I don’t think Edward is saying this seriously. He’s just not the type to mess up and than just say ‘oops’ about it… I think it’s just a little unimportant comment, though I don’t have the slightest idea what it’s about.

I demand a re-quote!!! This is not going to last me 24 hours. Still, this is probably him either joking or being sarcastic, Edward isn’t the “oops” type, especially not in a serious situation. maybe its something he’s not sorry about, like rescuing Bella from Alice to spend time together before the wedding, or breaking jacob’s neck if he tries to interrupt the wedding.
So basically, this quote is so vague it could be a thousand things. However, I agree with Jo, if Edward messes up he just isn’t the type of person – er- vampire(?) to say “oops”. Especially if it’s something big like kissing Tayna or biting Bella in the wrong spot. Though him kissing Tayna was the very first thing that ran through my head, so I HOPE that’s not what he’s saying oops about.
No, I think he did something that would be humorous to us readers, like shaking Mike’s hand on the wedding day and accidently breaking all his fingers. Or, he could make Bella faint again at the alter, Edward has been known to do that from time to time, haha.

Well yeah, I honestly don’t see Edward saying “Oops” because I see him saying “I’m sorry. I’m mistaken” – that type of dealio. LOL I dunnoe. There’s really nothing to go on from here except the fact that Edward did something wrong. It could be taken lightly or it could be something more serious.
Honestly, I’d take the former because if it’s something far more grave, Edward would say something more. “Oops” just seems like the kind of thing he would say if the event weren’t serious – something trivial. Yeah… LOL. Still humorous though/
Well I don’t think he would say Oops to something that was serious. So maybe it’s from their wedding night or something and they get alil to frisky and he breaks a lamp or something by the bed. I don’t know….this is my least favorite quote or actually just word!

It does seem out of character for Edward. Though I could see him …say, accidently walking into the room where Bella is getting ready for the wedding and seeing her in her dress and saying “Oops.” as Alice scowls at him and pushes him out of the room. LoL

I think its a role-reversal. Bella said “Oops” when she “attacked” him during their first kiss. Edward might be saying “oops” because he attacked Bella in a romantic or sexual manner.
