Okay. This can’t be about Bella. She’s already been bitten by a vampire once. She felt the physical pain, the horrible burning that the venom causes, which means that she CAN become a vampire. Just remember that she’s already been bitten people and felt the burn. And she’s affected by the physical when it comes to vampires, just not the mental.
Plus, I like Molly’s comment. It could be that Carlisle is making a joke about her klutzy condition because it it a fatal condition where Bella is concerned.
Bella WILL be a vampire people! Trust in this!!

Okay so I have this theory that Jacob will be hurt in battle against the Volturi or somthing and will need to either die or get changed. I think that Bella will be all like “Edward save Jacob!” and then Bella will have to choose between two vampires.
