What’s In & What’s Out? ~ Week #36

This week Kassie and I have fun speculating about what will make it into the movie from the book! We loved your answers and read a ton of them! There is a lot going on with the website, so we spend some time announcing our contests, and discussing the new Donate button. After discussing every scene we think is “In” and “Out” we talk The Host! The music this week is Let’s Get it Started by Oh No Not Stereo.

Interesting to hear what some people said they could live without in the movie. I wish it could be long enough for everything!

This was a Great Podcast. It was interesting to hear what people thought should or should not be on the movie
I’m 99% sure most of the can’t live without moments will be in the final film.. I hope they show Edward spending the night, or at least indicate that he is going to.. I’m less worried about the meadow scene (though he seems sort of angrier than I’d pictured) than I am about them doing the Port Angeles dinner justice. Overall, I feel secure about the major plot developments all being there — I’m just worried about the integrity of the dialogue after they pruned away 1/5 of the book. Even so, I can’t wait to see the movie.. several times! 😉
I meant pruned it down to 1/5 of the book.. I guess 2 hours isn’t enough time.. I wonder how much more time it would take for -everything- to be included?
