  2. Kallie says:

I am soooooo sorry! I got everyone’s answers that emailed them! But if you want everyone to read your thoughts, you will want to add them to the comments!

    AGAIN… I am soooo SORRY!

  3. Sa'Misty says:

    hehehe… we don’t blame you Kallie πŸ™‚

    Totally understandable… but I don’t remember everything i sent you :S

Breaking Dawn has REALLY messed up my sleep

  4. Tiffany says:

sa’misty — i totally agree with you! haha i still can’t see straight! i’ve read it 1 whole time, and skimmed through it a few more…ahaha

  5. Kelly says:

I LOOVVVVVVVVVEEEEDDDD it! I think everything (having to do with the wedding) worked out perfectly! Maybe more! I just thought it was great! I don’t wanna say to much incase you haven’t finished it, but a-m-a-z- i-n-g! πŸ˜€

  6. paige says:

    the wedding was great

it was beautiful and sweet like most weddings but it had an intersting twist thrown into it

  7. Rachel says:

i really liked the wedding because Edward and Bella got peace and didn’t have any real problems that they had to deal with i loved it!

  8. LeeO says:

I liked the way the wedding played out and how it was written. Without giving much away in terms of spoilers, it was very much of what I *think* I remembered of my wedding. Somewhat disconnected from reality, looking at it from afar and certain things making more of an impression than others. I think it some of the strongest narrative in the book in terms of *Bella’s voice* being recognizable.

I just cannot imagine looking down the aisle and seeing Edward in a tux. That, in itself, is one pretty powerful thought πŸ™‚

  9. Jonathan says:

I thought it was good because Bella was able to open up and experience an awesome “human thing.” But I thought it would have been cooler if they went to the drive in wedding in Vegas! HAHA

  10. Amanda says:

    i loved it so much!
just the thought of edward in a tux dazzles me!
i though it was a great way to open the book, and stephenie did it in a very tasteful way.it wasnt gooey or lovey dovey, it was sweet and sincere. i loved the little jokes she put in there, as well.
i dont know how stephenie pictures her books but my mental image of the wedding was one of the best in the book.
i also loved how i was right about charlie quote
    “bells, we’re up to bat”
    hahaha

  11. Laura says:

I loved the wedding. It was very focused on Edward and Bella, she was just looking at him the whole time and it was so beautiful.

And yes, I cried when Edward said ‘I Do’.

Oh, and for the record, I really enjoyed the book! And I e-mailed you my review Kallie! πŸ™‚

  12. Michelle says:

I really liked the wedding. The focus was on Bella and Edward, the way it should be. There weren’t distractions and it went smoothly.

Some people like drama, but for Bella and Edward’s wedding I didn’t want any. They’ve worked hard to finally reach that place, and I’m glad it was not disturbed. I thought it was perfect!

  13. The REAL Mrs. Edward Cullen says:

Beautiful. A little rushed through, but I enjoyed seeing Bella dancing with Edward, and her dad, and Emmett even. I wished it could have lasted longer. I loved it. The whole borrowed garter from Alice was hilarious. It touched my heart and made me imagine and wish to see Alice and Jaspers wedding. I also laughed at how Bella blushed and was embarrassed by the traditional lowering of said garter. The whole wedding was AWESOME. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book.

xoxo, Still reeling from the shock of how AMAZING that was.

  14. Bree.J says:

    I loved it..Short and Sweet!!!

  15. Twifanatic Amanda says:

The Wedding was great and exactly how it should have been, with no interuptions I mean, except that this was the first and last time that we heard from any of her human friends in the book. I know that Breaking Dawn was about how she is giving up her old life for a new life with Edward as a vampire but I would have liked to hear something from her friends one last time. The lack of description as she was walking down the isle was a bit dissapointing as well. Overall good though! Love how Jacob manned up and came back!

  16. Bree.J says:

    LOVE THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. Marissa says:

I really, really , really like the wedding. I was a bit suprised that Stephenie Meyer actually let the wedding go almost perfectly. But of course Jacob had to come in and instead of being a good friend and let Bella get on with her life he has to try to hurt her. Otherwise I thought it was fantastic and I actually liked the little excitement with Jacob ( I thought it might be a fight with him and Edward right there ) and how Bella and Edward were able to put it in the past and still enjoy their wedding.

  18. Krys says:

i LOVE love LOVE the wedding … it was perfect … and alice was so cute setting it all up…. lol i want alice to be my wedding planner!!!

  19. Molly says:

LOVED THE WEDDING! totally appropriate for bella and edward. i even liked when jacob showed up. though it dampered the reception for a bit. but it still rocked.

  20. Sydney says:

Okay I fell bad now because all of you liked the wedding…

I mean it was really cute but there where two things I didn’t like…

    1. Renee wasn’t a part of like any of the planning and executing of the ceremnoy and reception. I thought it was kinda unrealistic because any mother would insist on having somthing to do with their only daughters wedding.

    2. I hated (!!!!!!) that Jacob just CAME back. I mean…why would Stephenie go through all that drama with him leaving to have him just come back because Edward (who he hates) asked him to. I just thought that SM would have some better reason that MADE Jacob come back.,

Sorry for being the downer. But I loved the way Bella like didn’t look into the mirror til Edward made her at the reception!

  21. Katie S. says:

I really liked the wedding, especially because no one really crashed it. But i think it could have been longer and more detailed. But it was still sooooo cute! I bet Edward looked MIGHTY FINE! haha and Jasper and Emmett! And Alice was such a good planner. I’ll get her to do my wedding!

  22. Katie S. says:

Also i LOVED how Edward got Bella’s garter off with his teeth! ome i laughed my butt off at that! haha wow

  23. Sydney says:

Haha. The REAL Mrs. Edward Cullen reminded me of somthing else that I ABSOLUTELY LOVED!

I loved the traditional removal of the garter! I wished they went into more detail about it though. DUDE….I can only imagine Edward…ookay nevermind.

    Sorry πŸ˜›

  24. Taryn says:

Not gonna lie but I would have to say that I really didn’t like it (the wedding itself). I thought there could have been more. I wanted to hear the vows being spoken, or even the little things that were being mouthed between them. I wanted to be able to feel Bella’s emotion as she said I do. I also wanted to feel more from Edward more. I always imagined him standing at the end of the aisle eyes down and when Bella finally made her appearance for him to look up and have his “breathe” taken away. I just hoped that the wedding would have been something so much more. It was really rushed in my opinion.

On the other hand, I loved the reception. I thought that was perfect. It was magical the first time Edward called Bella Mrs. Cullen. That moment made it real for me, that they were actually married. Everything about the reception was perfect for me, the dancing and eating the cake. But what really made the reception perfect was that Jacob did come. That moment made me cry. I am not on Team Jacob or Team Edward but I am Team Switzerland, so when Jacob was able to put aside he feelings to be there for Bella it was truly special. It was too bad that he got angry and screwed up that moment….but I still love the reception besides that.

  25. sissy says:

i liked the wedding! and the book for that matter…
it (the wedding) was very pretty and old fashioned, and so appropriate.
i think, even if i wasn’t in “the know”, that i would think its very… right.

i do think she could have made it a bit longer… i was really really anxious to see more of what alice did! but we know it was perfect all the same.

i dont really see jacob’s visit as an interruption, because stephenie oh-so nicely allowed bella and edward to forget about it for the wedding. and i liked how jacob came back. it was his gift for bella, and very sweet. i do agree with herself though, that if she kept her mouth shut, (jk i love bella), jacob wouldnt have blown up.

bella reacted just how i thought she would. on the verge of fainting, until seeing edward, she forgets it all. =) silly bella cullen.
this i hope stephenie would write as an extra or outtake to put on her site, in EDWARD’S point of view. i would do anything to hear his side of the wedding. it’d make me cry, i bet.

really really cant wait for the podcast. really πŸ˜‰

  26. liz says:

all i can really say is that i loved it! the entire book!

  27. *Kinsey* says:

I didn’t think it was anything I didn’t expect. There weren’t tooooo many details…it seemed like it went by really fast. I loved the reception and the jacob thing…i was like….”fight fight fight fight!!!!” hah. I wanted to smack bella in the head for giving jacob TMI !!!

!!! I can’t wait for the pod cast!! I love you guys!!!

  28. Cynthia says:

I absolutely loved the wedding scene in Breaking Dawn. Stephanie Meyer really encompassed the thoughts and emotions that are involved with a wedding. I mean seriously, she got Bella to actually cry….BELLA! But i also enjoyed the fact that there were moments of humor, so it wasn’t just a serious tone throughout the entire wedding. And I actually liked the extra dose of intensity when Jacob showed up, which I feel strenghthened the scene.

  29. Git 'r Done! (Amy) says:

I was really hoping the wedding could go off without any complications. I knew the Volturri wouldn’t show up at the wedding, because it wouldn’t make any sense. I was surprised any werewolves showed up at all. As for Jacob’s arrival, I was TOTALLY surprised! I thought he wouldn’t return until much later in the book. Edward was SUCH a good sport about giving Bella her time with him, even though it ended sourly. Thank goodness Edward and Seth were nearby. I loved they did all the traditional things, such as the “something old, something new” and the garter and all that. I wish I could read it over again, but I lent by book out!!!

  30. I really loved the wedding, but it is really hard to talk about it without no spoilers!
But I will try, I loved the way it played out and how in tune Edward and Bella where with each other and Alice did a great job with the wedding and was anyone as happy as I was when I found out that the wedding was at the Cullen’s house? I don’t know why I was so happy to find that out. I guess I always imagined their wedding in Edward’s house! Although I did feel sorry for the werewolves that came to the wedding because of the smell.
    p.s. I loved the book!

  31. iamsam757 says:

I loved, loved, loved the wedding!!! It was one of my favorite parts of the entire book. I wished she could have gone into even more detail, but it was still amazing. It was so vividly described I felt like I was there. That special person (sorry don’t want to give away any spoilers) showing up sucked. But none the less it was exactly what I’d been waiting for throughout the entire season. But all in all it was amazing!!!

  32. Bailey says:

I liked the wedding but the i didnt it was kinda bittersweet! i loved the idea i just wish she would have described the dress more and how everyone was acting in more detail and things like that but i guess that is nice cause it gives us (the readers) room for imagination. but all in all i think it was great and loved it i just wish we knew more about it

  33. The REAL Mrs. Edward Cullen says:

Now that I think about it better, I want Alice to do my wedding someday. And I want Edward to be waiting for me at the altar. I wanna dance with “Jazz” and “Em”. LOL. That wedding was amazing, like I said before.

I was so jealous of Bella throughout the whole book.

    xoxo, *sighs*

  34. Hayley says:

Not exactly. I felt like the whole wedding scene was so rushed. One second she was waking up on her wedding day and then SNAP she was getting married. It didn’t really give me time to grasp the big moment or even feel the emotion going on between edward and bella.

  35. Maria Cullen says:

the wedding was okay… i would have liked to hear more details about it like… what did edward look like?? what did the ring look like??? was emmett doing the vow thingys??? it seemed really off to me. i didn’t really like it. i wanted to know more, you know?? not just, i do, and jacob showing up.

and… what were the humans reactions to shaking edwards hand in the reception line? HUH?!?!?!

  36. Maria Cullen says:

WHAT DID THE RING LOOK LIKE?!?!?!?!?!

  37. Angie says:

I loved the wedding! I thought Bella’s attitude in Eclipse toward the wedding was so frustrating. So, I loved that as she was walking and finally saw Edward, that her whole attitude changed. I loved that she was able to realize that she needed to do this, and I loved how she reacted to Edward, and how she really just had fun. I loved that she danced, and kept dancing. I loved that Even though Jacob interupted, and caused some drama, that she was able to put it away, and continue to enjoy her day. I was so happy with her wedding. She made sure that Edward knew she was having fun, and knew she was happy she made this choice. It was GREAT!

  38. jenna476b says:

i thought the wedding was perfect because:

    1. i was so worried that bella’s personal reservations about marriage in general would ruin the experience for them in some way, but i was relieved that it was the exact opposite, she actually cried she was so happy, it was beautiful.

    2. this was kind of a small moment but i also loved that bella never looked in a mirror to see what she looked like until edward showed her in a reflection how beautiful she looked. i loved that intimate moment between them!

    3. i actually loved how SM brought jacob back to the wedding. honestly before BD i was so terrified about jake coming to the wedding, but the way it happened was perfect i thought. it wasn’t intrusive or invading in any way, it was very secret and non-scandalous.

    4. two of my favorite moments in the whole book was the night before when bella asks edward if he has cold feet and he says “i’ve been waiting a century to marry you, miss swan” my heart melted. then when edward was leaving with emmett and jasper and he tells bella that he will meet her at the alter and she says “ill be the one in white”. so lovely.

everytime edward called bella his wife or mrs. cullen i died.

  39. Lyncoln says:

Edward and Bella’s Wedding was simply….perfect! I was shocked at how soon it all happened, but it really was just how their wedding should’ve been. It was elegant, simple, and it really captured the love they share for one another. Just what Bella wanted.

Alice rocks as a wedding planner! I can only imagine what Bella’s wedding dress looked like or how the decorations were done. I found myself getting more excited than Bella. It was just incredible thinking back to all they had been through together and they were finally at this moment.

I loved how Bella was a little skeptic at first and just wanted to get it over with, but once she locked eyes with Edward, she knew she was exactly where she was meant to be.

I realized I had tears in my eyes at the exact moment Bella realized she was crying tears of joy.

The reception was great too. The moments of Edward and Bella dancing were so romantic. I wasn’t a big Jacob fan before Breaking Dawn, but when Jacob showed up and surprised Bella, my heart did a little happy flip flop. Everything was just right.

And to top it off, I LOL when Emmett through the rice at Edward’s back! Gotta love him!

So yes. Edward and Bella’s wedding was everything I had imagined it to be, if not more. πŸ™‚

  40. Sasha says:

lol I loved Everything…it was every bit I imagined and more. I love the garder thing…lol! I was so happy that when Jake showed up I screamed and sighed. I loved it! I was so happy for Bella I started dancing across the room. I want my wedding to be like that!

  41. avery says:

i personally thought the wedding was… boring

but i understand that this is a luv story not a action

i still thought there should have been more conflict…

like jacob crashin it n make a big apperance

but i guess i like the wedding DAY

    The honeymoon tho…

bella seemed a little 2 much of a sex machine…

a definite negative on her character

  42. Allie Davison says:

you guys probably remember me from the podcast as the girl who completly fell infront of the mtv cameras about to say my theory, “real-life bella” hahaha (white dress) you guys did an amazing job at it by the way!

the wedding was absolutely undeniably perfect. from her getting ready, to having charlie walk her down the aisle, to seeing edward standing up there with such passion in his eyes, to them saying I do. I can’t even believe I could even read with the tears rolling down my face!

the way SM described edward saying Mrs. Cullen I melted, literally. seriously let’s picture this for a moment : EDWARD CULLEN staring down at you with nothing NOTHING, but absolute love and passion in his eyes. waiting for his soulmate for over a hundred years and finally getting what all of his family has and what he truely deserves. being able to call you his and only his forever and ever and ever. if I were bella holy mother esme I would have exploded with love.

of course jacob does something, who would have thunk it right?
all in all the wedding was what they both deserved, perfect bliss.

  43. Alejandra says:

I really loved the wedding & the entire BOOK!!

  44. Allie Davison says:

^^ same girl as the post before, but I forgot one thing….

when they both are saying goodbye and bella goes up to charlie and says. “I love you forever, Dad. Don’t forget that.” charlie then says “You too bells, Always have, always will.” pg. 73

talk about tear stains left on the page from how many tears were waterfalling down! that right there shows just how much of a strong father-daughter bond they have, even without many words.

  45. Emily says:

    Hey Guys!
    Love the podcast.
Alright so enough of that, here’s my answer
Me, being one of the younger readers and listeners(in this case) ,has to look at it from what everyones’ “Childrens’ “point of veiw, heres’ my chance to prove them wrong:
I thought that the wedding was great.
    Not anything anyone had expected.
Now, lets face it we where all reading the wedding part of the book intenly waiting for either the wolves or the volturi to break through the door and scream, “I OBJECT” Heck, it could have been Mike Newton for all I care but, I and I’m sure from your “theories” you where expecting this too.
Well, here is the wedding that went on without a hitch.
    Definately not what I expected.
I was of course surprised but then again, it was Stephanie Meyer writeing this book so obviously she would throw the most unexpected thing posible at us.
So, I really ended up likeing the wedding I thought Alice did a great job of shapeing the wedding around the “ring” (wink, wink) that Edward proposed with showing the old fashion style that both of them love(well, at least in most parts of their realationship((Again, wink wink)) Even though Bella was nervous throughout the whole wedding at least she was happy, and when has Bella ever not been nervous about something? So wedding= Great! Props to alice
Reception= Well, the action we had all been waiting for. Even if it was just a little dance with Jacob and him getting a tad upset about “Bedward” it was what I had expected. I just thought that Stephanie could have put a little bit more detail into it.
But, after all what else would Bella be thinking about when she was getting married to Edward Cullen?
    Love you guys,
    Your Faithful Listener,
    Emily<33
P.S. I am a huge Emmett fan so I was laughing so hard when I came to the part about the garner and Emmet and Jasper hooting! Gotta love them.
P.P.S Take that for a “Childrens'” answer!
P.P.P.S sorry the whole Jake, Leah imprinting thing didn’t happen πŸ™

  46. Teri says:

I liked the wedding. It was cute. I would have liked to see some more interaction with the guests. I think there was some room for a bit of comedy there. But oh well..

  47. Liz says:

I thought the wedding was great! It was one of the only parts of the book that I enjoyed. Though, I did feel that it was a little rushed. I wished that things might have slowed down a bit because it was a very big moment for Bella and Edward’s relationship.

  48. Melissa says:

    I loved the wedding.

The reason: It did not happen at all like anyone expected. Or at least a majority thought there would be some type of conflict or interruption or that it would be more detailed or just ..more. but it wasnt it was a complete shock to me at least and that made me love it.

The one reason that I loved it was because it was very “bella” for me, for it to feel rushed and dazed.

She for the first time see’s this is a way to keep Edward forever in a binding way, see’s marraige as a positive and I thought that was beautiful and made up for all the shock I felt at the lack of conflict, it was worth it to have bella know that.

I was not surprized at the reception when Jake came, I thought that it was totally in character for him to come to be there for her, have a perfect moment and then one of them to say something that would cause a fuss, because they are Jake and Bella of course, and thats how they roll (lol)

I did love however later when he said maybe his “gig” should be making cameos at weddings, very funny πŸ˜€ and a happy part was that even that did not distract her from her perfect big day!! πŸ™‚

So after all that nonscense I leave you with the short answer: I loved the wedding because Bella came to realize how wonderful it was to feel a happy tangable connection to someone else and have it mean so much for the both of you, that weddings could be perfect if you had someone to love you. (awwww)

    πŸ™‚ melissaturkey

  49. Jessie says:

I thought the wedding was perfect. I mean I am glad the vows went well and everything. I am super glad that jacob wasnt there to object, but I dont think the wedding would have been complete unless he had come and Bella and him got into an argument.

I would have to say that I am a little upset that Bella didnt really get to see herself. Although it did allow me to imagine the way she looked any way I wanted really.

Im just glad they finally got married!

    TEAM EDWARD!, always and forever

  50. Katherine in Sunny San Diego says:

    The wedding was great!!

But I think Bella should have been able to know about her own honeymoon!

TEAM EDWARD ALL THE WAY!!!!!! (i also like renesmee!!)
