The Twilight Appeal

Neil Miller of Film School Rejects is trying to come to terms with the Twilight movie buzz and, in his recent article, has some questions for us Twilight fans.
“So is it a teeny-bopper romance story with a vampire backdrop or is it a vampire story that just so happens to be about teenagers?”

In my opinion…. it is Pride and Prejudice meets American Indian myths. It is all the stories of love surviving everything, but with an intriguing twist. So i guess to answer you question, i think it is a love story that involves vampires and werwolves.

Same. its a love story first and foremost. It just happens to have vampires and werewolves which make it unique and interesting and not ‘just another love story’

Okay. I admit I didn’t read the whole article but I will speak about why you need to read this…This series feels like one of those true stories that just needs to be told to the world. And THANK YOU Stephanie Meyer for sharing it with us. Haha. It isn’t real though (unfortunatly).
This series is a romance/action/teen angst novel that just happens to invole mythical creatures (vampires/etc.)
I am convincing all of my freinds and family to read them. And they all LOVE them and usually they all have differnt taste in books. I have my sister (who loves like dragons and junk) reading them, my friends (who usually read like gossip girl and stuff), my aunt (who is like 40!), and even one of my GUY friends (who took a lot of convincing but loves them).
Read these books, you will not regret it!
