It wouldn’t make much sense if it’s the volturi because the werewolves have experienced the volturi coming to Forks before (at the end of Eclipse).

Yeah, but Bella being a vampire IS covered in the treaty. If one of the Cullens BITE a human, they broke the treaty. And if Bella is a vamp then one of the Cullens would have to have bitten her. It would have to be someone visiting (Denali clan or the Volturi)

I think it probably has to do with Tanya’s coven coming to Forks for the wedding. Remember how Irina wanted to take down the pack because of the whole Laurent thing? I think that’s what Sam is referring to. I think Tanya’s coven is going to wreack havoc on the werewolves and make the whole town unsafe.
Those guys must be trouble.

I agree that it most likely doesn’t involve the Volturi… The treaty wouldn’t apply to THEM, right? And I don’t think it could be about Bella’s changing because the treaty already states something about how it is a violation if they feed off of or turn any human, if I remember correctly. So… I’m not sure. I think it could only refer to one of the already-existing Cullens… But what would the treaty not involve that could be dangerous if the Cullens were what Sam was talking about.
Then again, speculation will be nothing in the face of written evidence once AUGUST SECOND IS HERE!
Well… Okay… It COULD talk about the Volturi (or any other vampires) if the Cullens created a temporary alliance, which WOULD make it dangerous. GOSH! I’m EXCITED NOW! This quote is KILLING me!

My theory is that it is not at all the Volturi.
It’s Tanya and company.
It would make sense, because Tanya must already be coming to the area, for the Ah, Edward I’ve missed you thing to come into play. It’s not like they would’ve visited her, so she must have came to them.
Tanya (and crew) maybe traveled through La Push or something, I don’t know. And the pack didn’t anticipate more vamps. And yeah… Tanya’s peeps wouldn’t be banned from La Push cause they’re not part of the treaty, but on the other hand I don’t see why the pack wouldn’t just take em out. Or why Irina wouldn’t try to do the same to them…
Again, just a theory, it just seems more likely than the Volturi because I doubt even same could be that calm about them.

OMG these quotes are what keep me going!!! Another one to contemplate as I’m trying to sleep tonight….
My guess is the Volturi are paying a visit, and the pack doesn’t know which side to take. Fight with the Cullens to destroy the Volturi, as the treaty would dictate? Or break the treaty and try to bring down the Cullens AND the Volturi? Hmmmm….. with Jacob in the mix, you know it would be hard for the Cullens and wolves to collaborate, but it would be practically suicidal to go against both at once…..
Of course, it could be another idea altogether, such as Bella being changed. She WOULD be a threat to every human in the area, though if this were the case, I don’t think what Sam is saying would make much sense.
Then again, he may not be referring to the treaty of which we’re familiar. They DID speak of forming a new treaty to better fit their situation, and maybe we’re missing out on the new details of this treaty. Hmmm…so much to consider!!!
I know I went on and on but I just have so many ideas about this quote!!! Almost as many as the strip club one….. LOL! =P. I can’t wait!!! 7 days, 1 hour and counting!!!!

Alexandra, I LOVE your theory about Jacob. I was thinking about what would happen if he actually imprinted on a Vampire. xD That WOULD make things difficult.
my guess is the Volturi. i mean, they have to be in the 4th book or else it wouldn’t be the source of Bella’s change and stuff.
or maybe it IS bella’s transformation, but i don’t realy think so because bella would never stay in town after being changed…..to dangerous for her friends

I think it’s either talking about The Volturi, Denali Clan, or perhaps Jasper’s old friends coming to visit.
I’m leaning more with the Volturi, because the Denali clan are also ‘vegetarians’…but maybe they aren’t as strict about their diet as the Cullens?? Gee, what could pose a threat to everyone?? Well, the humans, at any rate.

I agree with Tava, Bella hates blood. she can smell it, which no other human can, and she gets sick when she sees/smells it. so IF bella does get changed, than i’m sure she won’t be a problem when it comes to attacking humans. i mean she might just deal with the whole blood issue when it comes to hunting animals, but i don’t think she would ever harm anyone.
But the reason i say IF she becomes a vamp is because of this. Stephenie meyer created this story and characters. yes we fell inlove and became obsessed with them, but ultimately this is her story. She knows that everyone wants bella to get married and become a vampire. she KNOWS this, yet she will finish it the way she wants to. She might pull a J.K. rowling and do the opposite of what everyone wants. Ever since deathly hallows, i don’t really get my hopes up on what i think is going to or should happen. i HOPE bella goes through with the marriage and the turning but we’ll find out in a week.
Also, i have some OTHER questions. 1. Does the fact that only alice and Jasper can use their powers on bella? my first thought that was maybe powers that hurt people can’t work on her but Edwards power doesn’t involve pain but even he can’t use is power on her.
2. i already mentioned my whole blood idea. why is it that she is the only human who can smell blood?
3……? lol there were a lot of other questions i wanted to ask and that i hope are answered in breaking dawn but i can’t remember them now :p

OMG!! right now I’m trying so hard to not start screaming! I think the only two logical answer is 1- bella gets bitten by a vamp thats not a Cullen, but a friend of a Cullen. the only problem with that theory is that bella is so intent on Edward changing her… but it would be dangerous because that means other vampires are in the area, like tanya & co… or even maybe the voultri :0!!! theory 2 (bad one)- one of the warewolves imprints on one of the vampires visiting for edward & bellas weeding(eeek!!!) the only problem is that its not very dangerous… unless you consider vampires and warewolves spending too much time together dangerous when they could kill eachother any second… ya, well this one was a hard one. lol I will definently lose some sleep over this tonight 🙂

WHEN do they release the new quote and in which time zone? (If it is released regularly which I believe it is.)
You see I live in Sweden and would like to be up at the time they post a new one even if we are 8 hours (depending on where in America you measure it from) ‘before’ you.
I like Frances’s theory, that a werewolf has imprinted on a vampire! That would explain it! Maybe…hmmm.
Only 6 more days, more like 7 for me, but only that amount of time till it’s out there. Only 6 more days…6 more days….
It might be the Volturi though. We just have to wait and see…
Hmm…well, I think it may very well involve the Volturi UNLESS Sam is nervous about the say a number of other vampires coming to Forks for the wedding? The treaty is between the Cullens and the tribe…so what happens if other visitors come along? Tanya’s coven we know are vegetarians, but that doesn’t mean the wolves are going to trust them –heck, they don’t even really trust the Cullens.
Oh man, I can’t wait till next Friday!!! This time next week the kid and I will be at a release party!! Yay!
