Hmm… Stephenie did say that the quotes would be misleading… I’m thinking that Bella says this somewhat sarcastically to Mike after he says something that Bella thinks isn’t worthwhile. Perhaps he says something about how now that Bella is with Edward, she can’t spend of the rest of her life with Mike… I’m not sure, but I do take it as a sarcastic comment..
Bella = being VERY sarcastic about having to quit working at Newton’s Sporting Goods!

I think Mike sabotaged Edward’s car so that he ‘couldn’t get to her’ and now Mike is all like Muahahaha, where’s your hunk now? And Bella is being sarcastic to Mike because she knows Edward doesn’t need a car. Poor, Mike. He’ll never win.

I think it is that Edward and bella are discussing “the change” yet again and edward says something alone the lines of “are u sure u can handle not seeing Mike again” and bella says sarcasticly “Oh, Mike! How will I go on?” It is sooo like Stephenie meyer to do that to us!!!!! TWISTED SENCE OF HUMOUR STEPHENIE SOOO NOT FUNNY!!! DON”T KEEP SCARING US!!! LOLZ:)

I really dislike mike and jacob is sooo annoying >__< i want him gone gahh! =[ i think the quote is deff. sarcastic ! mike probably said something like “but you should be with me, your not safe” and she says “oh mike how will i go on,” or whatever she said.

Hehe…who knows? Maybe Bella and Edward are discussing about the thirst of a vampire and Edward brings the whole “What if you were to kill Mike Newton?” question and speech. Then Bella probably says “Oh Mike! How will I go on?” sarcastically. Neh. who knows. It could be pure sarcasm. But I can’t help and remember that they graduated, and in August, don’t people start heading off for college? Not unless the leave the week before it starts. Just a guess.
Besides, not like we’d all sob to death if Mike dies. Nobody really gives a damn anyway, so he can go screw himself 😀
