Okay one more comment…I think Jakes up to his old tricks again unfortunalty, Bella told him she would come at him with a bat at his suggestion when she broke her knuckle on his head in Eclipse..Even through i would prefer if Jake gave up this so called “game” over Bella’s affections, cause im on team Edward, its still really funny…!!!
omg. That just adds on to my theory. I think Charlie will find out about everything, and then he will have a heart attack, but will not die. He will be very sick and he will be told by the doctors that he only has a little while to live. Bella will be depressed and beg Carlisle to change him and he will. Then. Vampire bella and Charlie will play vamp baseball with the rest of the cullens.
Or maybe bella just gets really inresested into a regular baseball game on tv. Rofl.

Good, another quote I don’t have to worry about. I think this one means that Charlie is about to walk Bella down the aisle, to get married. At first I thought it might mean the obvious…baseball. But I don’t think Charlie will find out about the vampires if he is playing with them. Atleast not in the beginning of the book.
i have this hunch that its not baseball…it prolly for the wedding…
what if charlie gets changed into a vamp too and it *is* baseball?! that would be interesting…far fetched, but intriguing non the less

Ive always thought it was so odd that the her dad never figures out about the vampires and werewolfs. I think he finds out and they all play ball together.

Yeah I agree with the people who think it’s before the wedding. I think all the bridesmaids and the groomsmen went down the aisle so then charlie says the quote as in they’re next to walk the aisle into Edward’s arms!

That’s what I thought of too when I heard it- he’s about to walk her down the aisle.
SOOOOO, this means they get to that point of the wedding before the S**T hits the fan (because so many people think the wedding will be interupted).
Maybe the wedding will go off without a hitch then. The crazy stuff will have to wait until after the “special wedding night”- hee hee.
OME!!!!!! ahhhhh!!!!!! thank god/edward (whichever you prefer, since they are both the same), they are gonna get married, and they actually make it to the wedding day! i first thought about them playing baseball but, #1, bella doesnt play baseball and #2, you dont need 2 people to go up to bat, so taking that walk down the aisle is the only other option (thank god), so i can sleep happily tonight, although there is that possibility of the wedding being interrupted (hoping and praying that doesnt happen!)

why the heck would they actually be playing baseball? and intrigueing (sp? ^^) as it would be for Charlie to know about the vamps, i dont think he will. and… its even more far-fetched to say that he turns into a vamp… seriously.
@_@ i think SM is just giggling watching us all freak out and dream over these quotes (i am as much as everyone else) and they will probably have no huge effect in the plot. has anyone looked at the old Eclipse quotes of the day……

Thought i do agree this quote probably is just before bella and charlie walk up the aisle, when my mind first jumped to baseball i was so excited! i really want bella to be changed early on in the book so during the rest we can see her new found speed and strength and beauty etc then she can save the cullens through her special power…
though…people are saying this quote couldn’t apply to baseball as only one person bats at a time, theoretically charlie could be telling bella, (who is bored by the game and not paying attention) that their team is up to bat now, after fielding the first half..

When I was finally was more awake, I’m like aww it must be time for Charlie to walk Bella down the aisle. I bet Bella is like *in her mind- a little spacey, probably just thinking about everything* And, this is Charlie’s casual, funny way of getting Bella’s attention.

Maybe Charlie is walking her down the isle and using a play-on-words. Saying “We’re up to bat.” could mean that it’s time to walk down the isle and be the center of attention
