“New Moon”, Summit Entertainment’s sequel to the highly successful feature film “Twilight”, is now currently in pre-production and casting directors are accepting photos and resumes from talent. Filming begins in March, 2009. Open casting calls
will be posted here also, as soon as dates and locations are released.

OMG! I can’t wait until this movie comes out. I will have to try to come and audition!!!! OMG, I can’t wait. YAY!!!!
I’m afraid to send my pic in for Jane. I’m 12 and like 5’5″ which seems too tall. And I’m sure many other girls will be trying out for Jane. I have no acting expierence, but apparently I can do that glare with a smile thing that goes right through you. I don’t know. Can someone help me?

Omg i have to audition alot of my friends wh have read the book say i would be the perfect Jane im short and i can just give people a look that there kinda afraid of and they just slowly walk away ohhh im soo excited even though its a strech to be so excited for something so big but still all i can do is hope and dream im so gonna ausition the only little problem is i live in virgina ( sigh)

Do you have to live in state to audition for any role?
Hey everyone! Just wanted to point out that it says “Please submit photos and resumes by MAIL only. No phone calls or personal drop offs” and the addresses for the different casting offices (LA and Oregon) are listed on the page. It also has a link for tips on what kind of picture to send and what to have on your resume.
This is soo cool. I live in Illinois but im DEFENITLY traveling to OR for open casting calls and sending in my info. Good luck to everyone

I have prepared my photo and resume to send in. I see that there are two addresses to send resume information to: “Extras Casting” in Los Angeles and Oregon. I am interested in auditioning for a more solid role which doesn’t take place until the end of the book in New Moon, in Rome. Does anyone have the address that I need to send in my photo and resume for the PRICIPAL ACTOR CASTING Address? Urgent, please respond back.

isn’t the shauna powell thing just a rumor as of now? unless someone confirms it, the auditions are most likely still going on, plus I’m sure other roles need to be filled as well.
I read the book and I don’t think there was any other part for me except Jane. Oh well,I always wanted to be an actress. Tell me for other auditions!

Too bad I’m from Portugal and there’s no e-mail where I can send it .. I’m 15 (turn 16 on 11th February ’09) so I’m too young to play Jane but it would be great to play either Emily or Leah. Anyway, I don’t want to think about that..

I would love to audition for a part in New Moon…Not to get famous, but because I love the series and I love being in costume reading a script…its sooo much fun….I live in Michigan and am hoping there are audition nearby…..but so far haven’t found any times or places for open calls yet….(I also think that going to at least one professional audition would be such a wonderful life experience for me even if I don’t get a part)
