wedding. I can’t really see the Volturi doing it, because they would probably want to be subtle, and not be wedding crashers like that. The only other person I could see doing it is Jake, or some other members of the pack. If anyone does interrupt the wedding however, I don’t think it will be all dramatic right before the “I do’s”. It would probably be beforehand, and it would most likely result with Bella getting cold feet. Maybe someone from the pack would tell her that Jake got hurt or something, and then she would feel obligated to leave the wedding and go see Jake?
No, i dont think Edward would be with Bella when she tells Charlie, because Charlie already does not like him, But i have no doubt that he will be nearby listening in. Although Edward might be there if Bella decides to tell Renee in person, because Renee doesnt hate Edward, and she would probably think something of him if he wasnt there with Bella. Charlie will be mad, and he probably wont talk to Bella much at first, and maybe try to ban Edward from the house again. Renee will be angry that Bella didnt wait, and might try to convince her to cancel the wedding and wait a year or two before she gets married.
I think that Quil and Embry will interrupt the wedding, because Jacob wants Bella to be happy, and knows she’ll be furious with him if he shows up and crashes her wedding. Jacob also doesnt want to see Edward and Bella together, and seeing them getting married would be too painful for him
I think that Jacob might come barging in when the priest *cough Emmett :D* would be saying if any objects to this marrige and he and Quil, Embry and maybe even Billy would be running through the aisle, and THEN the cullens would be snarling in their vampire snarls and then (too many thens huh?) they would be having a ‘strongly worded discussion’, while Edward is holding onto Bella, and maybe Bella would start to sob and run and fall *snicker* (just kidding), she would run out of the chapel and just keep running vail and all….
I don’t know. I think it would be very sad though

Ooh, hard questions for this week! Well, for the first one, I think Edward and Bella will tell Charlie. I’m not too sure if they’ll both tell Renee because it will be hard to have contact with her due to the distance. The picture I get in my mind when I think of Edward and Bella telling Charlie is Charlie freaking out and smacking Edward. Of course, Edward just stands there (nothing can hurt him! =D). Bella will calm Charlie down and he will take a while to “cool down”. But in the end he will come to their wedding and support Bella, however much he disagrees with her choice.
Yes! The wedding will be interrupted- but not necessarily in a negative way. I think that instead of someone coming and crashing the wedding, there will be a good interruptance. Here’s my theory: I think Jacob will decide at first NOT to come to their wedding. But after a while (after the wedding has already started) he’ll realize he should go to support Bella because he loves her. He’ll throw open the church doors and sit down in the back. He WON’T object to the wedding (even though in his mind he does!). Bella means to much to him!
Question 1: They both go to Charlie, but Edward ends up doing the asking. He is relatively OK with it. Bella calls Renee with Edward present – Renee hangs up on her… but eventually comes around:
“Verbal Engagement”
The decision to finally accept Edward’s proposal had come easily enough, but as I looked at the ring on my finger I frowned. Now came the hard part: breaking the news to Charlie that we were getting married, and soon. All the way home I tried to find the words to say, but found nothing. How would I tell him?
I was fixing myself lunch when Charlie came in from the morning’s fishing. Edward sat at the kitchen table quietly.
“Hello Edward; Bells,” Charlie said conversationally as he went to hang up his dripping jacket. Well that’s a good start, I thought.
“You’re back early. Would you like a sandwich, Dad?”
“That would be great, Bells. The fish were not cooperating today.” Charlie planted himself at the table across from Edward. “What did you two do this morning?” I glanced over my shoulder to see him turn toward me as he spoke. Suddenly my nerves kicked in and I felt like I was vibrating.
“We hung out at Edward’s for a while and then took a walk.” And we decided to get married, I thought, but couldn’t voice the words.
“Did you get caught in the rain? It was really coming down there for a while.”
“No, Charlie, we made it back before the worst hit,” Edward said easily. He smiled at me when I glared at him over my shoulder. I took a deep breath.
“You okay, Bella? You look a little jumpy,” Charlie observed.
“No, I’m fine,” I said quickly. My hand was trembling as I reached across the counter for the mayonnaise to my left. Suddenly Charlie inhaled sharply, getting full view of the ring glittering brightly on my left hand. I quickly pulled the jar in front of me and froze. No words were needed now.
The silence was deafening as I tried to compose myself and finish Charlie’s sandwich. I looked over my other shoulder to see Edward staring intently at Charlie. With the plate in my right hand I turned around slowly. Charlie was looking straight down, staring at his hands folded on the table in front of him. His face was turning bright red before my eyes. Uh oh…
“Here you go, Dad.” The pitch of my voice was unnaturally high. Charlie didn’t move.
Edward now unfroze and looked at me. “Bella, would you excuse us for a moment, I’d like to have a word with your father alone.”
My mouth opened as I tried to read Edward’s face, but he just tilted his head toward the back door. When I didn’t move he smiled at me and winked. “It’s okay,” he mouthed.
I opened the door slowly and looked back at my father as I stepped out. Charlie was looking at Edward now, his face a mixture of anger and defeat.
“I love you, Dad,” I said weakly. Charlie barely nodded and I walked out into the yard.
My hands were still shaking as I stood in the middle of the yard. The rain had stopped for now, but the clouds still filled the sky, ready to open up again at a moment’s notice. I turned back to the house, listening. Nothing… that’s good, I guess; Charlie’s not yelling… or shooting… I wish I had a watch. How long was this going to take? What I wouldn’t give to have vampire hearing right now…
I thought about pacing by the door, but being that close made my trembling even worse. My truck was in the driveway, so I decided to go inspect it.
After circling it twice and deciding that I really needed to clean the windows, I heard the front door of the house close. Slowly I turned around and faced my father.
Charlie looked calm, his face was a normal color and his eyes were relaxed. He walked across the lawn and stopped in front of me. He didn’t say anything; he just looked down and picked up my left hand, bringing it up to his face.
“That’s quite a ring,” he said softly, peering at the array of diamonds set in golden lace on my third finger.
“Yes, it is.” I didn’t know what else to say.
Charlie looked in my eyes now. “Edward asked for my permission to marry you. Is that what you want?” His voice was still quiet, but even. There was sadness in his eyes, but there was more… I could tell that Charlie truly wanted me to be happy. It gave me hope.
“Yes, Dad, it is. Edward and I have been through a lot, and I know it’s been very hard on you, but I truly believe we are meant to be together. I love him, Dad.” I said the words quietly but firmly, not moving my gaze from his eyes.
Charlie sighed, and then put one hand on my cheek. “Bells, you’re so young… don’t you want to wait a while longer?” His voice carried the weight of experience; the memory of his own young mistake.
“We talked about that, a lot, actually, but we decided that there wasn’t a good reason to wait. Our plans for college haven’t changed, and in fact it will be less expensive if we live together. We have no plans for children, either.” Charlie flinched; I didn’t know if it was because he missed my childhood, because of the thought of grandchildren, or because he remembered the sex talk he’d tried to give me.
I lowered my voice slightly. “Our situation is very different from what happened to you and Mom. This is the way it is supposed to be, I can feel it.” Charlie’s face didn’t change as I spoke, and he concentrated intently on every word.
I finished, and after a moment Charlie released my hand and then gathered me in a hug. “That’s exactly what Edward said.” He squeezed me tighter. “Can you read each other’s minds?”
We both chuckled at his words, Charlie unaware of the irony in his joke. “No, we can’t. I guess we both just feel the same way.” I paused, and the laugh died away. “How do you feel, Dad?”
Charlie sighed. “I can see how much you two care for each other, and I’ve known for a while that you would probably end up together one way or another in the end. I’m just not ready for it to be now.” Charlie released me and looked in my eyes. A small smile crept across his lips. “It’ll take me a little while to get used to the idea of Edward as my son.” His tone was lighter now, and I knew that he’d given Edward his permission.
“Can you do just one thing for me Dad?”
“Blessing your marriage isn’t enough, eh?” My heart leapt at his words and a grin spread across my face.
“Would you please give me away, Dad?” I asked.
Tears started to form in Charlie’s eyes and he pulled me close again. “Of course I will, Bella. I love you.”
“I love you, too, Daddy.” As he held me, my tears started flowing and I could barely see Edward standing on the porch, smiling.
“Good luck telling your mother…” Charlie smirked.

After things went so well with Charlie, I thought that Renee would be a piece of cake. She’d seen how we were together; even though we’d tried to hide the affection we felt for each other, she’d picked up on it – especially when we’d visited her a few months ago. If Charlie had guessed that we were headed toward the altar, surely she had too.
Charlie left again to head over to the police station, and I picked up the phone and went to sit on the couch in the living room.
“Are you ready for this?” Edward asked as he rubbed my shoulders gently.
“I think so.” I took a breath and dialed. I’d always been able to tell Renee anything, well with one large exception. Edward smiled at me as I dialed.
“Hello…” Renee answered after only one ring; she must be on the other line.
“Hi Mom…” I waited; I wanted to make sure I had her full attention.
“Hang on a minute, I’m just finishing up with Phil.” I heard a faint click as she switched over. I rolled my eyes at Edward, and he gave me his crooked smile.
“So what do I owe this phone call too? Is everything all right?” Her voice started to rise in pitch.
“Fine Mom, everything is fine. Better than fine, actually…” I stopped as I realized my words were starting to sound a little hysterical.
“Fine. Right.” Renee sounded suspicious now. “And…”
I took a deep breath, looked at Edward and said quickly, “Edward proposed to me, Mom, and I said ‘yes’.” The rest of the air came out of my lungs in a big whoosh. I watched Edward’s thumb stroke the back of my free hand as I waited for her response. There wasn’t one…
“Mom, are you still there?” A soft exhale on the other end of the connection told me she was. “Mom, say something.” Another breath, louder this time.
“You want to get married?” she said evenly. I recognized the tone, it usually preceded punishment when I was a child. This was not going well. Edward now picked up my hand and kissed it.
“It’ll be alright, Bella,” he whispered softly. I shook my head. This was going to be very bad.
“Yes, Mom, I love him,” I said, waiting for the question that would put her over the edge.
“So you are engaged,” she croaked. My hand was shaking in Edward’s now. It was like waiting for a grenade to go off.
“Yes.”
“And when…” she paused as her voice broke again, “…when are you planning the… event.” There it was, the question I was dreading. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.
“This summer,” I said slowly.
“What! You want to get married this summer? Did you forget what happened to your father and me? How could you do this – after the pain that boy put you through? Bella are you insane? WHAT DID YOUR FATHER SAY?” Renee finally had to take a breath, and I decided that only the last question was worth answering.
“Charlie gave us his blessing. He knows that we are meant to be together and I think you do…” CLICK “…too…” I dropped the phone, pulled my hand out of Edward’s and covered my face. She’d never hung up on me before, it hurt much more than I would have ever thought.
Edward immediately wrapped his arms around me and pulled me on to his lap. “I’m sorry this is so hard. If you’d rather…”
“Please do not ask if I’d rather wait. If I hear that again I’m going to scream,” I snapped. Tears were starting to leak out of my hands. I turned my face into Edward’s shoulder and started to sob.
He stroked my hair as he spoke. “Shhh, Bella. I was going to ask if you’d rather I talked to her.” He held me tighter and I started to calm down.
“No, I don’t think that will help.” I took a deep breath and looked up. Edward gently wiped away the tears on my cheeks, then looked into my eyes. I couldn’t help but smile at the beauty of his face. “Renee has to calm down and actually think about what I said. I guess I didn’t realize how shocked she would be. She’ll call back…” I hope.
I settled back into Edward’s shoulder and closed my eyes. The day had been an emotional rollercoaster, and it was starting to take its toll. I started counting the seconds as they passed in my head. She needs time, I told myself, and forced my thoughts elsewhere.
My mind wandered back to the wedding dress in Alice’s closet, and I tried to picture myself in it. Edward’s perfect figure then appeared next to me in a vintage suit with a long morning coat and ascot tie. I concentrated on the image closer and realized we were standing on something white and fluffy. The picture started to shrink, and I realized we were standing on top of a wedding cake.
Just then the phone rang and I woke with a start. “Take your time and wake up, Bella, I’ll answer it,” Edward said gently. He still held me close with one arm as he reached for the phone next to us on the couch. I rubbed my eyes, trying to clear out my brain and sort out the dream from the reality of this intense day.
“Swan residence,” he said smoothly. “Hello Renee. Yes, she’s here, but it will be just a minute.” He paused, listening. Edward looked down at me briefly, inspecting my expression.
“Bella was a little… startled, yes, but she is doing fine.”
I nodded and held my hand out for the phone. “Here she is, Renee.” Edward smiled and winked at me – Renee must be doing better, too.
“Hi Mom. I’m sorry if I took you by surprise, I didn’t know how else to tell you.” I tried not to sound desperate, but failed miserably.
“Bella, I should be the one apologizing, I was very rude. I’m sorry.” She inhaled roughly, and I could tell she’d been crying, too.
“It’s okay, Mom, I really do understand. It’s very fast, I know…”
“You’re so young, Bella. How do you know Edward is the one?” she asked.
I took a breath and relaxed now that Renee was starting to come around. “I’m not sure I can describe it, Mom. When we’re together I feel complete, alive. It is more than love… it’s like finally coming home after being lost for a very long time. With Edward is where I’m supposed to be.”
Edward wrapped both arms around me now and kissed the top of my head. “Yes,” he whispered.
“That’s beautiful, Bella,” Renee said softly. I didn’t know what to say…
“I called Charlie, and he was very supportive of your decision.” She paused again, and I could tell that she was trying to decide what to say next.
“Bella, I can’t truly say I’m happy about this,” her voice was apologetic.
“I know Mom, I really do,” I said, hanging on her words now.
“But I think that Charlie is right. You two do seem destined some how to be together, and it is what you believe will make you happy. I will try and get more comfortable with that fact before the big day, okay?” Renee’s voice wavered at the end.
I looked up at Edward with a smile on my face. “Thank you, Mom. I love you so much.”
“I love you too, Bella. So do you have a specific date set yet?” Her voice faded at the end, but she took a deep breath and I could guess she was trying to relax.
“No, but it will probably be in August. As soon as we have more details I’ll call you, okay?” I waited, hoping that she wouldn’t explode again.
I heard her take another deep breath. “All right, Bella. Thank you for calling to tell me, sweetheart, and give Edward my best, okay?”
“Okay, Mom. I’ll call you soon. Love you…”
“Love you, too, Bella. Good bye.”
“Bye, Mom.” I clicked the phone off and set it back on the couch. Edward pulled me close and I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. “We did it.” I said, relieved.
“Yes we did, Mrs. Cullen,” he said with a chuckle, then turned and kissed the nape of my neck.
His words sent a shock through me and I inhaled sharply. “I think I like the sound of that, Mr. Cullen,” I said as his lips found mine.
When we separated he smiled crookedly. “Now all we have to do is endure Alice…”
Question 2: I truly have no idea if anyone will crash the wedding. It WON’T be the Volturi – they would have to kill everyone in attendance, and I expect most of Forks to be there. My gut says that the wolves won’t show. Maybe they would crash the honeymoon. Don’t know if someone else will crash…
I think that Bella and Edward will go together to tell Charlie (remember how Edward amends Bella’s statement just before he puts the ring on her finger at the very end just before the Epilogue of Eclipse “What are WE going to do now?”). Knowing Bella, she’ll try to convince Edward that she should talk to Charlie alone, but Edward is just as stubborn as Bella and I think that when Bella gets down to it, she’ll be enough of a coward to want some sort of support (or shield LOL!). I’m not concerned so much about Charlie’s reaction (although I can’t wait to read Stephenie Meyer’s description of Charlie’s facial expressions and most importantly-color!) because he already promised Bella on pg. 590 of Eclipse that “I won’t kick up a fuss. Just give me some advance notice. Give me a chance to hug you goodbye.” I’m more interested in Bella’s phone call to her mother! That has got to be one of the most awkward phone calls EVER! I have a feeling that Renee is going to originally kick up a tempest sized temper tantrum, but will begin to remember the last time she saw Bella in Florida and the way that she and Edward were together. Renee will recall how serious they seemed and maybe realize that this is someone that Bella really loves and that maybe not every teen marriage is doomed to end up like hers. Better yet, Renee might do what Edward said way back in Twilight and “extend the same courtesy (of choosing your husband) to you, do you think? No matter who your choice was?” (pg. 106). As far as “wedding crashers”, I would just like to point out something before I go into my theory. The definition of a wedding crasher is someone who appears at a wedding WITHOUT an invitation. Jacob, therefore, cannot technically “crash” the wedding. Bella might think he was crashing for a second, but I’m sure that Edward would explain or Bella would put two and two together. On that note, I think that Jacob will be at the ceremony. Whether or not Bella realizes he’s there, I think that he has to see it so that he has closure. He has to watch her tie herself to Edward so that he has a final answer on whether she could change her mind. He WILL still love her, but will know that there is no more going back and that Bella chose Edward. He’ll leave after that (maybe even leaving half-way through the ceremony) and won’t come back. My other theory is that I think it would be very likely for Jane or Demetri to make a brief appearance at the wedding. The wedding is a sign to them that the Cullens a) are following “the rules” b) will follow through with their promise and c) inform them that they are acquiring a new member and thereby becoming stronger. However, I don’t think that they would intentionally make their presence known however for two reasons: 1) because there are so few people in Forks that they are bound to stick out like a sore thumb and they then jeopardize their anonymity thereby breaking their rules which the Volturi simply don’t do and 2) the Cullens (despite the fact that they will recognize their presence) don’t want them hanging around. With the exception of Carlisle, they don’t have much to do with the Volturi and like it that way. Of course, I could be totally wrong and can’t wait to find out what the real deal is August 2!!!
Well to answer question one I actually don’t think we will get to read about them going to talk to Charlie and Renee because at the end of the eclipse in the prologue Jacob decides to leave town after he receives a wedding invitation.
However if we do get to read about it I do think both Edward and Bella will go to talk to Bella’s parents about the wedding and I don’t think they are going to take it well. I think Renee will probably take the news worse though, because I think Charlie probably has a pretty good idea that they would end up together based on the fact that he knew they were trying to go to the same college so they could continue to be together. I think once the initial shock is over though for Renee I think she will be able to accept the news, because she too kinda had some sort of idea that the had a very serious relationship based on the scene in eclipse when Renee and Bella are walking on the beach and talking about Edward and the way they are around each other.
As for the second question, I think that someone will interrupt the wedding and I think that it will be the volturi. I think they will find out about the wedding and will decided to visit and insist that before the marriage can take place Bella needs to be turned into a vampire.

Okay, Blondie A.K.A Robin, the good new, that was spectacular! There are a few things that I don’t think the characters would say but over all that is how I would picture it. The bad news. You wrote a few pages of what you think Breaking Dawn is. Problem is, isnt that plagiarism? You had the characters names and everything. Isnt that sort of copy infringement too? I dont know all the details ( I’m definitely not a lawyer) but just incase you get called by Stephenie Meyer’s pulisher’s lawyers i’m just giving you a heads up. Loved it though!!!!
In answer to the first question, I think that Edward will go with Bella to tell Charlie and then stay with her when telling Renee over the phone. Because of Bella’s attitude towards marrying Edward, I can imagine Bella asking Edward to be with her when telling Charlie and Renee because she needs the extra support – I can imagine her having to keep hold of something to make sure she doesn’t collapse from panicking so much because she’s not looking forward to telling them. As for reactions from Charlie and Renee, there will be the usual “Are you sure you want to do this?” lecture. But Charlie might be more angry about this than Renee because she has seen the way Bella and Edward are together and I don’t think it would come as too big a surprise to her to hear that they’re getting married – although there will be stern words about them getting married so young. Whereas Charlie is still a bit hostile towards Edward for leaving Bella, so not only is he taking that into consideration, it’s also the fact that Bella’s marrying Edward straight out of high school.
Question number 2. If someone was going to interrupt the wedding, it is most likely to be Jacob. Or, as a comic alternative, Bella would faint as she says “I Do”, and something like that can interrupt a wedding. I see the Volturi entering the book a bit later, which will then lead into a hasty transformation for Bella. Or the wedding will go without a hitch. I’m so indecisive. But those are my theories.
Question #1: I think this has already happened since the epilogue at the end of Eclipse had Jacob receiving the wedding invitation with Edward’s note. However, I do believe that Bella and Edward would have done this together. Naturally, neither Renee nor Charlie would be enthusiastic about them getting married so “young”. And Charlie has never entirely warmed up to Edward again after New Moon… In the end, though, they will come around because they both love Bella and Edward is so clearly the man she has chosen. In addition, Charlie and Renee should understand that Bella is mature for her age and fully capable of making such an enormous decision with both eyes open and brain fully engaged. By the way, this may not be the place for it but I think that Charlie know more than he lets on about the nature of the Cullens and the Quileutes.
Question #2: I’m still thinking this one through, but for now I don’t think the wedding will be interrupted. There’s going to be trouble, but like so many others have said, the Volturi wouldn’t expose themselves like that and I can’t see the wolves interfering either. I believe that the trouble will revolve around whether Bella is turned or not…

Well, I think that Bella will end up deciding on telling Charlie herself, while Edward is there for moral support. I think Charlie will definantly object and remind her about when he left her earlier, and say something along the lines of,” Bella, I think Jacob is a much better option.” Which I don’t think is ever going to happen, he hasn’t even imprinted on her.
As for unexpected guests at the wedding,
I don not think the Volturi will come to the wedding, Alice would see it. But I do think Jacob will be able to crash, because Alice wouldn’t be able to know where he his if he comes back in wolf form. Which would be the perfect plan. And what I think will happen is all of the Cullens and Swan’s friends will be at the wedding, INCLUDING mortals who are oblivious to the fact that they are living with Vampires and werewolfs. I think Jacob will come back in wolf form and scare every mortal away, in utter chaos! Then I think there will be a fight FINALLY between the wolfs and vampires.

I think Edward will want to be there, but Bella may want to do it alone and may think that it will make things worse if Edward is there. But, of course, I’m not sure.
I like how everyone seems to think that someone will interupt the wedding. I am an avid Fanfiction reader and I’ve read many stories about the wedding were someone interupts it. I. myself, don’t think someone will because I don’t know if Stephenie would want someone interupting such a romantic thing. But, if someone does, it will probably be Jacob or one of the werewolfs, or maybe the Volturi? I think it would be HILARIOUS if Mike Newton interupted the wedding!

yes , it would be awesome to see how Bella’parent react when she gets married. At the age of eight-teen. Since Charlie doen’t like edward that much, but either way he does care about Bella safty and happieness. Also, Jacob will interupt the wedding and capture her.
Yes. I don’t think the reaction will be good though. I have a feeling Charlie is going to freak out. Renee probably won’t like it because she is getting married so young. But, I also think Charlie and Renee will get over it once they start watching Bella and Edward together. Their love is SO strong. If someone makes a mistake, the other one forgives them right off the bat. Sometimes I say I am never going to get married becuase Edward is the ONLY perfect guy. LOL.
Yes. I do think the wedding will be “crashed.” I know this would never happen(well, never say never) but… I think Victoria will crash the wedding because of the whole soul mate thing.

i think that tanya and her family will be the wedding crashers. In the third book, it said that they wanted to take out the were wolves, and edward and his family are probably gonna invite them to the wedding, and edward also invited jacob, and if jacob gets mad and changes into the werewolf, then tanya might want to take him out
I think Edward will want to be there, but Bella will probably be stubborn as always and want to do it herself! I think he will end up there though.
The Volturi or Jacob will do something at the wedding I am sure!
i think in the end they will get their blessings of charlie and renee. I also think sometime after the wedding some other vampire will bite bella unwillingly but only half the venom goes in, bella will become a half vampire but still half human. She would have some advantages of the vampire in her like immortalitly and some of her human side is still there like she still has to sleep or something. Or edward does bite her but her body reacts to the venom differenlty than it should because she doesnt comply to much vampire powers like edward cant read her mind or jane cant torture her and so forth, but she still becomes a vampire but as i said above only half of her.
i think edward will go with bella to talk to renee, but not charlie. for edward’s safety (even though charlie couldn’t hurt him if he tried), bella should talk to charlie alone. for renee, however, seeing the connection between edward and bella will help convince her that they are happy together and should get married.
I think that it would be very interesting to see the reaction between the volturi and the werewolves. they are not familiar with eachother. it would be a very dangerous and exciting situation if they were both involved in the wedding.
Bella’s gonna cheat and bring Jasper, so everyone will calm down.

honestly, I think Charlie will freak out, and Renee will, surprisingly, accept it, because Renee has always tuned into the way Edward and Bella are close, and I don’t think she could ever deny her daughter the chance to be with the person she loved wholeheartedly like that. Eclipse says two very important things about Renee that add to this theory:
1) She is very observant. She has already seen how they act around each other and tries to understand their relationship.
2) She is very impulsive. Although she wants better for Bella than what she went through, she must be somewhat of a romantic and will support her.
Well I think they will tell Charlie together, I know Edward would want to be there with Bella for support when it happens. And if nothing else to make sure she doesn’t chicken out and does tell him. I think Renee will take it better than expected. I think she knows just how much Edward loves her daughter, and she has said before that Bella acts older than she is.
As for the wedding being interrupted, I think it will either be the Volturi or Jacob. I’m leaning more towards it being the Volturi though. Come to check and make sure that she will be turned. Aro will probably want to try and persuade Edward and Alice and maybe Bella after she is turned to come and join their family.
