I have to wait a whole 2 weeks b4 i can see it again!!!! i don’t think the preview could have made the movie any worse and i was so thrilled and shocked at the end of the movie and my only comment was, “that was actually GOOD”
yes, i luv kristen and i luv rob and i luved them b4 i saw the movie, but i just didn’t think it was the type of story that would translate well into a movie. i was dead wrong. that movie was absolutely amazing!!! 5 stars all the way. it was obviously not as good as the book but how could it be? also, i LOVE how they have kind of a cliff hanger ending w/ victoria at the prom.
all in all, i think they captured the essense of the story while still taking it into their own hand to make ‘twilight the movie’ not ‘twilight the book’ i mean honestly, if it was the EXACT same as the book, it would be 6 hours long and i would much rather be reading the book.

I UNDERSTAND THAT SEVERAL PEOPLE MAY HAVE LOVED THIS MOVIE. I HOWEVER, AM COMPLETELY AND IRREVOCABLY OBSESSED WITH IT. I THINK THAT IT IS A GREAT WAY TO REINTRODUCE NEW PEOPLE TO TWILIGHT AND IN ADDITION IT WAS A WAY TO FALL BACK IN LOVE WITH TWILIGHT. I THINK THAT ROBERT DELIVERED AN UNBELIEVABLE PERFORMANCE AND THAT HE WAS SEVERELY UNDERESTIMATED. IN ADDITION I CAN’T WAIT FOR NEW MOON.

  3. Sam says:

The movie was really good, but I can’t help but feel a little disappointed. In reading the books you connect with the characters and I don’t think that came across as well in he movie. It felt very rushed at times and the scenes didn’t always connect well. Overall, I give 4 stars but will definitely watch it again, and I can’t wait for New Moon.

  4. Meganthenoodle says:

The movie was amazing. All of the actors did an amazing job in their roles and really took it to the next level. I only had a few problems with it. One, there was no meadow scene, which I was psyched for. Two, Bella, though was portrayed very well by Kristen, was too plain. In the book, she is more charismatic. It was not the actors fault though–that’s just a bad job on the screenwriter’s part. But overall, they did a much better job than any book-to-movie I have ever scene. Great work everyone!

  5. Michael says:

I am a guy that loved reading the books. Several people from my job were reading the books all at the same time and we all fell in love with all four of the books. So most of us decided that we wanted to go see the movie. Most everyone enjoyed the movie, but we felt that the movie spent too much time adding sceens about James and Victoria and forgot to show Bella and Edward falling in love. Because the movie never let the viewer truly see how Bella and Edward felt about each other, the sceen where Bella was being attacked did not really make sence. I think that they did a good job picking the actors but the script was the problem. My co-workers and I all agreed that we did not feel that the movie did a good enough job developing Bella and Edward’s relationship. My co-workers and myself are far from being teenagers, so maybe that is why we all said we liked the movie but we did not love it like we loved the books. I would give it a 2 out of 5.

  6. Tina says:

LOOOOOVED THE MOVIE! out of 5 stars, i’d say about a 4.75 and here’s why:
I was actually setting myself up for dissapointment right before i went to see it with my best friend (who’ll be posting here soon, i’m sure). When i saw the movie, naturally there were things that i’d pictured differently, but i LIKED the differences! I loved how they condensed what they needed to without leaving too much out. Everyone played their characters far better than i could have hoped and even the ones who didn’t say much just came alive for me! One of the things i like most is that i still picture everyone the same, but i’ve had a little insight on how someone else has seen them, which is pretty darn cool πŸ˜€
I was absolutely blown away, i really was. The only regret i have is that they never ‘really’ said “i love you” or anything sweet like that, but it was heavily implied, so that’s ok. There also wasn’t ‘really’ a meadow scene, but everything in it was said, and i kind of liked the varying places where that dialogue was taking place better… It was maybe more visually interesting and provided more variety in what we were seeing and what the actors could do with it. I mean…you can only do so much in a meadow, haha πŸ˜‰
overall, i’m in love with everything and everyone Twilight all over again.
If you ladies read this on the podcast, i’ll love you all that much more πŸ˜€ ta ta for now!

  7. Lauren says:

I’d give that movie 0 out of 5 stars. If I could give it less I would. That was literally the worst movie I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I was actually laughing in the movie theater at how bad it was with my friend. Yeah I know that some of you thought it was good. But personally I think you’re in denial. Don’t get me wrong I loved the Twilight series I just think that this movie was horrible. I don’t mean to be harsh, but the truth hurts. I think that the only scene in the movie that was worthy of Twilight was the Baseball scene, that scene was amazing. But the meadow scene was completely butchered and all of the dialogue in the first hour of the movie was so painfully awkward it was hard to watch. Another thing that I didn’t like was when Edward kissed her in her room. In Twilight he couldn’t even handle her lightly kissing without worrying about losing control. But when he kissed her in her room he pushed her on the bed while she was in her underwear! There is no way he could have handled that.

  8. Abby says:

I really don’t know what to say about this movie. I really really wanted to like it. But I don’t think I did. I do have one huge complaint though. The music was H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E! Did anyone else notice that Paramore’s song Decode wasn’t even in the movie at all?!?!?!?! Linkin Park’s song only played in at the very end in the credits!!!! And every time Bella and Edward looked at each other some spanish guitar would play. Oh, and Bella’s lullaby was NOT Bella’s lullaby. I hated that. They kept playing it in the background of so many scenes that I’m really sick of it.

  9. obsessed twilighter says:

wow…someone is a little critical (abby and lauren)….and paramores song was in there…a little hard to hear….i have to agreee.. but some parts were bad that i laughed…its a comedy i guess

  10. obsessed twilighter says:

ok….i would give this a 4 in a half….i really liked it…but some parts were really random or jst plain….fake…the running with bella on his back and the flying through the air…yeah…other than that, i enjoyed the rest. i thought the actors played their characters quite well…. i was a little diappointed but hey i was expecting that. overall, i liked the movie and cant wait for new moon…wooohooo!

  11. huda says:

ok so when i saw it yesterday i was dissapointed with it, but i saw it again tonight and i realized I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! SOOOOO MUCH!! i think seeing it the 2nd time around helped me get a feel of it more and im obsessed all over again. πŸ™‚ and the bio scene didnt seem AS cheesy which i thought was impossibly but its true. i think you need to see it a 2nd time around to really know id you appreciate it or not.

  12. Dawn says:

I am such an unbelievable mark for Rob Pattinson that I could have watch a pic of him for two hours and givin it 5 stars. For the most part, I loved it. I plan to go again. I give it 4 stars. I can’t wait for New Moon. That last exchange between Jacob and Edward in the movie was fantastic. I got instantly excited when I saw them glaring at each other. TEAM JACOB.

  13. Bree.J says:

I gotta say they didnt vary to much from the book, different but close..I really loved it..i saw it 3times and im going again next weekend…!!!!!!

  14. Michy says:

    Loved it! Amazing.

  15. Cass says:

umm. I didn’t really like it that much. there were many scenes that could have been better and of course the shining Edward scene. I think they could have done something more obvious because some people had a hard time seeing what was different with him in the sunlight. Some other things were that unless you read the book, you didn’t really feel the intensity of Edward and Bella’s love, it just looked like Edward was a sensitive boyfriend, but sometimes not the best one. Like when he said she had to hurt her father or when he said he didn’t care and that he needed her out of Forks right away.
But, one of the best and funny scenes were with Mike and Jessica. My personal favorite was when Bella came to school with Edward one day, and he had sunglasses on, everyone was staring. That was really funny and right when the scnene ended he put his arm around her. That was so cute!
This is seriously only MY opinion, but by himself, Robert P looks kinda ugly but when you see Kristen and him together, you can see the’re a really cute couple.

Most of you guys probably disagree with me on many points but hey, this is a opinion corner right? :p
love the podcast thanks :] ~ Cass

  16. Angela says:

Okay, it’s not what i expected, Edward was sooo awkward in the movie, i mean I always imagined him as like smooth, but he talked to awkward in the movie, and i felt like the story was moving to fast but… it was slow.. ya know? it was kind of boring and weird. the action scenes were awesome. in the baseball scene, i think they should have.. kept talking, like in the book they told us why James was going after Bella, and in the movie, it just happened just cause he was a tractor. they didn’t say because Edward defended Bella and James got all waa hoo im gonna get ur love. it just happened. and.. the part they when they were in the forest was kind of completely unnecessary. they should have just kept it in the car scene like how it was in the book. and i wished they told more about carlisle’s past.

THE SETTING WAS GREAT. but whoever wrote the script… yeah you kind of need to work on that..
but the hottness of the characters totally made up for the kind of suckiness of the movie

i still like the book so much better.

  17. Cass says:

oopes sorry forgot to add the number of stars! >.< sorry my bad!
i give it hmm maybe 4 stars because someof it could have been improved :p
but i still liked it. but some of the guys didnt like it :p haha too bad guys!

  18. kristen says:

I give the movie 3/5 stars. I loved certain little bits of the movie! But that’s only cuz I read the book – my rating might have been lower/higher if I haden’t read it I DUNNO!
I thought the music was annyoing. Playing what almost sounds like the same song throught half the movie was a pain in the BUM. And some of the best songs on the soundtrack weren’t IN the movie.
I thought Charlie was perfect. It was so jokes when he has his gun like, “okay let him in” about edward πŸ˜›
for the most part all the cullens rocked it.
    Mike was ADORIBLE.

SOME of the FX made me laugh, nothing special there. The blur that the vamps had behind him when they ran looked stupid. th sparkles looked even dumber.
But my biggest complaints are with bella x edward. Baisicly, edward wasn’t… to my liking in this movie. Rob’s acting was great, but no matter how well he nails that part, I just can’t see him as being AS attractive as edward is supposed to be. Like, if I were to watch the movie without reading the book, I would have no idea what was so great about him and why all the girls loved him so much. And I didn’t think Bella was “alive” enough in this movie. She was too BLAND. Yes, her clutziness was there, and she did smile in the movie, but for the most part she seemed to have little range of emotion.

The movie itself, as a movie and not in relation to the book was okay, not phenomenal. Kind of cheesy at parts. Loveable at other parts. Fart-able at other parts. Between Bella and Edward, in the moive, I didn’t really feel the reason behind why they were so in love, I didnt feel the chemistry, or understand the attraction. I don’t think that part was portrayed really well…? Like their getting to know eachother, and time together, and the things they talked about, and what they liked about eachother, their relationship devlopment, it was all kind of rushed or wasn’t there.

  19. Angela says:

oh and i forgot, probably 3 out of 5.

  20. BJ says:

I’m still not sure what to think about it. Not a movie someone would like withough reading the books though. It didn’t flow and it didn’t feel like a love story. I know the book spent a lot of time with just bella and edward and that wouldn’t be interesting to watch but it just seemed fake one minute they’re not talking the next they love each other. I felt like they added stuff that was pointless like the bio trip and took out stuff that was important like the scenes where bella is asked to the spring dance (not prom) and edward hears them ask. That’s the whole reason why edward starts talking to bella again in the first place cause he realizes someday she would say yes to someone and he wanted to be that someone. And them talking about going to the meadow and made the meadow scene better not she walked past him into the woods and he fallowed. The point of the trip was for her to see him in the sun and to see if he was strong enough to see if the relationship was possible and then the kiss at the end. Them being in love after that makes more sense then how they did it in the book. The scenes with the other vamps were not needed edward explained that not all vamps are like them some still eat people that explanation was sufficient enough. Basically the movie could’ve been better. People myself included were laughing just because things were awkward or just cheesy and weird thats not how i felt about the book at all. I did like seeing the characters portrayed in the movie but thought the storyline could’ve been set up better. Better flow better scenes and better dialogue in some places would of made the movie more friendly to non book readers.

  21. BJ says:

oh favorite part of the movie was when edward and bella came to school together and everyone was staring bella “you do realize everyone is staring at us” edward “not that guy, oh wait he just looked” and the look on edwards face so cute like yea i’m with her ha ha
oh and i didn’t like how bella was played, while reading the book i get the sense that she is estatic that he loves her that he’s paying attention to her. she was dazzeled by him and smiling a lot and so excited to see him all the time. you didn’t get that in the movie and i think thats why it was hard to believe oh yea now were in love cause you never saw her show it.

  22. A twilight fanatic here. I have not read the book, but since the movie is out. Imma watch it and hopefully blog about it sometime.. No spoilers though, but a sweet details will do. πŸ™‚

    cheers,
    Twilight Fanatic

  23. Mara says:

I would give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. It was a really amazing adaptation. Please don’t hate me for saying this but, in a lot of ways, I thought it was better than the book. The movie removed some of the cheesiest dialogue in the book, and the few cheesy lines that were left were played with such conviction that they didn’t sound cheesy at all. Also, they introduce James, Victoria, and Laurent earlier in the story so that there is more of a buildup to the climactic ballet scene than in the book. At the same time, there were several parts of the movie that were unintentionally silly, such as the part after he sparkles and is being so over-the-top with self-loathing. Overall, I thought It was one of the best book-to-movie adaptations I have seen and was really intense and awesome. Especially loved the baseball scene and the scene where Edward and Bella get out of the car together and the whole school is staring at them and Edwards says”not that guy…. oh wait, he just looked”.

  24. Alex (LA) says:

I loved the movie. Absolutely adored it. It really managed to capture the essence and heart of the book, which I think is quite an amazing feat. The special effects weren’t nearly as horrid as a lot of people had been saying. For such a small budget, I thought it was pretty good! One thing I wish was different is I would have liked the sparkling effect to be more pronounced. When Edward first stepped into the light, I couldn’t even see it! I leaned over to my friend and said, “What, is he even sparkling at all?” It wasn’t very, forgive me, dazzling. Robert’s performance, on the other hand, was utterly amazing. He managed to portray the complex and frustrating emotions Edward is feeling for Bella. And that prom scene? Oh my goodness, absolutely swoon-inducing. Kristen, too, was phenomenal. She is Bella, no acting needed. I never once thought, oh she’s a great actress. the entire time, all I could think about was the character. I 100% believed in her performance. Amazing. In fact, the entire cast was wonderful. The humans, in particular, stole the show for me. They were hilarious and so real. I knew all of them when I was in high school. They were great. I actually really ended up liking the fact that Edward and Bella’s relationship felt very rushed and I’ll tell you why. To me, their relationship in the film felt much more wild. Their love is a force of nature; it’s chaotic and rushed and sudden and it doesn’t make sense at all. That’s what makes it so wonderful. They don’t fall in love, but instead feel this physical need to be with one another. Its something so much stronger than love. It’s life or death. On that note, I think it fits perfectly that they never once actually say “I love you” in the film to one another. For them, those words are practically an understatement because their connection runs so much deeper than romance. Edward’s declaration of “You are my life now.” is a much more fitting sentiment. I also enjoyed the preview of New Moon at the end from Bella’s reaction to Edward’s suggestion of leaving, to Jacob and Edward’s obvious dislike for one another, to Edward’s comment about the wolves, and finally ending the movie with Victoria looking rather insane. That was awesome and so much better than ending it with our star-crossed lovers declaring their undying devotion to one another. We know that already, we get it, show us some crazy people! All in all, I thought the movie was a wonderful adaptation of a wonderful story. They hit every major plot point, kept the personalities of the characters accurate, and captured the heart of Stephanie Meyer’s story. What more can a fan ask for?

Love you both, love the podcast, LOVED meeting you at the TwilightLIVE event in LA!

  25. Hayley says:

I would give it 3/5 stars.

Let me just say that Kristen and Rob did a great job. Rob was SOOOOO CUTE DURING THE WHOLE MOVIE!!!!
but there were parts in the movie that were supposed to be extremely dramatic and they made it hilarious because they completely protrayed it wrong. Like the scene where Edward is in bio with Bella for the first time….when he smelled her blood it was so cheesy i laughed. And some of the stare downs were awkward. IDK….if they make enough money to make a 2nd i think it will be done a lot better because they’ll have so much more money. They need to work on the stunts because they were pretty bad, but they had an extremely small budget.

Also, the meadow scene was not done well at all. The whole rage that edward goes through didn’t even happen there. The movie meadow scene consisted of them laying there starring at eachother.

  26. kiki says:

It rocked i saw it last nite w/ my 2 BFFLs!!!!!!! I am overly obsessed with the twilight series there needs to be more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your right ROB was so HAWT!!!!!!!!! I couldnt belive steph. was in the movie EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Victoria looked a little to goody goody /girly. Laurent and James… PUT SOME CLOTHES ON we need that 4 Rob ROTFLOL!!!!!! jake was ok 5 STARS FROM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

P.S.they are making another twilight movie-www.stepheniemeyer.com

  27. kiki says:

    I am the #1 fan

  28. Kaitlyn F. says:

I would give it 4.5 out of 5. It had some disappointments, but there were also some great scenes.
    (1)Characters:
*Edward and Bella: They were good, but Rob’s face was a little weird at points. In the movie people were laughing at his facial expressions during scenes like when he and James were growling at each other in the ballet studio; and when he sometimes looked at Bella. They made he seem like a stalker when he said: “I like watching you sleep. It’s fascinating.” Kristen did a good job, but sometimes she seemed a little off.
*Jasper and Alice: I loved both of these characters. They were portrayed in a great way, and really made.
*Rosalie and Emmett: Again, they were great. Nikki really brought out Rosalie’s character very well. But what was with her grinning at Bella’s joke: “Bad as in… I become the meal.” Hello! She’s not supposed to like if that were to happen. Kellan gave Emmett the comedy the movie needed, and also gave it the ouch of serious. He balanced that very well.
*Esme and Carlisle: Each of them showed the bond that was between their characters, which was kind of hard for me to picture in the book, so that I was glad to see. Peter really seemed to be comfortable in the doctor role, too.
*The Nomads: Wow. They were great. They were included in more scenes, which I was happy to see, because they felt like random vampires coming in (from Bella’s perspective in the book).
*Rez kids: Taylor, Solomon, and Krys didn’t have too many scenes, but they pulled it off. Taylor showed how his character had a crush on Bella. A little subtle at points, but it showed.
    * Parents: Okay, Charlie was fenomenal! Renee and Phil were okay, but I felt like they could’ve had a few less scenes. Billy was a very funny person.
    * The Rest of the People: The school kids were funny (especially during one f the dinner scenes). Although, Mike and everyone else, seemed too forward about liking Bella (“My home-girl Bella.”). Anna brought out Jessica’s character wonderfully. But what was up with the whole “Eric and Angela” thing. And where was Lauren? The frat boys were portrayed quite well.
    (2) What was wrong:
    * The “I love you”. Where was THAT?! It defined EVERTHING!
    * What was with Edward confessing things at random points? Ex.: He told Bella he could read minds, when they had dinner.
*Alright, They NEVER mentioned Jasper’s gift, or even SHOWED it! They didn’t mention anyone else’s gift either. LAME!
    * Edward just said: “It’s the venom” with a very straight face. Just a little disappointing.
    * Yeah. How Edward sparkled was a little creepy.
    * How mean Edward seemed at points.
    (3) What I really enjoyed:
    * When Eric kept saying: “It’s La Push, baby.”
    * The baseball scene. It really helped me visualize what was going on. Besides, they looked hot, and really professional. πŸ™‚
    * When Edward swung the car around when he saved Bella from the frat boys and when he drove away.
    * When Rosalie called Emmett her “Monkey Man.”
    * When you could Alice having a vision.
    * When Victoria was watching Edward and Bella dance, and how she (Victoria) descended the stairs.
*When Rosalie, Edward, and Emmett were running through the forest trying to trick James.
    * How they put Stephenie in the movie. Very nice!
    * How Emmett raised the knife when saying hi to Bella.
    * The stare down between Billy and Edward.
Sorry it’s so long, but I wanted to hit everything in the movie.
    GREAT PODCAST!

  29. Kaitlyn F. says:

Sorry, above it’s “Where you could SEE Alice having a vision.”

  30. Sarah says:

IT WAS AMAZING! I’M GONNA SEE IT 4 A 3RD TIME TODAY!!!! I would rate it 4.5 stars (****)! I loved the kitchen scene where Bella meets the Cullens and the baseball scene. The song goes very well with the baseball scene and they really made it look good. GOD I LOVE SUMMIT AND ALL OF THE CAST!!!! I CAN’T WAIT FOR NEW MOON!!!

But, some lines where kinda cheasy. And they left out quite a bit and changed the important scenes. The meadow was great, but I think it could’ve been better. The sparkling in the sun looked like Edward had gone in one of those glitter text generators. ITS THE EDWARD GENERATOR! lol. And they didn’t get into the Cullens as much as I would have liked. We barely got Emmett and his jokes (besides him waving with the gigantic knife), Alice and her happiness and love for shopping, Rosalie talked more than the rest of them I think… Jasper and his calmness, Carlisle and his uh… control, and Esme and her love fore everyone! Besides that the movie was great.

  31. Natasha says:

I really loved the movie and I think Kristen did a really good job with Bella. I especially liked all of the embarrassing parent scenes (like Charlie and the pepper spray:D) Rob’s expressions were a little off sometimes, and all of the staring was just a little weird. Taylor did a really good job with Jacob, and I think he will transition well into New Moon. Gil Birmingham was good as Billy, very dad-ish. I thought the baseball scene was awesome, and Supermassive Black Hole was a good way to incorporate Muse (Stephenie’s cameo was really cool too). The Nomads were good themselves, but all of the action special effects in the movie were crap. Overall, I really loved the movie and I can’t wait for it to come out on dvd so i can watch it over and over and over…. four stars πŸ™‚

  32. Kimberly says:

I actually saw the movie twice and liked it a lot better the second time. I think this was because there was so much hype when I first went (for a midnight showing) and was overly-critical about it. It definitely was not as great as the book, but they followed pretty closely to it. I have to say, some of the acting was a little mediocre and the scenes seemed a little choppy and didn’t flow quite as well as I thought they could have. However, I loved the casting choices for all the Cullens. Alice and Rosalie, I think, were great choices, and acted exactly how I pictured them in my head. I thought Charlie was hilarious, and was great at playing the protective, but non-hovering dad. I also liked how they incorporated Bella’s clumsiness into the film without playing it up too much. The part where she accidently hits Jacob with the door of the truck was great! And Rob as Edward was wonderful! He was so perfect and gorgeous, and yet so awkward, which was exactly right. I think my favorite part was the baseball scene; I just loved the music and it was so much fun to watch. I also loved all the music in the film and thought it went very well with the scenes.
Overall, I was satisfied with the movie and give it three *s, considering how closely it followed the novel in only two hours, and with a low budget and not very well-known actors. I’m really excited for the next one!

  33. alaina says:

    I LOVED THE MOVIE!!!!
i saw it at 12:01 on thursday and was super tired the next day at school but i was all worth it!!
one of my favorite scenes was the kitchen scene when Bella meets the Cullens it was hilarious!
what i didnt like even though i understand that they couldnt have everything was how they didnt really go in depth with the cullens and how they didnt show the blood type scene and how they also cut the airport scene.
i would have to say i loved every minute of it and the actors did amazing jobs i was the most impressed with Kellan and his role of emmet it was fantastic.
Overall its definately 5 STARS it was unbelievable!!!!!

  34. Alissa says:

The movie I thought was great. People are too busy criticizing it then realizing its just someones perspective of how they saw twilight. I thought the portrayal of the the characters were great even if they didnt talk much. The human friends were my favorite, they got them perfectly.Cant wait for New Moon : ]

  35. happy says:

omg…they never said “i love you” to each other…not even once….the closest was” and so the lion fell in love with the lamb” and “we can never be apart” and edward didnt seem as smart as he should be….he didnt seem that comfortable w/ bella which i tought he should be…and the flying and running wow fakeness. except in the basball scene, i thouhgt they did pretty good. sigh… i just hope new moon is a little better.

  36. happy says:

im sooo confuzed! which is bella’s lullaby…ive been hearing too many…

  37. hannah says:

I loved the movie! I thought it was overall pretty excellent! there were a couple times when it was kind of weird and cheesy but for the most part, it was awesome. I think the movie was very well cast, and although I didn’t like Rob a Edward in the beginning, he definitely grew on me. there was one part though that bugged me…i forget where this is in the move but it cuts to a scene of bella and edward on these rocks, and bella says “is carlisle the reason you don’t kill people?” and it seemed very abrupt. i could just tell there was more to that scene that didn’t make it to the movie, and i wish they would have kept it in! i think it was probably some of Carlisle’s back story, which i would have loved to hear. also, i think there wasn’t enough jacob in the movie. don’t get me wrong i’m all for team edward, but it just seemed like he wasn’t in the movie at all! same goes for Sam Uley! he was in the movie for about 2 seconds…but enough complaints…I really did like the movie a lot, so 4.5 our of 5 stars from me!

  38. nancywantsrobb says:

I loved it and the graphics were bad but i didnt really care too much
but I WISH it was longer though, i mean Pirates 3 was like 4 hours why couldnt this be that long too?
but i also knew that the movie didnt have a lot of money to start with anyways
so i can only hope that New Moon will have spent more money.
    overall 4.9 out of 5

btw ROB was OH so HOT
but still it annoyed me the fact that everytime he came on screen everyone screamed
i understand the first time but SERIOUSLY not ever time!!

they left out some parts that i wanted in there and they didnt say anything about Jasper’s power which made me mad but over all I LOVED IT so good i was way into the movie it was very funny too i never thought it would be that funny Kristen and Rob did an AWESOME job as Bella and Edward i wasnt sure how Kristen would do but now i cant think of anyone better my favorite part of the movie would be the baseball sence just like i pictured it i would gladly give it 4.5* out of 5 the only reason its not 5 is cause the missing parts
o and one other thing i didnt like how clingy Alice was to Jasper i know he is the newest vamp but give the guy some space

I like what comment No. 10 said but I would like to add, did any else notice that Rosalie was eating a carrot??
    I give it two stars.

I thought the movie was great! They did great justice to the novel, and they did a fantastic job fitting in all of the scenes into the time they were slotted. They spent the right amount of time on all the right things. But some scenes that were supposed to be romantic were a little bit awkward. Other than that, the movie was good. All the actors did a fantastic job portraying their characters. My favorite scene was most definitely the baseball scene. It was UNBELIEVABLE! I am a huge fan of Muse and they did a great job of playing the song into the scene. I would go see the movie again just to see the baseball scene again. I would give the movie 4.5 stars!

ok i know im gonna get alot of hate for this but i hated it!!! i thought it was a 1! rob was such a bad actor. like when bella came in biology the first time… every one in the theater was laughing at him! and not in a good way. he was suposted to act like…. sad and tourtured cuz hes 100 yrs old but he just acted wierd!. i think bella though was an awesome actor and did a great job… i also didnt like how they did things out of order.

ONE THING I DID LIKE WAS WHEN WATCHING THE MOVIE IT FELT LIKE I WAS IN THE THEATER W/ A BUNCH OF FRRIENDS! LIKE WE ALL TALKED TO EACH OTHER AND IT WAS AWESOME~!
PS.Callie(k?) you woulnt like this but people cheered more for Jacob than Edward!! I KNOW RIGHT!!

also i loved the way alice pitched!! it was awesome!

I commented #135 too, and i just wanted to add:
-Jessica is perfect…. I love it when she describes Alice (‘shes WEIRD’) and Jasper (‘he always looks like he’s in pain’)
-Mike was entertaining…. but he didn’t seem very serious about dating Bella… more like he had a minor crush.
-Rosalie was perfect. She was really witchy (or you could put a B in front of that)
-Emmet was also adorable… in a big bro kinda way…
-Edward is not tarzan…. the whole tree thing was kinda weird…. and yes. Edward was kind of a creeper at points. By not explaining it fully, they turned him from slightly creepy and mysterious into full-fledged stalker at points.
    -GO STEPHENIE MEYER
    -The hippie van was PSYCHEDELIC
-No i love you… they put plenty of other cheesy things in there… but not one ‘I love you’
-The meadow was not at all important. it was not sunny nor a special place and not even a place where secrets come out.
-Edwards room was like a closet.
    -They didn’t explain Jasper at all….. ):
    -Esme was lovingly small-town.
-Bella had a really cute house… i would live there.
-The flashbacks where overwrought…. completely unrealistic.

Ok… i might have been a bit nit picky… but i still loved it.
    Hope New Moon is better.

I would give it 3.5 stars.. I was very upset that they left out scenes w/ Edward and Bella that I thought were important. For example, the first night that he slept over..and then she told him, “I love you” the following morning.. any “I love you’s” were left out all together. I also thought that the scenes from the cafeteria and the blood-typing would have made it in..I did think that what was there, was good…I know to truly capture everything from the book–the movie would have been about 5 hours long..and even though there are MANY of us..that would have sat through it..I know they tried to condense..

I was totally excited to get the email that New Moon was a go!

    OME!!!!!(oh my edward, he he)

It was mazing Ive already seen it 2 times!!!!!!!!!!It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!!!! I can’t believe how well they portrayed the cullens!!! I pictured the whole thing EXACTLY LIKE THAT!!!!!! I thought that the could have made Bella a little more smiley!!!!!!: )))) like it might just be me, but i didn’t really see her smile much!!!! but it was still AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha i loved jasper’s face through the whole thing!!! I dont know if it was my town or somthing but the theatere would laugh at the most random moments!!!!!!! like when edward said “Hello” to bella for the first time (after his freak out in Biology and then gone for the rest of the week, u know what im saying???) EVERYONE CRACKED UP!!!!!!! haha it was HI-larious!!!!!

GO SUMMIT FOR MAKING MY FAVORITE MOVIE!!!!!! PLZZZZZZZZZ MAKE THE REST OF THE SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definately 5 stars from me. I absolutely loved the movie. I have to admit, I just recently read the books, because I was waiting on Christine Feehan to put out her newest in the Dark Series, bu I finished the entire Twilight series in 2 1/2 days. And then turned around and reread them. The cast was amazing, and it actually followed the book very close. It was pretty fun for me too, as I’m pregnant let’s just say baby gave mommy some interesting dreams on Friday night lol. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen, and I’m sitting here waiting for my husband (a trucker) to get home because he promised that he’d take me to see it again, and I can’t wait!!!!!!! I plan on buying the books from itunes as well, so that he can listen to them.

ok. i saw it on opening night and i sat there really mad through the whole movie. based on my first thoughts of it i give it a 5 out of 10. they left out sooo many important parts. for instance the meadow part!!! they are supposed to hike to this meadow becuase it is supposed to be a special place for edward. not just a walk into the woods by the school. and she is supposed to try and kiss him in the meadow. and then the biology class part made me mad too. the whole plugging his nose thing was stupid. and it made the entire theater laugh. i agree with the jasper part to. everyone laughed when he was introduced. they left out sooo many key parts the should have been pointed out for things later in the series. the major is the meadow. it is important to know the significance for when new moon comes out. also i didnt feel like it introduced the cullens very well and based on the movie i wouldnt have even known that jasper had any kind of special power. also the first time they touch is supposed to be in biology class. and they just added random parts in that werent even in the book when they could have put parts that were from the book in that they didnt in place of the ones that were jsut randomly added. i didnt feel a very good connection between bella and edward at all until the very last scene. i dont feel they did a good job of writing in parts that show how much love there is. and the end when jacob in supposed to dance with bella and how bella isnt supposed to know that she is going to prom.. ugh welll im just gonna say that i was disappointed at first. they left out a lot and rearranged a lot and added stuff that didnt need to be in there. hopefully with now a bigger budget they do a lot better with new moon. i went and saw it again on the second night and tried to watch it without comparing it to the book and i like it better now. i just hope new moon is a lot better and that i can feel the attraction between bella and jacob. the last thing that i didnt like was that they made it into some kind of little comedy when it is supposed to be a strong love story. its like turning the notebook into a somewhat comedy.. just wrong. thats all

So i loved the movie but i don’t know what was wrong with me i couldn’t stop laughing. people probably thought i was crazy. I took my lil bro who is 17 and he loved it too, huh he is already on team Edward and he didn’t even know anything about that. He got mad and said why is Jacob trying to break them up,and since i am team switz i tried to tell him that Jacobs dad payed him to go do that, and he said well why was Jacob mad doging Edward then oh well i wonder if he will like new moon. Twilight 5 STARS. i can’t wait to see it again
