Wuthering Heights/Eclipse Podcast ~ Week #21

This week if full of discussion… First we peruse the news (including an interview with Werepire Kyle), then we talk about the parallels between Wuthering Heights and Eclipse using your answers to the question of the week! To top things off, we discussed a few Supporter Specualtions! And don’t forget, (Spoiler Alert!) we have a special segment on The Host, Ch. 7-11, at the end of the show! The music this week is ‘The Liars’ by Amy Courts.

I read Wuthering Height right after I read the twilight sega for the first time.
I love it and highly request it for all twilight fans.

holy crow! this one’s long! its ok i don’t mind. just saying!
As much as I love to try and find foreshadowing in previous books, I’m a little wary of doing this with the first novel of this series. This is mostly because Meyer herself has said that when she wrote Twilight, it was originally just a single book; there were no plans for a series. Though I can’t remember where she said this, she herself has said that the whole “Jacob transforms into a wolf in the woods” thing was a very interesting coincidence. This is why I’m not necessarily shooting down the dream theory, but I’m a little bit speculative about accepting it.
i give a thumbs up for the gremlin story! especially the ‘bright light! bright light!’ thing was really funny!
I’ve got to agree that the whole crackers and water thing was a bit of a let down… I liked the gremlin version much better! Or maybe the groundhog was after the smushed up packet of Twinkies?
I love the comment about the Twinkies from Amy R!!!! Those things last forever!

Wow! You guys get better every time!! The Host segment was HILARIOUS!! I started literally laughing out loud when Kallie was telling her gremlin version! The groundhog part was sooo funny too!!
I loved your gremlin story, Kallie! It made me laugh! I do have to agree though that an external struggle would have been distracting during this part of the book. i love you guys! You always make me laugh! Can’t wait for the next Podcast!

I just had an epiphany (haha) and i thought of a very good reason why romeo and juliet favor breaking dawn.
I know its a bit late but when bella jumps off the cliff and edward thinks she dies it is VERY similar to when juliet drinks the poison and romeo thinks she has died for good. The only major difference here is that edward is stopped b4 he commits his own “suicide”
I know its late but it would so make my week if you would bring this point up in your podcast!

Hey, I love your podcast. It’s the best one that I’ve found.
I thought it was kindof ironic/funny that when you were talking about how on the red carpet Kristen wore something simple and then you compared her to Robert the same way Bella does with Edward in the books. I just thought it was interesting. I don’t know if you did it on purpose…but it made me laugh.

Moving on…….You had me thinking on this pod cast the talk was a lot about when Bella was going to be turned………..I believe they get married have a normal life for a bit and then some how Bella finds out that the Volturi are coming to attach the werewolves or that Jacob is in some kind of danger from the Volturi and she runs away to help!!!! In the process she get mortally hurt/injured and that is when Edward turns her into a Vampire…………
I do believe it will be Edward that turns her……..
