We know that the Cullens aren’t the only vampires in the world… How do you think the other vampires will play into Breaking Dawn? The Volturi? The Denali Clan? Vampires we know of, but haven’t seen, like Jasper’s ‘friends’ in the south?

sigh… the Volturi.
With them it’s pretty much they want it, they get it.
It must be odd for them to not get Edward, Alice, or the rest of the Cullen clan.
I don’t think they gave up on them just yet.
And what would happen if Bella’s power is even more potent than they believe it is?
Whoa…. what a scary thought.
Gosh, it must be terrible for Bella with the Volturi breathing down her neck.

Anyway, I think that they will all come in somewhere.
The Denali clan, I think will run into Jacob or Leah, which I mentioned when I was answering the ‘Who Will Die’ question. I think Irina(I spelled that wrong last time!) will kill Leah, because she will provoke Leah somehow and Leah will turn into a werewolf to prove that she could kill Irina if she really wanted to.
Irina will remember that Laurent was killed by a werewolf pack and attack for revenge. I said earlier that I thought Sam would come in and try to save Leah and escape, but wounded. Maybe, the Denali clan will think that they could deal with the whole pack and try to attack. Or not, I just thought of that as I wrote my other idea.
I also think that the Volturi won’t crash the wedding, but they’ll come right after Edward and Bella leave. I think that they might come and see Bella alive the day before she gets changed- or not- or after she is changed. I would really rather they didn’t interfer at all, but we all know they will somehow. 🙁
I don’t beleive that the southerners will be involved at all.

The Volturi: It was kind of mentioned in Eclipse that the Volturi were a little intimidated or might be intimidated of the Cullens because they were the biggest coven other than the Volturi. Also, when Jane realized how many newborns the Cullens took on she found it quite interesting. I think the Volturi might feel threatened by the Cullens and wipe them out in Breaking Dawn.
If Edward dies, I think that Bella will only have one direction to go- to Jacob.
Problem: Jacob did not imprint on Bella, so Bella will lose out on both of them eventually.
But, what if Jake does not imprint? What if the soul he’s supposed to imprint on is not born in his lifetime? If so, then Jake could love Bella in the most humanly way possible, and I think Edward would have been okay of that- if he dies.
I don’t know how the Denali family is going to play in with this. It could either be a fundamental piece, or just a foil method just for backdrop and explanations for smaller parts to the book.
i dont mean to criticise georgie, but if edward dies, bella said she would die. but edward wont die… or else!
but i do agree that jacob doesn’t have to imprint. but if BD is meant to be based on a midsummer nights dream, then imprinting would make sense as a replacement for the love potion… maybe jacob can mistake him haveing a crush as imprinting? i dunno how that would work, but you never know…
ummm…. vampires that will play into breaking dawn. I got some theories, this might be long and sorry for that. Ok then remember in Eclipse that Edward told Bella that maybe Jasper was going to contact Maria to help fight the newborns off, what will happen if she comes back? A love triangle between Jasper, Alice, and Maria. Hopefully that doesn’t happen, I just want it to be Jasper and Alice. My other theory is that maybe Victoria had some vampire friends, and now they want revenge for Victoria’s death and there will be another fight. My last theory is that maybe the Denali clan will contact the Volturi and tell them about the werewolves,since one of the ladies from the Denali clan was sort of dating Laurent or going out with him, however you would like to put it, anyway and the werewolves killed him, and the Volturi don’t like alliances with werewolves or something like that because I don’t know how Edward said it in Eclipse before the Volturi came. That might cause a battle between the Volturi and Denali clan against the Cullens and werewolves. There finally finished, hopefully it wasn’t too long. Love the podcast both of you are hilarious
i think that the volurti will break up the wedding i dont want them to ad i hope they dont lol or edward will change bella or he will be getting ready to and they will come in to the picture. or maybe some other bad vampires will come. i cant wait to find out.

You know, I really don’t think any of them will play into the story much. My only “maybe” is the Volturi. But I mostly think that this story will be about Edward and Bella trying to spend their eternity together. The action will be the werewolves taking advantage of the broken treaty. The Volturi might come because “Someone” (hem, hem, Denali clan because one of them had a thing for Laurent, who was killed by the werewolves) tipped them off about the werewolves. But, I think the action will start after a fifty-year gap in the story, where Bella has control and the werewolves were able to track down the Cullens. In the end, all of the werewolves will be destroyed (they are all still the ages they were in Eclipse, because they haven’t stopped phasing), except Jacob, and Bella will have to make a decision. Does she want to end the fight, and kill Jacob, or does she want to risk some of the Cullens dying in order to save Jacob? Only time will tell…
Hope you like it! I’ve never heard a theory even close to it. Thanks for taking the time to make all of those podcasts! Trust me, it’s greatly appreciated by all of us Twilighters who are about to go bald pulling our hair out from having to wait so freakin long for Breaking Dawn.
I think the Denali clan will want revenge on the werewolves for killing Laurent, and tip off the Volturi, or atleast Jane and Felix and Demitri because we all know how much she doesn’t like Bella. I think she sees her as competition and she knows that Aro would like to see her changed to see just what her special powers could be and be his new “favorite”. So the Volturi will make a reappearance sometime around or after the wedding, and set a trap for Bella (or Jacob) either using Charlie or the werewolves. Take her (him) back to Italy, where they know Edward and Alice and possibly Carlise will come. I believe Aro will try change her himself or have one of the Cullens to do it. Maybe Jane then steals her away and makes a deal with the Denali clan for her to kill her. I would like to see maybe Rosalie or Jasper (somebody who is unlikely) to save her or help Edward to. I don’t think Jasper’s old friends will come back in the picture, but if they did it would be a love triangle with them and Alice and know she would try and kill her. Just as long as Edward and Bella (both vampires) end up together and all the Cullens are still together then i’m happy.
I believe that the Volturi are really going to play a major role in this book. SM really did leave us off at the end of Eclipse not really knowing what the heck is going to go down with the Volturi. She definitely left their storyline open for more interpretation; more than she did with the Denali Clan. They know, or think, at some point Bella is going to become a vampire. At one point or another, I think they’re going to figure out how subjective Alice’s premonitions are and will definitely want to come and check things out again with the excuse that they want come see dear, old Carlilse again.
I also think that The Volturi will probably want to come around and deal with the wolves as well. Maybe, they’ll find out that the Cullens are in a treaty with the werewolves and will want everything to be resolved – ultimately eliminating the werewolves in the end since they do not honor treaties with werewolves.
The Denali Clan, at best, will play a minimal role in Breaking Dawn, in my opinion. Since Breaking Dawn is supposed to tie up loose ends, it’ll probably be more interaction with Tanya than anything. Tanya had a thing for Edward and then there was another thing with Laurent and Tanya’s sister (I forget her name – Irina or Irine or something to that sort). Tanya will probably want to come out and try to deal with the wolves for killing Laurent and may want to try and deal with the Cullens for allowing the wolves to kill Laurent.
As for the vampires from Jasper’s past – I don’t think we’ll hear a whole lot more about them just because I don’t think SM would want to open up another can of worms. A mention of it at best.

Sorry if this is long so bear with me…
This theory was sparked by your last podcast and how you guys were talking about the Denali clan playing into the last book of the saga. I believe that the vampires from Alaska are definitely going to be invited to the wedding but Tanya isn’t going to try and steal Edward away from Bella. Instead, Seth will be at the wedding and vampires already have problems with werewolves… catch my drift? I believe that the Denali clan is going to fight(not a physical fight but argue-fight) and tell the Cullens how insane they are for befriending a wolf. Why else would Stephenie make Edward and Seth friends? Plus Alice will be blind for the entirety of the wedding because of Seth’s presence so the Cullen’s will have no clue as to what will happen during the wedding.
After this fight, they will go and alert the Volturi of the situation in Forks and the friendliness there is between the Cullens and werewolves. This will cause the BIG drama and action in the book. I don’t believe the Denali clan will be apart of the fight but will let the Volturi carry it out how they want.
This way we will be introduced to the Denali clan and this is how they will seek their revenge against the werewolves for having killed Laurent after they had taken a liking to him.
I always wondered why they never came for any revenge or even really said anything about it so I think this would be the perfect way for them to do that.

BWAHAHAHA. . . the Volturi *sigh* Where to begin!?
First off, the Volturi are definetly gonna have a fit about The Cullens not joining their pow wow. So i belive that they will show up at the wedding claiming to be related to the Cullen’s and have one last talk with them about joining and about Bella. Of course they will all say politely no, and say a date is set. Now i don’t know about what else they will play in the book but im pretty positive about this.
*jaws music* THE DENALI CLAN!!!!!!!! *bump bump bummmmmm*
hahaha ok well I believe that the Denali clan will go to the wedding and of course Tanya will look like a stripper! So Bella will get her panties in a twist and kinda flip out. Edward will act exactly like he did in the restaurant in Port Angeles, but that won’t calm Bella down. So after the wedding Edward works his magical “kiss Bella and make her not breath” trick and Bella will take a chill pill. Now when the Denali clan gets back up to Alaska, they will stumble across an abnormally large wolf, that turns out to be. . . .JACOB!(In the first chapter of Breaking Dawn, Seth tells Bella that Jacob is up in Canada which is right next to.. .. . . .. ALASKA!) and the Denali clan will pull a wupin on him, but not before the La Push Squad 650 is alerted. They all jump into their wolf suits and heidi hoe on up there! They all get in a big fight and the Cullens hear about it but turns out Bella and Edward are on their honeymoon. But of course Bella has to be a partypooper and be like “OMG JACOB!!”. So they zoom on up there and then its all out war!!! Then a little birdie tells the Volturi about the gang bang so they decide “hey! lets go chop ppls heads off!” and rush on up there. They all get in a fight blah blah blah. . . ppl die blah blah blah and Edward and Bella end up together forever!!! TADA!! THE END!

Ok, so I think that somehow, Peter and Charlotte, Jasper’s friends will be involved. Maybe, there will be and all out war and they will join with the Cullens and Werewolves against the Volturi and Denali clan.
I also think that the Denali Clan will play a much bigger part. My guess is that they come down to Forks to visit the Cullens, Jacob will come back, and he will imprint on Tanya! I also have the feeling that Irina will rat out the Werewolves behind Tanya’s back to the Volturi. She wouldn’t tell anyone and the Volturi would come to Forks for a “visit” while really just trying to check the Werewolves out.
Last but not least are the Volturi. Besides fighting against the Cullens in an all out war, I suspect that they will kidnap Charlie. (the guard, without Aro’s permission) Bella would try to save him, but it would just be a trap and the Volturi would kill him anyways. They would do this because Jane is jelous (excuse my spelling) of Bella and they want her out of the way so that Aro will stop thinking about joining with some of the Cullens.
The Volturi come up with a plan to take over the world, which only the Cullen’s and Bella can stop….. -shocker-
I think most people forgot about the scene in Eclipse when Alice had that vision of Victoria and edward covered it up with a vision about seeing Jasper in a strange lpace somewhere south. We all know how much Edward hates to lie to Bella, but sometimes he just keeps some truth to himself and tells about something else to distract Bella. So I’m thinking that maybe, just maybe that was an earlier vision that Alice had had. Jasper might acidentally attack Bella again and be upset with himself and run away back to his former home in the south where some southern vampires hear about the powerful Cullen family. They think that the Cullens are just building their army to come and take over the south so they lead n attack against the cullens.
This would make sense because it
a) gives the book an awesome fight scene
b) adda plenty of drama where it might be lacking
c)gives the southerners a little more spotlight
d) and makes it so that Bella must be changed into a vampire
and maybe if we’re lucky jacob will try to join them and get killed. That was for you Kassie 🙂
Denali
Well, the Denali clan seems like the closest clan to the Cullens. They are the only others mentioned who hunt animals, they lived with the Cullens for a while, and when the Cullens needed help they were the first people that they called. So, if there were another issue in BD, like having to keep newborn Bella somewhere else, they would likely turn to them again. While some of them seem closer to the Cullens (friend wise) than others, they are clearly the only vamps the Cullens would ask for help. It would also give the books some drama because Bella would meet Tanya.
Voulturi
The Voulturi are definitely going to play a part, if only to check out newborn Bella. Obviously, there will be some fight scenes in the book, which could also get the Voulturi involved because of the vampire ‘law’. If Maria showed up, or any other southern vamps, that could also be a cause for their concern so that they show up because they think the Cullens are plotting with the southern vamps. Which could evolve into the whole Cullens-take-over-the-vampire-world-thing, which, frankly, I don’t think is going to happen. They are not stern enough, and I can’t imagine Carlise as ‘King’ or ‘President’ or whatever.
Southern Vamps
Charlotte and Peter could play a role. They are the closest thing anyone of the Cullens had to friends. (besides the Denali clan) If they needed something, they would probably go to Jasper for help. I talked about Maria already, but what if a vampire who was conquered by Maria and Jasper’s newborns was plotting revenge, and either Maria ran from him/her to Jasper (which I think is more likely) or Alice saw him/her coming and looking for Jasper. Or there could be two, mates, both having been conquered by J & M.
New Vamps
And then there is always the possibility that there will be vamps never mentioned before….so we are clueless (pretty much) in that field.

OMG!, I just had an idea! What if Edward met some human drinking vamps when he was having his ‘rebellious streak’? Either he made enemies or friends, but what ever the case…
The Volturi.
Their part in the story is something difficult to understand. It all seems very unclear and foggy. Edward had menchand that the Volturi would cheek up on Bella in 20 yr. when she had gotton exsited about becoming a vampie sooner then she expected. With this knowllage it confuses me to read comments describing the Volturi interupting the wedding. I don’t doubt that the Volturi are going to be in the book, but their part will be smaller that expected.
The Denali Clan
Tanya may become a problem. As we all know all ready Bella is tends to be rather selfconsius, if Edward takes Bella up to Alasksa for her first year and tanya is “struting her stuff” for Edward to seduce him away from Bella. Of course he will stay Bella(if not i might just flush the book) but Bella will have one her worst fears put on the spot light; shes not good enough for Edward.
There have also have been rumors surculating about Edward seacretly being married to or in love with Tanya, all of witch in my opinon are false. Edward loves Bella and he has even said himself that he like brunuts better.
Jasper’s ‘friends’ in the south
I just can see Jaspers ‘friends’ coming for a visit. His story was very important to understand and better grasp his character in Eclipes, but I have a feeling that the spot light will be focused only on Edward and Bella in Breaking Dawn.

I think that it wont necessarily be all of the Volturi but maybe just Alec since we do not know much about him yet but we get the impression his power is even more powerful then Janes. The reason I do not think that the whole Volturi will be involved is because we have had two books to introduce us to the Voltrui and I think that now Stephaphanie Meyer is going to be focused on tieing up loose ends meaning telling is Alecs power and that somehow collerating with a Midummer Nights Dream.
I do think however that the Denali Clan will play a bigger role in Breaking Dawn because like Alec weve been told about them and we know they exsist but weve never seen them in a direct stroyline. I do not know exacty how they will play into the book but I think they willl get a bigger role than people will be expecting.
Ok I credit this to my Friend Ally but shes not hooked on TST yet but no worrys she will be muahahah sorry i had a moment.A lot of people think that because the Denali have been mentioned in the books but have never been very big that they will play a big part in BD. I agree.but i also think that since this is the last book SM is gonna tie up all lose ends. and bring back everybody that has been talked about or mentioned but has not been really big. Like Peter and Charlote and Maira and the southerners. But wait i have proof. In Eclipse when everyone is sitting at the lunch table and Alice has a vision Bella notices it and later asked Edward. He then told her that Alice saw Jasper going down south tords his past family and it worried her. Now we know that isnt true because we found out Alice saw victoria comming back and thats why Edward had her go to Flordia to visit her mom, but maby just maby what if SM said that just to mess with us knowing eventualy she would have Jasper go back and ended up laughin at it knowing that she was JACKING(lol that was funny) with us by puting in foreshadowing for Breaking Dawn. Just an idea but i love it and my friend is a genious.
I don’t see why the Volturi would crash the wedding or the changing of Bella – it makes no sense to me. They want Bella to become a vampire, so why would they stop it? Other vampires will definitely play in, but I just can’t see that they’ll cause a problem – isn’t another vampire a good thing?? I think the werewolves are far more likely to create issues with Bella and Edward – they are they ones not happy with the arrangement. We’ll see, maybe I’m wrong! I got married relatively stress-free almost a year ago and I hate to think that their wedding or the honeymoon period afterward would be messed up by other vampires. They’re the good guys in my book!
Maybe the Volturi and the Denali clan are invited to the wedding.

I think that first we have to remember that vampires rarely travel in groups of more than 2. I think it is mentioned in New Moon that the only reasons the Denali clan and the Cullens can live together peacably is becasue they have given up drinking human blood. Somene in the book speculates (maybe Alice?) that the only reason the Volturi can do it is their age. So as to what I think:
Denali clan: They have to have a go with the werewolves at some point. It has been mentioned over and over that vampires can NOT get over a lost love without some sort of revenge, so Irina has to avenge Laurent at some point.
Volturi: I think something has to happen to Jane becasue I don’t think anything else could get Aro, Marcus or Casius over to the U.S. Somehow, I think that one of the major 3 Volturi vampires dies and I don’t see any Cullens visiting Italy in BD.
Friends of the south: Maybe they are mentioned in conversation, but I really don’t think that they have a huge role, since their story was all ready told in Eclipse.
Random Vampires: I think we may meet a few, just new friend of Bella when she is turned and who knows what they will be capable of doing!

I think that both will come back and tweak the story!! They have been mentioned way too much to be written out of the story!! I think there will be a few big blow ups Between the Volturi and the Denali clan and they will maybe kill each other!!! Knocking each other out!!!

I think that the Volturi and the Denali clan will play a major part in Breaking Dawn. I still think that the Volturi will interrupt Bella and Edward’s wedding, however, I think they will do it without involving Renee, Charlie, and all of the other humans that will be there, since humans arent supposed to know about vampires. I also think that somehow, Laurent and VIctoria will create a problem between Tanya’s coven, and the Cullens. There will be a war between the two, and the Cullens will win, but not without a loss. The loss will not be Edward or Alice, but it may be Rosalie or Esme. There may be some new additions to the Cullen Family, and then could also be the lost ones. I really hope this doesnt happen, but I think it might. If it does, I hope none of the original Cullens [Carlisle Edward Esme Rosalie Emmett Alice and Jasper] are lost.
I think that the Voltuir defiently has to play in somewhere. They will defiently have to check on Bella in someone point in BD. I thought it was weird that they didn’t take much notice of Bella being a human still in eclipse and I think that that proves that they have to come back in this book.
I also have a feeling that the Denali clan will come in somehow. We kept learning more and more about them in the past books and I think it’s time we met them. They haven’t served much of a purpose yet, so I think Stephanie was saving them for some all out vampire war thing concerning the werewolves existance. That will defiently put the Cullens in danger because if the Volturi and the Denali clan wanted to oust the werewolves you know the Cullens wouldn’t stand by and just let it happen. I read the note from the Spanish editor and she said “new chacters” that leads me to believe that it is some old friends that we haven’t met yet.
As for the southerners, I don’t think they’ll be in this one. I think their purpose was just to explain the whole newborn army and how Jasper became a vampire, so their done.

i think that in breaking dawn two covens of vampires will play a large role.
first: the volturi. i say this because they said it would be interesting to learn what kind of vampire she will make, also because jane and alec sortive hated her and were jealous.
second: the denali. this because SM wouldnt just give us a few characters for no reason. readers would be interested in who they are and how they are diffrent from the cullens. also they (the denali clan) will be interested in where laurent went. i cant remember if the denali clan knew where laurent went so they might be interested.
i luuuuurrrvvvvveee you guys show. i listen every week. just wanted to put my thoughts in.
My theory, on the party the “other” vampires will play into Breaking Dawn is going to be epic. As stated in New Moon, the Volturi are the largest coven where vampires all co-exist in, a kind of harmony. They follow the rules and when they are broken, there are consequences to pay. The Volturi is a force to be reckoned with and the vampire world fears them. They are the most powerful coven.
Now at the end of Eclipse when the Volturi come to Washington to clean up the mess that Victoria’s fledglings have created, they are quite amazed that the Cullen family has survived the assault without any casualties. I believe that when Jane goes back and reports to the others what had transpired, the Volturi are going to see the Cullen family as a threat to their power. Remember, the Cullens are the 2nd largest coven of vampires and don’t live the lifestyle that the Volturi and other vampires do. I believe that there is going to be another war and that the Cullens will once again need to ally themselves with the wolves as well as the other families in the area to keep the “western” vampires alive.
Now, look at the cover of Breaking Dawn… The Chess pieces… It ties into this theory as well. The Red Pawn represents Bella as a mortal – one who has blood. The pawn is the weakest player in the game. It is positioned in the background – as in – in the past. The large white Queen piece represents Bella as a Vampire – white, cold, stone. No blood. The most powerful player in the game. It is positioned in front and center – present. Once she is turned, her “unknown” powers (I think it will be mind over matter) as well as her ability to block other vampire’s powers are enhanced, she will become the biggest threat to the Volturi and they will feel the need to destroy her – this is what will start the war. The chessboard itself represents the strategy they must use to win and the colors of black and white on the board represent the Cullen’s lifestyle as apposed to the Volturi’s lifestyle – kind of like good vampires vs evil vampires.
Here is how things could go. There will be a big battle with the Volturi, and Jasper will try to get the southern vampires to help them out. Maybe the Volturi will have the Denali Clan on their side since Irina is mad about Laurent. Or somehow the Denali clan will team up with the Volturi to take out the werewolves. I think the Denali clan will basically tell the Volturi about the werewolves to gain their alliance. Since the Volturi will already be in the area, they will want to make sure Bella is changed.
I don’t think Bella will be changed yet, because that may have something to do with the Midsummer Night’s Dream theme. Jacob will be back to help the pack fight the vampires. If she hasn’t changed that could bring the Volturi down on the Cullens.
Also, I believe Leah will have a big role in things, but I’m not sure what that might be. I am not sure she has imprinted on Jacob, because of Edward’s ability to read minds (and also that of the pack’s), he might have discovered that fact at the end of Eclipse during the battle of the newborns (or before) if that had actually happened.
Ok, remeber how in the beginning of Eclipse Edward said that Alice has been seeing Jasper in the south, where his old family is, but he has no intention to go there? Ha! I bet you all forgot that! Sure, he was kind of lying at the time, but I don’t think he made that up! I think THAT will play a part in BD. Or maybe the one after that- if there is another- I don’t know. Also the Volturi will have to be in there somewhere, because they seem to be unavoidable.
I think it is going to be one big vampire reunion. the volturi, denali, and the southern clan will all be in the same place at the same time with one common goal which is to eliminate the wolves. The cullens will be left to choose a side and I think that choice is going to tear some of them apart for a period of time. Jasper has been struggling with his other side for years and to be tempted with his past may cause a sudden lapse in self control. Oh and I’m sure Alex may have something to do with the cullens domestic problems. I don’t know what that little boy is capable of but I’m sure it is huge since SM saved it for the last book to reveal.
I think that maybe all will tie in to this book. If this really is the final “chapter” in the twilight series then i feel like stephenie would want to close up all loose ends. I would like to see her bring in the southern vamps. Im curious to see how they would look since all vampires kinda have their distinct regional characteristics.
On a totally opposite note…think about if more tribes came into play for werewolves side. As far as history points us, the Quileutes had several neighboring tribes with similar practices. Native American tribes would aly and marry off with each other. What if their descendants move to forks and their inner hidden powers could expose themselves by being around vamps? But the Quileutes fought with most of the neighboring tribes and that could have produced a “romeo-juliet effect” & forbidden lovers could have ran away and married. If their was a lost race of werewolves, what if there was a girl among the lost race that was meant for jacob to imprint on! I know its alot to take in and its a LONG answer but it would seriously make my year if you would mention my theory on the podcast. I will do a happy dance if you do lol. later my lovelys!!!
Volturi-
Of course the Vulturi, wasn’t it obvious? Okay, so I might make this a bit long, and i apologize:). The vulturi, will come into the story, (as much as i hate them >.>) They theory thats going around is that they will come and crash Bedwards wedding, I dont believe this, because there is no real reason, to crash it, BUT i think they might come before the wedding to have a little talk with Bella. I think that the Vulturi wont come in afterwards until maybe a week after the wedding, and if Bella is still a human, they will come to see whats up with that. If Bella decides not to become a vampire, (doubtful) then the Vulturi will become violent.
I deffinitely think that the Volturi and the Denali Clan will play in to BD.
Personally I think that following the plot of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” the wedding won’t be until the end of the book, so I think the Volturi will play into the begining either because they will hear about the wedding and come to see whether Bella has been turned or not. Of course they’ll get angry when they see she’s still human and maybe something will happen where she’s in danger and so she’ll have to get changed before the wedding. Or maybe she’ll have to run off with Jacob for safety, and then that goes along more with the “Midsummer Night’s Dream”. My other thought is that the Volturi might come to find out about the werewolves. I can see they might be upset about a threat like that to the vampires. And that would be scary for the werewolves! Eek!
I am pretty sure we’ll also see some if not all of the Denali clan in this book. I think they’ll get invited for the wedding, so they might come down like a week early. They’ve obviously been close with Edward and it’s a big step in his life that they’d want to be a part of. But of course, this will mean jealousy problems for Bella! Especially if she’s still human before the wedding! Tanya might try to steal Edward from her, and so I think there will be some kind of mix up (again like MSND) where the couples get “confused”. I can see Bella being insecure enough to get worked up about things that Tanya might say, and so it might throw things off for a bit. Which again is why I think the wedding will be at the end of the book.

if bella actually makes it up to alaska to go to “collage” then the denali clan will deffinetly play into the story. but if they dont make it up to alaska i dont think they will have very much to do with anything. the volturi will deffinetly come in play tho no matter what. hopefully it will be after bella is a vampire…. but i dont know

Wow, good question. First off, I love Kallie and Kassie’s podcast. You guys are HILARIOUS. But back to the question. I think that all of the other vampires will somehow band together and go against the Cullens. I think the clan in Denali will be very unhappy with the Cullens about turning Bella into a vampire, unless it was to save her life or anything that wasn’t just a plain óh, let’s become a vampire’. The vampires in the South….we haven’t heard quite a lot about them, but I think something will happen that will cause them to go and join all the other vampires. The Volturi…well, who can know with them? I’m guessing they will provoke the Cullens, and since they can’t really win against the Cullens plus Bella, a newborn, they will ask for the back up forces of the Denali clan and the vampires in the South.
I think the the Volturi and the Denali Clan will play out. The Volturi will come because of the Denali and there knowledge of the werewolves so they will use it to get back at the cullens for killing Luarent and Victoria.

Well i was reading twilight over for the idk how many times and something caught my attention when bella was serching the interent for info on vampires. there is a quote in the opening of a website she opened that i remembered reading. my uncle got me this encyclopedia called The Vampire Encyclopedia the 2 quotes in the book are the same as the opening quotes in the book and i looked up what bella found interesting on the web and found something on vampire and werewolves.
One of the type of vampires linked me to Vrykolakas and it is a vampiric connotations rising out of the belief that werewolves upon death came back as members of the undead, Vampires.
It might not happen and it maybe strange but i thought id let you know. its not that i am for the idea. i would love for Jacob to be with Leah because i have always had a soft spot for her though she is a pain to others in the pack she does have a broken heart and so does jacob. so they can mend eath others hearts.
My theory…I think that all H-E-double-Hockey sticks is going to break loose if and when the Volturi find out about the “La Push Gang” while checking up on Bella. The Cullens will have to try to recruit as many Vampires as they can to help.
Jasper will try to get the Southern Vampires (just like Alice’s vision) to help by convincing them that by doing so that they will have free range over the blood of the south with out any consequences from the Volturi. This works and they join.
after much convincing I think that the Denali will join them also just because the Cullens are their Veg-head allies and know that they would do the same if the situation was flipped.
I dont think that they would make any newborn Vampires with the exception being Bella but she will be kept away from the fight.

mmmmk…In Eclipse, Rosalie tells Bella that when the Cullens stayed with the Denali clan there were a lot of females and Edward expressed no interest. When Bella asks Edward about it, he tells her that Tanya expressed interest, but that he told her that he didn’t like her the same way. In New Moon, the Cullens go back to Denali, and they’re all really close, so Tanya most likely knows about Edward and Bella. And she was probably invited to the wedding. I think that Tanya is going to come and try to win Edward over and steal him from Bella. Of course, Edward is extremely loyal to Bella, so I don’t know how that will all play out, but that is my theory. I also think that the Volturi are going to be keeping a close eye on Bella because they already feel threatened by the Cullens, so they’re going to be involved in the book somehow…
I defiantly think that the Denali clan will somehow come into play in Breaking Dawn. It would be kind of odd for Stephanie Meyer to send Jacob toward Alaska and them not have some kind of role…even if it’s just a mention. And of course the Volturi will have a role in the book. To me everything has been leading up to some kind of war with the Volturi…just my opinion 🙂
Okay, I think the whole Midsummer Night’s Dream plot will apply to minor groups of characters like the werewolves and the humans, that is why SM does not want to reveal the other book title to us.
I think the MSND plot will be centered around Leah, Jacob, Angela, and Ben. Ben will fall in love with Leah for some reason, Leah will admit that she likes or has imprinted on Jacob as theorized in a past show, Jacob will imprint on Angela, and Angela will continue to go after Ben because she won’t understand why he left her.
This will all work out in the end though because Angela and Jacob will hook up. Leah will be the one who dies in the book trying to protect Jacob from the Volturi who make an unexpected drop by Forks, and Ben will fall for one of Bella’s other human friends and get over Angela quickly.
Hi girls. This is my first time commenting to the question of the week, but first off I wanted to say how much I enjoy the show.
For as much as we hear about the Denali clan and how they’re friendly with the Cullens, we have yet to actually see them even get close to Forks. I think Stephenie might be setting us up with them, especially since we haven’t actually seen them in the pages of the books yet.
What we know about the Denalis, especially Tanya, is that she carried a torch for Edward but he didn’t return her affections. I wouldn’t be surprised if she acts as a spy for the Volturi. Her attendance at the wedding wouldn’t be completely unnecessary, and she could sell it as wishing Edward–a “friend”–well. In actuality, she could be checking up to see if Bella was still human.
When the Volturi find out she’s still human, they’ll make their way to Washington. Alice will see them coming, but they will still only have a very limited amount of time before they arrive. Edward has always told Bella that he didn’t want her to have to change while a sword is over her head, I think–since they will already be married–that he will be more willing to at least have her in the process of becoming a vampire by the time the Volturi arrive.
I am replying to this weeks question without reading/tainting my theory with the other responses. I think that the Denali coven won’t really come into play in Breaking Dawn unless it involves the Volturi doubting the credibility of having ‘vegetarian’ vampires. No, credibility isn’t the word I’m looking for… more like the Volturi’s assurance that the Cullens/Denali won’t be able to make an uprising against the Volturi and become THE vampire family of their world. This somewhat relates to what was talked about in a previous podcast, my theory involves Jane’s reaction after visiting Forks with the whole newborn vampire problem. I fear that once Jane relays how easily the Cullens were able to beat the newborn vampire army [whether they recognize the werewolf involvement or not because that would make the Cullens even more powerful if they could manage working with a werewolf pack…] then the Volturi will attempt to put an end to the Cullens and their lifestyle [including the Denali coven]. Other than this I can’t see the Denali coven coming into the scene, especially since they wouldn’t help out their fellow ‘vegetarians’ in Eclipse.
Also, I don’t think that Jasper’s vampires will come into play either unless there is another newborn vampire uprising… which would be repetitive [Stephanie please don’t do that!] or new ‘vegetarian’ covens start arising and are looking for inspiration or something along those lines.
So basically, I think that the Volturi are the main vampires [aside from the Cullens of course!!!] who will be present in Breaking Dawn.
so like many others i think the volturi will play a part in breaking dawn they will come back after the wedding while edward and bella are on there honeymoon. the volturi will go after them forcing bella to turn eariler than planned
as for the other vampires i am not quite sure.

I think we are definately going to see more of the Denali Clan and a lot more of the Volturi in Breaking Dawn. However, before I talk about the Denali Clan, I want to talk about who i think is the more importaint ‘clan’- the Volturi.
First of all, I think everyone is looking at the Volturi in an extremely biased view. We have seen a poorer side of the Volturi that has beem tainted further by our exposure to mainly good, moral, vegetarian vampires. The Volturi drink blood- yeah, them and almost every other vampire in the world. So they are not the bad guys just because they drink human blood. Also, in Eclipse Jasper and Carlisle spaks about the Volturi with reverance- he was exposed to the good, saviour side of the Volturi. The vampires who stop chaos and bloodshed. Carlisle and Aro, not to mention, are actually very close friends. However, bella has only seen the ‘evil’ side of the Volturi; and thus we have only seen it. Remember, in the vampire worl the Volturi stop chaos, not start it. However, there was that lingering theory of the Cullens’- the Volturi were fearing the Cullens were too powerful. As we see Bella enter the picture and resist Aro and Jane’s talents when faced with the Volturi, that idea grows stronger on both sides of the board. And when Jane realises the Cullens defeated a goup of bloodthirsty, newborn vampires, (she thinks by themselves too) she must have told everyone and the fear level in the Volturi rose.When bella becomes a vampire, her talent will most likely be so extaordinary that the Volturi and the Cullens hold the same plane, and then the big war will begin.
The Denali clan play into this whole plotline because when Bella is changed and before the war starts, they will be the newborn vampire support and the Cullens will riside in Alaska with them. but when Jacob unconsiously runns to their house the same time the Volturi check on Bella to make sure she is a vampire, one of the Denali clan (most likely Irina) will rat the Cullens out and one of the Volturi will step in to kill Jacob. There will be a struggle, and possibly a newborn Gina will be killed and Jacob will be mortally wounded. The Volturi will rage war after Bella’s power is discovered during the struggle, and when they leave to go back to Voltura, Irina will go with them.
During all of this we will find out all about the Denali clan and all of the mysteries surrounding the Volturi.

Okay. So. I think that while Jacob is up in Canada he’ll go to Alaska for a bit, and then something will happen back in Forks/La Push (possibly Edward biting Bella) and he will come back, BUT. The Denali clan will pick up the scent of Jacob and will follow him back to La Push/Forks and the werewolves will gang up on the Cullens for breaking the treaty and the Denali clan will join with the Cullens and then the Volturi will get involved because they somehow fing out that Bellas a vampire and they will come to Forks and try to get Bella to join them because she will have an amazing power ((i have a theory that she will be able to borrow other vamps abilitys [peter petrelli!] and i think that because… when they are in pheonix in the hotel Bella says, “It was like I borrowed Jasper’s power to feel what Alice was feeling” or something like that. anyhoo, back to my other theory)) and they will also try to get Alice and Edward to join and they all refuse and this gets the Volturi mad and then, very inconveniently, Jacob will stop by, and the Volturi will get even MORE mad, and then they will try to kill the werewolves and then the Cullens and the Denali clan will team up with the werewolves and kill Jane, Marcus, and the others will surrender… then the Cullens and the Denali clan make the Volturi join their way of life and erm… yeah… not really sure how that will play out… also i think Jacob will imprint on Irina maybe… possibly one of the female Volturi… or maybe he turns out to be gay and he imprints on Aro… LOL!!! ahha
Also, i am not really sure how the wedding will turn out, but i hope it will be happy and cheerful and nothing bad will happen. Jacob will accept that Bella and Edward are happy together and Jacob and Aro will run off into the sunset together. HAHA!!!
