Who are you most excited to see in the movie?

This week our question is very complex, but we think that you can handle it! We want to know who you think is the best actor for their character… We also want to know who you will have the hardest time relating to in the movie… So here goes…
Which actor are you most looking forward to seeing portray their character in the movie Twilight? Why?
Also, who are you going to have the hardest time relating to as they play your favorite character from Twilight? Why?
I’m most looking forward to Robert Pattinson’s performance. Edward is such a deep, complex character and I’m excited to see how he takes on that whole persona. The character I am most having trouble relating to is Taylor Lautner as Jacob. He’s cute, but he isn’t what I imagined Jacob as. I won’t judge him based on my interpretation of “my” Jacob though, so I’m anxious to see if he can pull it off. I’m rooting for him!
I would like to see Rob’s performance, being Edward .
But also I like to know how lautner is going to pull it off in this movie, because if they film New Moon i like to see how they going to make him taller and stronger. If he’s not going to be in new moon I like to see steven strait.
I am excited to see every actor in the movie. I know they will all do awesome. I’m really excited to see Alice the most cause she is my favorite character. She is so beautiful and I love her talent and personality. Ashley ‘Green will be perfect for her. I can’t wait to see Edward too. I hope I get the swoon and drool factor the whole movie for him.
I am very excited about the movie, though I don’t really have a specific person I’m looking forward to seeing. Honestly, I haven’t even heard of any of the actors beyond Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. So, I am looking forward to seeing Carlisle and Alice come alive on the screen, but I also am anxious to see how Robert handles Edward. His character seems more challenging than the others, especially after reading the released chapters of Midnight Sun (yes, I did. I now wish I hadn’t, but I just can’t get enough Twilight!). Also, as I said before, I am looking forward to the Cullens as a whole, because they (other than Alice and Carlisle) come off to me as very two-dimensional (which is very obvious after you read Midnight Sun, honestly), and I am hoping that they are fleshed-out well on the screen.
I am having touble deciding whether Im seeing the portrayal of Bella or Edward. As fas as Bella I am looking forward to seeing Kristen Stewart’s performance because I want to see if she really takes on the personality of Bella and how well she does it. I think she will do well, but I am still looking forward to it.
And I am also looking forward to seeing Robert Pattinson’s portrayal of Edward since at the moment I can only visualize him as Cedric. I want to see if he is able to take on that very mysterious bi polar part of Edward. So yeah.
Obviously i am looking forward to seeing Robert in the movie however, Edward is not the character i want to see portrayed most, this is due to the fact i already know Robert will do the role of Edward justice. I am really excited to see Ashleys Portryal of Alice as i want to see if she can bring my favorite character to life.
I’m very much looking forward to the movie.
I can’t wait to see Rob and Kris’s portrayal of Edward and Bella.
I’m still a little worried about how Taylor plays out as Jacob. I have hope for him though.
I guess with him, I’m just a little worried about how he’ll do New Moon jacob (if the sequals are done)
As much as I am looking forward to seeing Robert Pattinson (isn’t everyone?!) portray Edward, I am looking forward to seeing a couple others: I am excited to see Esme and Charlie (two of my faves!), and of course, the rest of the Cullens.
I have to say that Emmett is my favorite character and I think Kellan Lutz is really cute. He’s going to be the one that the guys in the crowd identify with, he’s funny and he kicks butt. I’m also curious how Alice and Jasper are going to be portrayed on the big screen. I can’t wait for a scene with one of them to be released.
I am very excited to see Robert Pattison’s portayal of Edward because I want to see his rendition of the character with the extra benefit of having read Midnight Sun. I refuse to read Midnight Sun until it is published.
I am also exicted to see Taylor Lautner’s portrayal of Jacob, as I know he has been busy working out to meet all of the expectatons that surround the character of Jacob in New Moon. Yes, I was lucky enough to see him at the Barnes and Noble release party in Grand Rapids MI. He was more buff in person than in some of the movie poster pictures I have seen out.
I am concerned about the portrayal of Jasper because of potential script writing. I think that Jackson Rathbone is an amazing actor, however, I don’t think they will give this character enough time in the movies to convey his emotional relevance to the Cullen dynamic. Since Jasper can manipulate emotions of those around him, I categorize him with Chelsea of the Volturi who keeps the Volturi family bound together. I think Jasper has a slightly larger role in keeping the Cullens happy, safe around werewolves and even keeled for their own benefit.

I am probably most excited about seeing Ashley Greene as Alice in the Twilight movie. This is because Alice is my second favorite character, and would probably be my best friend if she was real. She just so cute, I love her! I also am looking forward to seeing Ashley as Alice because I think looks-wise, she looks like Alice, and I want to see if she makes Alice act like I think she acts. She seems to have the part down quite well.
As for question number two, I think it’s going to be hard to relate Rob Pattinson to Edward. I love Edward, and I don’t think anyone (or human) could ever portray him as I imagine him. He’s just too perfect. Also, Rob doesn’t currently look like I imagine Edward looking. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, though, he looked more like m Edward than he does now.

I am extremely excited to see the relationship between Rosalie and Bella in the movie. In the book, Rosalie is so negative towards Bella and the entire situation Edward has gotten their family into. In real live Nikki Reed and Kristen Stewart are really great friends and I think Nikki playing a character that hates Kristen’s will show how dynamic both the actresses truly are!
Also, most of the movie coverage has been on Bella and Edward and the Cullen family (don’t get me wrong I am LOVING it all!) but we haven’t see much of Bella’s school friends so I really want to see how they look and interact with Bella and the Cullens. In the book, they aren’t given a huge amount of detail so it will also be interesting to see how each actor has developed there character.
I’m pretty excited to see everyone as their characters. More so Rob and Kristen to see their chemistry and how well they bring the characters to life. I’m pretty excited for the whole movie and I can’t wait!!! I know the movie will be amazing!

Now one person that I have no doubt in my mind will do the most fantastic job ever is Taylor Lautner. I think he is the embodiment of Jacob Black from what I’ve seen in interviews and stuff. I think he is going to do the most fantastic job ever. I have extremely high expectations about him!
The one person I’m not to sure about is maybe, oh gosh, I don’t really know. I think they did a fantastic job casting, I guess Rob. I know I already said I was anxious about his performance, and I think I’m anxious in a good and bad way. I just think it will be very interesting to see how he does. I may be a little more nervous than anxious the more I think about it. Fingers crossed that he does a good job!

im most looking forward to Rober Pattinson…I saw his work in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and it was AWESOME! ha. hopefully he’ll be even better in Twilight the movie!
I am looking forward to seeing Robert Pattinson take on Edward Cullen. So far the trailers and other things where he is in look great, but it is going to be exciting none the less, because we all have our own image of Edward.
It will be hard to relate to Kristen Stewart as Bella, since I always imagined myself as Bella when I read the stories (it was also hard in the third chapter of Breaking Dawn, though everything that happened was what I hoped for).
But really, the movie is going to be different from the book no matter what, I am sure it will be good though! It can never be quite the same, I don’t really care if something takes place at a spot where it didn’t in the book.. Since then it probably doesn’t matter that much. As long as the essence is there, and I think it will be. So I am sure all the actors are going to do a great job, from interviews they all seem like they have done a big job researching and that they take on this job very seriously. So I am just excited!

well i am torn between edward and alice.
i really think robert pattinson is going to be an awesome edward. (nobody i know believes me!!) lol
i just think hes bringing something new to the table and i am initially extremly happy with how much he looks like MY edward. so it makes me more excited to see how he is going to play edward.
i have had absolutly no hint or preview of how ashly greene is playing alice so that makes me super anxious because alice is one of my favorite characters.i am hopefully ashley is going to do a great job because she looks really committed to it (as does all of the cast).
i think that nikki reed is going to have the hardest time relating to rosalie because its hard to think of anyone more self-absorbed and selfish. nikki seems too nice! lol but i think she’ll do a great job.
im sooooooooo excied to see taylor lautner as jacob because
1.he’s one of the hottest guys on the face of the earth
2.he is very talented
3.i just ador jacobs personality
4.i want to see if he can acually can protray his personality right
i think it would hardest to be jasper because he feels alot of emotions at the same time and controls other peoples emotions and i dont even know if i could do that.
I’m very much looking forward to Jackson playing Jasper. I don’t know exactly why, but it’s just that I can see these similarities between the two and I can’t wait how well Jackson acts. I know he’ll do it well, but I don’t know HOW he’ll do so. And also…Jackson and Ashley just look cute together!
And I’m very anxious for Kristen Stewart to play Bella. In all of the movies I’ve seen Kristen, combined with interviews, I’ve never really felt that she had put enough emotion out or that she’s just not interesting enough. I think that Bella is reclusive, but not so much like Kristen that people would be bored. I hope that Kristen plays Bella well…and that the clumsy moments look genuine. I’ll be tossing in my seat the whole movie, I’m very sure. lol
I am kind of nervous about the whole movie because twilight is a very hard book to put into action but i am exited to see it
I am really wondering how they are going to portray Jacob in New Moon if they continue making the movies.
Robert is a very good acter but can he be the proper Edward we will have to wait and see
I think I relate with Bella the maost while i was reading Twilight and it was exp;aining her characteristics I noticed that I had alot of those same charecteristics so i hope that Kristen portrays Bella well!!!!!
i think Kellan Lutz most relates to his character because of what i hear ( and from your other podcasts) is that kellan is also a fun and playful person to be around. He also reflects what i think Emmet looks like (exept for the hair which should be longer, curlier, and browner.
i have a tie between Robert Pattinson and Jackson Rathbone for who i want to see most in the movie. Rob is not only hot, but i think it will be interesting how he portrays edward. and i always imagine and paint a picture to what stephenie meyer writes about how edward acts towards Bella (being in love with her and all, but it would be awesome to actually see it, and how it matches up to how stephenie and myself see it.Jackson is cute too and i would like to see how he puts the fact that jasper can feel the moods around him and portrays that into his role. also it would be interesting to see for real how ( or if) they change how he acts a little or how he is towards alice, because since they have a closed off relationship it will be interesting how they show that alice and jasper are together (besides jessica telling Bella it the first day of school).
I am very excited a bout this movie, I want to see the all the cast, I have no doubt that kristen and rob would do a wonderful job, Alice is one of my favorites, her character is so fun and friendly. in the book she is a very lovable character, will see wthat happens in the screen. The only bad thing about all the books they made into movies is that the movies are never, as good as the books, If I go with that mind set to the movie, I think I will be Ok

I am really, really, looking forward to seeing to seeing Robert Pattinson play Edward (but who isn’t right!!) I think that Edward would a complex character to play because of all of his emotions. Especially when he first sits next to Bella in biology, the first day she is there. But i think that he will do a really good job because Stephenie Meyer let him read Midnight Sun. Plus he kind of looks like how I pictured Edward. I CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!!
I also think Jasper would be a very complex character to play because he has lots of his own emotions, but he also controls other peoples emotions too. But I think Jason will do a really good job. The entire cast seems really connected and committed to their character and the movie.
the actor that i want to see the most would have to be Peter F. (no earthly idea how to spell his last name) as Carlisle. he seems to have the father persona down because he actually knows what its like to have kids. he seems like a seasoned actor that knows how to get into the role and play it well. the way he talked about bout his character he seems to have a good grasp on what the real Carlisle is like. i can’t wait to see him. it doesn’t hurt that he’s handsome…
for the second part of the question i would have the hardest time relating to would have to be the character Jessica or Lauren. i just don’t see how you could be so mean to a person or how you can fake that kindness, like Jessica does. they just aren’t my favorite characters to see or to have people interact with. i also don’t know about Robert as he pays Edward. something just seems off about him. i’m sure he’s a good actor, Cedric was great, but i don’t know if he really fits the Edward persona well.

I really can’t wait to see Rob portaying his character!!!! Because Edward is such an intense character!!! The character I have the most trouble picturing with the actor from the movie is probably Charlie! I actually pictured him in a whole different way!!! But I have faith!! And to me Twilight is the best movie in the whole universe!!!!!!!!

i am looking forward to Rob playing edward.. he is such an imporant character and so complex that at first i didnt think anyone could pull it off. but after hearing that rob has read part of midnight sun and kind of isolated himself for a while to “get in character” i am pretty sure he has a good outlook on what he should be doing… its going to be alot of fun to see him on the bigh screen..oh ya …he is also really hot 🙂 the character i have the most troubel seeing is charlie..i just didnt picture him that way ..so its gonna take some time to change my outlook.. but i still cant wait to see the movie!!! love your pod casts keep up the great work 🙂
I want to see everyone but I mostly want to see Edward and Bella and Alice
First off I must say I absolutely love your podcast. But what I am really looking forward to seeing in this film is how the actors portray their characters. Edward and Bella are such amazing characters with such unique minds and such chemistry that I would hate to see the film ruin the story. However I am definitely looking forward to the film and hope that the film plays out like I had imagined it when I was reading Twilight. I also can’t wait to see the Cullen family and how well they portray the Cullen family. For the most part I am just super excited for the film to come out and represent Twilight!!!!!!!
Obviously, I can’t wait till the movie comes out. I think all the actors will do a great job, but I’m most looking forward to seeing Kristen Stewart’s performance. She’s already read all 4 books, and I can’t imagine how hard it must be to pull off the “Twilight” Bella, who’s just beginning to understand how deep her and Edward’s love runs. I think as the books progress, Bella becomes a much more complex and mature character, and trying to portray just the Twilight Bella after you’ve already had some insight in the future Bella’s and the ways she changes is very hard. Woot woot Kristen! <3
I think the character that I’ll find it hardest to relate to will be Esme. I found that throughout the books, all of the Cullens’ characters are very well developed and I felt like I got to know all of them. But Esme is rarely talked about and plays and very minor role in the books [ at least from Bella’s POV….its a little different in Midnight Sun]. I really hope that Elizabeth Reaser can help me see Esme clearer!

I have tried my absolute hardest not to expect very much from the movie, so i do not get too dispointed if it stinks, and i get a pleasant surprise if it is absolutely amazing. But one thing i will not have tolerated is the ruining of my dear Jasper Hale’s character. He is a dear fictional friend of mine and if his lovely appearance on the large screen is not anything like Jasper should be than i will be forced to write many angry emails to Summit, and be ashamed of the movie producers. I know you may find me rather harsh, but when i have something i want beyond sane measures, i better get it, or face the rath of my tears. For i fear i shall cry buckets if dear Mr. jasper’s character is not as lovely as he should be. but if he is as should be than i will exult and write many happy appreciative emails to everyone at Summit and fight back rude comments about the movie vehemently. Mr. Jasper is not to be toyed with, so i suggest that Summit Entertainment do their job and do it well.

I am most excited to see Peter Facinelli (Carlisle) because he is the core of the Cullen family, he is the reason they are who they are and without him all the Cullens would be like all the other vampires. He is a complex, mysterious, warm and loving character. Even though he looks very young( and hot), in my mind I picture this wise, cool older man who I would go to for advice and help with my issues.
When I saw that he was casted to play Dr. Cullen I thought it was the perfect match. He is HOT!!! Sorry Jenny!! and there is a mysterious, mature side to his look.
I just hope that the movie stays true to the characters and their personalities. I really hope they don’t make this movie into another swallow teen movie.

I’m most excited to see Alice, because i just think shes really cool!
I just remembered that the question asks for your favorite character that will be hardest to relate to but I’ll get to that after my first answer:
The hardest character for me to relate to will probably be Phil because we hardly know anything about him!
My fav one that will be hardest to relate to will probably be Edward. But let me explain why! I’m so excited to see how Rob will portray Edward, but he could be really hard to relate to because Edward is such a difficult, complex character, and we all have our ideas of how Edward is. But I totally think Rob can pull it off! Go Robert Pattinson!
Personally, I am most excited to see Kellen Lutz playing Emmett. I really think that he is most like Emmett in the aspect of big-brother-bear-always-protective-yet-at-the-same-time-loves-a-joke-corny-serious-at-times-yet-lovable-all-the-same kind of guy. Haha just like Emmett. Kellen Lutz, to me has the whole Emmett package, like i said above, but to me he’s also a really really incredible actor. I’ve only seen some of his work, but what i have seen, he’s amazing, and i love him!
I’m also looking forward to see Peter Facinelli as Carlisle. Carlisle is one of my favorite Cullens, and Peter is an amazing actor…and i mean, c’mon! Whats not to love? I really think he’s gonna bring Carlisle his justice.
Another character I’m sooo psyched for is Cam Gigandet as James. James insn’t actually a character in my top 5, but Cam? W-O-W! *melts into a puddle of love for Cam* now that guy is gorgeous! He’s also got that whole *takes big breath* bag-guy-super-villain-james-cookie-crunch-i’m-gonna-eat-you-scary-beautiful-vampire-demon-tracker kinda look. *whew*
So I’m not so sure about other characters…Rob as Edward I’m not even going to comment on because A: so many people have already and B: I could go on and on and on and on about how much good he’s going to be for Edward and all us Edward-lovers out here. Jackson Rathbone as Jasper? Now I actually haven’t seen any of Jackson’s work yet, however I’m sure I will sometime in the future. From the clips of video MTV has graciously given us on Tuesdays, I think from first glance he’ll do wonderful as Jasper, but from still photos? I’m not so sure…so i’m indifferent about him.
As for the female characters? I’m not gonna bother with that either…i’m sure they’ll all bring their certain characters to life — particularly Ashley Green as Alice. That is probably the most excited i am for the female parts. I hope that the movie actors all do their part however, to make this movie amazing for all the dedicated fans, and fans that are still learning and joining into this amazing fandom!

1. Ashley Greene- I Think Ashley Greene Looks So Much Like Alice It Is Not Funny, She Has The Spunk and the Looks 4 Alice. She is Just How I Predicted Her And I Bet She Will Fulfill My Standars Even If She Talks Monotonely!
2. Peter Facinelli- When You Interviewed Him I Thought He Related So Well To Carsile,How He Studied and Everything. I am So Excited Because Carsile Created Everyone And Can Obstain Blood. He is Young And Hot And So Is Peter. Peter Sounds And Is Just So… So Fatherly. I Know He Knows How To Act out The Role, And Through All The Pics Ive Seen, I Think He IS Carsile.

Laurent- On The Trailer, The ONe Line He Had, Blew It For Me. He didn’t Portray That Hottness of Laurnet. He is To Black and To Nomady, and Yes I Know Hes A Nomad But Stil… He Was To Serious And His Eyes Are To Bulgy LOL

I really like all the actors and actresses that are playing the characters. With the exception of the actress whos playing Esme. Her name escapes me now but I saw her on Grey’s Anatomy and I just didn’t like her acting and it bugged me, I dont know. I’m hoping that the movie will change my mind about her though because I adore Esme in the books and Id hate for her to be ruined in the movie for me. No offense to the actress of course, its just my opinion, maybe it was just the character she portrayed on Greys.

I’m probably looking forward mostly to seeing Ashley Greene as Alice and Rob Pattinson (or Spunk Ransom :P) as Edward.
-Ashley because Alice is my 2nd favourite character and I want to see if she pulls it off. From all the MTV Twilight Tuesday’s and the 2 Trailers, She looks fantastic! I think she will pull it off (: She has the quirkiness and funniness to do so. And the wig looks awesome 😛
-Rob because there was (and still is) so much speculation over weather he will pull it off. I personally think he will and he will prove everyone who thinks he will be a bad edward wrong. He was great in Harry Potter 4 as Cedric and I know this is a completely different genre but From that and all the videos we have seen (and the squealing fangirls we have heard) I think he will be fine.
But overall I am looking forward to everyone (:
I think I will personally have the hardest time relating to kristen Stewart as Bella. I think she looks the way I imagined Bella but isn’t a very good actor overall (sorry to all the Kristen Fans…). The other night I watched her in Zathura and I think she won’t cut it as our beloved Bella.

I know this may not be the normal response (ie Rob, Kristen and The Cullens) but my friedns and I really want to see Michael Welch. He’s been in so many science fictiony things that it will be interesting to see him move into this fantasy genre. Mike was always one of my favorite characters in the book just because he was so nice to Bella the first day and I am looking forward to Michael acting out the “puppy-dog” behavior. Don’t get me wrong, I’m looking forward to EVERYONE’S performance but that is the one we are looking forward to.
The character that I have a hard time seeing as Jacob is Taylor Lautner. He seems a little too…young to play Jacob. I know that Jabob IS young but I don’t know, Taylor is just not how I pictured Jacob. It will still be interesting to see how they change him through the movies. And I’m still sure that he will do a good job. They didn’t cast these particular actors/actresses by random so they have to be good.

I think that the best actor for their role is Peter Facinelli; he has that subtle aura about him–from what I’ve seen in the trailers–that just SCREAMS Carlisle. Not to mention that he is also very attractive. I think that he’ll nail Carlisle and I cannot wait to see the movie so I can see his portrayal.
One of my favorite characters in the book is Bella and to me, at this point, she has the most to prove. She always looks so bored and harsh again, in the trailers, and I don’t think she was the best choice for Bella. Her voice is too harsh and she feels a little bit robotic. I’m just not feeling it with her.

I am so excited to see the movie, and it makes me annoyed when other people say “I don’t want to see it because it will ruin Twilight for me”. I think that if you liked the book enough they would enjoy the movie thoroughly. Also, a book with this big of a fanbase cannot turn out as bad as everyone thinks. And if it is, Summit Entertainment is in trouble. But, I think we should look on the brighter side of things- I imagine everyone pictured Twilight as a movie while reading it, and bringing it to the big screen will make it even better.
Sorry for the long intro, here we go… I am so excited to see how Bella is portrayed. I am curious to see how they bring Bella’s thoughts into the movie without being able to read her exact thoughts at the time, as we could in the books. Bella has a private mind, but I hope that the audience can get a feel of what her it is like- even though Edward can’t. 😀
I really want to see Niki Reed, because Rosalie is my favourite character. (after Edward of course) I am so much like Rose so i want to see what Niki does with the characters and if she can bring Rosalies’ character to life.
Honestly, I’m most excited to see Stephenie Meyer’s cameo! I can’t choose between our beloved characters, are you crazy?!?!? I’ll probably miss her though, I’m expecting to be hyperventilating 30 seconds through the movie.

The actor i am most excited to see in the movie is Kristen Stewart. I have been a big fan of hers for a very long time and almost own all of her movies on dvd. She is so amazing. Not like any disney teeny bopper that teeanagers like today. I am 14 and i appreaciate her work so much.
In many of her films, kristen takes time to study the characters she plays and get to know them. not just reading a script.
I think that is pretty rare.

I cannot wait to see all the actors betray the different characters! I am really want to see the vampires acted out. I especially want to see Alice acted out well since she is my fav character. I also really want to see Bella betrayed well she is such a interesting person. I am a bit worried about the actor playing Jasper though. He just didn’t look right to me. Oh and the actor that plays Carlisle is just FANTASTIC! He looks just the way I pictured him! Overall, I can’t wait for the movie and think it will be great. I LOVE your podcast. Keep up the good work!
