For this week’s Question of the Week we wanted to ask you a question about our celebrity couple Jassie!
How do you feel about Jacob imprinting on Renesme? And, as a personal favor… when did you figure out Jacob had imprinted?

Don’t get me started…oops already did!
Okay I really wasn’t happy about Nessie(who’s a monster!) even being born! First off it was supost to be impossible for Bella do get PG but she did! I wasn’t very happy with Jacob*UGH!* either. He just left Leah hanging there on a tree limb to let her fall off it! UGH! I was of corse speed*zip* reading when I came across the chapter of Jacob! And Kallie,Linsey! STOP MAKING FUN OF KASSIE! I WAS ALSO NOT GETTING THAT HE IMPRINTED!*vamp roar!* i found out when Bella it and I was oh so ready to thourgh my book across the room! But I didn’t(would have borken somethin). Though SM did say that MAYBE just MAYBE that she would write a book in Leah’s POV or story<33333 She just can’t leave Leah dangling out there!!!!! But I loved some parts of BD but mostly wanted to thourgh it agianst the wall. I love Kate and Garrett(sorry about spelling).

I have to admit I didn’t understand that Jacob imprinted on Nessie either, not until the next day. So don’t feel bad Cassie, I’m sure we’re not the only ones! I think it was because I was really tired when I stopped reading at that part so I just didn’t catch that. I felt quite silly the next day because still, it is quite obvious. But back to the real question. Well, my initial rection was “OH NO WAY” and I didn’t quite like it, but now it’s grown on me and I’ve started to like it more. If you think about it, she will eventually grow up and age until she’s about the same age as Jacob and then it’s going to be all good. Anyway, we know Jacob’s not thinking of her in any other way than a protective brother so I don’t really see any problem there.

At first I was so mad that Jacob imprinted on Nessie because it felt like he was trying to take her away from her parents, but after awhile I was fine with it. I’m mostly just glad that Jacob and Bella can be friends without it being weird anymore. I think it is a little weird that a werewolf imprinted on a half-vampire, but Jacob and Nessie are great together.
I figured out that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee as soon as it started talking about how gravity wasn’t holding him anymore, Nessie was.
I like it and I don’t like. The reason why I like it is because really it was only a matter of time that Jaocb was going to imprint. I had the theory that Jaocb would imprint on the baby since we found out that Bella was pregnant (I also thought that Bella was going to get pregnant). The reason why I didn’t like it was because Bella couldn’t feel jealously towards her own daughter for being with Jacob.
And I did understand that Jacob had imprinted on Nessie.
P.S. Breaking Dawn was not my favorite book. I liked Eclispe the best. But I did like Book 3: Bella.

and i figured out when he didnt kill her bc he hated her how cld he instantly not have this desire to kill her?
I love the fact that Jacob imprinted on Bella’s daughter!!! It’s sweet. Because first Jacob was in love with Bella, which annoyed the sugar out of me, and then he imprinted on Bella’s daughter, which didn’t annoy me as much! I actually found out when Bella did! 🙂 lol.
I was so excited to for this podcast, however I was nervous to hear that Kassie had just finished the ‘Jacob’ book. I, like her, did not know that Jacob imprinted in his final chapter. I was worried that she would be spoiled and she was. At the end of the chapter I thought that it was the spell of the vampire baby that had overcome him. I didn’t figure it out until (i don’t have my book cause I lent it to a friend so I don’t have the page number or chapter, about 44 pages later or so) Edward or Carlisle told Bella that Jacob was still at the house and that he hadn’t left. Then I was like “NO WAY! HE DID NOT IMPRINT ON HER! WHAT THE CRAP!” I was in complete shock and I then went back to the end of the jacob book and re-read it and understood. I also want to add that a couple of my friends didn’t realize it until Bella was talking to Jacob (which waspriceless) I wanted Jacob to get his happy ending and imprint and I am fine with it being with Renesme. Had Stephenie not put in the bit about Quil and Claire I would be singing a different tune. That bit of foreshadowing makes perfect sense in retropect. I LOVED the Jacob chapters. The chapter titles are CLASSIC! I had not been the biggest supporter of his until I read his perspective. It was wonderfully written and SO funny. I can honestly say that I’m a Jacob fan now and I am going buy a jacob t-shirt and not be ashamed to wear it.

as soon as I read the line where Jacob says that he was no longer shaking and he wasn’t hot but he was glowing I knew he had imprinted. but at first I couldnt believe it at all! and I was honestly a little confused because I didnt understand how that would work with renesmee being half vampire but then the more I thought about it the happier I was. because this fixed everything in a very unique and creative way. now Jacob who was 10 minutes earlier yelling at the girl he loved to stay with him got to stay with bella in a way that made it so bella didnt have to feel guilty for hurting him so much. so this was a positive thing for Jacob and bellas friendship( once bella got over her immediate and hilarious reaction). Jacob imprinting on renesmee also opened the door for a better and stronger friendship between the wolves and the vampires because one of them was now tied to a 1/2 vampire.
I am team Edward all the way but I have always really liked Jacobs character in the series and I have to give MAJOR props to stephenie meyer for creating such a happy and satisfying end for Jacobs character

I thought Jacob imprinting on renesmee was absolute perfection and I was once again astounded at stephenie meyers sheer brillance. I love it for a number of reasons:
1. I liked that even thought Jacob no longer loved bella in the same way as he did before he imprinted on renesmee it was like in some small ways he was still holding on to his love for her. I saw this when the first thing he noticed about renesmee was that she had the same chocolate brown eyes as bella who he then thought to be dead. 2. I also really liked the idea that now Jacob also had his chance at a “happily ever after” too. This made me happy after the chapter when he went to the park and tried to imprint because to me (a Jacob lover but 100% team Edward) this was very sad and just made me want Jacob to have someone that he could cherish as much as bella and Edward cherished each other.
3. Jacob and renesmee was also positive in that it made renesmee even more special in the context of the plot because before she was born renesmee was the one who was tearing people apart ( Edward by watching bella die and Jacob forming his own pack) and after Jacob imprints on her she becomes the one strong thread ( or as Jacob called her a steel cable) that holds the alliance between the wolves and the vampires as strong as ever.
As I said before stephenie meyer is one of the most talented authors whom I have ever read and I was truly beyond happy with the way that she tied the saga up into a neat little bow of happily ever after. Ando cant wait to read anything else she comes out with in the future.( and I’m really sorry my response was so long)
Honestly, I have mixed feelings on the entire thing. I’m quite happy he imprinted on Renesmee, because he isn’t pining over Bella and he’s not in pain over not having her anymore.
The only thing that I find kind of iffy about Jacob imprinting on Renesmee is that she is Bella’s daughter. Let me explain; I had wanted Jacob to completely let go of Bella by the end of Breaking Dawn, you know, so the poor guy would be pain-free and happy. And when he imprinted on Renesmee, a part of me was like, “Yes! Jacob can be happy!” But now that he has imprinted on Bella’s daughter, its kind of like he’s not really letting go of Bella, because she has all of the traits as Bella. Does that make sense? I mean, I know imprinting is more powerful than love at first sight, but for some odd reason I can see Jacob always having feelings for Bella. Does that make sense? Or is it completely stupid? I really want to know what you guys think!
Actually, I did not really realize he had imprinted until a few pages after he had. I was like, “Woah what !” And then I went back and re-read it, and it finally clicked. So don’t feel bad Kassie! 🙂

I like that Jacob imprinted on Renesme. It’s cool because everyone gets to stay close and everyone gets a little happily ever after. I’m glad that this happend because now I don’t have to lose any of my favorite characters. I knew that Jacob imprinted at the end of his book.
I’m quite happy that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee. swans imprint on there young so why no Jake on balla’s baby. I figure out Jacob had imprinted as soon as he sow the Baby.
I liked the whole Jacob-imprinting-on-Renesme thing. I don’t think imprinting like that is weird at all, but that may be because I was familiar with the term “imprinting” before I ever read the Twilight series. It’s a natural phenomenon and I learned about it through psychology, although it is studied in other disciplines as well.
As far as when I figured it out, I have to say it didn’t hit me until later, when it was spelled out for me. I read the book super fast (1 day), so I didn’t pick up all the details. I couldn’t stop myself from rushing through each page to get to the next one and find out what happens. At the end of book Jacob, I was so focused on Bella, I didn’t really pay attention to what he was doing. I was mad at Jacob for leaving Bella, because I wanted to find out what happened, so when he went down the stairs, my attention stayed upstairs. I vaguely remember reading the imprinting section, knowing something weird was going on, but not being able to focus on it. I made a mental reminder to read that section more carefully the second time around. Now that I have, I can’t believe I missed it!
Well, I am so team Kassie on the whole imprinting thing. I didn’t figure it out until Bella finds out, but while waiting for the next podcast I decided to read Jacob’s book again. That’s when I realized “Oh Duh! There he is imprinting on Renesme!” but I had no idea the first time around. As for Jacob imprinting on Renesme I thought it was totally cute. I really had no idea how Stephenie was gonna fix the whole “Bella and Jacob” thing (cuz I am so Team Edward) I wanted Jacob to find someone else and be happy, but still be friends with Bella. I am totally glad with the outcome. I would love to read something about Jassie story in the future. You know with Renesme all grown up, maybe Jacob in college, whatever as long as it’s about their relationship.

I love that Jacob imprinted on Nessie!!! It makes me feel less guilty about wanting Bella to be with Edward. I’ve always been on Team Edward, but I definitely still like Jacob. Ever since New Moon he’s been a character that I feel like I can relate to with his obviously hopeless crush on Bella, so I’m happy to see things work out for him. It even makes sense. Maybe, the reason he always loved Bella is because his soul responded to how similar her soul was to Nessie’s. It’s also not like Nessie is a human that will die or take a long time to grow up. In seven years she’ll be old enough to fall in love with Jacob in a serious way. Until then, I’m happy that, not only will Nessie have the best big brother ever, Jacob isn’t just going to leave us heartbroken.
As to when I found out he imprinted on Nessie, I knew the minute he lost the world around him. Only something as strong as imprinting would cut him off from the pain he’d felt “losing” Bella. (Sorry Kassie! I can totally see how someone could miss that, especially if they don’t like Jacob so much. This may just be something you need to have sympathy for Jacob to have understood right away.)
Dont feel down Kassie I had to read “You imprinted on my baby” twice and i screamed i was like wtf that doesnt even work right cuz:(okay edward can read there minds one day when nessie is a big girl the hormones will take over and edwards fatherly instincts will take over after hearing them and jake will be dead.) Okay, first, let me say THANK YOU for making the BEST Twilight podcast… EVER!!!! You guys ROCK! Me, Christi, and my friend Alayna, were inspired to make our own Podcast! (Unfortunately, our mothers wont let us….. :-P) I am so glad that Jake (or Jacob, whichever is preferred) imprinted on Nessie, because A) that way, Rosalie wont have a reason to kill Jacob and the pack cant kill the Cullens
B) now Jacob (or Jake) loves Bella the right way
C) Everything is in balance.
I realized right away that he had imprinted on Renesmee because it just seemed OBVIOUS that he did! Well, in my opinion it did. I really want to kno more about the Jassie relationship. I really hope Stephanie Meyer will change her mind and write another twilight series book, ONLY after she wrote the other books, like Midnight Sun and stuff. erm, it wuz weird but u just new dat somebody had to go with jacob or bella wold never be left alone
I think that jacob imprinting on nessie allowed the relationship that bella wanted with him to happen i think she was relived and obviously upset because he found the one person he couldent be without was her own daughter . even if it is her daughter she knows that he is finally happy and he will be happy she also wants the best for Renesmee and she can tell that they already have an ubreakable bond and that they belong together. I completly understand why bella is so pissed because nessie has spent so much more time with jacob. and bella hasnt been able to really have that first moment as a mom because jacobs imprinting on nessie and her becoming a vampire didnt allow it and to me that really sucks to if i just had a kid and she knows someone more than her own mother but it turns out that all nessie wants is bella and that helps her to accept the fact that nessie and jacob are inseperable and it turns out to be the family that she always wanted so its kinda a win win situation and i think that it was good for jacob and bella to have closure on the really akward your just a friend but i know you want to be more than that type of relationship and now the both have the person they cant live without and they have forever to be together.
I will admit, at first I was disappointed because I thought it was too easy a way to give Jacob his happy ending. But as I read it, I thought it was really adorable, the way he was drawn to her regardless of her being half-vampire and in a room filled with vampires. That is an amazing love. Also, it made me appreciate Jacob more. In Eclipse I was annoyed at how Jacob kept relentlessly pursing Bella, regardless of her feelings. Since, he was fated to imprint on Renesmee, it made sense that he would have a strong pull toward Bella and that he wouldn’t realize what exactly that incredible force was. I can’t fault him for his fate.
I was reading at the speed of light when Breaking Dawn came out, so of course I missed some of the foreshadowing. However, it made a nice surprise when I realized that Jacob imprinted. I realized it as soon as he said that the center of gravity changed (the last page of Jacob’s book).

All I can say is FINALLY! He was so misserable when Bella chose Edward. And this is strange for me because im an Edward fan! (I ♥ Edward!!) So this is strange to feel sorry for Jacob. But I did think Bella’s reaction to Jacob imprinting was Hillarious! But Im very happy for Jacob and am glad that there will be someone out there to protect Rennesme even though she’s part vampire. And I figured out Jacob had imprinted when he looked at Rennesme and got that floating feeling. By the way this is my faviorte podcast EVER!
Well its a little weird that Jacob imprinted on Bella’s daughter, Renesmee because it was thought that Jacob had romantic feelings for Bella. Although, I am really happy that Jacob found his true love. I realized that Jacob had imprinted on Renesmee when Bella did. I thought in the end of Jacob’s book that he was seeing Renesmee the way Bella did.
Honestly, the moment that it was revealed that Bella was pregnant I just went “Oh, god.. This is gonna be good.” and smiled really big because it just all clicked. Also, I really loved that there was part of the story in Jake’s POV, it made me just absolutely fall in love with him, knowing exactly what he was going through and all. To be honest, I kind of avoided rereading New Moon for quite a while because I didn’t quite know what to think of Jake, but now… Love him just as much as everyone else. But really, what Renesmee? It’s like bad Harry Potter epilogue flashbacks, name shortage and all. Nessie is the cutest nickname of all time tho!
i think it’s good that jacob won’t be hurting over bella anymore, and yeah it’s a little weird bu it’s not like he thinks of renesmee in a romantic way yet. And i figured it out when he saw her eyes for the first time.
I think that it is awesome that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee, but its wierd you know. Its like how is Jacob going to explain to Renesmee “Hey I was in love with you mom you know and then when she was pregnant with you I hated you because I thought you were going to be a monster, but I saw you for the first time and my world revovles around you now.” I mean I know he’s not “in love” with her now, he’s just her protector and I think that’s sweet. Stephenie Meyer did a great job in showing the protective nature like an uncle or father would for their child when she comes to Jacob and Renesmee’s relationship. And you can see that Renesmee is in some way in tune to Jacob because when Renesmee shows Bella what she dreaming the faces she dreams of the most are Bella’s and Jacob’s, which is really cute.
I first noticed that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee was “The gravity of the earth no longer tied me to the place where I stood. It was the baby girl in the blond vamprie’s arms that held me here now. Renesmee.” I was like OMG AND OMJ (Oh My Jacob), I might be slow but I never thought they were going to be together before this moment. I mean when I think back about it Bella always said her and Jacob were meant to be together just not in the true love way. So Bella’s (after the first shock hits of Jacob imprinting on Renesmee, and getting use to the fact) wish or prediction came true and the can live happily ever after with who their MEANT to be with.

i love the fact that jacob imprinted on renesmee! jacob has been hurtng for far too long, and the way he took it out on everyone else was really getting on my nerves. it’s nice to finally be able to see him happy again. also, it allows jacob to be a part of bella’s life without the complicated romantic connection between the two. of course they will always love each other in a special way that only they understand, but now they can at least live in peace. and come on, wouldn’t it make sense for jacob to imprint on someone directly related to bella? i can’t believe i didn’t see it coming!
kassie – don’t worry. i didn’t get that he imprinted until a bit into book 3. i called my friend who had finished the book and said “why is he acting so weird about renesmee?” then later, before it was officially stated that this had occured, i called her back and said “oh my god he imprinted on renesmee didn’t he!?!?!” i totally didn’t understand what was happening until i went back and read it a second time – then it hit me like a ton of bricks.

That was the point in the book like a beacon of light in the dark where the imprinting became clear. I felt so bad for all 3 of you on that podcast, but I almost peed my pants driving home with my four kids. Now what kind of role-model would that make me???

I thought it was insane when Jacob imprinted on Renesme! It was a very nice twist in the book though that made all the loose ends come together. To me it made sense why Jacob had pretty much been in love with Bella from the begining because Renesme was still a part of Bella. Wowza!!!!!! Beat that Quill. I personally am a team Edward girl all the way, when Bella found out I was hoping she would do more damage on Jacob not Seth. I figured out that Jacob had imprinted on Renesme for a fact when it went to Bella’s story again, but I sort of thought maybe in Jacobs, I just thought it was too far out though. This along with many other reasons is why Breaking Dawn is my favorite. I think Stephanie Meyer should deffinatley consider making a 5th book, or a Renesme and Jacob series. Your Podcast is GREAT!!!!!
first of all i didnt even know that jacob had imprinted on nessie till they said it later on in the book (dont wrry kassie ur not the only one.) btw it was hilarious when you hung up because they told you that jacob had imprinted. At first i wasthinking that what is it with these freaky werewolves and infants i mean come on. but after i thought about it for a while i realized that nessie couldnt have had a better protector than jacob and plus who doesnt want a boyfriend whos 108.9 and turns into a giant dog i mean so cool right? but what was getting me worried was jacob has to grow up sometime and he will end up dying obviously not anytime soon but whats going to happen then. I was wondering (even though stephenie isnt writing another sequel) do u think jacob would let them turn him into a vampire so he could be with nessie forever i dont know whether he would want it but i think he loves nessie that much would he? what do u guys think (god could u imagine jake as a vampire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
When I found out Jacob imprinted on Renesmee I was shocked. I couldn’t believe what Jacob had done. Then after rereading it several times I realized that it wasn’t on purpose. And since it made Jacob happy with out Bella, and let her be happy with Edward, I was sort of cool about it. Although, it still ticked Bella off, it was actually kind of funny that it happened on a half vampire baby who was Bella’s daughter. This made me wonder though, if he imprinted on her because she was half of Bella, the person he thought he loved.
I actually found out that he imprinted on her in the 2nd book of Bella in Breaking Dawn. So don’t feel stupid Kassie, your not the only one!

When Jacob looked into those chocolate eyes….the balloon took off and he was gone! Sorry…I knew it too!
At first, the whole imprinting on a child/baby really grossed me out and then I had to look at it as an over protective uncle…..so day it may come to something but I didn’t have to think about that part yet.
Wasn’t really a shock of the imprint between Jacob and Nessie. This was the whole reason why Jacob and Bella were connected through book 2. Before she was pregnant the dream of the boy vampire and her instinct to protect him was a big clue. Once she was prgnant and the unborn child grew like Jacob was there any doubt of him imprinting on the child.
I wonder also if Stephanie Meyer implied something about Bella’s ancestors – all the other wolves in the pack imprinted with other family of their tribe. How does bella fit in?

Great question of week! I was so hoping you would ask because I am wondering if anyone else had this thought below:
I didn’t immediately know that Jacob had imprinted. I am surprised at the amount of people who seemed to know right away. In the beginning of Breaking Dawn, Bella begins to have dreams about a child that she desperately wants to protect. She then remembers a story that Carlisle told them about child vampires and their danger. It seems that one of the reasons they (child vampires) were able to cause so much destruction is that they were EXTREMELY enchanting and those who came in contact with them were mesmerized and wanted to protect them. When I read Jacob’s reaction to Renesmee I thought he had come under the “vampire child spell” and had fallen victim to the charms that Carlisle spoke of when relating those tales to Bella. Imprinting was not the obvious answer to his reaction to Renesmee because it could have been a result of some type of enchantment. I am not sure if that makes sense, but it was my immediate thought NOT imprinting. Thank you. A huge fan of y’all!
I love that Jacob has imprinted on Renesmee. It explains why Jacob always had such a strong atraction to Bella.
I knew from the seccond that Jacob laid eyes on her that he had imprinted.
Truthfully I still find it weird that he imprinted on Renesmee. I knew something was going to happen with him and the baby but its just weird. I knew he did as soon as he looked in her brown eyes!
Ok, personally, on that whole subject, I find it kind of creepy. I mean, its like Embry and that other little girl… It makes me think… it just makes me think. It’s kinda of cute and all that, but I think I would react just like Bella had.
I have nothing against Jake imprinting on Nessie. I actually find it comforting. It explains why Jake always was so attracted to Bella. It ‘s going to be weird to talk to Renesmee later on about how he loved Bells and how thought of her. I actually think the relationship is ironic. A half vampire/human and a werewolf? They’re like natural enemies and to have that combination is kind of weird. I always think about how they’re supposed to stink to each other…I can’t help it! It is pretty sweet that Jake and Bella did end up in each others lives as family. That made me really happy. Um, I hate to admit it but I was slow on the imprinting thing. I figured out that Jake had imprinted on Renesmee like two sentences before Bella did! I thought it was that thing that Carlisle had talked about with the attention grabbing of the immortal children. Rose/Blondie seemed so absorbed by Renesmee that it kind of strengthened my resolve. I was actually shocked that people caught on so quickly. I do see their point of view though. I feel like a big dummy b/c it took me so long but I did rush my first time reading the book and in my second time reading I did catch it. When I found out I exploded just like Bella did, but I was actually happy! I was so relieved that Jake had found someone. I am strictly team Edward but I still felt happy for Jacob and I thought could could finally leave Bella and Edward alone. Then unfortunately, I remembered that Nessie was Bella and Edward’s daughter and I felt really uncomfortable. But as the book went on I was jubilant because eveything worked out and they had their own happy endings.
P.S.-Well not really endings b/c they’re like all immortal but I think you get the idea!

JASSIE!!! I think the imprinting is really weird but really creative and cute at the same time. I instantly knew that Jacob had imprinted on Renesmee when Jacob stopped himself from killing Rosalie and Renesmee after he left Bella with Edward in the “hospital room”… He had that unusual gravity pull toward her (renesmeee) and had all the syptoms of the ordinary WIS (Werewolf Imprinting Syndrome) …..hehe…..It’s totally awesome because now Jacob and Bella can be friends and not the awkward love yet not in-love couple. Now he will stop kissing Bella and let Edward and Bella be the couple we all are envious of……Jacob and Renesmee can be together for a REALLLLLLY long time and Edward and Bella FOREVAAAA!!!

i thought it was. . fitting. i dont know how to explain it, there jacob is, positively broken and emotionaly torn because the girl he loved just died, then he sees Renesmee and he forgets the world. He was just completely reborn anew and had a sudden purpose to live. in that moment that he looked at Renesmee, he felt more emotion than he ever showed for Bella, and that’s when i knew. Jacob gets to have the pieces of Bella that he’s always loved and gets to know that he’ll have her forever, with Bella, he was never really sure of what she felt for him so he truly couldnt be blissfully in love, deep down he always knew she would always love Edward. With Renesmee, both he and her are guaranteed happiness, even if he cant lust for her like he would Bella, he would still be happy with just making her happy.
Wow. Who knew Stephenie would break all the rules? Renesmee and Jacob are the perfect match (aside from the fact that she’s several years younger than him). Jacob had to have been hurting when Bella got married, but when Renesmee came along, Jake forgot all his regrets. Still, it’s kind of weird that Bella is Jacob’s mom-in-law…
I realized that Jake had imprinted on Nessie when he was so reluctant to leave her, and when Bella shouted at him, that just confirmed it. Hopefully Jacob and Nessie avoid discussions about Jake’s life – it would sound more than a little weird if he told her, “Oh, I kissed your mom…”
I definitely suspected that Jacob would imprint on Nessie when she was born. And as we found out in Breaking Dawn, she will more than likely never grow past 7 yrs old chronologically (like the 1/2 vampire 1/2 human boy that Alice found and brought to the final confrontation who was actually over 150 yrs old I think). That means that Jacob will live forever and always protect Nessie for eternity…along with Edward, Bella and the rest of the family of course. He will not have an adult relationship with Nessie…he will always be her protector and friend because she will never grow to adult maturity. Jacob explained that aspect in one of the other books when he was explaining his pack member’s imprint on the two yr old little girl. He said he would be her friend and protector until she was old enough to fall in love with him as an adult. At that time, he would have the choice to age along with her and eventually die with her. That would not be the case for Nessie and Jacob since she will not become and adult technically…so Jacob will always be her friend and protector.
This might sound weird, but right when I found out that Bella was pregnant, I knew that if it was a girl, Jacob would imprint on her. It would add lots of drama and complicates things, and I figured Stephenie would like that, as it would really spice things up. But still, I found it pretty weird. I also thought maybe I was wrong in thinking he would imprint on her because Stephenie made it sound very out of the ordinary. I seem to recall it was a big deal within the tribe when Quil imprinted on Claire. For Stephenie to have Renesmee be imprinted upon by Jacob when she was just born AND have Quil imprint on Claire when she was 2 years old seemed a bit over the top, since it is so rare to imprint on a baby. So, I was kind of torn between thinking “No way, no how does Jacob imprint on Bella’s baby” and “Oh, it’s so obvious that’ll happen!”.
I like it that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee because I felt bad for Jacob when all the other pack members were imprinting, and he felt left out because he hadn’t imprinted on anyone, and now that Jacon imprinted on Renesmee, he has something to look forward to in his future. Once I read the last page of Jacob’s story, I automatically knew that Jacob had imprinted on Renesmee, but I was still shocked. I know this sounds weird, but if they decide to have babies when Renesmee is older, I can’t wait to see if the babies are going to be one third, human, one-third vampire, and one third werewolf/shapeshifter. That could get interesting.
i figured it out by the time bella saw how jacob was looking at renessme. i think it would be hard to handle if a eight foot “teddy bear” fell in love with ur baby! i cant blam bella for getting very upset at jacob but she has to under stand that its really not jacobs fault its a pack thing. well i love the saga! bye♥kaite
I have always been fine with the wolfs imprinting with little kids.My friends think its creepy but we have been told that they dont see them in a romantic ways.I think it is kind of in a way motherly how they are so devoted to that person and they will always love them.I’ve always thought Quil imprinting on Claire was cute and when we finally got to see him with Claire i thought was the cuitest thing. I think if he would have not imprinted he would not have gotten over Bella and then his life would have been horrible and nobody wants that (cough Kallie). I am so happyhe imprinted on Nessie.It makes total sense that Jacob would fall in love with Bella. Because Nessie is Bella with 24 chromosomes which is the same amount as the big dog. I knew right away that Jacob imprinted. I pulled a all nighter and it was about 3 in the morning in my room which is in between my parents and my brother’s room. i read the last page. Read it again and again. and finally fell of my bed and was just laying on the floor of my room. Then rolling around the floor going crazy.(then my mom came in and told me to go sleep, but i didn’t) Sorry Kassie but it was very obvious because SM discribed Imprinting in either New Moon or Eclipse (when Quil inprinted) as the world revolving around that person and Jacob said that the world was revolving around that one perfect being so sorry but Kally and Lindsey didnt ruin anything.SM ment to let us know he imprinted at that moment.
Its not that bad the good thing about it is that after all his not going to be alone and with Bella’s daughter he will have part of her after all.
